Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell: the whole story so far
Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire that owns a small island near St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and has been in the news for years as a purveyor of underage sex slaves to the elites, was arrested today and charged with sex trafficking. He, his Little Saint James Island, and his partner in crime, Ghislaine Maxwell, are connected to Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Alan Dershowitz and many, many others. The mainstream media seemed quick to announce his arrest.
From the New York Times:
Jeffrey Epstein, Billionaire Long Accused of Molesting Minors, Is Charged
Mr. Epstein, who was charged with sex trafficking, had avoided federal charges a decade ago in a widely criticized plea deal.
Jeffrey E. Epstein, a billionaire New York financier long accused of molesting dozens of girls, was arrested on Saturday and charged with sex trafficking by federal prosecutors, an extraordinary turn of events in a long and sordid criminal case.
Two people with knowledge of the charges said on Saturday night that Mr. Epstein had been arrested in the New York area and was in federal custody.

Two more links if you are not familiar with the Epstein story:
In 2015, one of his former underage sex slaves, a woman named Virginia Roberts pressed charges against him. She identified one of the men whom Epstein forced her to have sex with as Prince Andrew. Many other names came out. The Guardian has a good summary of Epstein's legal issues as of that time:
Jeffrey Epstein: inside the decade of scandal entangling Prince Andrew
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jan/10/jeffrey-epstein-decade-scandal-prince-andrew
NY Post reports that flight manifests show Bill Clinton visited Epstein's island 26 times. Virginia Roberts had seen him there but said she never saw him do anything improper. Epstein was also friend with Donald Trump and frequently visited him at Mar-a-Lago.

Thank you so much for creating this thread and posting this important important information Kryztian. If you had not created this thread I would not be as informed as I am now.
I turned on my radio after reading this thread and the BBC mainstream news are broadcasting this recent development.
It is good to see the federal authorities doing their job at long last :clapping:

Billy, I am usually not that informed either! I rarely listen or read the mainstream news, other than Russia Today. However, I was searching for info at google.news.com and THIS WAS THE #1 STORY! I think it has a lot of implications although I am not sure what they are yet. I hope this story stays front and center and people start asking how a current and a past president and British royalty have such strong ties with this person.
Re: Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell: the whole story so far
Three days before his arrest, this story came out in Forbes magazine:
Jeffrey Epstein Documents Could Expose Powerful Politicians, Businessmen
https://www.forbes.com/sites/lisette...g#6088a0915ac9
Topline: A federal appeals court Wednesday ordered that 167 documents in a lawsuit that alleges famously well-connected financier Jeffrey Epstein participated in a sex-trafficking ring should be unsealed—and that many of his powerful friends could be named. - In its 27-page decision, the court cited the public’s right to access the case information outweighed the privacy of certain individuals, “including numerous prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, foreign presidents, a well‐known Prime Minister, and other world leaders.”
- Virginia Guiffre (formerly Virginia Roberts) filed the lawsuit against Ghislane Maxwell, alleging that she had used her as part of a sex trafficking network of underage girls to Epstein and a number of his famous friends, including his lawyer Alan Dershowitz and Prince Andrew. Both men denied the accusations.
- Dershowitz has supported unsealing the documents, according to the Daily Beast.
- The documents will not be immediately available, as anonymous individuals involved in the case have two weeks to file appeals.
- The court advised the documents be read carefully. “We therefore urge the media to exercise restraint in covering potentially defamatory allegations, and we caution the public to read such accounts with discernment,” wrote the court in its decision.
Key background: Epstein had previously been charged in 2007 in a 53-page indictment. As the Miami Herald revealed in its investigative series “Perversion of Justice,” Epstein managed to escape all federal charges through a plea deal that gave him and all of his coconspirators immunity, with all documents being sealed. Epstein ended up pleading guilty to one state prostitution charge in Florida. He then registered as a sex offender and paid unspecified restitution to three dozen victims identified by the FBI.
The contentious plea deal was orchestrated by U.S. attorney Alexander Acosta, now President Trump’s secretary of labor. The Miami Herald’s reporting prompted calls for Acosta to resign, but he has remained in his Cabinet post.
In February, a U.S. district judge determined federal prosecutors, including Acosta, broke the law by failing to notify victims before Epstein pleaded guilty to the Florida prostution charge. That decision could potentially nullify Epstein’s plea deal, opening him up to new federal charges. But prosecutors are challenging this ruling.

