Yes, Ukraine had about 1000 (a thousand) T-64, T-72 and T-80 tanks before the start of the war. Most of them have been destroyed. The same will happen to the few dozen more that they might receive — and even then, they can't be on the battlefield immediately.Quote:

There are countries such as Mexico who have a smaller army and yet they are very solid defensive wise. If Mexico has an army like the one Ukraine has lost 3 times already, there would be no cartels left around since very long ago. And the US would not be invaded by drugs every other corner the way the US gov says they are :)

In the West, a plot to start WWIII barely made the news.
The Chairman of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, posted a statement to his Telegram account calling for an international military tribunal of Angela Merkel and François Hollande.
"Such confessions made by the representative of the Kyiv regime and former leaders of Germany and France should be used as an evidence base for an international military tribunal," Volodin said.
Merkel and Hollande conspired to undermine the 2015 Minsk agreement. France and Germany deceptively agreed to the Minsk deal that would have halted the persecution and murder of ethnic Russians in Donbas, and also require Ukrainian neutrality.
Merkel and Hollande conspired with the USG and NATO to exploit the agreement. The peace deal was ignored in order to build up Ukraine's nazified military and make way for NATO and its missiles and tanks to be placed on Russia's doorstep.
In the West, this plot to start a world war barely made the news.
I'm not surprised. Here in America, the loud, persistent, and manipulative lies of the state insist Ukraine is winning the war, which is obviously untrue.
Information contrary to Big Lies cranked out on a daily basis by the USG and its script-reading media will be ignored. Reality is at odds with the war narrative.

Any attempts to destroy Russia could spell disaster for the entire world, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, warned on Thursday.
Speaking after a religious service marking the Orthodox Christian holiday of Epiphany, the primate claimed that both the international community and Russia are facing "very huge threats."
According to Patriarch Kirill, the root of the problem is that some "madmen" believe that Russia, which "has powerful weapons and is populated by extremely strong people... who had never given in to an enemy and had always emerged victorious, could be defeated under the current circumstances."
Neither would it be possible to "impose on them certain values that cannot even be called values, so that they would be like everyone else and obey those who have the power to control most of the world," he noted.
The Patriarch's remarks echo a statement by former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday, who warned those countries wishing to see Moscow defeated in Ukraine that nuclear powers such as Russia had "never lost a major conflict on which their fate depended." Should such a nation lose a conventional war, it could trigger a nuclear conflict, he added.
Earlier this month, the head of the Russian Church appealed to both Moscow and Kiev's forces to establish a truce in the run-up to and during Orthodox Christmas on January 7 to give the faithful a chance to attend religious services.
Hours later, the proposal was supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who ordered Moscow's troops to stand down for 36 hours. The ceasefire, however, was rejected by Kiev, with Ukrainian officials dismissing the offer as "hypocrisy" and a military ruse.

As a participant in the 20th century Cold War, I can tell you that the Cuban Missile Crisis had the effect of convincing the leaders of the US and the USSR that trust had to be created between the two nuclear superpowers in order resolve differences and prevent a reoccurrence of tensions at the level of the Cuban Missile Crisis.
President John F. Kennedy and Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev worked together independently of their military/security bureaucracies to resolve the issue. Both paid a price. President Kennedy was murdered by the CIA and Joint Chiefs of Staff who were determined not to lose the Soviet enemy that justified their power and budgets. Khrushchev was removed from power by Communist Party hardliners suspicious of accommodation to the capitalist enemy.
After President Johnson destroyed himself in the military/security complex’s Vietnam War, President Nixon renewed the tension reducing policy of President Kennedy. The Strategic Arms Limitations Talks (SALT) and arms limitations agreements followed. President Nixon topped them off by opening to China and replacing that tense relationship with the “one China” policy. This was again too much for the US military/security complex, and they orchestrated with the Washington Post the “Watergate” scandal to remove him from office.
President Carter tried to continue building bridges. He signed the SALT II agreement that Nixon had initiated, but Carter had his hands full with Israel and Palestine. The situation awaited President Reagan to bring about the end of the Cold War.
President Reagan was a cold warrior who wanted to end it. He hated what he called “those godawful nuclear weapons.” He thought it was terrible that the world continued to live under the threat that they might be used.
The Reagan/Gorbachev rapprochement held together in the George H.W. Bush administration. President Bush (senior) and Secretary of State James Baker promised Gorbachev that there would be no movement of NATO east if he agreed to the reunification of Germany.

I think that some people are truly dark inside and outside, when they chose to ignore this reality because it doesn't align with their stupid political narrow views. How can someone chose to ignore the suffering of thousands because they don't want to accept this is happening, as it puts their imbecile government leaders into a bad light?
How rotten can your soul be, that you choose to put first the image of some imbecile over the life of people?
Sometimes i lose all hope, and then the entire world turns very grey for me, i can feel it all like that, sad, draining, heavy and dense, like a fog invading everything and sucking away all the happiness in this world. It sucks
Here, these people died for nothing, they went there just to die, and then get frozen and thrown away on the side of the road like animals after a road kill inccident
But the money matters more. They are also left there to rot away so the government can claim them as "missing" but not declare them as KIA, so they don't have to ever pay their families the pension for their killed parents, husbands and childs
Stupid ignorant people supporting this, and claiming it is for freedom and democracy. Stupid people, getting resentful that this is exposed, instead of getting angry that it is happening. Rather they see it hidden away so their idiotic minds are at peace, than face reality and take action.
