Here is a song with a particularly touching message:
Elektra warns her mother, Klytemnestra, who has murdered her husband and Elektra’s father Agamemnon, that she will be slaughtered herself to atone for the murder.
Sorry to go off target for a moment, stumbled across an old Guns n Roses song - Civil War, looked up the lyrics and was impressed that a band of that ilk could pen this
Lyrics
Look at your young men fighting
Look at your women crying
Look at your young men dying
The way they've always done before
Look at the hate we're breeding
Look at the fear we're feeding
Look at the lives we're leading
The way we've always done before
My hands are tied
The billions shift from side to side
And the wars go on with brainwashed pride
For the love of God and our human rights
And all these things are swept aside
By bloody hands time can't deny
And are washed away by your genocide
And history hides the lies of our civil wars
D'you wear a black armband
When they shot the man
Who said "peace could last forever"
And in my first memories
They shot Kennedy
I went numb when I learned to see
So I never fell for Vietnam
We got the wall of D.C. to remind us all
That you can't trust freedom
When it's not in your hands
When everybody's fightin'
For their promised land
And
I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war
Ow, oh no, no, no, no, no
Look at the shoes you're filling
Look at the blood we're spilling
Look at the world we're killing
The way we've always done before
Look in the doubt we've wallowed
Look at the leaders we've followed
Look at the lies we've swallowed
And I don't want to hear no more
My hands are tied
For all I've seen has changed my mind
But still the wars go on as the years go by
With no love of God or human rights
'Cause all these dreams are swept aside
By bloody hands of the hypnotized
Who carry the cross of homicide
And history bears the scars of our civil wars
I don't need your civil war
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
I don't need your civil war
I don't need your civil war
Your power hungry sellin' soldiers
In a human grocery store
Ain't that fresh
I don't need your civil war
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no uh-oh-uh, no uh-oh, uh no
I don't need one more war
I don't need one more war
No, no, no, no uh-oh-uh, no uh-oh, uh no
Whaz so civil 'bout war anyway?

It's About Time we had Big Disclosure.
Only been 80 Years.
Do we have to Wait another 80 Years ?
Couldn't help laughing at this one.
Surprised they have left it up on youtube!
Anyone listened to Tomas McDonald ?
Here is his channel

This music in particular
Interesting guy, it is hardcore rap for many, he seems to have no strings attached to anything, doing on his own, but that I would have to dig more to know.
Anyway strong message, specially about Covaids.
There is quite a lot of old folks listening to him.. he got appreciated by the elderly instead of the young people.

First Man: I think, I think I am, therefore I am, I think.
Establishment: Of course you are my bright little star,
I've miles
And miles
Of files
Pretty files of your forefather's fruit
and now to suit our
great computer,
You're magnetic ink.
First Man: I'm more than that, I know I am, at least, I think I must be.
Inner Man: There you go man, keep as cool as you can.
Face piles
And piles
Of trials
With smiles.
It riles them to believe
that you perceive
the web they weave
And keep on thinking free.
Brave New World
Close your eyes and sleep
Ignore all the burdens that you keep
Come whatever may
They could never harm you anyway
Stirrings in the wind
Resonates a whisper from within
Warnings from afar
Telling you to heed the morning star
Waking from the dream
Witnessing the smoke that's rolling in
The end is what you fear
The scent of embers lingers in the air
It's like a web there is no escape from
It's got you trapped and you long for freedom
Every wish every dream was granted
Never knowing what they demanded
You see the wall how it's getting higher
You want to fight but you're all divided
It's not a world anyone can thrive in
Is this the world we were meant to grow in?
Somebody tell me where are we going?
A brave new world will rise
If we do not act upon its lies
Hold your tongues no more
Learn from all the ones who came before
Catch the wind and fight the storm
Through the fury we're holding on
Take your time but not too long
Make it worth the time you own
You woke a fire inside of me
Fanned the flame and made it breathe
You woke a fire inside of me
Inside of me
Inside of me
I posted a little piece of my own in the techno music thread a few days ago that may fit the theme of this thread.

