Jon Lord, the former keyboard player with rock band Deep Purple, has died aged 71.
Lord, who co-wrote many of the group's legendary songs including Smoke On The Water, had been receiving treatment for pancreatic cancer since last August.
He co-founded Deep Purple in 1968 and also played with bands including Whitesnake during his career.
He died at the London Clinic on Monday, surrounded by family. "Jon passes from Darkness to Light," a statement said.
A classically-trained pianist, Lord was influenced by blues and jazz but approached his Hammond organ with a rock attitude and helped Deep Purple become pioneers of progressive and heavy rock.
The band established their sound and success at the start of the 1970s with albums including Deep Purple in Rock and Machine Head.
The group split up in 1976 but reformed in 1984 and the line-up has undergone numerous changes over the years, with Lord a mainstay until he left 2002.
In its classic years, the band also included guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, singer Ian Gillan, drummer Ian Paice and bassist Roger Glover.
Born in Leicester on 9 June, 1941, Jon Lord began playing piano and taking classical music lessons from an early age.
He received a scholarship to drama school in London at the age of 19, during which time he began playing jazz and rhythm and blues in pub gigs.

The following is an actual question given on a University of Arizona chemistry mid-term, and an actual answer turned in by a student.
The answer by one student was so 'profound' that the professor shared it with colleagues via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well:
Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?
Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant.
One student, however, wrote the following:
First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving, which is unlikely. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today.
Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.
This gives two possibilities:
1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.
So which is it?
If we accept the postulate given to me by Anabella during my Freshman year that, 'It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you,' and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number two must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct.....leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a divine being which explains why, last night, Anabella kept shouting 'Oh my God.'

EMP Threat
First hour guest, novelist and former Reagan White House staff member Karna Small Bodman (photo) talked about the EMP (electromagnetic pulse) threat and what we can do about it. She outlined a possible scenario in which a militant group or a country that doesn't like America gets hold of a small nuclear device and attaches it to a delivery device like a SCUD missile, then detonates it 50 miles up in the air from a ship off the US coast. This would unleash a shockwave or EMP that would fry electronics on the ground, knock out the grid, and in a general sense, set us back to the year 1910, she warned. Bodman suggested that the US expand its missile defenses, develop back-up systems, harden the existing power grid, and remain vigilant about nuclear proliferation.

Investigative reporter known as "The Ultimate JFK Historian," Lamar Waldron, discussed new information and documents that link the murders of Jimmy Hoffa, mob boss Sam Giancana, and Mafia don Johnny Rosselli to the Watergate scandal. These men, he revealed, all had ties to Richard Nixon as well as to JFK's assassination. Waldron dispelled what he considered myths about Watergate-- one of which was the idea that the cover-up was worse than the crime. There were actually four burglary attempts at the Watergate, and the same crew burglarized the Chilean embassy in Washington. According to Waldron, the Watergate burglaries were Nixon's attempt to retrieve files that revealed how he orchestrated the CIA and E. Howard Hunt to use the Mafia to kill Fidel Castro, before the 1960 election. As well as how he got a $500,000 bribe from some of those same mobsters.
The mobsters the CIA was secretly using in 1963 to kill Castro--Rosselli, Trafficante, and Carlos Marcello-- later confessed they were involved in the JFK assassination instead, said Waldron. If JFK hadn't decided to prosecute the Mafia, he'd still be alive, Waldron surmised. After Nixon's resignation, congressional investigations started exploring these Mafia plots in 1975, and Sam Giancana and Jimmy Hoffa were both murdered before they could testify.
Waldron revealed new information that Hoffa secretly visited Mafia boss Carlos Marcello at his thousand-acre spread outside of New Orleans, possibly just the day before he disappeared. He also talked about the missing "18-minute-gap," called the "smoking gun" of Nixon's Watergate tapes, and said it contained details about E. Howard Hunt, the Bay of Pigs, and the Mafia's involvement.

Solar storms and pineal gland – riding the power wave

According to study published in the New Scientist back in 1998, there is a direct connection between the Sun’s solar storms and human biological effects.
The conduit which facilitates the charged particles from the Sun to human disturbance — is the very same conduit which steers Earth’s weather —– the magnetic field. Animals and humans have a magnetic field which surrounds them — in the very same way the magnetic field surrounds the Earth as a protector.
From 1948 to 1997, the Institute of North Industrial Ecology Problems in Russia found that geomagnetic activity showed three seasonal peaks each of those years (March to May, in July, and in October). Every peak matched an increased incidence of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and suicide in the city Kirovsk.
Electromagnetic activity from the sun affects our electronic devices and human electromagnetic field. We are physically, mentally, and emotionally altered by electromagnetic charges from the sun, our body can feel sleepy but also become highly energized.
Psychological effects of CMEs (coronal mass ejections) are typically short lived and include headache, palpitations, mood swings, and feeling generally unwell. Chaotic or confused thinking, and erratic behaviors also increase. Solar storms can drive our emotions and maximize it to both good and bad side – the point here is to be aware of it.
Pineal gland in our brain is also affected by the electromagnetic activity which causes the gland to produce excess melatonin, a hormone which can cause sleepiness but it’s also known that some people have opposite side effects, usually those that are aware of the effects.

