Avalon Members who have had NDEs ??
Hello all. I have an increasing interest in NDE and I was wondering who on P Avalon has had one and would be willing to share it?
Even a close friend or family member?
I have met several people who have, and I am going to ask them to join P Avalon
Perhaps they would feel more at home if others here posted theirs?

Re: Avalon Members who have had NDEs ??
I've been researching NDEs for the last 2-3 years.
Although I don't have an NDE to share.
I did share my mother's DE when she passed away back in 2007. An interesting story. After her DE she is always around the house and likes to click our kettle. (Click = sounds exactly like switching it on). We had several kettles over the years and she still manages to click each one of them.
Sometimes even to the conversation that we're having at the time. As if prompting. We always assume it's a yes. A really interesting phenomenon.
Even our friends witness these strange kettle clicks.
To me it's a confirmation she is around and doing her rounds.
Cheers,
Szymon
Re: Avalon Members who have had NDEs ??
Szymon. so theres definitely a change in the house since she passed over ? the kettle , is it meaningful? I feel that beyond whatever the thing, the sound or effect, its your feeling, your intuition that confirms it. you know its your mom.
Re: Avalon Members who have had NDEs ??
A coworker of mine told us (there were 3 of us) of a car accident he was in, saw the light and his Uncle came to him and guided him saying it wasn't his time and suggested he go back. The one other guy with me kind of brushed it off as "another story" and didn't think much of it. I was fascinated though but didn't probe further, sensing it would have possibly embarrassed him. When he's back to work (he's off getting hernia surgery) I'll test the waters a bit and see how open he is in sharing more detail.
Not sure if I shared this before but my Aunt was driving one day by herself and was crossing a divided highway to go left. She heard a loud voice say "Jo!" (Her name's Joanne), looked and saw a car coming then hit the brakes just in time. My Aunt, who's amazing and lights up everyone around her, then heard it say "that's the only time I can do this". She sensed it was indeed her Mom who had just passed a few weeks prior.
NDE stories fascinate me to no end and always have.
Re: Avalon Members who have had NDEs ??
Although not an NDE proper, I get the feeling that some sleeping-dreams are a kind of window to my inner state/status.
I often dream difficulties, quests that involve moving — mostly (or all?) in vehicles — with a definite goal in mind, gathering my possessions with the purpose to GTFO, and encounters where it seems my judgement is tested regarding base, or basic, things like appropriateness of sensuality or aggression.
I have heard that that our souls leave our body during sleep, not necessarily on walkabout/floatabout, but to somewhere where a personal lesson can be learned. I have brought back lessons and successfully practiced them irl., but no solution yet to the gathering and leaving.

