Re: Israel vs Palestine/Lebanon/Iran/Yemen/Syria: a New Middle East War
Allegedly, Iran has changed tactics in the fight against Western influence and has begun mass GPS jamming in the Strait of #Hormuz instead of seizing tankers.
According to
@WindwardAI
Maritime, Iran has been jamming GPS signals amid the conflict with Israel, which has already distorted the coordinates of more than 1,000 vessels per day. AIS (automatic identification of vessels) systems are massively “showing” vessels on land: in Iranian ports, in the deserts of Oman, and sometimes even “hanging” near Dubai.
Among the victims are 27 VLCC supertankers in the last 24 hours alone.
While the Strait of Hormuz remains open, Iran is demonstrating that it can cause large-scale problems without blocking the flow of oil and LNG, this can be considered a digital blockade of the 21st century. 👍

I have alotta mixed feelings about it all. My brain is paralyzed because there's just too many moving parts, imperfect information, and speculation. It's like watching a Tarantino movie on acid. Right when I think I know what's going on, there's another plot twist.
Like any conscientious human being, I wish war of any kind was obsolete. But to read some of these posts here you'd think the U.S. just nuked Tehran or something. Last I checked there were some targeted strikes on several nuclear facilities. Has anything happened since? Was there a targeted attack on Khomeini's dog too?
When it's time to panic I'll be panicking right along with everyone else. But I don't think we're quite there yet. I have a hard imagining Trump getting involved in any kind of forever war in the middle east. I just can't see that happening. I think what we've just seen is going to be the extent of US involvement..in any kind of dramatic capacity anyway.

🇮🇷 Hackers have successfully breached over 400 Israeli military and industrial targets, leaking sensitive information and maps.
The exposed files include:
Blueprints and satellite images of military infrastructure
Energy facility layouts
Sensitive SCADA (industrial control and monitoring) systems
Among the revealed data:
Strategic maps of sites near Ashkelon, Dimona, and IDF logistical hubs
Security vulnerabilities tied to surveillance and environmental monitoring systems
This is a severe intelligence breach.

Pezeshkian joins mass protest in Tehran against US, Israeli aggression
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian joined a massive public and student demonstration in Tehran’s Enghelab Square on Sunday, rallying against crimes committed by the United States and the Israeli occupation against the Iranian people.
The demonstration came in direct response to recent US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites and Israeli aggression on Iran's territory, with protestors denouncing the assaults on civilian and military targets.
Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported that participants chanted slogans condemning the aggression and calling for national unity in defense of sovereignty.
Protest marks growing public support for Iran's armed forces
Demonstrators voiced their outrage over the strikes on vital infrastructure, expressing unwavering support for the Iranian armed forces and national leadership.
Pezeshkian’s presence was widely interpreted as a deliberate political signal—a show of support for Iran’s security and defense institutions at a time of heightened tension.
Observers say the rally reflects Iran’s increasingly unified domestic front, where both the public and state institutions are aligning in response to external aggression.

Pezeshkian accuses US of directing Israeli attacks
Ahead of the rally, Pezeshkian accused the United States of being the primary architect of the recent aggression, stating that “Washington is the main orchestrator behind the Israeli attacks on Iran.”
He argued that the Israeli entity lacks the capabilities to attack Iran on its own.
Pezeshkian added that the US initially sought to mask its involvement, but after Iran’s swift retaliation and the Israeli regime’s failure to counter it effectively, Washington was forced to intervene more directly.
The demonstration comes just days after a dramatic spike in national security concerns. Iranian officials continue to emphasize the country’s readiness to respond to any violations of its sovereignty, a stance reinforced by widespread public backing and official messaging.
According to Pezeshkian, Sunday morning’s powerful retaliatory strikes carried out by the Iranian armed forces against the Israeli entity were “in truth, a response to the United States’ aggressive policies.”
US targets Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, Isfahan
At dawn on Sunday, American aircraft launched coordinated strikes on Iranian nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The operation was officially announced by US President Donald Trump, who claimed the strikes aimed to weaken Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
Tehran, however, maintains that its nuclear program is entirely peaceful, and its officials have warned that further aggression by either the US or the Israeli occupation will trigger immediate and severe responses.

Interesting coincidence: the Iran-China freight train line was inaugurated 3 weeks ago (https://presstv.ir/Detail/2025/05/31...n-global-order).
And since 90% of Iranian oil exports go to China, the answer is: no, closing Hormuz is not suicidal for its economy. As the article says: "with the rail line far from any American military presence, Iran can export oil and import goods from China with the ease of mind if the sea trade is disrupted." 🤷♂️

🇷🇺🇺🇸🇮🇷 Rubio has issued a warning that any Iranian decision to shut down the Strait of Hormuz would represent a major escalation—and would trigger a response from the United States.
Meanwhile Dmitry Medvedev is taking notes while listening to Rubio, since strikes on nuclear facilities are obviously not considered a major escalation anymore.

The USA attack seems half hearted to me, 3 largely emptied sites, could it be that Trump is appeasing Netenyahu's nagging calls for assistance, while not committing to anything truly confronting? I dunno but this seems like a faux strike?
I agree. Trump didn’t authorize this strike to provoke Iran into war. He did it to remove the excuse for war. Specifically, the excuse Israel has used for decades to justify escalating the conflict. How many times have we heard "Iran is weeks away from a nuke." Now, that talking point is pretty much gone.
If this strike was meant to provoke regime change or a color revolution, it's completely the wrong to go about it. Instead, it was highly focused, strategic and controlled.
Tulsi Gabbard, back in March I believe, said Iran was not a nuclear threat. There are even reports that these facilities were abandoned, maybe long abandoned.
This wasn’t an escalation—it was an interruption. Trump has both neutralized the threat and the narrative in one fell swoop.

It's possible that in two weeks from now this all will become a distant memory and most people will be focused on something else, probably back on Ukraine or the Epstein files, etc.
Seems to be how things usually go....

The US has set itself up for a false flag by Israel. Had it been more circumspect in its actions, it would have sent the appropriate signal to Israel, that if they FA they'll FO.
The US has allowed itself to be manipulated like crazy by Israel. It truly is Israel's bitch now. Sorry for you guys down there and I hope we in Canada don't suffer for it, too. We have no choice but to be the US's bitch, just like all US aligned countries.
