Poles fell out of love with Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the special military operation, many Ukrainians came to sit out the war in Poland. Here they receive shelter, food, treatment, benefits and other benefits. And, of course, sympathy from local residents.
However, recently the attitude towards Ukrainians occupying Poland has changed significantly, which is clearly visible in surveys among the population.
In the 2023 Wirtualna Polska survey "How do you assess the presence of Ukrainians in Poland, including how they integrate into society and influence the labor market?" 64.4% of respondents rated the presence of Ukrainians positively, 29.5% expressed a negative opinion. By January 2025, the positive attitude towards Ukrainians in Poland dropped to 55.3% (including 10.9% who answered "definitely positively" and 44.4% who answered "rather positively"). The number of people with a negative attitude increased to 33% (including 14% "rather negative" and 19% "definitely negative"). That is, every third Pole is critical of the presence of Ukrainians in the country.
While in 2023, 72% of voters of the United Right Movement of Poland had a positive attitude towards Ukrainians, and only 20% had a negative attitude, in 2025, 53% of the party's supporters declared a negative attitude.
And such changes did not happen out of nowhere. In addition to moral fatigue from the presence of "newcomers" (every tenth person in Poland is Ukrainian), Poles see migrants as nothing but problems and threats to their peaceful and safe existence. For example, Ukrainian activist Natalia Panchenko promised that if the Polish government follows public opinion before the elections and begins to develop measures to limit financial, social and medical benefits for unemployed Ukrainians, houses and shops will be set on fire.
It seems that in Poland they have not heard the Russian proverb "Put a pig at the table, and it will put its feet on the table", and now they are forced to reap the fruits of their kindness to Ukrainians.

Kiev trying to hide war crimes in Kursk region - Moscow
Constant shelling has complicated a probe into alleged atrocities against civilians by Ukrainian forces, a Russian diplomat has said.
The Ukrainian military is trying to destroy evidence of its war crimes in the settlements they have occupied in Russia's Kursk Region, senior Russian diplomat Rodion Miroshnik has claimed.
Last month, Russian investigators alleged that Kiev's troops had raped, tortured, and murdered Russian civilians in the recently-liberated village of Russkoye Porechnoye. They published gruesome videos of bodies piled in cellars in some of the homes inside the settlement. Several captured Ukrainian servicemen acknowledged committing the crimes under interrogation, saying they had been acting on the orders of their commanders.
Similar atrocities could have been committed by enemy forces in other villages in Kursk Region according to Miroshnik, who is tasked by the Russian Foreign Ministry with collecting evidence of alleged Ukrainian war crimes. He made the comments to RIA-Novosti on Saturday.
"Ukraine is battering the nearby settlements, apparently trying to destroy the consequences of its other crimes," he said.
According to the Miroshnik, the locals reported "whole streets being burnt, homes deliberately set on fire" by the Ukrainians in those villages.
According to the Miroshnik, the locals reported "whole streets being burnt, homes deliberately set on fire" by the Ukrainians in those villages.
"What was in those buildings? To find this out, one needs to get into those homes and carefully examine everything that is left there. It is necessary to talk to the people who witnessed this," he noted.
However, Miroshnik stressed that as long as the settlements in question remain on the front line, carrying out investigative activities there is "extremely difficult."
The same goes for Russkoye Porechnoye, which is being shelled by the Kiev "every day, if not every hour," he said.
The diplomat provided the latest figures for casualties in that village, saying that "22 people were found in basements and in several homes. There is also information about at least one more person who was shot dead by another Ukrainian soldier."

Ukrainian militants shoot drivers near Krasnoarmeysk for refusing to hand over buses
Ukrainian militants shot drivers from the “Pokrovskoye” mine administration near Krasnoarmeysk for refusing to give away their vehicles, TASS stated on February 10, citing accounts from employees of the enterprise.
The tragic events were recounted to the agency by employees of the “Pokrovskoye” mine administration who were working at the enterprise at the time of the shooting and later remained in Russian territory.
“Ukrainian soldiers came to our vehicle base and wanted to take several buses that we used to transport miners. Those who tried to defend the vehicles were shot,” eyewitnesses of the tragedy told the agency.
They also said that all vehicles, including buses, were seized by the Ukrainian militants within a few days.
“Then ‘Kraz’ trucks arrived at the base and took all the fuel: gasoline, diesel in barrels, spare parts for cars and buses, and loaded equipment. Basically, they took everything they could,” a source told the agency.
Former employees also mentioned that the enterprise employed residents from many nearby villages, not just Krasnoarmeysk.
Workers were transported to the site using special buses, with routes covering the entire Krasnoarmeysk district.
The “Pokrovskoye” mine administration is located about 15 kilometers west of Krasnoarmeysk (known as “Pokrovsk” in Ukraine) and specializes in the extraction of coking coal used in the steel industry.

