There is a potential of a very large earthquake to develop in the West Pacific this week (7-10 days from today April 6, 2023) going above M7.9 into the M8 range, as well as two new locations to be on watch for M7.0 range activity (which is large in its own right).....
The locations in question are :
Mideast Iran -- up to M7.0 incoming
Coast of Chile -- up to M7.0 incoming
Vanuatu / Solomon Islands / PNG -- up to M8.0 incoming *possible
Additionally we have warnings going for M6.5 level to strike near Anchroage Alaska, and Coast of Japan Tokyo.
United States now on watch for M5.0 range (possibly just upper M4) in the Los Angeles basin (downtown LA basically).
East coast USA already started to move exactly in New York state, but we are looking for M4.0 level in Delaware, so I don't think this NY quake is the quake we're looking for, still several more days to go on the East Coast USA watch."

"Scientists fear a hole in a 600-mile-long fault line in the Pacific could trigger a catastrophic earthquake that would decimate cities along the northwestern US.
The hole spewing hot liquid sits 50 miles off the shoreline of Oregon, on the boundary of the dipping fault known as Cascadia Subduction Zone, which spans from Northern California into Canada.
This geological feature is capable of unleashing a magnitude-9 earthquake in the Pacific Northwest - and the hole could be the fuel it needs.The leak was first observed in 2015, but a new analysis led by the University of Washington (UW) suggests the chemically distinct liquid is 'fault lubricant.'
This liquid allows plates to move smoothly, but without it, 'stress can build to create a damaging quake,' researchers said.The leak was first observed in 2015, but a new analysis led by the University of Washington (UW) suggests the chemically distinct liquid is 'fault lubricant.'
The team named the hole, which they describe as a hot spring, 'Pythias Oasis' after the ancient Greek oracle who 'prophesized' with the assistance of the mind-altering gases rising from a hot spring.
'It seems equally hallucinatory to find a spring of low-salinity, high-temperature, mineral-rich water flowing from the seafloor 3,280 feet below the surface off the coast of Oregon,' researchers shared in a statement.
A robotic diver uncovered the hole in a 2015 survey when sonar images captured bubbles rising from the seafloor.
Data showed liquid from the spring was coming from the plate boundary line and appeared warmer than the surrounding area.
Co-author Evan Solomon, a UW associate professor of oceanography who studies seafloor geology, said in a statement: 'They explored in that direction and what they saw was not just methane bubbles, but water coming out of the seafloor like a firehose.
'That's something that I've never seen and, to my knowledge, has not been observed before.'
Observations later determined the leaking fluid was 16 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the surrounding seawater and was coming directly from the Cascadia megathrust, where temperatures are an estimated 300 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
'Loss of fluid from the offshore megathrust interface through these strike-slip faults is important,' the statement notes, 'because it lowers the fluid pressure between the sediment particles and hence increases the friction between the oceanic and continental plates.'
The Cascadia megathrust spans several major metropolitan areas, including Seattle and Portland, Oregon, but also touches parts of Northern California and Vancouver Island in Canada.

The Cascadia subduction zone is a region where two tectonic plates collide.
The Juan de Fuca, a small oceanic plate, is being driven under the North American plate atop the continental US.
Subduction systems – where one tectonic plate slides over another – can produce the world's largest known earthquakes. A prime example is the 2011 Tohoku earthquake that rocked Japan, killing an estimated 20,000 people.
Cascadia is seismically quiet compared to other subduction zones but is not completely inactive.
Research indicates the fault ruptured in a magnitude nine event in 1700, roughly 30 times more powerful than the largest predicted San Andreas earthquake.
Solomon said that fluid released from the fault zone is the first known site of its kind.However, he theorizes that similar springs could lurk nearby but are harder to detect from the ocean's surface.
A significant fluid leak off central Oregon could explain why the northern portion of the Cascadia Subduction Zone, off the coast of Washington, is believed to be more strongly locked, or coupled, than the southern section off the coast of Oregon.
Co-author Deborah Kelley, a UW professor of oceanography, said: 'Pythias Oasis provides a rare window into processes acting deep in the seafloor, and its chemistry suggests this fluid comes from near the plate boundary.
'This suggests that the nearby faults regulate fluid pressure and megathrust slip behavior along the central Cascadia Subduction Zone."

