I would endorse the corrective viewpoint Rizotto puts forward here.
I think it would be a bit quick off the mark to describe what have been so far (necessarily) publicity stunts by Trump as “action”. All that has “happened” has been at the level of statements; and media reports, which certainly will not be accurate, will be distorted, and may be false.
This latest is another bit of PR; until we see what actually eventuates wrt Ukraine.
Thus far, I don’t see any serious realism wrt Russia from the DT administration. It does seem that DT wants to make “a deal” but he does not seem to appreciate that this will be a negotiation of surrender terms – and that Russia has much larger goals than a Ukr surrender (i.e. new global security and economic arrangements).
Further; we ought not to forget that Z is and always has been a puppet of the USA. He is in-place only because the US engineered a coup and installed/sustained the regime he inherited. Ukraine went to war and kept fighting only because the US wanted them to.
Consequently, especially given that Z is after all An Actor – it is far from impossible that this humiliation was done with Z’s complicity (whether willing or not – he is of course a puppet) and that it is part of some kind of exit-deal for him. Z was always going to be time-limited and expendable in his role – whether or not he realized it; and Z has (so says the media) feathered multiple luxury nests accordingly, to which he can retreat when the time comes.
I am so far completely unconvinced that the new DT administration has any genuinely positive strategy. So far, this frenzy of negative-destructive (Schadenfreude-inducing!) policies all looks to me just like a palace coup, office politics, a kind of civil war among the (all variously evil-motivated) oligarchs – replacing one lot of the baddies with another.
There is an analogous situation in Europe, in which the non-negotiable occupation of many/most European nations (and the UK) by large US military bases; is now being rhetorically re-described by Trump as the US military assistance that is now being withdrawn. The anger and angst of UK/ European leaders at this “liberation” from US control, is simply that they are Quislings who owe their position to being (at the bottom line) underwritten by the US military.
We also need to realize that for Trump (as opposed to Biden) Ukraine is a sideshow; and therefore watch carefully what actually happens in the Middle East, since DT’s major backers have their major stake in that region. I am waiting to see how DT is compelled to pay back the debt incurred by this essential support for the non-sabotage and actual awarding of the election to DT, and the (otherwise astonishing) feebleness of consequent opposition to his becoming President.
The new lot in charge may be less bad than the previous gang, in terms of wanting greater US functionality; or maybe they are just bad but in a different way – such as wanting to rebuild a more efficient and effective totalitarianism in The West?

I certainly agree in an ultimate sense. It depends how deep you go.
But some nations and their leaders have considerably more autonomy and agency than others. Some are active units, to some extent; whereas others (the puppets) are more like middle managers, and merely implement decisions that are handed-down to them.
For me, all life including all politics is ultimately a manifestation of the spiritual war of this world; between the side of God the creator, and the side that is against God and creation.
But in the Western politics (especially geopolitics) of 2025 that we observe and have reported in the mass media and official sources - All the participants are on the anti-God side, and the powerful among them do not make even a pretence fundamentally to be guided by religious-spiritual motivations. Quite the opposite!
Whether we see ourselves as "God's Army" or as focussed in prayer and energy, if we don't go all the way, none of this get's fixed, it will only be like a divorce and re-romancing another faithless marriage.Quote:

They insisted for decades to expand NATO toward Russian border we know and US was/is with that... they were running over 40 laboratories in Ukraine... bioweapons.. child trafficking.. etc.. and not yet in public exposure... Trump and Co... why do not expose about that NOW????
US and allies.. / crazy Boris / also prevented Ukraine from signing already agreed peace treaty with Russia in Istanbul.... specially US kept loading Ukrainians as Israel with weapons and money so that they wouldn’t stop fighting Russians... etc.
Now that Ukraine is very much beaten and destroyed... I am so sad about average people... I know one Ukrainian opera singer, came in Slovenia with their family... mother and father are there...
Ukrainians alone are now in need of a lot of resources to rebuild... but US wants to come in... and steal those very much needed resources...
Am I wrong by calling this kind of behaviour satanic.... I really don’t think so!

I see your comment regarding 'stealing resources' and raise you that the world return all the financial resources Americans have provided in the past; to include all of the expenses of rebuilding after wars.
An ungrateful world continues to make its demands on America's sons and daughters for nary an opportunity to make her whole after the fact. They are so willing to take while Americans have been so willing to give.

His view is that the minerals deal is just a secondary string; that this was a deliberate ambush to expose Zelensky for who/what he is following the recent barbs sent Trump's way. President Trump has made this claim on a number of occasions - including when he hosted France's President Macron in the White House this week.
Short answer: Figures suggest the actual spend is much lower.
BBC Verify can find no evidence to back up the claim. There are different calculations on US spending in or related to Ukraine - and they produce a much lower figure.
The Kiel Institute is a German-based think tank tracking support going into Ukraine. It calculated that the United States spent $119.7bn (Ł94.3bn) on aid between January 2022 and December 2024.
Others have reached a higher figure - but with a broader definition of what counts as spending on Ukraine.
The US Department of Defense has provided a figure looking at all spending on Operation Atlantic Resolve - a response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
It says $182.8bn has been "appropriated" - a figure that covers US military training in Europe and replenishment of US defence stocks.
Either way, both figures are considerably lower than claimed by the president.
We asked the White House about the basis for the $350bn claim. So far, it hasn't provided an explanation...