Yes, it's mom alright. I will provide more context. So at the time of her passing over, she was boiling water in the kitchen and forgot to close the lid on the plastic 2L kettle. So when the kettle approached its boiling temperature the top lid popped up and all that hot pressure escaped. Then the lid went back down and it repeated the whole process, eventually, there would be no more water in the kettle and it would have burnt itself out. Luckily she was found by another family member who just came back from an afternoon work shift, who then switched the kettle off and called the Ambulance, followed by the Police.
During that day and the next day, my brand new car did not work properly, sounded like something was wrong with the gears, it sounded really really bad. At one point I thought that I had to call a tow truck, and then miraculously the car started working again and no more gear sounds.
Also the next morning after her passing. I was doing a meditation and was mentally telling her to go to the white light. I had this idea to visualise the white light and mentally tell her to go to the white light. After this particular session, one of my eyes started seeing this pure white-like fluorescent light. Like an overlay, it was weird, one eye could see the physical reality which was my lounge room and the other eye had total white light. I thought to myself maybe the third eye is opening. I was a heavy meditator back then 1-2 hours a day. This continued for about 7 minutes and then it diminished and I could see with both eyes. This never repeated itself.
About 3 months later we booked a session with a clairvoyant/medium and really didn't expect much nor say anything to her. When the clairvoyant did my session, halfway through the session, she said to me why am I picking your mother? Did she pass over? I concurred, and then she started telling me everything about her that only I would have known.
She also said that she will travel with me and watch out for her signs.
Going back to those kettle clicks this also happens over my father's house, but he usually doesn't talk about it. He casually mentioned it to me after her passing.
The above happened in Australia, and then 9 months later I moved to Europe. When I was in Poland, I started noticing these kettle clicks, at first I really didn't pay attention, it was like something to do with the electricity.
Then I moved back to Australia and started noticing the same kettle clicks. I moved 5 times since then, went through 3-4 kettles and all of those kettles clicked, the funny thing about these clicks is that each kettle has a different click tone. I just replaced one recently and I said to my wife. I wonder if Mum is going to click this new one, and then a couple of days later we heard this faint click, and now it's a nice solid click. It's like she had to adjust her energy or something.
Recently my wife started watching NDEs and she found it interesting. I started watching these too and found out that people have shared experiences when someone passes over. I think we binged watched everything under the sun regarding the DEs and NDEs.
It's a fascinating topic.
Recently, my uncle passed over and in the first and second week of him passing over. I kept on finding money, bank notes to be exact.
One of the weirdest places was when I was digging in my garden at the back of the house. I was replacing my fence and had to dig out the dirt for the fence posts and other bits, and I look in the dirt and there was a 10-dollar Australia note. I knew straight away it was a sign from my uncle just an inner feeling. Then it happened again in various locations mostly public places. In total, it was about 25 dollars.
Usually, when someone passes over look out for signs from that person. It could be anything to do with that person.
Cheers,
Szymon

Interesting post thanks Szymon...
Re bolded above.... I wonder if it's the bimetallic strip in the thermostat mechanism that your Mom is managing to click in some way... (shades of Uri Geller metal bending :) )
There's a pic of the kettle part on this (random) link...
Just a thought...

Hey Jaybee,
Thanks for the reply. I had a look at the video and I think you're right. There were many times when I was washing the dishes and heard the kettle click. I was right next to it and did not see the button move, only hear the click. So maybe she doing telekinesis on that little piece of metal. I've highlighted it in yellow below.

True Story, as I was listening to this video about the kettle with my wife. We both heard the kettle click and we laughed, the timing was uncanny.

I remember reading the Robert Monroe trilogy and he spoke about sleepers class. Here is the book where this is written it starts at the end of page 79 and goes to page 82.

Sounds like you're doing Astral travelling or OBEs.
I highly recommend his books If you're interested in this kind of stuff. He outlines how his OBEs got started, the experiments he did, and how he progressed. Interesting person.

wow yes that sounds like confirmation -
perhaps kettles could become the new séance apparatus haha - one click for yes, no click for no - as alluded to in your other post -
I have always thought that people have been put off séances by Officialdom because talking to the deceased could provide answers like remote viewing can... you would always have to be aware of mischief makers and dodgy spirits and demonic possession - and take protective action as a matter of course when 'dabbling'.... but.... ???
Who knows what secrets kettles could spill....lol
I have to add that it seems like a very intelligent and refined way to communicate using that bit of metal (if indeed it was that little strip of metal) - - top marks to your Mom -

