More on the "mobilsation" issue from the Ukrainian 'Resident' Telegram channel via SIMPLICIUS The Thinker Ѱ
According to this Zelensky plans to announce the new draconian mobilizations, get all the meatfodder he needs, then whack 2 birds with one stone by blaming it all on Zaluzhny, throwing him under the bus and getting rid of him:
⚡️⚡️⚡️The Ukrainian TG channel "Resident" writes:
“Our source in the OP said that the President's Office wants to use the hatred of Ukrainians for the TCC (Commissars) against Zaluzhny, who personifies the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which means that all excesses in mobilization are his responsibility. Bankova is preparing a number of information campaigns that are supposed to discredit the commander-in-chief and then remove him "
They say that if you keep throwing people's anger at each other, one day it will catch up with everyone together. So eat each other up, be more active⚡️⚡️⚡️"

Re: WW3? Ukraine/US vs. Donbass/Russia
👆👉We urgently need meat to the front: Zelensky promises to accelerate mobilization, military commissars will be allowed to grab people on the street, check documents and serve summonses. Now only the police have this right.
▪️ Zelensky has also already announced changes in the course of mobilization towards tightening the conscription.
▪️ Secretary of the Rada Committee on National Security Roman Kostenko said:
“Now there are a lot of questions from the TCC (commissars) and from those citizens whom they are trying to mobilize. In fact, the TCC does not have any rights to stop a person, give him a summons, demand documents from him. The police sometimes distance themselves from this so as not to be at the center of a scandal, so as not to attract a person,” Kostenko said on Radio NV.
▪️ According to him, such an innovation will appear in the bill, which will be developed by the end of the year. Previously, it was announced by the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia.
▪️ Also, military registration and enlistment office employees will be able to make audio and video recordings of their communications with people. - Ukrainian sources

The latest updates from Simplicius' Garden of Knowledge regular weekend SitRep bulletin and I'm sharing the information pertinent to the ongoing Avdeevka battle.
There appears to have been a major drop-off in Ukrainian use of ammunition and shells, which may of course mean that they're out of stock or perhaps preserving it. Still the writing appears very much on the wall for now concerning them being able to hold Avdeevka for very much longer. Remember, the civilians in Donetsk City, and other settlements, will be grateful for either a full imminent cessation of shelling, or drastically much reduced bombardment.

SITREP 11/25/23: Major Avdeevka Breakthroughs as NATO Plans Forever War
26 NOV 2023
Now let’s briefly cover the most significant theater of Avdeevka.
As of today Russia has again made major significant advancements and breakthroughs here, one of which being unconfirmed for now, the other fully confirmed.
The confirmed is a major, total overrun of AFU positions in the Vinograd and Industrial sectors of southeast Avdeevka:
Some of the exact details are yet to be fully ironed out, like which specific areas are gray zone versus total RF consolidation. However, we have video confirmations of Ukrainian troops retreating up Yasynovsky Lane. This is being hailed as a particular triumph for the troops on the ground because, for the ones who’ve been there since the beginning, the industrial sector was considered one of the most heavily fortified areas that have withstood their assaults for going on a decade.
▪️ “The fact that our guys broke through the Vdyevka hole is a feat. I think I’m sure that this was the strongest part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ defense along the entire front line. The proximity of our positions to the enemy’s positions played an important role for us. However, this closeness was difficult for us. This has been an open wound since 2016, it has been going on. But we held out! And we went forward, broke through this important boundary! The opponent must understand the misfortune of his situation. Glory to the Russian soldier!” - Alexander Sladkov wrote earlier.
And another:
The Battle for Avdievka: Historic Liberation of the Yasinovataya-2 Industrial Zone (Situation at the end of November 25, 2023) A few hours ago, Russian fighters successfully cleared the last building in the Yasinovataya-2 industrial zone in the southern part of the Avdeevsky fortified area after several days of intense and bloody fighting.
Since 2014, the industrial zone had been under the control of Ukrainian forces. However, despite the fortifications and reinforcements, it is now completely under the control of the Russian Army.
