The eyes thing is something i still ponder about after years
Back when i got to Mexico, lots of my friends, specially the ones i knew from before and some of the ones that knew me since we were 8 or so and who i met in vacation and bootcamps back then, told me that my eyes were 'crazy' and i knew something was being let known by how i looked because not long after some cops would stop me on the street and tell me if something was wrong and then say that i had an odd 'look' of sorts, or that my eyes looked like i was either drugged or in danger and stressed or something like that, so they would stop me to check on me as they thought i was going through something bad or running from something. It was the same thing several times over at least 2 years until i kind of learned how to look at other people without 'the eyes'
It kind of required to put my soul and mind into a peaceful state, of "nothing is going to happen, so you don't have to be full time on alert mode or looking at everyone as if they are a possible danger to yourself" and then finally i could relax and sit at peace or walk down the street without looking like someone is following me trying to kill me and i'm running away looking like an animal in danger
It's very hard to describe, but there's something very broken that takes a lot of time to fix, if ever, and i also learned to look at some of my friends who had terrible childhoods and they also had this odd look in their eyes, it was then easy to see when compared to other friends at school who had 'normal' lives
It's so terrible for sure, i wish no one had to go through it, and it's not only the eyes, it's the attitude, the lose of feelings, of emotions and of hope that goes with all that and it's at the very root.
It carries over to other things you do in life, like if you go to a coffee shop or bar, you sit against a wall so that no one is sitting behind you, if you go sleep alone, you make sure the door is closed and locked, and i kept a knife next to me when i was alone at my apartment because i felt insecure and weak while sleeping, and i did not know if someone would just break in at midnight and attack me! Something that was ridiculous if i think about it now, but back then i "could not take the risk"
All those kids look like any kid i may have met before over there and in other places, who had a massive bad childhood and has seen violence beyond what is reasonable, i know people like that still to this day

I don't know how you go that idea, but it is not right, there were very few real Russians in Donbass, the millions of people living there are Ukrainian and they parents, were also born Ukrainian, the only reason they are called "Russian" is because western media has made a great deal of their ethnicity and tried to play a narrative of "Russian invaders in the Donbass territory", as if the Russian government had moved millions of Russian citizens to take over the land and homes of Ukrainian citizens, while at the same time evaporating all the pre-existing civilians who lived there before.
All of this is resolved if you understand what i said before about communist party being the one behind the war effort against Ukraine. But also, understanding that people in Donbass were not and are not (for the most part) Russian citizens but Ukraine citizens may help a lotQuote:

I know a lot of people from Donbass, they are willing and hopeful to become Russians, but they are not and they don't even have the same customs in general, they are their own people, and before being Russian, they consider themselves something else, "Citizens of Novorossiya"
You should look into that, Novorossiya, it brings a total different perspective on the entire issue
If possible, and if given the chance, most people in Donbass would most likely chose to belong to a Novorossiya state instead of merging with Russia, but they do with the only options they have right now
All i'm saying is that there is a lot more going on, and a lot more complexity, than the brain dead narrative pushed by western media right now and since the past 9 years. Specially the childish explanations of why this war is happening they continually push all over the place

Of course, it takes diesel for trains and trucks to move coal to power plants, so you can see how this is not really much better than the shape of Germany right now.