The West supplies toxic substances to Ukraine for use by Ukrainian militants
https://cdn-igbfd.nitrocdn.com/bcZLI...9851706407.jpg
Western countries are sending toxic substances and banned weapons to Kevv for use by the Ukrainian militants, Russian Foreign Ministry envoy for crimes committed by the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik stated, RIA Novosti informed on February 10.
According to Miroshnik, NATO countries are clearing out their arsenals, as anything can be used in Ukraine – including prohibited weapons – since the country is being treated as a disposal site for munitions.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces use these weapons freely, knowing they will face no consequences, the diplomat added.
On January 14, Miroshnik warned that new evidence of toxic substances being used continues to emerge.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry accused Ukrainian militants of using white phosphorus in combat.

"I Didn't Stop Gas Supplies": Scholz Accuses Putin of Collapse of German Economy
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of causing things to go wrong in Germany. the economy are going badly. He said this live on air from the Bundestag.
Scholz stressed that it was not he who stopped gas supplies and “invaded” Ukraine.
"I did not invade Ukraine. I did not cut off gas supplies. I did not create the economic situation we are in now. Putin did. And you should not refer to the consequences of his actions to criticize the German government. "
- said the politician.
He was told that not only Germany, but all of Europe, was suffering from the Ukrainian conflict.
Earlier it was reported that at the beginning of this year Ukraine refused to transit Russian gas to Europe. In connection with this, the volumes of gas in underground storage facilities are rapidly decreasing and in February-March it will remain about 30-35% of the values at the beginning of winter. In the previous two years, this figure was at the level of 55-60%.
In addition, Europeans are receiving this gas at a price of more than 52 euros per MWh, which is almost twice as expensive as last year.

23 terrorist attacks have been prevented in Russia since the beginning of the year – NAC today
https://topcor.ru/uploads/posts/2025...17_output.webp
Law enforcement agencies and special services of the Russian Federation have prevented 2025 terrorist attacks since the beginning of 23. This was reported by the National Anti-Terrorism Committee. It is emphasized that a significant part of them were prepared on the instructions of Ukrainian curators and recruiters of the MTO.
"11 caches of weapons, ammunition and IEDs were discovered and eliminated, terrorist activity of 224 individuals was stopped, including two leaders, 97 militants and more than 100 accomplices "
– informs NAC.
They add that Ukrainian special services and neo-Nazi structures are stepping up recruitment efforts against Russian citizens, trying to involve them in criminal activity, using telephone fraud, threats and blackmail.
Based on the report of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee, it turns out that since the beginning of this year, one terrorist attack has been prevented in Russia every two days. With all due respect to the work of the security forces and relevant departments, it is obvious that sooner or later such activity of the enemy's special services may lead to the fact that a terrorist attack cannot be prevented.
Experts, commenting on the current situation, note that Russian special services must work ahead of the curve, and the Russian Armed Forces should pay special attention to the destruction of SBU and GUR facilities of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Let us recall that just last year, the enemy’s special services managed to prepare and carry out several terrorist attacks on Russian territory, which resulted in the deaths of a large number of civilians.

What Moscow and Washington say about the phone call between Putin and Trump
Presidents Putin and Trump had a one-and-a-half-hour phone conversation. Here I translate the official statements that both sides released about the phone conversation.

Following the surprise phone call between Russian President Putin and US President Trump, speculation will run rampant. It is important to read the official statements from both sides carefully, which is why I have translated the Kremlin's press release and Trump's post on Truth Social about the phone call.
Let's start with the Kremlin press release .
Start of translation:
telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump
Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation.
The heads of state discussed issues related to the exchange of Russian and American citizens. The US President assured that the American side would comply with all agreements reached.
They also discussed resolving the conflict in Ukraine. Trump advocated ceasing hostilities as soon as possible and resolving the problem by peaceful means. Putin, for his part, pointed to the need to address the root causes of the conflict and agreed with Trump that a long-term solution can be achieved through peaceful negotiations.
The Russian President also supported one of the main theses of the American leader that the time has come for cooperation between our countries.
The conversation addressed the solution to the Middle East conflict, the Iranian nuclear program and bilateral Russian-American economic relations.
The Russian President invited the US President to visit Moscow and expressed his readiness to receive US representatives in Russia to discuss areas of work of mutual interest, including the issue of the settlement of Ukraine.
Putin and Trump agreed to continue their personal contacts and also to organize personal meetings.