This line holds not only symbolic significance but also has strategic importance as it is situated on a hill overlooking the southern outskirts of Avdeevka. The southern neighborhoods will be within range of fire from this line, further worsening the situation for the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine).
That’s right, here’s some maps of Avdeevka from the 2017 battle. Note the industrial area circled in purple below, and the blue markings showing AFU positions:
So the boys on the front find it almost surreal that they’ve finally broken through and sent the Ukrainians running from positions they’ve burrowed in for so long.
One take on what happens next, insofar as Russian objectives.
"After the capture of the Promka industrial zone the next objective for #RussianArmy would be the capture of the Vinogradniki quarries and farms from where they can monitor the Ukrainian movements in the forest zone, precisely the penetration into the urban zone will continue to be reduced by taking new parts of the Yasynovatskyi avenue from where to establish fire control over the lower part that divides the city. Simultaneously the Russian troops will seize the forest zone reaching the rear of the Ukrainian defenses along the H-20 in order to achieve the solid control over the Donetsk filtration station. However, as previously stated, the Russian advance will be difficult due to the large number of defenses in this forest zone and a collapse of forces is not expected as long as the northern front does not make progress."
One analyst said that Avdeevka will likely fall the same way as Bakhmut, i.e. not from the full closure of its cauldron but rather step by step, building by building, urban city fighting.
This may strike some as counterintuitive or outright perplexing, and it’s something I’ve treated long ago during the Bakhmut battles. But the fact is that assault troops usually find it much easier to fight in urban environments than the type of wide open fields necessary to ‘close the cauldron’. In those fields, just like in the open steppe between Klescheyevka and Ivanovske near Bakhmut, where Wagner had a lot of trouble and countless deaths, soldiers are extremely susceptible to drone surveillance and coming under various targeted fires.
In an urban setting you have the ability to advance behind a lot of cover, safely leapfrogging from one cover to the next; in a field, you don’t have that luxury. You’re forced to do the old armor congo line, which inevitably runs into mines and gets artilleried to hell.
That’s why there is a good chance that Avdeevka will fall by way of a double pincer squeeze not from Severne and Stepove, but rather from the southern industrial zone troops working their way up to connect with the troops who are entering the Coke Plant.
I foresee Avdeevka looking like this at its terminal phase:
AFU will occupy just the center portion as the sides collapse in on it.
So with that said, there’s now reports that Russian forces have in fact begun entering and lodging themselves into the Coke Plant. This is the one not fully corroborated yet, but some have it looking like this:
Only thing I can say is that it was already nearly a week ago that 100% video confirmation showed Russian troops lodged right at the gate at that northeastern tip. So it is believable that they’ve finally managed to breach into the gates and establish themselves perhaps in the first few buildings in that quarter.
Also, to the east—in that zone directly south of the Slag Heap—they have expanded and captured more territory southward.
However, I wouldn’t be surprised if this one area is fluid and the troops get kicked back out temporarily, as AFU is likely to try and mount a desperate counterattack to make sure no foothold is gained on factory grounds.
As evidence of some of the urgency we had a couple videos showing M2A2 Bradleys operating virtually on the AKHZ Coke Plant grounds.
(...)
In fact word has it now that Zelensky is scrambling 5+ broken and not-yet-reconstituted brigades to Avdeevka, from other hot zones to plug the gaps. Videos of Ukrainian troops complaining or outright mutinying have begun to appear as it begins to get increasingly difficult to resupply the garrison inside the city.
At the height of the 2014 coup in Ukraine, Washington's 'Maidan midwife' uttered a phrase that has held true ever since...
This week, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky - and his Western backers - celebrated the tenth anniversary of the start of the Maidan protests in Kiev. Of course, they led to a US-backed coup and, ultimately, the current conflict with Russia.
Zelensky tweeted:
"Ten years ago, we began a new chapter in our struggle. Ten years ago, Ukrainians launched their first counteroffensive. Against lawlessness and an attempt to rob us of our European future. Against unfreedom. Year after year, step by step, we make every effort to ensure that, among the other stars on the EU flag, which represents the unity of European nations, our star shines as well. The Ukrainian star."
