Ukrainians ‘zombified’ by propaganda – Tsar Wolves chief
The ongoing conflict is not a “walk in the park,” but Russia will prevail in it, the former space boss turned military adviser says
Ukrainian propaganda amounts to “zombification” of the country’s population, the ex-head of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, believes. The former top official is now leading a volunteer unit dubbed Tsar Wolves in Donbass that provides military and technical assistance to the troops.
“I cannot recall when Russia was fighting at once such a powerful coalition of high-tech nations [and] fighting with a population heavily poisoned by propaganda. We have a chance out there to have a look at Ukrainian TV propaganda – it’s really zombification,” Rogozin told RIA Novosti in an interview this week.
The conflict with Ukraine, which is being backed by the collective West, is definitely not a “walk in the park” for Moscow, Rogozin admitted. However, he said he had no doubts that Russia would prevail and succeed in achieving its aims.
The ex-space boss, who led Roscosmos from 2018 before stepping down last summer, is now heading up Tsar Wolves. The group’s name is a nod to Russian volunteer units that took part in a series of conflicts in the former Yugoslavia in the early 1990s.
The unit operates in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, which were recently incorporated into Russia. It is composed of “experienced military advisers and experts with rich combat experience” and provides military and technical support for the troops, according to Rogozin.
The unit has already successfully tested a new “smart” targeting module for mortars, Rogozin revealed earlier this week. The targeting system, as well as other modern weaponry, is set to “show itself” on the frontline “soon,” he said.

Turkey 'rejects' US condolences over Istanbul attack: Interior minister
ISTANBUL: Turkey on Monday rejected US condolences over the death of six people in a bomb attack in Istanbul that Ankara blamed on an outlawed Kurdish militant group.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan often accuses Washington of supplying weapons to Kurdish fighters in northern Syria, deemed as "terrorists" by Ankara.
"We do not accept the US embassy's message of condolences. We reject it," Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said in televised comments.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the bombing a "vile attack" that had the "smell of terror".
A nine-year old girl and her father, as well as a 15-year-old girl and her mother were among those killed in the attack.
Istanbul police said Monday that 46 people had been detained in total.
Russia reports on military advances in Donbass
Moscow’s forces have liberated several key locations in Donetsk Region, pushing back Ukrainian troops
The strategic village of Pavlovka, southwest of Donetsk city, has been liberated and cleared of Ukrainian troops, the Russian military announced on Monday.
“On November 14, after heavy fighting, Russian troops completely liberated the settlement of Pavlovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR),” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The village, located on a key crossroads, has seen intense fighting in recent weeks. Kiev’s forces sustained heavy casualties in the battle, the ministry said last week, losing some nine soldiers to one Russian.
The acting head of DPR, Denis Pushilin, explained earlier that the village occupies a strategic location, with its capture paving the way to potentially advancing further north. This is necessary to push Ukrainian forces away from the republic’s capital, which is subjected to artillery and rocket attacks on a daily basis, he said.
On Sunday, the Russian military also reported the liberation of the village of Mayorsk, which is near the town of Gorlovka, to the north of Donetsk. Russian forces also reportedly took the village of Opytnoye last week.
The settlement is located to the northwest of Donetsk, roughly between the city and its satellite town of Avdeevka, which remains under Kiev’s control. The village, effectively destroyed amid years of fighting, was an important stronghold for Ukraine and was used to shell residential areas of the DPR’s capital.
Russia sent troops into Ukraine on February 24, citing Kiev’s failure to implement the Minsk agreements, designed to give the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk special status within the Ukrainian state. The protocols, brokered by Germany and France, were first signed in 2014. Former Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko has since admitted that Kiev’s main goal was to use the ceasefire to buy time and “create powerful armed forces.”
In February 2022, the Kremlin recognized the Donbass republics as independent states and demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join any Western military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked.

Ukrainians tie ‘collaborators’ to poles in Kherson
Images published by AP claim to show public punishment in Kherson
Kherson residents suspected of collaborating with Russia allegedly face public punishment, as seen in photographs released by The Associated Press (AP). Ukrainian forces took over the city last week, after the withdrawal of Russian troops.
The news agency published pictures of two individuals tied to posts. A group of civilians and at least one soldier can be seen next to them.
According to the AP description, the people were “alleged collaborators.” It didn’t explain how the punishment had come about. Pillorying is not part of the Ukrainian legal system but has been used by nationalists in the country in recent years.