Our pineal glands have excess melatonin production during solar storms – electromagnetic activity. Many biological effects of melatonin are produced through activation of melatonin receptors, while others are due to its role as a pervasive and powerful antioxidant, with a particular role in the protection of nuclear and mitochondrial DNA.
Pineal gland is also referred as the third eye, and the third eye is also known as the inner eye. The third eye is a mystical and esoteric concept referring in part to the ajna (brow) chakra in certain dharmic spiritual traditions, in particular Hinduism. This concept was later adopted by Christian mystics and spiritualists as well as people from other religious faiths. It is also spoken of as the gate that leads within to inner realms and spaces of higher consciousness. Among Christian mystics, the term is used in a broad sense to indicate a non-dualistic perspective. In New Age spirituality, the third eye may symbolize a state of enlightenment or the evocation of mental images having deeply personal spiritual or psychological significance. The third eye is often associated with visions, clairvoyance (which includes the ability to observe chakras and auras), precognition, and out-of-body experiences. People who have allegedly developed the capacity to utilize their third eyes are sometimes known as seers.
For the reasons most of you know – humans tend to have their pineal glands heavily calcified – sleeping.
Fluoride (found in tap water, toothpaste, processed foods…) is just one of the things that causes calcification of pineal gland. Fluoride is magnetically attracted to the pineal gland where it forms calcium phosphate crystals more than anywhere else in the body. How to decalcify pineal gland? One excellent link is here.
Third eye should be active, vibrant and strong… the process of decalcification sometimes includes headaches and sleepiness… – the same as they say for solar storms like the one in effect now.

Departing Active Region 11520 has left the earth facing side of the disk with a bang producing two M-Class flares today. M6.7 at 05:41 and M7.7 at 05:58 UTC. Type II and Type IV Sweep Frequency Events resulted and a 10cm Radio Burtst (TenFlare). Large coronal mass ejection(CME) is now in progress but is not earth directed.