Except that, in reality, it's been a full ten years now of "f**k(ing) the EU," as US State Department fixture Victoria Nuland was caught saying back then in a leaked conversation with then ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt.
"F**k the EU," she demanded. And, well, they sure did exactly that.
And it was no one-night stand, either. Instead, it has turned into a marathon, sadistic orgy on the EU people who are endlessly getting the shaft in this whole mess while the bloc's chief whip-cracker, unelected Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, tells Western Europeans to bend over and take the pain for Ukraine as she and her pals blow up their own economies with endless sanctions against Russia. Not to mention that her fellow Germans just sat there like a bunch of masochists while their own cheap energy supply got blown up.
"F**king the EU" for ten years straight has been good for her though, apparently. Von der Leyen said:
"Ten years of dignity. Of pride. Of striving for freedom. The cold winter nights of Euromaidan have changed Europe forever. Today, it is clearer than ever. The future of Ukraine is in the European Union. The future that the Maidan fought for has finally begun."
Meanwhile, speaking of masochists, Germany is currently panicking over money problems, largely as a result of selling out its own industry to the US-led agenda for Ukraine.
"The house is in flames," one member of the ruling coalition told Bloomberg.
Well, it could be a fire. Or it could be German Chancellor Olaf Scholz lighting some romantic candles while tweeting:
"10 years ago, the Maidan became a symbol of freedom, democracy and sovereignty. The courage of the Ukrainians will not be forgotten. Ukraine is part of Europe - and we stand by its side."
"This is an interesting development. These are allegedly "S-8L" which are laser guided variants of the standard S-8 unguided rocket fired by Su-25s, Mi-8s, etc., you know those rockets they loft into the air like MLRS.
If this agile 150km/h unmanned mini-chopper can bring a guided version of these to the frontline and act as a more maneuverable Bayraktar, it could be a game changer, particularly with the now attritioned and degraded AFU frontline air defense, which has mostly been pulled back to defend CNIs (Critical National Infrastructure)
⚡️Russia has shown unmanned Termit helicopters carrying three laser-guided missiles .
The drone was developed even before the SMO, and is probably at a high level of readiness. Its high-precision missiles can hit a distance of up to 6 km. The drone has a speed of 150 km/h and can stay in the air for up to 6 hours."

No it can't.
Just to harp on the figure of speech. If the game is "assault Russia", Napoleon and Hitler at least got their feet muddy. Edgar Zeluvius mostly just bombs civilians and obviously bigger flies than that have been well swatted. Again, little reminder, what happened to Paris and Berlin, nothing too genocidal at the hands of invading Russians. Kiev is not even that far away! And all they do is teach genocide against Russians. France and Germany at least had the semi-excuse of enlarging themselves and subordinating a strong competitor...it didn't work, but, at least it was a halfway normal idea.
The unmanned chopper is so small, I don't see any room for the pilot.
Precision makes a big difference with these weapons. So, yes, in that sense of the word, the weapon's effectiveness is tremendously increased here. Unless it can hurry up and strike a decisive blow at Avdeevka, it may not get a shot at glory. It would just be some inventory along a 1,200 km front that moves at its own pace.
The main fortified height that ate Donbass is history.
No doubt there is more, but that pretty much was the kitten kaboodle.
I'll take it as good news that one city can be relieved of some Fascist showering bombs on them. Now we will subscribe to an insurance policy that says it won't happen again.

What is known about the first destruction of a Ukrainian MiG-29 by the Lancet kamikaze drone
Ukrainian forces have targeted the Russian capital and multiple other locations in a coordinated drone attack, according to the mayor of Moscow and the Defense Ministry. At least 20 UAVs were intercepted over the Moscow, Bryansk, Kaluga and Tula regions early on Sunday, according to the official and the ministry.
“A massive drone attack was attempted overnight… The air defense forces shot down UAVs in the area of Naro-Fominsk and Odintsovo city district, en route to Moscow,” Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said on Telegram on Sunday morning. Another drone was reportedly shot down near Podolsk.
