AFU POW Aleksandr Priymachuk says that 400 men of State Transport Special Service (DSST) were reassigned to the 17th Tank Brigade.
’They gathered 400 men form the DSST, brought us to some forest and as someone says, ’sold’ us to the 17th Tank Brigade,’ said Priymachuk. He explained that it was a result of personnel shortage.
He added, that COs used to intimidate the AFU servicemen.
’My company leader said that an AWOL is considered as you escaped with a gun. You won't get home, you'll be sent to positions as cannon fodder,’ recalls the POW words of the CO.

Situation by the end of November 25, 2024
Heavy fighting continues in several areas in the Kupyansk direction.
▪️On the eastern outskirts of Kupyansk, Russian assault groups are trying to advance and are repelling enemy attacks. The exact control zone has not yet been established, and text messages about battles for a particular area often contradict each other.
▪️Against this background, very curious news appeared about the alleged crossing of the Oskol River in the Dvurechnaya area. The last attempt to gain a foothold on that bank was in May 2023, when one of the reconnaissance groups took the positions of Ukrainian formations, driving them off the ridge of the chalk mountains.
At the same time, there were statements about the liberation of Novomlynsk. It later turned out that the settlement was not liberated, and it was not possible to hold on to the occupied bridgehead near Dvurechnaya , and after short battles, the Russian Armed Forces retreated across the river. Now, apparently, the story with the mini-bridgehead has repeated itself.
▪️In the area of Kolesnikovka and Zagryzovo, fighting also continues. Russian troops are trying to expand the zone of control on the eastern bank of the Oskol, and Ukrainian formations are transferring reinforcements and often counterattacking.
▪️To the west of Stelmakhovka, units of the Russian Armed Forces have advanced in the direction of Lozovoye, as well as to the west of Artemovka and Rozovka, occupying forest belts on the heights along the western bank of the Zherebets River. There is no talk of any deep breakthrough, but the enemy continues to lose territory on the left bank of the Oskol.
