my comment - as everyone is saying.... this isn't going to go away and clearly failure to take corrective action threatens the success of the Trump Administration - people for and against Trump will not let this drop - so either some fulsome statements explaining everything should be brought out asap - (unless there is a solid reason for trying to drop it at least trmporarily...ie building cases against perpetrators...)

The concern that innocent people could get embroiled in revelations is a point that, explained, people could understand - BUT - only as a sticking plaster to delay the transparency that is demanded.... (IMO)...

There's a dense fog of anger and confusion all over DC right now, but this (posted above) does seem to have the air of attempted damage limitation.

Or a big distraction! Trump administration seems to think there's still a cult followship of Trump, and the way to steer the sheep away from the Epstein files coverup scandal is to dangle the Russian hoax & 2020 election fraud.

But the facts remain: there's a major cover of the fundamental problem with USA, which is that it is run by Israel, for Israel's benefit. Trump has made the USA complicit in the genocide of Palestinians. And Trump violated international law, and basic human decency when he bombed Iran's nuclear facilities even as negotiations were taking place, which could have caused dangerous radioactive leaks that would have rendered a wide region uninhabitable for decades. AND, Trump is still sending weapons to Ukraine. Etc.

The issues surrounding 2016 and 2020 elections have become irrelevant compared to the multiple crisis that the Trump administration has caused. Perhaps Dan Bongino (who is also lives in Florida now) will soon have a new job, one for which he's probably better suited, battling the dark side.