The provincial capital of Kherson Region has been under Russian control since the first days of the offensive. Last month, Russia incorporated the province after a referendum. Kiev rejected the vote as a “sham” and continued military action in the west of the region.
Last week, the Russian military left the port city along with other parts of the region on the right bank of the Dnieper River, saying that taking a better defensive position would save soldiers’ lives.
Regional authorities spent weeks urging civilians to leave Kherson, citing the threat from Ukrainian forces and possible attacks on the city, should it become a battleground.
Tens of thousands left, but last week, city administration head Aleksandr Kobets estimated that some 80,000 to 100,000 people remained there.
Images published by AP and other news organizations showed crowds welcoming Ukrainian troops in Kherson. However, covering the situation poses challenges for the media, since the Ukrainian Defense Ministry banned them from going there freely. Kiev said it needed to conduct “stabilization activities.”
On Sunday, the ministry released a blacklist of those, who had ignored the warning. Journalists working for CNN and Sky News were reportedly among those who lost their press accreditation.

Ukraine ready for peace, Zelensky says
On November 9, the Russian Defense Minister ordered the pullback of Russian forces from the right bank of Dnieper under the proposal of Sergey Surovikin
KIEV, November 14. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the Ukrainian side is ready for peace during his trip to Kherson on Monday.
"We are ready for peace, peace for all our country," Reuters quoted him as saying.
As the Ukrainian leader stated earlier, Kiev does not intend to let journalists in Kherson due to the necessary mine-sweeping.
On November 9, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu ordered the pullback of Russian forces from the right bank of Dnieper under the proposal of Sergey Surovikin, commander of the joint group of forces in the special military operation zone. The military official underscored that Russian forces have been successfully repelling Ukrainian attacks, and the decision to move the forces out was due to the threat of the group getting isolated because of potential flooding of the territory below the Kakhovskaya HPP dam. According to Surovikin, all civilians who expressed their desire to evacuate, which is over 115,000 people, have been brought to the left bank.
Zelensky And Bush To Give Joint Pro-War Presentation
War criminal George W Bush and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be appearing at an event next week at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, in partnership with US government-funded narrative management operations Freedom House and National Endowment for Democracy. The goal of the presentation will reportedly be to address the completely fictional and imaginary concern that congressional Republicans won’t continue supporting US proxy war efforts in Ukraine.
CNN reports:
Former US President George W. Bush will hold a public conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky next week with the aim of underscoring the importance of the US continuing to support Ukraine’s war effort against Russia.
The event, which will take place in Dallas and be open to the public, comes amid questions about the willingness of the former president’s Republican Party to maintain support for Ukraine.
“Ukraine is the frontline in the struggle for freedom and democracy. It’s literally under attack as we speak, and it is vitally important that the United States provide the assistance, military and otherwise to help Ukraine defend itself,” David Kramer, the managing director for global policy at the George W. Bush Institute, told CNN. “President Bush believes in standing with Ukraine.”
The Struggle for Freedom event will take place on Wednesday, in partnership with the Freedom House and the National Endowment for Democracy, at the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
To be clear, there is absolutely no reality-based reason to believe Republicans will meaningfully shy away from full-scale support for arming and assisting the Ukrainian military. The proxy war has only an impotent minority of opposition in the party and every bill to fund it has passed with overwhelming bipartisan support. Some “MAGA” Republicans have claimed that funding for the war would stop if the GOP won the midterm elections, but they were lying; there was never the slightest chance of that happening.
Bush, you may remember, drew headlines and laughter earlier this year with his Freudian confession in which he accused Vladimir Putin of launching “a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq — I mean, of Ukraine.” The fact that the president who launched a full-scale ground invasion which destabilized the entire region and led to the deaths of over a million people is now narrative managing for the US empire’s current aggressively propagandized intervention says everything about the nature of this war.
Also appearing with Bush will be the leader who’s slated to become the face of the US empire’s next proxy war, Tsai Ing-wen of Taiwan.
Many people who support the US proxy war in Ukraine now recognize that the Iraq war was a horrific disaster, but Ukraine isn’t the good war, it’s just the current war. Western propaganda means people always oppose the last war but not the war that’s currently being pushed by the propaganda of today. The US provoking and sustaining its Ukraine proxy war is no more ethical than its invading of Iraq; it just looks that way due to propaganda.
