Politician expects Ukrainian army to focus on Zaporozhye after Russia’s Kherson pullback
It is noted that one of the goals is to seize the nuclear power plant
MELITOPOL, November 10. /TASS/. The Ukrainian Armed Forces will focus on the Zaporozhye Region following Russia’s withdrawal from the right bank of the Dnieper River, Chairman of the We Stand With Russia movement Vladimir Rogov told TASS on Thursday.
"The Zaporozhye direction is becoming a priority. Our enemy is sending forces there and it will also redeploy troops that will become available in the Kherson area. Why here? One of the goals is to seize the nuclear power plant," he said.
According to Rogov, Ukrainian troops stationed in the Kiev-controlled part of the Zaporozhye Region have already received dozens of armored boats, while over 700 Special Operations Forces members have been trained to seize a major technological facility on the banks of the Dnieper River.
"Our task is to prepare as much as possible for their offensive and breakthrough attempts, because we do not have much time," Rogov added.
The politician also praised the activities of artillery units, aircraft and motorized infantry "in the areas of Gulyaipole, Novodanilovka and Malye Shcherbaki and attacks on targets in the suburbs of the city of Zaporozhye."
On November 9, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu ordered that Russian troops be pulled from the right bank of the Dnieper River back to the left bank based on a suggestion by Army General Sergey Surovikin, chief of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. Surovikin pointed out that Russian troops were successfully thwarting Ukrainian attacks and one of the reasons for withdrawing was the risk that if areas downstream from the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant got flooded, the Russian forces would be isolated. According to him, all civilians who wanted to leave the area - over 115,000 people - have been relocated from the right bank.

This is rarely mentioned in mainstream media, but the fact is that most people are keenly aware that military aid to Ukraine and sanctions against Russia are driving hyperinflation.
Huge protests in Italy against those policies. This is a test for Italy's new prime minister Meloni's who had promised to listen to the people.

Fascinating talker, and a stylish presenter. And what a wild statement with that hairpiece! She has some kind of moxie or mojo or something.
I used the YT English captions, and got the meaning of more than half the words. Germany and me go back a ways, ‘89 back to ‘67, different length stays. I don’t care enough to properly attend and study the language, but this was a cool nostalgia trip. Thank you. ~8D

Russia bars entry to 200 US citizens — Russian Foreign Ministry
Among others, US President Joe Biden’s sister and two brothers, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, and Paul Pelosi, the husband of Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, have been put on the Russian ‘stop list’
MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. Russia is imposing entry bans on 200 US nationals as a retaliatory measure, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
"In response to the new individual sanctions that are being continually imposed by the Biden administration not only on Russian officials, business and public officials, and cultural figures but also on those who for one reason or another do not please Washington, a reciprocal ban on entering the Russian Federation is imposed against 200 US citizens," the statement said.
Among others, US President Joe Biden’s sister and two brothers, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, and Paul Pelosi, the husband of Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, have been put on the Russian ‘stop list’.
In addition, sanctions have been slapped on Christopher Cavoli, Commander of the US European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe, and four US under secretaries of defense and US Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland.

When my parents and I visited the World exhibition in Brussels in ’58, we did not go and visit this terrible "exhibit". That may not have been intentional: there was a lot their 8-year old son wanted to see (the Sputnik in the Soviet pavilion!) and time was scarce.
I heard about this revolting "idea" fifty (!) years later, when in the beginning of this millennium official racism of the Belgian State finally became center focus of younger historians in academia.
Terrible as it was, it did not end there. The poor men and women and children with black skin were treated so badly that more than just a majority became ill in the "moderate" climate and when "shipped" back home many of them did not survive the experience.
(Two years later, the first “socialist” Prime Minister of by then independent Congo Patrice Lumumba was – at American behest – kidnapped, tortured, shot and chopped to mincemeat – with the help of a few Belgian specialists of such treatment.)