However, that was too optimistic, because AlphaGo would not sleep after the match and went on a probably exponentially better learning curve to become “OmegaGo" as I called it. As a result, Lee Sedol – a genius of Go – tragically decided to give up competition altogether, because he guessed that "human creativity with a supernatural genius quality" would not be able to beat a future “OmegaGo”.
I think the AlphaGo metaphor teaches us a lesson.
Another point: you remember Donald Rumsfeld’s, or was it Dick Cheney’s?, telling journalists or academics, something along the lines of "you are still interpreting reality while we are already changing it". The implication being that interpreting reality is always slower than reality itself, especially when reality keeps changing in real time before the eyes of the interpreters. When the strategy of warrior A is inherently based on interpreting the strategy of warrior B, then B will win when he changes his own (B’s) strategy fast enough for A to get caught up in interpreting instead of fighting. In a way that may have been the cause of Sedol’s winning the forth match: he suddenly changed his own strategy so fast that AlphaGo was not able to reduce his move to any of the moves available for its analysis and started blundering.
The combination of both aspects leads me to surmise that our champion for freedom can only win against the "Empire of Evil" if his country’s version of AI is better than the Empire’s version.
I entertain the idea that that is exactly the case. Incidentally my quasi-certitude, or my belief if you will, is fed by my study of the great achievements of Russia as compared to the United States, in the field of artistic creativity. It is difficult to find an equivalent of Dostoyevski – I would choose Melville – but Dostoyevski is a hero of the entire Russian culture; Melville is ”too difficult” to be understood by college-level students. Russia’s great 20th-century modern composers (Scriabin, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Weinberg) are played in all Russian concert halls, continuously; Ives, Carter, Feldman – to name their American equivalents, are considered "Avantgarde" composers only understood by "specialists" and hence deemed not worthy the average citizen’s interest.
There is a good chance that Russia’s AI is better. That would be our real chance. It is probably so good that it even does not consider it necessary to remote-control the Russian president when he takes decisions or explains them to the country’s citizens.
The main problem for them i think, is not if the A.I. is better or not, the main issue is the data they currently manage
See this for example, there are two separate things:
1. A database. This contains all the basic stuff we know that can be used to describe reality (what's a color, what's a molecule, what's an atom, what's a person etc)
2. A knowledge base. This is an aggregation of facts and concepts, that in turn uses the database from 1. to describe the world
There Go game, can use both the database and the knowledge base to figure out how to play the game and what the rules are, but that information had to be entered by someone first.
That's where the human error can be introduced, let's say that the rules of the Go game can be described in full, and then also we can add lots of known moves to the knowledge base so the game engine can go look for a move that works against what the human just did
But what if someone 'corrupted' the knowledge based by describing an unrealistic world or unrealistic cases that do not match reality?
Let's work this case, for example (very simplified):
1. Sky is blue (from the knowledge base)
2. Blue is a color (from the database)
3. Colors have wavelengths (from the knowledge base)
4. Wavelength that match the color blue: 420 nm
So now you can 'describe' the color blue on a simulation, and it can be factual because it is based on known facts and data that can be proven correctly
But in the case of the political and military simulations, we have a small issue, as it has been identified by other people and by what you said before, it looks erratic and random sometimes
I think the data that is being fed into the A.I. is incorrect, because if you look at what they have been saying for months, in the case of the Russian ammo stockpile, they continually say Russia is about to run out of missiles/bombs/tanks/soldiers, yet none of it happens. So how is that happening?
1. They do not know how many of the above Russia has, but they have estimates
2. They run those estimates as the real factual data and then get back bad results (because it doesn't align with reality)
3. The work their strategy around those bad results and then get bamboozled when things don't go the way the A.I. said
4. They run another simulation (but update the data fed into the A.I. engine with more incorrect data, because they say 'well they lost around 10,000 more bombs so now they have less than previously esimated)
5. They get even more skewd results, then they plan their strategy around that bad data once more, and then bamboozled time comes around x 2
With every iteration, they go even more incorrect, to the point that now they lose thousands of soldiers per week because their estimates say it should not be possible to happen. Yet once on the ground, reality (which has separated more and more from their simulations by every run until it has nothing to do with what they 'see') comes hitting them in the face with a very hard punch
So as you probably have seen, now that they are completely lost as to what's going on, they made it worse by sending soldiers to the ground, so they can check and do something about the entire (reality and the A.I. simulation are not matching) situation. They are losing it and they don't understand why, so they had to manually go there to fix things up
So there's human error, and they have plenty because they keep assuming from bad data that is so old (this is related to the continuous cold-war mentality they have, by the way) that it's useless. And like i said, there's not a lot of people who can't see the strategy proposed by an A.I. and say "this is wrong", they just don't have competent people because they shot themselves in the foot with making people dumb so they could control them at will :)
If someone would enter the wavelength for Red color in the Blue database entry, then the A.I. would not know any better, and it would identify the color 'Blue' as what we see as 'Red', so then if you ask it to describe what a sunny day looks like, the color described by the A.I. in the simulation will not be correct
So what happens if no one is around to say "The wavelength is wrong for Blue, it is instead describing Red" and people just assume that the A.I. can't be wrong? Then we have a situation in which it leads to broken results, and no one is around to fix it? But maybe other places have it correct and remain silent just watching while this happens. That's what i see happening right now by the way, with all this war thing :)
The people capable of doing that hard work, are gone or will be gone soon, so even if just now they are not fully doomed, they will be in the near future, i don't have any doubt about it
And here's another example
Ukrainians were mocking the Russian army for using paper maps and old style radio calls to give coordinates across the mortar and howitzer line of defense. The way it works is more or less like this:
1. Forward observer detects the enemy position (either by sight or using a drone)
2. Calculates the approximate location
3. Calls to fire control central and tells them the enemy coordinates
4. Fire control calculates the exact coordinates and calls into the artillery and notified them were to shoot (they can and do use paper maps for this and to know where each group is located and altitude/distances etc are)
5. Artillery points their guns at the coordinates given and shoots (they do blindly, they don't know if the enemy is there or not, they just follow directions)
So this was mocked by the Ukrainians because it is not modern tech, but the thing is, this can't be disrupted like the hack they went through last week and before, they depend purely on satellite and computer networks, and if they lose that, they don't know how to work their machines or even how to figure out coordinates, because all of that was given by a drone detecting the enemy, then a computer along with a satellite would calculate it all for them and then they would just inform artillery of the coordinates given by the computer
So even if that works, if you hack into that network and skew the data just a bit, they won't know any better and point their guns at the wrong location. They have bad data, and they don't know any better, they can't figure out if it's good or not, they depend blindly on it
Any computer that is connected to a network, can and will be hacked on time
So in the end, it is not about the A.I. itself, but what data the A.I engine is working with
So yeah, even if they are not immediately doomed right now, they will be soon enough, because they have already shot themselves in the foot and there's no coming back from that

