Putin on Moscow Terrorist Attack: No One Will Be Able to Sow Discord in Russia 3 hours ago (Updated: 55 minutes ago)

In his speech, the Russian president expressed his condolences to the victims, declared a national day of mourning and vowed to fight international terrorism.

Russian President Vladimir Putin dubbed the attack on the concert hall a “bloody barbaric terrorist act that claimed the lives of dozens of innocent people," during his address to the nation.
The president expressed certainty that medics “will do everything possible and even the impossible to preserve the lives and health of the wounded."
Putin thanked everyone who helped save people during the attack, including paramedics and Special Force professionals, as well as ordinary people who volunteered to help.
Putin likewise declared March 24 a national day of mourning and stressed that anti-terrorist and anti-sabotage measures have been implemented in Russia to prevent further tragedies. Referring to the ongoing investigation, Putin said that four suspects of the terror attack have been arrested -“all those who shot and killed people – are detected and detained."

“They tried to flee and they were moving towards Ukraine where, according to preliminary data, there was a window prepared from the Ukrainian side for state border passing," he stressed.

Overall, 11 people have been detained and Russian security services are looking into the accomplice chain, trying to identify those who provided vehicles, planned escape routes and prepared weapon stockpiles.

“It is evident that we are facing not a meticulously and cynically planned terrorist attack, but rather a prepared and organized mass killing of peaceful defenseless people. The felons were purposely going to kill in cold blood, to shoot our citizens, our children. Like Nazis some time ago committed atrocities on occupied territories, they planned to stage a public execution, a bloody action aimed at instilling fear," Putin explained.

“Terrorists, murderers, abominations that do not have and cannot have nationality will meet their ill fate – retribution and oblivion. They have no future," Putin said.

"No one will be able to sow the poisonous seeds of discord, panic and feud in our multinational society," Putin concluded.

He urged people to avoid panicking and ethnic feuds in the multinational society.

Three children have died as a result of a terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall outside Moscow on Friday night, according to hospital data posted on the Moscow Region’s Health Ministry website.

At least five children were among those hospitalized after the massacre, officials have said.

Several witnesses say there were multiple families with their children among the Friday night crowd in the building when the shooting began.

“People carried their children in their arms. No one knew where it was safe at the time, there was this incomprehensible feeling of what could meet us in the hall, or on the street,” lawmaker Ayder Metshin, who was there for the concert, told RT.

A month ago (to the day!) at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Victoria "F the EU" Nuland promised they laid to Ukraine would allow the to "accelerate the asymmetric warfare that has been most effective" and that Putin is "sure to face some nasty surprises."

Nuland left her post as the Deputy Secretary of State 10 days prior to this video. Moscow civilians were killed today in an act of terrorism (asymmetrical warfare).

Ukraine and the West have resorted to false flag operations to persuade everyone that ISIS* was behind the terror attack in the Crocus City Hall concert venue near Moscow, said Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of Sputnik's parent media group Rossiya Segodnya.

The head of the media group stressed that the names and faces of the perpetrators are already known to authorities and that the terrorists gave everything away during interrogation.

“It immediately became obvious why US media were claiming in unison that it was ISIS," she said.

Simonyan explained that the perpetrators were chosen to carry out the attack in a manner that would allow the West to persuade the international community that ISIS was behind the attack.

“Basic sleight of hand. The level of a railway thimble-rigger," she added." It has nothing to do with ISIS. It's Ukrainians."

She added that the enthusiasm displayed by Western media when they tried to persuade everyone that ISIS was responsible even before arrests were made gave them away completely.

“This is not ISIS. This is a well-coordinated team of several other, also widely known, abbreviations," Simonyan concluded.

The shooting occurred on Friday evening in the Crocus City Hall concert venue just outside Moscow and was followed by a massive fire, claiming at least 143 lives.

In the hours following the attack, Western media insisted that radical jihadist organization ISIS was behind it, while Ukrainian officials also said that they had nothing to do with the tragedy.

However, suspects were detained in Russia's Bryansk region near Ukrainian border. According to the data provided by law enforcing agencies, they had a support base on the other side of the border.

Moreover, while Kiev rushed to deny its involvement into the shooting, Ukrainian secret services have a long track record of terror attacks on Russian territory, from shelling in the Belgorod region to assassinations of political scientist Daria Dugina and journalist Vladlen Tatarsky.

All four perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Crocus have been found and arrested. The most important information about them:

- They were detained in the Bryansk Oblast a few hours apart, they intended to cross the Russian-Ukrainian border, the militants had relevant contacts on the Ukrainian side, the FSB said;

- Putin noted that the perpetrators of the Crocus shooting were moving towards Ukraine, where a "window" had been prepared for them. A total of 11 people have been detained in connection with the terrorist attack;

- All the gunmen are foreign citizens, said Irina Volk, and clips of the interrogation of two of them were published by Margarita Simonyan @margaritasimonyan;

- One of them, a man born in 1998, arrived on 4 March from Turkey, where his documents had expired;

- He was offered to kill "whatever" people by unknown persons via Telegram, whose full names and surnames he does not know. He does not know their full names. The clients came to the militant a month ago through a certain preacher whose teachings he had studied. The price was half a million roubles;

- He received half the money on a card he lost in the forest, the clients provided them with weapons and they chose the location;

- The terrorist leader did not speak Russian, he lived in a hostel with his friend Mukhamad, and 10-12 days before the attack he met a certain Abdullah;