Re: Avalon Members who have had NDEs ??
When I was around 16 years old, I went on a holiday to the south of France with some friends. As you can imagine with a group of lads at this age it was pretty wild and a lot of alcohol was consumed. I was to have an experience that I just laughed off at the time but I think it had a deeper effect than I acknowledged. I was a different person after it in many ways.
We were staying in a rented caravan that had a large awning attached to it. I had been drinking a crazy amount of alcohol and had collapsed on a bed in the awning. Next thing I know I’m looking down on myself, passed out on the bed and I see two of the girls we have been hanging out with frantically trying to revive me. My consciousness has risen to top of the awning and I am conscious that I am trying to pass through the material. I have moved diagonally away from my body and I am at the point where the awning meets the caravan as though I am trying to pass through the tiny gap that is there. Despite the drama happening to my body below I feel an immense sense of calm and peace. This experience lasted for several minutes. Suddenly I am back in my body throwing up in a face full of sick with two traumatised girls who had probably saved my life. They confirmed that they had performed the actions to my body that I had seen from above.
Compared to many NDEs it was pretty undramatic. There was no experience of angels or other celestial entities but it was probably part of my journey to having had many supernatural experiences that are often associated with NDEs and also my extreme experience of synchronicity in my life.
I often think what would have happened if I had managed to pass through the awning material which should not have been a boundary to spirit.
I hate to reference Netflix series but there is one that I think you would find really fascinating considering your interest in NDEs, Called The OA. It explores the concept of Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) and their potential impact on a person's life. It explores how gifts and transformations can occur through these experiences. If you have not seen it, I highly recommend it. The series also explores themes related to spirituality, faith, and the search for meaning in life.

DorjeziZigZag
Thanks. this is a great story and reminds me of Robert Monroes , journeys out of the body. Its great because it proves you are not your body. Your body is a carrier. Can you imagine if the two gals were not there? Perhaps you would have made it to the great question, do you want to stay or go?
I had it happen to me only once, while making love with my girlfriend long time ago. For about 10-15 seconds I was on the celing , looking down on us in the bed.
many thanks
btw ZigZag was my hockey nickname for years.
Re: Avalon Members who have had NDEs ??
Doug, I have had a single OBE that I suspect was the result of an NDE, but unless one is hooked up to medical monitoring equipment and declared "dead" by a doctor, how does anyone know if it was an NDE for sure?
My OBE is described here on this forum somewhere.
Re: Avalon Members who have had NDEs ??
I havent read Robert Monroes , journeys out of the body. But I do recommend The Projection of the Astral Body by SYLVAN MULDOON &HEREWARD CARRINGTON, First published in 1929.
Mr. Muldoon began projecting involuntarily at the age of twelve. He was fascinated by his experiences and began to experiment with the phenomenon. This book is a result of those experiments. The astral cord, traveling speeds and ranges, types of flying dreams - the fundamental laws and sensations of the astral world and its inhabitants - are all recorded in abundant detail. Mr. Muldoon also provides the clearest instructions to students in the techniques of projecting the astral body as well as various "do's" and "don'ts" of the astral world.
I remember that Sylvan Muldoon often commented in the book that people with ill health like he had can be at an advantage for astral projection because they are closer to death. Allthough it is not exclusively the case and of course there are techniques around this.
Re: Avalon Members who have had NDEs ??
Hi Doug
Over the years there have been many NDE threads, here is a link to them,
Near Death Experience Threads
There are also quite a few OBE threads, here is a link to them,
Out of Body Experience Threads
I have never had a Near Death Experience but I have had Out of Body Experiences since I was a child. Here is a post I made almost 10 years ago on.......The Out-of-Body-Experience. A Place Where Science and Spirituality Meet.
Here is a post I made on the above thread on Sept 16, 2015 post 8
Hi Jake
Thanks for starting this thread, I find this topic fascinating. Ever since I was a child, from the age of about 7 or 8 I have had involuntary Out of Body Experiences. When they first started I was somewhat alarmed but not frightened. Over the years I learned to enjoy the experience but never knew how they were triggered. They simply happened. For some reason, I never spoke about this to family or friends. I had never heard anyone speak about it so I began to think that the experience was unique to me.
They would always start just minutes after getting into bed (definitely not asleep), and I would feel my body get exceptionally heavy. The weight of my body seemed to be so great that I was sure that the mattress was almost hitting the floor. It was not like there was a weight on me, it was more like I was the weight. While this was happening I considered the sensation odd, alarming, humorous, and just plain bizarre. After a minute or two the weight would release, comparable to relaxing the tension in an overstretched rubber band. As soon as this happened I would be out and up and free to go where ever I wanted.
Once I graduated from college and started working I never really thought about it too much. Over the years it would happen less and less. About 5 years ago I started thinking about it and wondered if I could reproduce or somehow trigger the event. I laid down in bed and actually smiled at the thought of weighing a ton, I smiled at the thought of the mattress indenting from the weight of my body. To my amazement, it happened almost instantaneously. Once again, I was up and out and on a journey. If I relax and get the clutter out of my mind I then seem to have the ability to do this at will.
I have never really researched or studied this phenomenon but I have read many articles about it over the years. The vast majority of the info I have read deals with two factors.
Are Out Of Body Experiences Real
How to achieve a Out Of Body Experience
My question (if you're up for one) is what purpose do they serve? I have never really given this much thought, I have always considered an OBE to be self-entertainment (for lack of a better description). Is there something that you can actually achieve while on this journey? I would love to hear your thoughts.
R
Hope some of this is helpful
Re: Avalon Members who have had NDEs ??
I have been intensely interested in that veil that separates me from everything people experience beyond....
My mother had an NDE when I was in 5th grade. She reacted to a eucalyptus spray and so I woke up to no parents there. Later they came home and said she had been ill. Later she said she went to a most beautiful garden and came back.
All my life that I can recall I have been seeking answers. Since listening to all the experiencers I can (and Jeffmara is my favorite podcast), It now seems to me that I may have had an NDE when I was 5 but I do not recall yet. What happens with early life NDEs is more how it shapes people and memory may return later.
What I do recall of the possible event is that I hit my head very hard when my father slapped me across the room. I passed out for a long time. I know it was rather long before I became conscious because I was in the bathroom throwing up when I became aware. My grandmother was there and it took at least 30 minutes to drive from where she lived.
They must have been talking about my Dad because I recall defending him. I was very conscious of my complete understanding of why my father had hit me and felt supportive of him and from then on had great insight into his behavior. This event was also around an experience of lying on the ground under a tree and suddenly KNOWING myself. It was not an intellectual idea but a deep knowing "I exist" with a sense of being which has been why I could cope with lots of difficulty and always have MY understanding.
I feel I have a mission which is all internal but reflects as material and is with others. We ARE creating a new reality that is without evil and all that means.
I think I am one of SO MANY people who are committed to changing our reality such that a repeat is averted. That seems like a very big claim. I need not argue it because the reality of it is IN me and has no doubt. The reason of it and sense of it is not farfetched. The FACT is just SO for me. It is accomplished by Know thyself and truth and allow the very fabric of our experienced "material" world to be shaped by LOVE.
The fabric of the 'universe" actually is always LOVE but we can create an ILLUSION what SEEMS to be without it. That is through free will but always WRONG and therefore we get a dried up husk of a simulation.