Serbia Rejects German-French Settlement Plan for Kosovo
BELGRADE (Sputnik) - Serbia has rejected a peaceful settlement plan on Kosovo and Metohija proposed by France and Germany as it implies that the breakaway province will become a UN member without a formal recognition by Belgrade, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Sunday.
"Its starting point is that the independence of Kosovo is already a done deal, but we do not accept that," Dacic told the Vecernje novosti newspaper.
The initiative suggested that Belgrade would get a fast-track to EU membership in exchange for Kosovo's accession to the UN, the report said.
"The conclusion of National Security Council is that this proposal is unacceptable for us and we all voted 'yes' for this conclusion… And while recognizing it or not in a formal sense, agreeing that Kosovo is a member of the UN is very difficult for us," the foreign minister said.
Tensions between Belgrade and Pristine flared up in August. The Kosovar authorities have required that local Serbs re-register their car plates, demanding that they feature the EU-standard letter code of RKS (Republic of Kosovo) instead of KM, the Serbian identifier for the disputed region of Kosovska Mitrovica on the border. The deadline for the re-registration was pushed to October 31.
On Saturday, representatives of the Kosovo Serbs decided to pull out of all structures of the self-proclaimed Kosovar authorities — including the parliament, government, courts and police — due to Pristina's decision to remove the Serbian police chief for refusing to issue written warnings to local Serbs regarding car plates. Later, Kosovo Serbs scheduled a demonstration on November 6 in the North Kosovska Mitrovica municipality.
