This is approximately how the Ukrainian side tried to break through in the Tetkino and Novy Put section in the morning. They concentrated their main attention on the second settlement.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are true to themselves and are attacking using old methods. First, they sent in engineering mine clearing vehicles, which they used to try to break through the border "dragon's teeth".
They were met as expected, but then they brought in armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles, apparently with the expectation of slipping through the border in mobile groups and repeating the maneuver in Demidovka.
However, these methods did not produce any particular results in the Belgorod Region or in this section of the Kursk Region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost expensive armored vehicles again and retreated.
It is believed, that the attacks will not end there. The Ukrainian command does not care about losses, so we should expect new attacks. Now they are trying to hit the same place in the hope of success, and so far there are no prerequisites for changing the areas of attack.

FSB prevents terrorist plot near war monument in Kherson Region

MOSCOW, May 7. /TASS/. Operatives from Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) have prevented a planned terrorist attack organized by Ukrainian special services near a war monument in the town of Kakhovka in the Kherson Region.
The attack was intended to occur during a memorial rally attended by local residents. Three Ukrainian citizens in possession of four home-made explosive devices with submunitions were detained, the FSB Public Relations Center said.
"As a result of actions undertaken, three Ukrainian nationals were apprehended who were plotting to detonate a makeshift explosive device near the Tank T-34 monument honoring the Soviet warriors-liberators in the town of Kakhovka during a memorial rally of the town’s leadership and residents," the press service said.
The operatives seized from the suspects four home-made explosive devices with submunitions, disguised as fragments of the tank and tin soda cans, equipped with GSM modules with SIM cards for remote detonation, as well as four electronic detonators and three hand grenades, the FSB specified.
The press service noted that earlier, on orders from their handlers, the suspects unsuccessfully attempted to blow up a motor vehicle carrying Russian servicemen. "They also planned to assassinate one of the staff members [of the local municipal administration] using a makeshift explosive device," the FSB noted.
The detainees confessed that they were recruited in the fall of 2024 via a social network prohibited in Russia to report to the adversary on the locations of Russian army units in the Kherson Region.
The investigative department of the FSB Directorate for the Kherson Region has brought criminal charges under Article 222.1 Part 3 (illegal trafficking of explosive substances or devices) and Article 30, Part 1, Article 205, Part 2 (planning a terror attack) of the Russian Criminal Code. "The perpetrators admitted their guilt and are actively cooperating with investigators," the FSB Public Relations Center said.

"In line with the campaign of intimidation of European leaders that has been unleashed by Brussels to please the Kiev regime and prevent them from traveling to Moscow, the most zealous EU members are using uncivilized methods, seeking to close transport routes leading to Russia," she said in a statement.
"EU countries continue the practice of restricting the sovereign right of nations to carry out their own foreign policy, using all means at their disposal," Zakharova went on to say.
She said the refusal of Lithuania and Latvia to allow the plane carrying Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to fly through their airspace represents "another egregious case" of that practice.

The Russian army advances on a broad front towards Konstantinovka, the Russian flag is raised over Novoolenovka , and Alexandropol and Novaya Poltavka are stormed
▪️In the Konstantinovsky direction, Russian troops, after the assault, raised a flag in the northern part of Novoolenovka . The cleanup of the outskirts continues.
▪️The Russian army is also storming Alexandropol and Novaya Poltavka, advancing towards the center of the latter.

A landing party is fighting the enemy in Kursk's Tyotkino, driving out the occupiers
▪️Airborne assault troops are clearing Chapaeva Street in Tyotkino, where the Ukrainian infantry had previously managed to break through. Fierce fighting is underway.
▪️Also, shooting battles break out on the state border, where Ukrainian militants have been trying for 3 days to break through to Russian territory from the area of the villages of Iskriskovshchina and Budki in the Sumy region.
▪️In the New Way area, all enemy offensive attempts have been repelled, and a significant number of armored vehicles have been destroyed.
▪️The enemy continues to move reserves to the border area, without yet introducing them into battle. In the coming days, new attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack with reserves are expected.

“The Russians are asking for a certain set of requirements, a certain set of concessions in order to end the conflict. We think they’re asking for too much,” — Vance said.
Vance said the next step is to get Ukraine and Russia to agree to talk to each other.
“We would like both the Russians and the Ukrainians to actually agree on some basic guidelines for sitting down and talking to one another,” he said. “That is the next big step we’d like to take.”
Speaking to the Munich Leaders Meeting in Washington, he said that the U.S. is focusing on a long-term settlement since Russia has rejected the U.S. call for a 30-day ceasefire. Moscow has said that sort of temporary pause is not in its strategic interest because it would allow Ukraine to regroup.

That must be an outgrowth of the "Ukraine mentality", and we get aerial bombs that obviously have to be ferried somewhere by an airplane.