One of Russia’s most active volcanos erupted early Tuesday morning, launching a massive gray cloud into the air and coating nearby villages in a thick layer of ash.
The eruption of Shiveluch, a volcano on Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula, was not immediately reported to cause any deaths. But scientists say the fallout covered 41,700 square miles and prompted a code red warning for flights.
“The ash reached 20 kilometers [12.5 miles] high,” says Danila Chebrov, director of the Kamchatka branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Geophysical Survey, per Reuters. “The ash cloud moved westwards, and there was a very strong fall of ash on nearby villages.”
The Kamchatka Peninsula, a 140,000-square-mile area with a population of about 300,000 in Russia’s far east, has more than 300 volcanoes—including 29 that are active. The Volcanoes of Kamchatka, which are located along the Ring of Fire, are considered “one of the most outstanding volcanic regions in the world” and listed as a World Heritage site, per UNESCO.
With at least 60 eruptions during the past 11,700 years, Shiveluch is one of Kamchatka’s largest and most active volcanoes. Michigan Technological University volcanologist Simon Carn tweeted that the latest eruption was likely Shiveluch’s largest since the dawn of satellites.

Shiveluch began erupting just after midnight on Tuesday, dumping about three inches of ash on Klyuchi, the closest village, located about 30 miles away.
“The roads are completely terrible,” local resident Vera Mayorova tells Reuters. “It’s very difficult to take the kids to kindergarten. Pupils at schools are studying from home. It’s impossible to walk outside because of the ashfall.”
Residents also reported their tap water had turned ash gray in color, prompting authorities to deliver bottled water. The eruption was likely powerful enough to shoot volcanic material into the stratosphere, which could have a temporary cooling effect, writes New Scientist’s Madeleine Cuff.
Shiveluch’s eruption is far from the only natural disaster to strike the eastern Russian region in recent weeks. Just days ago, Bezymianny, another volcano about 60 miles from Shiveluch, spewed ash some 6 to 7.5 miles into the air in a smaller eruption that also prompted a code red flight warning. And about 24 hours after the start of the more recent eruption, a 5.8-magnitude earthquake shook the peninsula’s coast, which Russian scientists say was an aftershock from a quake that struck last week, according to Reuters.
The governor of Kamchatka, Vladimir Solodov, said mass evacuation was not necessary but explained on the messaging app Telegram that schools would switch to remote classes for the “duration of the aftermath of the disaster,” per Al Jazeera.
“As much as possible, stay at home,” he said, per the publication. “We are waiting for the forecasts of volcanologists monitoring the eruption to assess how long the ashfall will last.” '

As for seismic activity, the East Coast of the USA was struck by a VERY rare M4.5 earthquake on the last day of the warning for Delaware East Coast USA to be on watch for up to M4.5... the location hit is 450 miles away from my warned area (250 miles outside of my warned area).
New deep earthquakes have presented a significant chance of seismic increase in the next 7-10 days, and the locations hit fit perfectly with the warned areas from last week.
My forecast for Papua New Guinea turned out to be 1.5 magnitude under expected, which is good (m6.3 to M6.5 struck instead of M7.5 to M7.9) --- over 10X less power than expected.... now followed by new deep activity at m6.7 to m6.9 level right next to the warned area."