It is only by the copious amounts of propaganda our civilization is being hammered with that this is not immediately obvious to everyone. In the future (assuming we don’t annihilate ourselves first), the propaganda will have cleared from the air enough for people to look back with clarity on 2022 and realize that they were lied to, yet again.
It’s easy to oppose the last war. It’s hard to oppose current wars as the propaganda machine is shoving them down our throats. Everyone’s anti-war until the war propaganda starts.

The CEO of FTX admits in an interview it was a money laundering operation for Ukraine
Yes, again I will say that "Great Reset" was announced at a BlackRock convention at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in September, 2019, obviously shortly before the "Covid outbreak", and the similar 2020 Davos announcement. I cannot say for sure whether they got the words and ideas from other WEF members, but, from an operational point of view, it has obviously been launched by them, there.
I would not attribute them with ruling the world, since no one does, this is a delusional idea. Carte blanche over the "collective west", yes, they have that, however its influence over the other 85% is degrading rapidly, if indeed there is anything left. And for example, if they were in China, the government could at any moment put a stop to it and re-distribute the wealth. You can just wake up one morning, and the world as you knew it is gone. The same would have been true in the United States, at least until the late nineteenth century. This is the ability that defines a "good king", or whatever type of government, protection from monopolies/racketeering/etc., which is why they are so dangerous since they have got all the laws switched around to support them.
The Constitution of Germany says you are a subject of the European Central Bank; Canada, of the Crown of England. We could keep going, but, as we can see, all of these places are pretty much powerless, and, I suppose, falling apart for numerous reasons, mostly all orchestrated by the above-mentioned financiers and their tool companies.
Here is a strange case of "the hand that rubs both ways".
Some years ago, Greece was strung out by IMF loans, and when that happens, you tend to lose infrastructure and so forth. And then you still need to get up some money. So then something happened, which was expected to shortcut most of the Suez Canal shipping to Rotterdam. That was the sale of Port Piraeus, near Athens, which may have stepped on a few toes. This is exactly what a Greek told me about it:
A dockworker, Constantinos Tsourakis, said at the time "This is not a concession, it’s a giveaway of property belonging to the Greek people. Why should China be masters of the game at Piraeus and not the Greek state?"
Well, if there is a "why", it is something like this, off Wiki:
In 2003 the port had its IPO, after which the Port was majority owned by the Greek state (74.5%), while the rest was held by investors.
In 2014 The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), the Greek government's privatization agency, sought to sell a majority stake of the port to finance debt.
Economic performance of container handling has greatly improved since 2009. Before COSCO took over, the port's container handling record was at 1.5 million TEUs. These figures rose to 3.692 million containers in 2017. As a result, revenue and profits soared.
The port is also used by Chinese naval vessels assigned to escort merchant vessels against pirate activities along the Somali coast and in the Gulf of Aden since 2008.
The port of Piraeus is expected to become the busiest port of the Mediterranean in terms of container traffic by 2019.
As of 2021 the total capacity is hence now standing at 8,3m TEUs.
There are, of course, labor and wage disputes, but at the most basic level, it has been upgraded and expanded significantly.
Here is the same situation, different players, at Alexandroupolis:
The US, under a new defense agreement with Greece, signed on October 14, 2021, received several new military bases, including the port of Alexandroupolis and a military camp next to it. The Americans noted the port's strategic location. Today, a large amount of military equipment is already being shipped through the port.
At the same time, the expert added that many people would be grateful if the advance of the American vanguard, called NATO, towards Ukraine would stop as soon as possible.
"Received" is kind of vague, in this case it is not really ownership, but lease agreements with the local Port Authority, so you have full access to the use of it. Still reeling in debt, the proposal was made to sell it off like Piraeus, potentially to the Chinese or whomever, and then:
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), which, among other things, discussed the tender for the sale of a controlling stake in the Port Authority of Alexandroupolis (OLA S.A.) decided to cancel the tender process.
“The war will have sad consequences for the Greek people as well, because Alexandroupolis, like the ten other American bases located in Greece, creates a huge problem for the population," Kotsailidis stressed.
"It is no coincidence that the tender for the privatization of the port of Alexandroupolis, which together with the port near Evros will play a decisive role in the transfer of weapons [to Ukraine], was stopped and canceled. These two ports are the gateway to strengthening the Ukrainian front," the expert noted.
Let me see if I got this right: America occupies, whether by lease or ownership, at least eleven sites in Greece for military purposes. It seems to provide nothing but problems. Chinese management has increased the volume of supplies by five times, in a way that is obviously cheaper and faster than going to Netherlands. Greece, the actual culture which wraps all the way around the Black Sea, is practically impotent with no say in its own affairs.