Re: Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell: the whole story so far
If this is true, let's hope that the net is spread far and wide.

Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was arrested for allegedly sex trafficking dozens of minors in New York and Florida between 2002 and 2005, and will appear in court in New York on Monday, according to three law enforcement sources. Saturday's arrest by the FBI-NYPD Crimes Against Children Task Force comes about 12 years after the 66-year-old financier essentially got a slap on the wrist for allegedly molesting dozens of underage girls in Florida.
For more than a decade, Epstein’s alleged abuse of minors has been the subject of lawsuits brought by victims, investigations by local and federal authorities, and exposés in the press. But despite the attention cast on his alleged sex crimes, the hedge-funder has managed to avoid any meaningful jail time, let alone federal charges.
The new indictment—which, according to two sources, will be unsealed Monday in Manhattan federal court—will reportedly allege that Epstein sexually exploited dozens of underage girls in a now-familiar scheme: paying them cash for "massages" and then molesting or sexually abusing them in his Upper East Side mansion or his palatial residence in Palm Beach. Epstein will be charged with one count of sex trafficking of minors and one count of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of minors—which could put him away for a maximum of 45 years. The case is being handled by the Public Corruption Unit of the Southern District of New York, with assistance from the district's human-trafficking officials and the FBI.
Several of the billionaire's employees and associates allegedly recruited the girls for Epstein's abuse, and some victims eventually became recruiters themselves, according to law enforcement. The girls were as young as 14, and Epstein knew they were underage, according to details of the arrest and indictment shared by two officials.
Epstein's attorney Martin Weinberg declined to comment when reached by The Daily Beast on Saturday night. The SDNY also declined to comment.
“It’s been a long time coming—it’s been too long coming,” said attorney David Boies, who represents Epstein accusers Virginia Roberts Giuffre and Sarah Ransome. “It is an important step towards getting justice for the many victims of Mr. Epstein’s sex trafficking enterprise.
“We hope that prosecutors will not stop with Mr. Epstein because there were many other people who participated with him and made the sex trafficking possible," he told The Daily Beast.
In an era where #MeToo has toppled powerful men, Epstein’s name was largely absent from the national conversation, until the Miami Herald published a three-part series on how his wealth, power and influence shielded him from federal prosecution. For years, The Daily Beast has reported on Epstein’s alleged abuse, and his easy jail sentence and soft treatment by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, which ultimately scrapped a 53-page indictment against Epstein. An earlier version of Epstein’s plea deal included a 10-year federal sentence—before his star-studded lawyers threatened to go to trial in a case prosecutors feared was unwinnable, in part because Epstein’s team dredged up dirt on the victims, including social media posts indicating drug use.
Meanwhile, the financier flitted among his homes in Palm Beach, New York City, and the Virgin Islands, as well as his secluded Zorro Ranch in Stanley, New Mexico, transporting young women on his private jet to facilitate the sexual abuse that’s gone unchecked by authorities, his alleged victims say.
In an announcement planned for Monday the FBI is expected to provide a number for other victims to contact the SDNY.
Re: Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell: the whole story so far
He deserves jail at the very least, although much worse in my opinion. As happy as I am to see something like this I really don't have much faith left in any criminal justice system and I wonder how this will play out. He has so much potential dirt on so many people that it's easy to see how he was protected all these years so I wonder what changed.

The attached article is dated today, but the part where there is an explosion and fire is dated January 5, 2019, so it is a bit confusing.

Is the "little black book" released a few years back online in full anywhere - just interested to see who might be expecting a nock on the door in the next few weeks and who they will spill on !
Could get messy if they fully expose the depravity.

Conspiracy of Silence (The Franklin Cover-up Scandal) is a 56-minute unreleased documentary film produced by Yorkshire Television in 1994. The subject of the film is an alleged child sexual abuse ring involving a number of prominent Nebraska persons, including Lawrence King, an Omaha banker, political fundraiser, and convicted felon. The documentary was scheduled for broadcast in the United States on cable outlet Discovery Channel on May 3, 1994. However, it was never aired. Proponents of the film claim that it was withdrawn due to political pressure; neither Yorkshire Television nor Discovery Channel commented officially on why it was not aired.

It seems to me that Jeffrey being finally under the spotlight of justice, as well as being alive is a dangerous threat and impediment to the ongoing machinations of other key players. My guess, his days are numbered... N