The drones caused no injuries or significant damage in Moscow, Sobyanin said, adding that the emergency services were responding to the incident and locating the debris.
However, in Tula a drone hit a residential highrise, slightly injuring one person, after being jammed and losing control, according to the local governor, Aleksey Dyumin.
The military claimed that yet another “attempted Ukrainian terrorist attack was thwarted” overnight, confirming that by 5am at least 11 drones had been intercepted over four regions southwest of the Russian capital. Two hours later, the military said another nine drones had been intercepted over the same regions.
Kiev has repeatedly used drone strikes in what Russian officials have described as “terrorist attacks” on civilian infrastructure, reaching as far as Moscow.
Earlier this month, a Ukrainian general in charge of UAV operations claimed that Kiev was gearing up for a massive drone bombing campaign against Russia this winter, as the fighting on the ground is expected to enter a lull due to harsh weather conditions.
On Saturday, Ukraine accused Russia of carrying out its biggest drone attack to date, with most of the targets located in the capital, Kiev. The Ukrainian Air Force claimed to have intercepted over 70 Russian drones overnight. Moscow has previously accused Kiev of vastly exaggerating its successes, and claiming to take down more munitions than Russia actually fires.
Ukraine's President Zelenksy has been making some big personal purchases in the form of luxury yachts ahead of his ouster into exile. Investigators discovered Zelensky's proxies have bought two luxury yachts totaling $75 million. Where did they get that money? The purchases were made through the same close associates Zelensky has used before to make proxy purchases of real estate and other luxury goods.
Ukraine SitRep: High Losses, Political Infighting, Blocked Borders
How many losses did the Ukrainian army have in its war against Russia.
We, so far, did not have any answer to that. The Ukrainian military has given no realistic account of its own losses while its claims of Russian losses are obviously exaggerated.
The Russia military is likewise giving no numbers for its own losses. But its daily reports give estimates of Ukrainian ones. These are currently around 650 per day plus/minus 200 depending on the intensity of the fighting.
Some western observers, foremost retired Colonel Macgregor, say that Ukraine's unrecoverable losses have exceeded 400,000 men. But he does not name his sources.
Now a new chapter in the war between the Ukrainian president Zelenski and the Commander in Chief of the Ukrainian army, General Zaluzny, may have given us an answer. Yesterday this news item found its way to the Strana news site (machine translation):
The commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, does not have a war plan for 2024, and therefore must resign. This was stated by Deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense, MP from Servant of the People Mariana Bezuglaya on her Facebook page, referring to a "non-public discussion" with the military.
"Yes, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could not provide a plan for 2024. Neither big nor small, neither asymmetrical nor symmetrical. The military simply said that they need to take at least 20 thousand citizens a month, " she writes.
Zaluzny has no plans for 2024 because there is nothing he can do about the upcoming defeat of the Ukrainian army.
Every time he urges to stop defending positions that can not be held, like Bakhmut and Avdeevka, the political leadership tells him use all reserves and to keep holding. Every time he urges to build strong defense lines and to retreat to them he gets overruled. There is thereby nothing, except one number, that he can plan for.
That number is the one of the irretrievable losses of the Ukrainian army is experiencing. Zaluzny needs 20,000 new men per month to replace the losses and to keep his army going.
Assuming that the number is an average estimate we can calculate that 20 months of war have cost the Ukraine some 660 losses per day for a total of some 400,000. Irretrievable losses are not only dead (KIA), missed in action (MIA), or soldiers who preferred to become prisoners of war of the Russian army (POWs). They also include the severally wounded people who will be unable to come back onto the battle field.
These numbers seem high but we continue to see more and more reports that point to extremely high losses:
Ivan Katchanovski @I_Katchanovski - 0:35 UTC · Nov 27, 2023 Adviser of Zelenskyy: There is now "terrible shortage" of artillery shells & "huge shortage" of mines and military personnel on frontline. He heard "scary numbers" that average age in some brigades is 54 & that 3 people remain in some companies out of 110 at start of the war. https://youtu.be/MqRNWdqzF7E?si=6EnJEa25zcK-6p-4&t=196
Storming Russian ditches when one's rare troops have an average(!) age of 54 is impossible.