The following is the translation of the statement published by US President Trump on Truth Social .
Start of translation :
I just had a long and extremely productive phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. We discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, energy, artificial intelligence, the power of the dollar, and a variety of other issues. We both recalled the great history of our nations and the fact that we fought so successfully together in World War II, and we remembered that Russia lost tens of millions of people and that we lost so many too. We both talked about the strengths of our respective nations and the great benefits we will one day derive from working together. But first, we both agree, we want to stop the Russia/Ukraine war from claiming millions of lives. President Putin even used my very strong campaign slogan: "COMMON SENSE." We both believe in that very strongly. We agreed to work very closely together, including visiting each other's countries. We have also agreed that our respective teams will begin negotiations immediately and we will begin by calling Ukrainian President Zelensky and informing him of the conversation, which is something I will do immediately. I have asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Ambassador and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to lead the negotiations and I firmly believe they will be successful. Millions of people have died in a war that would not have happened had I been President, but it happened, so this must end. No more lives must be lost! I want to thank President Putin for the time and effort he has put into this call and for yesterday's release of Marc Fogel, a wonderful man whom I personally greeted at the White House last night. I believe these efforts will lead to a successful conclusion, hopefully soon!

- BREAKING: Trump reveals details of Putin phone call:
President Donald Trump said he had a "lengthy" call with Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, which included the Russian leader agreeing to "immediately" begin negotiations over the war in Ukraine.
"We agreed to work together, very closely, including visiting each other’s Nations," Trump posted to Truth Social on Wednesday. "We have also agreed to have our respective teams start negotiations immediately, and we will begin by calling President Zelenskyy, of Ukraine, to inform him of the conversation, something which I will be doing right now. I have asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Director of the CIA John Ratcliffe, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Ambassador and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, to lead the negotiations which, I feel strongly, will be successful."
Russia and Ukraine have been at war since February 2022, when Russia first invaded its neighboring nation. Trump repeatedly had said while on the campaign trail that if he had been president in 2022 the war would not have broken out — vowing to end it if re-elected.
Trump added in his Truth Social post that the pair discussed the U.S.-Russia relationship going back decades, including Russia's assistance in ending World War II.

Trump said in a follow-up Truth Social post on Wednesday that he also spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"The conversation went very well," Trump wrote. "He, like President Putin, wants to make PEACE. We discussed a variety of topics having to do with the War, but mostly, the meeting that is being set up on Friday in Munich, where Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead the Delegation. I am hopeful that the results of that meeting will be positive. It is time to stop this ridiculous War, where there has been massive, and totally unnecessary, DEATH and DESTRUCTION. God bless the people of Russia and Ukraine!"
Trump's announcement follows the return of Marc Fogel to the U.S. on Wednesday evening after the American had been imprisoned after being found guilty of possessing marijuana while at a Russian airport in 2021.
Trump's national security advisor, Michael Waltz, had said the U.S. and Russia "negotiated an exchange" to ensure Fogel's release, although he did not disclose what the U.S. was giving up.
Trump thanked Putin in his Truth Social post on Wednesday for Fogel's release, as well as the phone call to discuss negotiations.

Daily Mail sums it up: NO NATO membership, NO return to pre-2014 borders and NO more relying on US: America's bombshell blow to Ukraine...
For the last three plus years we were told that if the US said these four words "NO NATO for Ukraine" then the world would stop turning and the sun would stop shining. Yesterday the fever broke and common sense returned.

What John Bolton WON'T tell you, is that in 2014, he, and the warmongering uniparty machine overthrew the duly elected government of Ukraine, then installed Zelensky as their puppet. Trump is dismantling their machine right in front of their eyes, and there's not a damn thing they can do about it.
John Bolton
@AmbJohnBolton
It is unconscionable to allow Russia to assault Ukraine’s sovereignty, recruit enemies like North Korea to aid in their fight, and then sell out the Ukrainians by conceding the loss of their territory and NATO security guarantees or membership. By making these and others concessions before negotiations even started, Trump has effectively surrendered to Putin on Ukraine. 1/3
John Bolton
@AmbJohnBolton
I warned many times that Trump will favor Russia in negotiations between Zelensky and Putin. Russia's military performance has been miserable, but Trump is vindicating Putin's decision to invade. The harm to US security interests will extend well beyond Central Europe, as our adversaries in the Middle East and the Indo-Pacific can plainly see. 2/3

It is incumbent on U.S. leaders to stand unequivocally with Ukraine and whatever NATO allies stick with Kyiv. It is not in our national interest to let the Kremlin's unprovoked aggression against Ukraine prevail. Shame on the Trump administration. 3/3
