Atheism is infinitely closer to the truth of Illuminism or Gnosticism or just plain old rational and critical thinking than any Orthodox belief. Atheists recognize that Biblegod/Allah or insert name of any god here ________ is a logical impossibility and/or the Devil in disguise. They can employ reason simply because their views are not absolutely blindfolded by beliefs. They are a million times more apt to recognize God in themselves than any religious person.
Religion and spirituality... never the twain shall meet.

The original post reminds me of that scene in irobot where the robots congregate together in the shipping containers. I found that hauntingly eerie the first time I saw that and to paraphrase bender I don't believe they were celebrating robonica