There have been other report which, similar to the one above, speak of the heavy depletion of Ukrainian units:
Kotsyurba and Lysenko’s company began the summer with 120 men. It’s now down to around 20, including replacements. The rest are dead, wounded or have been transferred away from assault duties. The new faces are mostly over 40 years old, some in poor health.
That is no longer an army but a Volkssturm like forces which enlists grandpas and kids to do the fighting.
In response to the threat of firing Zaluzny some activists immediately threatened a coup (machine translation):
A well-known activist close to Western structures, the founder of the StateWatch organization, Alexander Lemenov, threatened Vladimir Zelensky with a military coup. He wrote about this on Facebook.
"What can we say about this style of communication? I don't have enough words to describe... they'll play out. We will lose more territory. But not all, far from all. And in Kiev, the government will really change, but not to the Russian one, but to the military one.
Zelenski was thus forced to intervene. He had to disavow the comments by the parliamentarian (machine translation):
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky disowned the statements of Maryana Bezuglaya , who made accusations against the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, and condemned her statements. The corresponding video message was published by the presidential representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Fyodor Venislavsky.
"Mariana Bezuglaya's appointment to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense may threaten the national security of Ukraine," Venislavsky said.
Meanwhile, Bezuglaya continues to bend her line.
She posted on Facebook a cartoon of a military man who swears that he doesn't know if there is an "offensive plan". She accompanied the picture with the following caption: "When the mines were "discovered" or "go, there are only a couple of p#dors"(c). The military sent them from the brigades now."
Probably, in this way, she wanted to express the idea that the Ukrainian command failed to correctly assess the enemy's forces and the difficulties that the APU will face during the offensive.
Unless the Pentagon and the Biden administration intervene Zelenski will fire Zaluzny within the next few weeks.
British 'experts' continue to push the Ukrainian army into conscripting younger men (machine translation):
The Armed Forces of Ukraine need younger soldiers, because the current average age of the military is too high. This is stated by Western military experts on the pages of the Financial Times newspaper.
According to experts, this is due to the fact that "the conflict has turned into small infantry battles on foot in trench systems," which require better physical fitness. At the same time, the average age of Ukrainian men fighting at the front and undergoing training in the West is 30-40 years.
Senior Research Fellow, Royal Joint Forces Institute Jack Watlin believes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine this year mobilized "disproportionately many older men," but now they need young people with greater endurance.
At the same time Director of the Polish analytical center Rochan Consulting Konrad Muzyka says that Ukraine cannot wage a war of attrition with the Russian Federation, since the Russian Federation has more equipment and soldiers. Kiev needs more prepared and trained troops.
Earlier the former British Defense Minister Ben Wallace had told Ukraine to draft younger soldiers.
But all these 'experts' ignore the severe problems with Ukraine's population 'pyramid':
The 20 to 30 year old men they want to draft are simply not there to be recruited in any decisive numbers.
There are also other issues that currently hamper the Ukrainian military. For more than two weeks Polish truckers, who previously had the dominant role in the European freight business, are blocking the country's borders with Ukraine. Thousands of trucks are stuck on each side with waiting times that are now exceeding two weeks.
That is because the EU gave the non-member Ukraine the privilege of doing business in Europe without having to adhere to its rules. The Ukrainians, with less costs, thus took over the Polish business.
The blockade of the border affects military as well as humanitarian goods. Soon the Ukrainian military will be starving of everything it needs for the war.
It's not only the truckers in Poland who are very nervous about a potential Ukrainian membership in the EU:
Polish farmers on Thursday blocked the Medyka border checkpoint with Ukraine, demanding subsidies on wheat and state-backed loans amid an influx of Ukrainian grain, Polish media reported. Protesters said they would block trucks from reaching the checkpoint between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. every day until Sunday, the IAR news agency reported.
