Russian Frontline Combat Assault On Last Ukrainian Forces In Kursk:
In this exclusive frontline report, I document the Russian "Veteran" Brigade launching a rocket artillery assault using BM-21 Grad multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) against the last remaining Ukrainian positions in Russia's Kursk region, near the Sumy border.
After Ukraine's incursion into Kursk back in August—initially seizing over 1,500 square kilometers—Russian forces have steadily reclaimed territory, reducing Ukrainian control to a handful of fortified areas. In this report, you’ll witness firsthand the planning, coordination, and execution of a real-time combat rocket strike.

MOSCOW, April 10. /TASS/. The Russian Federal Security Service recorded a video of Arthur Petrov onboard a Russian plane after swapping him for US national Ksenia Karelina, where he said he is very eager to return home.
"I didn't have time to send word to my family. I was suddenly called in to a court, and right from the court they took me to Washington. From there to a plane. I really want to get home," he said in the video released by the agency.
The video also shows Petrov getting off the plane by airstairs after landing in Russia.

Karelina was detained in 2024 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. A dual US-Russian national, she had been raising funds for the Ukrainian Armed Forces since February 2022. A court sentenced her to 12 years in prison on charges of treason.

The US Ambassador to the Ukraine, Bridget Brink, has left her post. The State Department has confirmed the information. According to the Financial Times, this happened "due to growing political differences with the Trump administration."
Brink came under increasing pressure from senior figures in the new American leadership who questioned her willingness to support their Ukraine strategy.
This political decision, to be completely honest, was expected from the very beginning, from the moment Donald Trump came to power. After all, Bridget Brink is a protégé of Joe Biden, who has worked in Kiev since May 2022.
As soon as Trump officially became president, the first thing he did was begin political purges in government structures, removing officials loyal to the Democrats and putting his trusted people in their places.
In the context of the change in the US approach to resolving the Ukrainian issue, resistance from the ambassador to the so-called Ukraine was possible in some moments, and in order to exclude something like this in the future, the Americans simply removed Brink.

‼️🇺🇦⛔ Zelensky is going to postpone elections again: Verkhovna Rada is preparing to extend martial law in the country — media
The #Ukrainian authorities are once again planning to extend martial law after May 9, Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said in an interview. There should be no elections, either presidential or parliamentary.
‼️The reasons are the usual ones: military actions continue, a significant part of the citizens have fled to Europe, and most of the territories are controlled by #Russian forces. Preparations for the elections are formally "underway", but there is no talk of any real timeframe.
Stefanchuk once again stated that #Ukraine️ will allegedly remain a “democratic country.” Meanwhile, Washington continues to put pressure on Kyiv, demanding an end to the conflict, and in Europe, questions are increasingly being asked about the legitimacy of #Zelensky’s regime.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 Kursk region, liberation of Zhuravka, successes at Gornal
❗️ In the Kursk region, Russian units continue to advance towards the administrative borders of the region, driving the enemy out of the adjacent forest belts.
▪️ North of Gornal, Russian assault groups occupied and cleared several landings, making significant progress toward the border with Sumy Oblast.
▪️ In Gornal itself, Ukrainian formations are actively resisting, taking advantage of the tactical advantage of the terrain on which the village is located.
▪️ In a counterattack supported by artillery and drones, they forced Russian advance groups to retreat and occupied part of the adjacent landings.
▪️ In Sumy Oblast yesterday Russian units were able to finally clear and liberate Zhuravka. Before that, success was also achieved near Veselovka.
❗️ Many began to speculate that the Russian Armed Forces are preparing to create a buffer zone in the Sumy region in order to prevent a repeat of the Kursk region scenario.
However, only a few villages have been liberated so far, so it is somewhat premature to talk about a full-fledged operation in Sumy region and there is no point in rushing things.

