Well that was the most lame attempt at a coup d'etat I've ever seen. A couple old tanks and a couple dozen trucks carrying a couple hundred disheveled "soldiers" in ill-fitting uniforms.
The modest parade was escorted by Rosgvardia into Rostov; Prigozhin pretended to "occupy" the city, then he had a chat with a couple generals, after which he and his motley group of "insurrectionists" drove away again.
Now Putin says they're all in VERY big trouble and will be dealt with promptly and harshly.
That's it, folks.

4. Prigozhin suffers from bipolar disorder and has been having a manic episode going on for months now that is reaching its crescendo.
Keep in mind that when someone is in a manic episode, they suffer from paranoid delusions. Paranoid means they think people are out to get them even when they're not. Delusions means their beliefs are clearly not all true. Sound about right?
I have been hesitant to say this but I suspected it might be true all along.
Also, keep in mind, he may not be doing all these things for himself, but really for the sake of Russia. It's just he could be delusional and not totally in touch with reality. I really don't think he's trying to stage a coup, but in his mind, he needs to do certain things for Russia. It's difficult to describe delusional people unless you have experienced them firsthand.
I will also add that severe stress is a pretty sure way to trigger a manic episode in a person with bipolar disorder.~~~
You take a bipolar person and put them in a meat grinder like Bakhmut and I assure you they'll all come out of there manic.

Some reasoning behind this as it's assumed that there's a channel of communication between them both, at least through a direct intermediary, which would sort of make sense.

This is interesting theatre and I suspect not based on any actuality, at all. Wagner marching on Moscow? Fictional baloney, frankly, right up there with the utter drivel from Ukrainian TV about 50,000 Russian troops surrendering; cans of tomatoes taking out Su-35 fighter bombers; the 'Ghost of Kiev', and on, and on...
Give me a break :)
It's a distraction, and nothing more.
Personally, I'm rather more concerned about the ZNPP situation, as in the demented minds of the ideologues in London and Washington staging a false-flag attack ahead of the July 11th NATO summit to legitimise an Article 5 response is a much more seriously possible likely scenario, which you can bet will have been planned.
Let's pray that doesn't come to fruition.

We have RT Journalist Roman Kosarev making the below video claiming Gunfire at the Rostov Military HQ were Prigozhin is being said to be.

Seems whatever is happening, is staged and or a distraction, and given the west wants urgently for reasons beyond understanding, for a Nuclear war and for Ukraine to win, the next couple of days are going to be very interesting and or vey boring, hope very boring.
EDIT. What are the chances that the west will now look to provide Prigozhin with some assistance?
More on this 'situation' whatever it may be. I'm standing by the distraction angle for now until I see any real truly convincing footage (where is it?) to assert the message that's doing-the-rounds at the moment:

My take is, that until we actually see any proof of kinetic hostilities, there is no situation in Russia.
We’ve seen wild speculation and unverified reports, but on the ground it looks like a photo op.
But if you want to know what I THINK is happening; I think Prigozhin is doing what he always does, which is say crazy **** to create the illusion of disarray, to cover for Russian tactical movement/assaults.
Just like he did in Bakhmut, he claimed Russia wasn’t giving him ammo, he was going to pull all his troops out, wanted Shoigu’s head on a platter, etc., only to turn around and finish taking Bakhmut shortly after.

The only place this is a civil war is on the Internet, because the 🇺🇦 folks are eager to say and believe anything to deflect from the catastrophic losses in their holy “counter-offensive”.