The possibility of a "slight inconvenience" for American weapons traffic to the conflict zone is erased.
Why would they have been making such a "new agreement" around the end of 2021? What kind of planning is this? Something you do while waiting for the entire military to mutiny over their Covid shots? Trying to sort it out with Turkey or Libya or something?? Sounds grandiose and extravagant. Maybe the crystal ball just told them, well, it's all for Ukraine.
The Duran (Alexander Mercouris and Alex Christoforou) looks at the rumours of a peace negotiaion. What are the indicators that this will or won't happen, who is going to be doing the real negotiating with Russia (quick answer, the USA and not Europe, and certainly not the Ukraine) and what agendas have would be fulfilled by peace negotiations. 30 minutes.
Here's a headline, with a summary paragraph, from the NY Times 2 days ago.

~~~Winter Will Be a Major Factor in the Ukraine War, Officials Say~~~
Both sides are expected to pause operations. But heavy snows and freezing temperatures could make it difficult for the poorly equipped Russian army to regroup.
I'm no military expert. But I know a heck of a lot about winter mountaineering. :)
Russian mountaineers are famous for being among the toughest and best in the world in hard winter conditions. (They are equaled only by their cousins, the Poles.)
Moreover, their military has a proud history of achieving truly great things in the depths of winters past, and nowadays winter clothing and personal equipment has advanced technically light years beyond the numbing challenges of Stalingrad.
That ultra-lightweight and ultra-warm equipment is specialized and expensive, but you can bet everything you own that the Russian military has it — and that the unfortunate Ukrainian soldiers don't.
Today's bit of sarcastic wit? "Here's what the bank wants to think".
"Panic" and "tragedy" are British codswallop for "nothing...nothing...nothing...give me some money".
When you do:
U.S. GAO Finds Failure Is the Norm in U.S. Military Aircrafts: 26 of the 49 types of U.S. military aircrafts fail all performance goals.
(GAO = Government Accounting Office)
The encirclement is along these lines:
KIEV ATTACKS WAGNER PMC GROUP. BUT ONLY IN MEDIA
(extremely violent story about a single defector)
And mutiny looks like this:
On November 13, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation officially confirmed the liberation of the village of Pavlovka located on the southern outskirts of Ugledar. Earlier, Russian military correspondents reported that the village came under the control of Russian-led forces and the fighting is approaching the southern districts of Ugledar.
Heavy fighting has been going on for a long time for control over the strategically important settlement on the Ugledar front lines. The heavily fortified strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were located in the village, and the fighters of the DPR and Russia had to storm them meter by meter. At the same time, the advancing forces were shelled by Ukrainian artillery from Ugledar. However, Russian-led forces managed to take control of the village as well as the road leading to Ukrainian positions in Ugledar.
As a result of heavy fighting, the Ukrainian army suffered heavy losses. In total, 18 Ukrainian strongholds were destroyed.
During the battle for the village, the capture of Ukrainian prisoners in one of the strongholds in Pavlovka was caught on camera. The video once again confirmed the loyal attitude of the Russian military to the captured Ukrainians. They were provided with water, cigarettes, and remained unharmed. Russians’ actions can be compared with the attitude of Ukrainians towards wounded Russian soldiers HERE.
Today, Russian-led forces continue the mop up operation on the northern outskirts of Pavlovka under the fire of Ukrainian artillery. On November 13, another counterattack by Ukrainian forces in Pavlovka and Nikolskoye was repelled. As a result of the failed operation, more than 60 Ukrainian servicemen, six pieces of military equipment were destroyed.
and:
UKRAINIAN FORCES LOSING POSITIONS IN BELOGOROVKA, DONETSK PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC
The village of Belogorovka has been turned into a large fortified stronghold of the Ukrainian military. Units of the Russian-led forces attempted to storm Belogorovka in the summer, but their operations ended in failure.
After the fighters of the Wagner Group have recently expanded the area of their responsibility, the military operations of the Russian military in the area succeeded. Currently, Wagner units are fighting on the front lines between Nikolaevka-2 and Lisichansk.
The main efforts are obviously still in the area of the "Baby Twins", which is really the first priority, since that was the catalyst, random shelling directed at ethnic Russians. Of course it is difficult, and of course there are losses, but overall the Ukrainian positions are being notched away. No other way to do it. Time is certainly not on their side.