IS there a thread with only Avalon members creativity? songs, art, writing, poetry etc?
Harmony's thread Creativity to Inspire and Transform might be the closest, Doug. Many creative endeavors by members have been posted there already.
Thank you for sharing, this HK song was a revelation and a big success in France on social networks in the middle of covid :heart2: :facemask:
Dancing Again lyrics by HK
We want to continue to dance again
See our thoughts embrace our bodies
Spend our lives on a chord chart
Oh, no no no no no
We want to continue to dance again
See our thoughts embrace our bodies
Spend our lives on a chord chart
We are birds of passage
Never docile nor really wise
We don't pledge allegiance
At dawn in all circumstances
We come to break the silence
And when in the evening on TV
Mr good king has spoken
Came to announce the sentence
We show disrespect
But always with elegance
We want to continue to dance again
See our thoughts embrace our bodies
Spend our lives on a chord chart
Oh, no no no no no
We want to continue to dance again
See our thoughts embrace our bodies
Spend our lives on a chord chart
Auto-metro-work-consumer
Automatic certificate that we sign
Absurdity on prescription
And woe to him who thinks
And woe to him who dances
Every authoritative measure
Every whiff of security
See our confidence fly away
They are so insistent
To confine our consciousness
We want to continue to dance again
See our thoughts embrace our bodies
Spend our lives on a chord chart
Oh, no no no no no
We want to continue to dance again
See our thoughts embrace our bodies
Spend our lives on a chord chart
Let's not be impressionable
By all those unreasonable people
Fear sellers galore
Distressing, to the point of indecency
Let's keep them away
For our sanity
Social and environmental
Our smiles, our intelligence
Let's not be without resistance
The instruments of their madness
We want to continue to dance again
See our thoughts embrace our bodies
Spend our lives on a chord chart
Oh, no no no no no
We want to continue to dance again
See our thoughts embrace our bodies
Spend our lives on a chord chart
Thanks for sharing the lyrics, Lunesoleil. And I loved the video above. What a great movement that song was for France in the heart of covid. So full of uplifting human spirit. THAT is the kind of protest we need more of everywhere.
It was great how more and more people were inspired to remove their masks as the music went on.
Thank You Carlitos.
I read the lyrics from your song above, and see it as another song of strength and spirit.
"I am very happy
So please hit me
I am very, very happy
So come on, hurt me
I'll grow back like a starfish
I'll grow back like a starfish
I'll grow back like a starfish
I'll grow back like a starfish"
Our inner spirit... they can't take that away from us!
And we shall stay strong.
"The kids couldn't hurt Jack
They tried and tried and tried
They dropped things on his back
And lied and lied and lied and lied and lied
But they couldn't stop Jack, or the waters lapping
And they couldn't prevent Jack from feeling happy"
You better think (think)
Think about what you're trying to do to me
Think (think, think)
Let your mind go, let yourself be free
Let's go back, let's go back
Let's go way on, way back when
I didn't even know you
You couldn't have been too much more than ten (just a child)
I ain't no psychiatrist, I ain't no doctor with degrees
But, it don't take too much high IQ's
To see what you're doing to me
You better think (think)
Think about what you're trying to do to me
Yeah, think (think, think)
Let your mind go, let yourself be free
Oh, freedom (freedom), freedom (freedom)
Oh, freedom, yeah, freedom
Freedom (freedom), oh, oh freedom (freedom)
Freedom, oh freedom
Hey, think about it, think about it
There ain't nothing you could ask
I could answer you but I won't (I won't)
But I was gonna change, but I'm not
If you keep doing things I don't
You better think (think)
Think about what you're trying to do to me
Oh Lord, think (think)
Let your mind go, let yourself be free
People walking around everyday
Playing games, taking scores
Trying to make other people lose their minds
Ah, be careful you don't lose yours, oh
Think (think)
Think about what you're trying to do to me, ooh
Think (think)
Let your mind go, let yourself be free
You need me (need me)
And I need you (don't you know)
Without each other there ain't nothing people can do, oh
Oh, hey, think about it, baby (What are you trying to do me)
Yeah, oh baby, think about it now, yeah
(Think about forgiveness, dream about forgiveness)
Think about forgiveness
Think about it, baby, baby
Think about forgiveness
Think about forgiveness
Think about forgiveness

This one was from Bush Jr. days, what with derivatives, bail-outs, The Patriot Act, etc. Sadly, Ron Paul never stood a chance.
But I did like the song.
