What is the favorite part of your day?
What is the favorite moment in your day? Is it morning, late night before bed? an activity during the day?
My favorite part of my day is making morning coffee after a shower. Then sitting down and reviewing whats ahead for me.
I am starting this topic , nudged by a comment Pam made on my post regarding the Banshees movie.
Pam said,
"I am finding comfort and great interest in some of the old writings. It's a comforting form of time travel as my mind is carried off to different places and times before drifting off to sleep. I love that part of my day. I am so grateful to have a warm place to sleep and a good story for time travel."
I have really started to appreciate the simplest things. To think the American dream for me is now just a small peaceful moment like this.

Beer oclock..................................RRR
after a very stressful day steering away from one **** to another, and I read "beer oclock" hahaha
it made my day! I am not a drinker, but it won't be bad idea to have one today!
now answering the thread, the best time for me is when I am in the outdoors, a day without it make me stressed.. it is not necessarily morning or night.. it is when I am there! More and more I come to the conclusion that I need to live full time in nature.

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
Before I retired it was evening and night, but now it is
morning, as I wake up very early, too early, like two or three
AM. Can't sleep so I get up and, of course, go on the computer,
used to read a lot throughout my life but not as much now.
Take the dog out in early morning. That's good except in winter.
Mostly I have peace of mind but flashbacks are a real pain...
P.S. Often take a 2 hr nap in afternoon. Need
that -- sleep sounder for some reason.

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
I often giggle like a little boy when I get into bed. Those first few moments of getting settled, wrapping the blankets around my ears, lying on my side, and finally totally relaxing. It feels sooo good. It makes me so grateful almost every night that I giggle with anticipation as I slip under the covers...all the pressures of this life can be forgotten for another night...

After a good sleep (which mostly happens, lucky me ...) when I wake up giving my 2 cats :cat: food, first drinking 300 ml mineral water with desert-spoon Turmeric (Curcuma) ... then making coffee ... with my coffee in my hand watching first Project Avalon forum en react/respond to what is happening on that moment on the site ... or if I have had a dream or a "brainwave" dealing with very complex issues making it more "digestible" for a wider audience I start to type text (lots of text) being in a semi-trance in a serene environment with mostly no noise pollution.
Most people (if not all) do not realize I hate "typing" ... long time I only did Radio & TV Amsterdam using audio (talking/interviews) maybe once a month I type text making flyers for our new lectures/conferences/workshops. Through my alternative and mainstream media network (being 22 times on Dutch 🇳🇱 National TV) I received many interesting phone calls (audio only again!) and key-people gave me private phone-numbers of other fascinating key-people (authors, documentary makers, whistleblowers) ... and the majority of those audible interactions were never publicized nevertheless due to my semi-autistic condition I am able to recall/remember in great detail what has been said even 10 or 20 years later ... this "gift" is how I evaluate/asses others especially if controversial claims were made in the past ... if it still sticks, if it still helps me in my own path/quest searching for the truth whatever that may be.
Now, what has all the above here to do with me "hating" (big word) typing text? ... Because my intuition/emotions/feelings/awareness are much faster than I am able to think ... I can think much faster than I am able to speak >>> and I speak much faster than I am able to type text on a keyboard ... To me, it is super frustrating to force myself to slow down of "the flow" of unlimited creativity connected to vast knowledge I obtained last 33 years of conspiracy & suppressed news research.
The moment I lost many big YouTube Channels (including some back-up ExomatrixTV channels) with 1000s of video's and at least 200 own productions! ... And countless beautiful comments from all over the world, all gone! ... 100s of sites that embedded my work ... since I started in 2006 to share my efforts on YouTube, all gone/dismantled now. About 2 years later the same horror happened to me again but this time it was Facebook as where I did similar things since 2007. Not long after that, my soulmate committed suicide. I already have lived a period of being in a severe depression in the past, so I know how to do it differently facing huge, heavy set-backs. I came to the point I really do not care to "prove" myself to anyone anymore via Radio/TV or any other audible means. The only thing that is left is appreciating what I still can do >>> and that is sharing my insights/assessments in a super slowed down version of my "previous self" (if that makes any sense).
- So I started to write more (even if I have some issues as I explained before) and talk less ... in that way I learned new things about myself >>> among others knowing what my "favorite part of the day is" and that is to be able to type text interacting with like-minded people.
When I do that I feel I am helped by "spiritual guides" who never told me who they are, maybe they did via dreams or via other means >>> but my "human version of me" can not comprehend it yet >>> it always feels good, and it never ever felt as an "intrusion" >>> more like they are deeply connected with me and vice versa long before I existed on Earth.
Feeling extremely "homesick" to a place that is not of Earth may be the reason am not allowed (yet) to fully know where I am from. A very gifted lady told me I am from Sirius and went to the Pleiades first to learn how to better "interact with Earthlings". Not 100% sure if this is the truth, but I would not be surprised if it is the case.
- I strongly feel I do not belong here for a long long time ... and my UFO encounter was like a reminder why that is.
- Writing text to you all has become my favorite part of the day now ... even if I have issues with "typing text" but I do it anyway as I feel I get help doing that, especially when other Avalonians ask sincere questions.
cheers,
John 🦜🦋🌳

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
Often when I drift off to sleep, my cat comes into my bed, lies on my shoulder and puts his head under my neck and purrs. No day ends badly when that happens.

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
My mornings. First cup of coffee watching the sun rise and the beautiful colours in the sky.
Enjoying this peaceful moment and be grateful.