"It is go time. The spread of activity is now obvious yet once again, multiple M7+ earthquakes in the past few days, spreads of M5.0+ earthquakes developing in the warned areas of Japan, the Agean Sea, and South Sandwich Islands to name a few.
The West coast is on the move, both along the San Andreas as well as the California Nevada border. Expecting M5+ activity to hit up by Eureka, and a new spread near M4.9+ to hit Texas, and M4.5+ to spread into Oklahoma, also M4.0+ due in Virginia East Coast USA.

"Just as we were watching for, as mentioned in the past 2 updates, in light of the new solar storm arrival, to keep watch for a flurry of new deep earthquakes, and potential very large deep activity.
The large deep activity matters, since within 7-10 days of the large DEEP quakes, then we see shallower larger earthquakes up to 1 full magnitude larger than then original deep activity which struck to begin with.
Simply put, solar storms cause deep earthquakes by exciting the core of the planet, causing vibration of electrical very low frequency to come up.
The plate absorbs the electrical wave and a new deep earthquake along with it down below the plate.
Then the wave spreads up , out and away , and drops off shallower larger earthquakes as the wave goes from the fluid (magma) up into the solid plate.
Like an ocean wave crashing onto a rocky shore, the full potential of the energy is released upon impact down below the plate.
Once impact occurs, the wave spreads out and drops off equal sized quakes all the way along the way until it reaches equilibrium on the opposite side of the planet!

IDK what to tell you. NBC local meteorologist here in St. Louis Missouri confirmed on morning news this morning (May 5, 2023) that this is not a glitch or RADAR translation issue. That the storms really moved this way overnight from May 4th into sunrise on May 5th.

Since it is not a glitch (per the meteorologist on television), and it is not happening on other continents, I'm vexxed about all of this.
I have no prior examples of this to go on, and have never seen anything like this before.
Getting confirmation that this is not a glitch is what is prompting me to make this video now.
I don't know what (if anything) to watch out for after this. But since it falls under "RADAR anomalies" this is right up my alley when it comes to documenting and looking for anything to happen afterwards.
Best case scenario its some kind of oddity that has no effect afterwards. Worst case scenario the planet is wobbling out of the ordinary magnetically on one side of the planet (the USA side currently).
The antipode is worth mentioning.. which I show in this video ... it can't be chance that the antipode (opposite side of the planet) is the tip of the antarctic plate (starfort shape) which I've shown in several videos previously."

The warned area North of New Zealand was told to watch for up to M7.5 range earthquake activity this past week, the locations warned were from Tonga South past Fiji to the Kermedecs (North of New Zealand).
Today the expected M7.5-M7.6 earthquake struck North of New Zealand, North of the Kermedecs, North of Fiji, near Tonga on the Northeast tip of the Indo-Australian plate boundary.
Additionally, a spread of activity reached the East coast of the USA (East of Virginia out by Bermuda), and up to Maine / New Brunswick Canada on the far Northeast coast of the USA.
No M5.5 has struck California yet near Eureka, also NO M5.0 range in Texas yet .
Still watching North of Japan (Hokkaido to Kamchatka) for a similar sized M7.5 or M7 range quake (has not struck yet)."

Serious seismic unrest is set to take place over the next 7-10 days, coupled with the arrival of solar activity, things should take the next step up AGAIN on top of where we already are (currently as high as M7.5 this week, which means we should go the next step up from M7.5).
Japan is of particular concern, as well as Soloman Islands to the Kermedecs.
New watches issued for Japan, Indonesia, and the West Coast of the USA.
Japan on watch for a very large earthquake M7+
Sumatra Indonesia due for M6.5 to M6.9 range
Soloman Islands could see a very large earthquake M8+ in the next 7-10 days, but worries about Japan are also coming into focus as well.
West Coast USA California , Texas and Oklahoma, all due for noteworthy activity. Southern California M4.5+ due in the LA basin to San Diego. Texas (west texas) due for M5 and Oklahoma due for M4.5 just like Southern California).
All in all, its going to be a busy next 7-10 days it would appear. I sure hope I'm wrong, but right now things appear to be ready to roll.