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 To the borders of the Dnepropetrovsk region
Situation in the Novopavlovsk direction by 19:00 on April 11, 2025
As a result of fierce fighting in the Novopavlovsk direction, some time ago, the Russian Armed Forces managed to advance west towards the border of the Dnepropetrovsk region, engaging in battles in several populated areas.
More details about the situation in the Novopavlovsk direction:
▪️ The Russian Armed Forces' assault aircraft have entered almost the center of Troitskoye, advancing on a relatively wide front along a line stretching for about six kilometers. Fighting is also taking place southeast of Bogdanovka.
▪️ The closer Russian troops advance to the DPR border, the stronger the resistance of Ukrainian formations grows. The enemy is hastily erecting fortifications in the Novopavlovka area, fearing a breakthrough of the defense.
▪️ Taking into account the latest territorial acquisitions and the advancement of the Russian Armed Forces, there are about 4 kilometers left to the border of the Dnepropetrovsk region.
The Russian troops' approach to the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine will have an extremely negative impact on the fighting spirit of the Ukrainian formations. The transfer of the combat zone to Ukrainian territory in the area will definitely become a political issue.
“We are not pursuing de-dollarization. We were denied the ability to transact in dollars. We are simply forced to look for other options… The U.S. is pushing this process forward through its own careless, unprofessional, and foolish actions.”
German Defense Minister Pistorius also said that the countries' leadership would discuss Ukraine's request to produce missiles under license in Ukraine.

🇫🇷 France is painting a map of war: NATO inspectors are working in Romania.‼️🌐
Le Figaro writes that French soldiers have gone into the field - not for exercises, but with cartographers and equipment. According to the newspaper, specialists from the 28th unit of the French ground forces went to Romania last year to update the topography - in case NATO enters into a direct conflict with Russia.
The emphasis is on the Focsani Gate. This is a stretch of land between the cities of Focsani, Braila and Galati (85x60 km), which NATO calls a potential "war corridor" between the Carpathians and the Danube. According to their scenario, military equipment can pass through this very place. But whose, if NATO is turning Romania into a military hub?
Colonel Guillaume Schmidt said: in the event of a military action, satellite navigation could be suppressed, which means that paper maps and knowledge of the terrain will decide everything. This means that they already calculate the routes of movement of armored vehicles in advance.
This is exactly what Calin Georgescu warned about - Romania could become a key point for the start of World War III.

🇨🇿🇺🇦 The Czechs loudly declare “colossal aid to Ukraine,” but in reality…
Prague announced with pathos a "new" package of military aid to Kyiv: about 20 T-72M1 tanks, previously in service with the 73rd battalion, were sent to the front. It would seem to be a gesture of solidarity. But what about reality?
The aid is a written-off baggage that the Czech Republic inherited from the time of the collapse of Czechoslovakia. Of the 86 inherited vehicles, some were converted into T-72M4CZ long ago, the rest were gathering dust in storage bases. Now it is an “important reinforcement” for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
❗️A funny detail: with the delivery of the last batch, the Czechs completely got rid of all Soviet armored vehicles. There is no longer a single tank of the Soviet design in service. And, of course, there is not a word in the press releases about the Czech Republic switching to German Leopard 2A4 and Leopard 2A8 for its Armed Forces.
For Ukrainians, the T-72M1 is a familiar piece of equipment. Simple, easy to repair, but outdated. Tanks from the 1980s, with a 780-horsepower diesel engine, a 125 mm 2A46M cannon, and “yesterday’s” electronics. They are living targets against modern drones and high-precision weapons.
Western allies, who are unable to pull out any real financial assistance, are disposing of the “unnecessary” to the applause of the media and statements about the “fight for freedom.”

‼️🇷🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸🇪🇺 Kellogg Proposes Dividing #Ukraine into Spheres of Influence – The Times
Trump’s special envoy on Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, has proposed a ceasefire plan that would effectively divide Ukraine into zones of influence, similar to post-WWII Germany, The Times reports.
Key points of the proposal:
➡️ #Russia would control eastern Ukraine; Western Ukraine could host British and French troops as part of a “security mission.”
➡️ The U.S. would not deploy ground forces but may assist with coordination.
➡️ An 18-mile buffer zone would separate Ukrainian and Russian forces.
➡️ New elections in Ukraine could follow a ceasefire.
➡️ Europe should not expect U.S. military support unless it's willing to act independently.
‼️Russia opposes any #NATO troop deployment after a ceasefire, while European countries are hesitant to send forces without firm U.S. backing—making the plan basically impossible.