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
I also enjoy so much mentioned here. Simple things in life appreciated.
I thought this soft core post would be a good respite from the madness.

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
Thank you Doug
We need posts like this that enrich the soul and take us away from the madness.
My favourite time of day is when I can sit n silence and just BE. But this Doesn’t come easily as I am a busy lady, still with a husband of 87 to care for.
However I do love the end of the day when I can snuggle comfortably in my bed and read again the wise words received by the Oracles I have been privileged to be the scribe for over the years from 1978 till today. My thirst for knowledge leading to wisdom is insatiable and has brought such joy and peace in my heart

My avatar pic is from one of those outings, when im out there i just grin/smile all the time, i loved it.
Ill have a beer for you tonight.................................RRR

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
Just another fan of bedtime here, especially when I have a good book to read, it's raining out enough so I can hear the pitter pat on the window, and I am snuggled up between freshly washed sheets with my BioMat warming my feet.
I'm a night owl because I am sensitive to EMFs, especially microwaves from cell phones and towers, and I feel better after midnight, when many devices are turned off.
I still miss my kitty though...sweet Samara died some years ago, but she used to climb up on my chest and give me healings.
I have TMJ and she would put her paws on either side of my jaw and soothe the pain and tension, purring loudly all the while.

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
Early morning sunrise, and a cup of good strong coffee for me.
The sunrise part depends on the weather of course - it rains a lot around here.
The coffee part never changes, and for many years included tobacco. So a morning smoke, a cup of coffee, and a wonderful sunrise. Actually I cut the tobacco part of that ritual out decades ago. The best was as a kid in the Navy, in the Pacific, out on deck with the cup of coffee watching a big , bright sun coming up on the horizon (and having that smoke).

Mine is at night, in bed with a good book reading myself into sleep. Ahhh peace and comfort.

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
Good thread, Doug. It’s an invitation to feel good, which everybody responding has done.
The best things, for me, don’t happen daily, but I have programmed a few daily favourites.
- Feeding myself. This is usually a couple times per day, no set times but normally in afternoon and evening or night. Whatever food it is, care and thankfulness make it sort of holy.
- Brushing my teeth. I feel love for my body, my God-given temple, and save money on fixing teeth.
- Prayer-thoughts before laying down, and after laying down before turning my attention to internet reading or watching. Thoughts looking out my window before closing it, for the critters and plants and our mineral kingdom home, and for all us children of Heaven — here, and near, and far.
Had an interesting cool time last night, with friends and friendly strangers at my fav pool+karaoke bar. Some of the latter were up singing and dancing, and I got us up in there for a “MOSH PIT!”. Slams all ‘round, for about 10 s., some guys fell, I caught/saved one from falling, was fun.
Related to that bar story: healing. I think that was the first time I’ve jumped in 10 or more (maybe 20) years. This winter has given me healing of a bunch of different things, it’s been a real special time. All those blessed enablements happened within a few days after deep and God-facing prayer. I guess that type prayer is my favourite thing to find in any day.

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
My favourite time of day is anytime the sun comes out and I can get out in it and feel the heat. :sun: So, like my cat, I follow it in the morning on my front veranda, with a strong coffee. Later, in the afternoon, it hits the greenery in my back garden and I'm out there again, under the fig tree, meditating or reading or just doing nothing, watching our overweight cat make an ass of himself climbing the pear tree, hearing the buzzing of the insects and the quiet chattering of the sparrows in the hedges. All while the sun beats down on my head.
At night, when the skies are clear (!) out in the back garden, I look up and connect to 'home', wherever that is. There's nothing like the feeling I get if I see an 'anomaly' up there ('satellites' that turn sharply, 'stars' that shine extremely brightly for an instant, then disappear. I sold my telescope years ago, but I've found that there's nothing like connecting with that vast black dome with just a pair of eyes and longing in my heart.
And one more - safely tucked up in bed while the wind and rain smash against the window. That's a childhood memory that still has the power to soothe.:)

Sounds like heaven! If you think it rains a lot where you are, then come to the South West of the UK. :gaah: Lately the wet stuff has never stopped, hence my post about chasing the sun whenever it deigns to make an appearance here. I too, cut out the ciggies many moons ago, but I still miss that 'hit' that you describe.

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
Hmm hard question but I like it.
I'm honestly not sure, it depends on the day. Fridays used to be my favorite, I'd go to the pool hall as soon as they opened, practice on the tables then eventually hang out at the bar with friends. I'd keep the jukebox going and occasionally challenge someone to a game. Sometimes you meet a nice gal. It was my 'Cheers' environment. I used to do this every Friday but now it's maybe once a month.
At the moment I'm not sure I have a decisive answer but here's a few things that come to mind:
1 Gardening in the sun with my dog, iced tea and talk radio. Sometimes beer instead of tea but more often than not, tea. I garden without gloves, shoes or shirt (unless I'm in the shade, then mosquitos will eat me up).
2 The feeling I have when I step out of the shower after a 5k.
3 Walking the dog at 5:30AM.
4 Reading before bed on a day where I accomplished all my tasks.
Special mention: when I'm having a good 'meditation day' and I arrive at one of the 'places' you reach when meditating. That 'place' where it's just utterly quiet and peaceful..... Man if that was a drug therapists would be out of business.

Were you ever stationed at Mayport? Nice sunrise there too, although I will say I'm jealous of your sunrise haha. It does sound beautiful.

Re: What is the favorite part of your day?
One of my favourite parts of each of many days, this winter, has been when the ice candle-lamp is lit. Weather here is getting warmer, with more incoming, so this might be the last of this pleasure.
