United States of ‘Hypocrisy’ – Bassem Youssef on Mahmoud Khalil, Free Speech, and Gaza
It’s been almost two months since Mehdi and Bassem co-hosted ‘We’re Not Kidding’ together and A LOT has happened since then. As two naturalized US citizens, Mehdi and Bassem co-host again, starting off the conversation discussing the Trump administration’s arrests of international residents in the US who dare to criticize Israel.
The two also discuss Israel breaking the ceasefire deal (Bassem compares Israel to the ex you keep expecting better from) and its renewed attacks on Gaza, which have killed over 700 Palestinians in just three days with full political support from the Trump administration. Bassem also points out the inherent hypocrisy of US foreign policy throughout modern history – and how he and Mehdi are each coping with it (or not).

Very interesting analysis from all three of them.. Alastair Crooke, Alexander Mercouris & Glenn Diesen...
I am always of opinion... that this man president Trump is not able to see deeper... he is not a thinker as president should have to be!
We all see and notice.. that above him is another man... and zionist groups... it's amazing difference.. when it comes also a debate and comparisons about Xi... Putin ...vs Trumps intellects.. OK..
This was for myself... absolute masterclass debate... for years I love to listen both Alexes with their guests...
I am only disappointed.. that both of Alexs do not touch in talking... debating about Gaza and the ongoing genocide...
They only mention Israel in relation to Iran... and to US... they both.. never condemned israel's actions or even talk about the issues at all...
This is a unmistakable blind spot by both of them... they can not seriously talk about a world affairs... but they ignore this issue... here I am very very disappointed..

🇺🇸🇮🇷Iraqchi: The second round of talks will be held on Saturday
▪Foreign Minister: The talks in the first session were constructive. There were four exchanges of messages between the Iranian and American sides, with the Omani side returning.
▪They said that they wanted an agreement to be reached, but this required willpower.
▪The American side tried to show its will for a fair agreement.
▪We need to evaluate these conversations.
▪The meeting place will probably be somewhere else.
▪Today, the atmosphere of the meeting was such that it showed continuity and continuation.
▪We will hold the next meeting on Saturday and try to get into the agenda of the negotiations. The important thing is the content, on what basis we will negotiate.
▪In this meeting, we came close to the basis for negotiations.
▪The two delegations clashed upon departure, and this is accepted. We always observe diplomatic courtesy and it was limited to greetings and nothing more.