On July 12, 2012, I was awakened from dreamtime by the voice of Jose Arguelles
saying to look up the alignment for July 24, 2012. He said this is a very
important day. I immediately knew that was the ending of the Dreamspell calendar
for this year. I looked up the meaning of the glyph for that day, and it is the
Red Overtone Earth, which is guided by life force.
Then I looked in a book I have had for years called It's About Time by Nell
Arnaud. This is what it says about the Red Overtone Earth, which is called
Caban. " Caban is the glyph of the red earth and is the access point to your
natural alignment with Earth force. It is the point-of-perfect centeredness in
the eternal present from which all alignment and magic manifest. Your center,
the Earth center is the secret of gravity's magnetizing force. From the center
point within self, you align with this galactic center. "
It goes on to say "Caban is a symbol of the Earth Keeper, the keeper of the
garden, the shaman-healer who, through reverence for all life, heals and
sanctifies the Earth. As you bring light to yourself, you bring light into
matter. Caban also has a staff that is both connected to the cosmic
consciousness of the stars and firmly planted in the Earth. Caban holds the
ascension of Earth and all humanity."
After reading the meaning of this glyph I understood what is so important about
this day. It is a day when we need to do ceremony, or meditate, to initiate
another consciousness shift to push us totally into a new reality. If enough of
us can bring in the light we can cause a big difference in the world. It would
be kind of like the Harmonic Convergence that happened in August of 1987 which
pushed us into a new timeline. The Harmonic Convergence was instigated by Jose
Arguelles. He has been nudging me to get this information out there so we can
gather in consciousness and move into the energy of love, joy, and magic.
The tone for Caban is called Overtone and is the number five. This is the number
of the year we are in. The number 2012 equals five. The Goddess Star is a
five-pointed star and represents the planet Venus and the Pleiadian system. This
is what the Mayan Calendar is based on.
The meaning for this Overtone is about radiance and the vibration of center,
empowerment and taking command. Radiance is the quality of radiating out from
center, expanding one's essence and energy so that it is felt, perceived, and
seen at a distance. Use this Overtone to empower your radiance by committing to
your center. Your center is the most stable, wise, calm, joyous, and powerful
part of you.
Being centered means to be self-validated, self-assured and aligned with the
present moment. When you are this intimately connected to yourself and aligned
with the present moment, you are an unstoppable force, able to take command and
be resourceful. All the energy and intention to this point has been gathered up
to empower and intensify the intention of your creation and to facilitate the
next phase of creation. See why July 24 is such a powerful day? July 24th is
the last day of the calendar, and July 25 is a day out of time and also a time
for celebration. It is New Year's Eve for the Dreamspell.
I think it is very important to pay attention to those days and connect with
this energy. It's time to move out of pain, suffering, and all of that old
third-dimension stuff we don't need anymore. This Dreamspell calendar is lined
up and starts with the star Sirius rising over Egypt and the Pyramids. Sirius
was a very important star for the ancients. It was also very important for the
United States because our government was set up on July 4, 1776, which lines up
with 13 degrees Cancer and that is where Sirius is located in the heavens.
The glyph for July 26, or this upcoming year, is the Blue Resonant Storm and is
ruled by the planet Pluto, which is a very powerful planet. This glyph is called
Cauac and is the initiation by fire, the lightning path, and the arrival of the
thunderbeings who bring the final transformation. To the Maya, Cauac represents
the storm, the thundercloud full of purifying rain, and the lightning that
shatters any false structuring of reality. Pluto rules Scorpio, and Saturn will
be moving into that sign in October of this year. The moon's node will move into
Scorpio by the end of August so look for the shattering of false reality.
This is why it is so important to release all of your fears, worries, and
negative thinking now so you can move into this new energy and start manifesting
happiness. Live in the NOW! Yesterday is gone; tomorrow is not here yet, so what
is there to worry about? Worry is just an illusion anyway, so why stress out
worrying about what may happen? Create from the energy of your heart. All is
well in my world. Blue storm will open a gateway to new consciousness.
The tone for the Blue storm is called Cosmic. This tone will last from July 26,
2012 to July 26, 2013. Cosmic, the final and thirteenth tone of creation is the
Cosmic Tone of presence and the vibration of endurance, transcendence, and magic
flight. Presence is the connecting thread among all of life. The presence of
life is what we all share…the universal life force that underlies and unifies
all things…the presence of spirit, the presence of love, the presence of your
cosmic self.
Use the Cosmic Tone to bring your full presence into the world and express your
spiritual consciousness. Be present in each and every moment. Rejoice in your
ability to transcend all limitations and to endure the waves of life. Be fully
present to the waves of life for their entire duration. This tone represents the
final stage of completion. Be flexible and allow for change and new viewpoints.
Expect dramatic transformation this year.
The Olympics are starting on July 27, 2012, and it is in England this year.
England has been one of the main powerhouses for the banking system and control
of the world. The reason for this is that the energy from the great central sun
that holds 27 galaxies in place focuses into Stonehenge and the dark took
control of that area. .If we focus our energy on this area at the opening
ceremony of the Olympics, and send lots of love and light and good thoughts to

Just want everyone to know the conference was awesome, in fact it went so smooth
without any glitches I have to take my hat off to the professional and awesome
crew, not to mention the awesome attendees. The photographs and video of the
ships is going up on the you tube channel ecetistargate. Our 6th court case was
set off again now it will be in August around the 26th. We will update everyone
yet do not believe this date will happen due to other irons in the fire. Three
judges and two lawyers have been dismissed or recused themselves and they really
have no legitimate standing to proceed yet seem to continue in the harassment,
malicious use of process and barratry. They have no agreement with the 100s of
thousands of people setting the intent to dismiss this case nor do they have any
agreement with their own rules and regulations they do not follow; which are not
law. In fact they are contrary to basic human rights. There is a much bigger
picture being played out here, we are merely the microcosm of the macrocosm.
People are crying out world wide for an end to the trespasses of tyranny, the
control and domination systems in place and demanding universal law return to
the planet. The 1% elite who believe they are entitled to control, dominate and
enslave the masses as well as their enforcement agencies are unraveling. These
systems cannot continue, they are not frequency specific to the Earth's
evolution. Nature will play a grand role in the collapse of the present system
which has but two options, transform or collapse. The Sun is blasting out one

This video is time well spent in understanding some of the phenomenon being observed at the Ranch.
What you are seeing, with what are being called 'orbs', are actually small plasma balls. You may already be aware of this fact.
Plasma is being called, "the fourth state of matter". It should be noted that plasma cannot exist outside of an electromagnetic field. The Earth, the Solar System, The Galaxy, and therefore, the entire universe is nothing more than a giant electromagnetic field, filled with visible plasma.
I suspect the increased plasma activity in your area is related to the general proximity of the tectonic, and volcanic activity all around you.
To gain further understanding, one must look at the work of Nikola Tesla, and the evolution of his work which can be referred to as 'Scalar' Physics, or Zero Point Energy.
I'm certain you are already aware of how this Scalar Physics is being used in the H.A.A.R.P. project and other such phenomenon.