@Doug I had a NDE + OBE in 1971 when I was 5 years old (car accident). Will soon share more details about it.
- My body suppose to be dead but due to time-line intervention I think/sense/feel strongly I am a "walk in" Soul ... that was allowed to intervene.

Jeff Reynolds and his wife Mara are providing a huge opportunity to share experiences of the paranormal. Their Saturday live is open to anyone to share. Other channels are also providing opportunities. I do not know why I am so focused on this area now. It is uplifting. I personally pray that there be a Universal NDE experienced by everyone on the planet and I love imagining the after effects.
What I think it will cause is the inability for people to lie. Now with a false face that is convincing, people can manipulate.
I think a Universal NDE will be so unsettling, so undermining of the "construct" that no one can continue the pursuit of the "programs" as given. People will be FORCED to surrender the ego death wish. It will be so wonderful IMO to be dealing with one another as fellow journiers all becoming MORE ourselves.
I don't know that I had an NDE but something in my experience and my family CRAZY (does everyone have one?) made going to school and interacting with people very hard. Basically I shut down and just tried to get by and actually this has been a gift. Being a people pleaser was kind of out as I seemed to please no one. I will take credit for a deep desire that all beings be happy and free and even if I could not see this to be the case I KNOW it is possible. I feel I am not into PURSUING "psychic" stuff and am into being TRUE.