The farmers want the government to subsidise the prices of wheat, extend state-backed loans due to the influx of grain from Ukraine, and keep the farm tax rates unchanged, according to news outlets.
On November 6, Polish truck drivers launched a blockade of the Hrebenne, Dorohusk and Korczowa checkpoints, demanding that the European Union reinstate permits for Ukrainian transport companies entering the bloc.
On Thursday, Polish transport companies announced that the protest at the Dorohusk checkpoint would be extended until February 1, Ukraine's Ukrinform news agency reported.
...
The Polish protests coincide with concerns in Ukraine that the European Union may not agree next month to launch formal accession talks for it to join the 27-member bloc, a key objective for Kyiv, according to the Reuters news agency.
It reported that prolonged protests and the resulting disruption to trade could affect Ukraine's fragile, wartime economy.
The price of motor vehicle gas (LPG), which is widely used to fuel cars, has surged 30 percent due to the protests, according to an industry analyst cited by Reuters.
Should Ukraine enter the European Union Poland will lose most of the agricultural and other development subsidies it is currently receiving from the EU. Those subsidies would then flow into the even less developed, low pay Ukraine. It is thus unlikely that Poland will agree to its membership.
Over the last days Ukraine, on top of the losses and political troubles, saw a record storm in the Black Sea accompanied by a serious drop in temperature. Thousands of households in south Ukraine and Crimea are without electricity. Snow is hindering all movements.

I haven't been on Reuters to verify this, and apologise in this instance for not providing the text in isolation from the tweet as it'd lose all context. Suffice to say, if actually accurate, that European countries seem to (perhaps) have largely lost the appetite to confront Russia quite as the managed perception may have had some to believe.
Dozens of source links shared to be found under above YouTube video!
Russia surprised itself with its power to withstand western sanctions, absorb all economic and military shocks the West tried to inflict on it, and has come out stronger than ever before from this tragic and unnecessary war. But neocons are still in denial. Well, military realities always win over delusional fantasies. Here's what we've learned about the abilities of what the West used to laugh at as a "gas station dressed up as a country." In this video I'm talking to Nicolai N. Petro, Professor of Political science at the University of Rhode Island. He is a great expert on Russia and Ukraine, and published just a year ago a wonderful work with the title, “The Tragedy of Ukraine: What Classical Greek Tragedy Can Teach Us About Conflict” (2023).
Text:
Putin: Our battle for sovereignty and justice is, without any exaggeration, of a national liberation nature. Because we are defending the security and well-being of our people, the supreme, historical right to be Russia - a strong, independent power, a country of civilization. It is our country, the Russian world, as it has happened many times in history, has blocked the way of those who claim today for world domination, for their exclusivity. We are fighting now for the freedom not only of Russia, but of the whole world. We openly say that the dictatorship of one hegemon - we see it, everyone sees it now - is getting decrepit. It has gone, as they call it, to pieces and is simply dangerous for others. This is already clear to the world majority. But I repeat - it is our country that is now at the forefront of the formation of a more just world order. And I would like to emphasize that no lasting and stable world order is possible without a sovereign, strong Russia.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine organized a crematorium at the bone burning plant in Konstantinovka (DPR) due to large losses
According to the Military Chronicle, the bodies of killed Ukrainian soldiers are brought to this facility from several directions - the flanks of Artyomovsk, Soledar, as well as from near Avdeevka, 40 km to the south.
In the spring of this year, for the uninterrupted operation of the bone burning plant, industrial refrigerators for storing corpses, as well as powerful multi-fuel generators, were installed in a separate building. To supply the plant, a train with fuel arrives at the Kondratievka railway station, 5 km to the north-west, every 10-14 days.
In order not to cause panic among the local population, the bodies of killed Ukrainian soldiers are transported to the plant in ordinary trucks without the “Cargo 200” markings.
Due to the uninterrupted operation and, presumably, the lack of working industrial filters in the plant's furnaces, there is a strong smell of burnt bodies in the area.
