But instead -- this, below, is what I want to say. This thread, unfortunately, has done nothing special to deserve it. These kinds of pronouncement have been all too common in the last 12 months. I do appreciate Maia Gabrial's honesty in dutifully reporting it and doubting it at the same time. (Well she may!) But, Jeez.

I know about the crop circles and the 4 August interpretation. But the problem here is over-eagerness to believe, like children refusing to doubt Santa's reality even though they're pushing eight years old.

Digging deeper, the problem is also intellectual laziness. I'll pull back from writing "stupidity", because that sounds insulting -- but that's actually more accurate. There are so many symptoms, everywhere we look in the alternative media. I understand why David Icke was tearing his hair out and mercilessly lampooned Drake, and David Wilcock.

It's like those people who still think that the dinar will be revalued next Monday. Who still think Obama is a Galactic Warrior of Light. Who still think that "mass arrests" will happen any day. Who still think that they (and their pets) will all "ascend" on 21 December this year.

The spooks in the NSA and CIA whose job it is to monitor the alternative media must be laughing their socks off at our stupidity (and I bet they use that word). They'll be reporting up the line that there's very little danger from anyone to their plans -- except from maybe David Icke, Alex Jones, and Mike Adams. Maybe a few more: but not too many.

If we don't all wise up considerably and get way more intelligent about what's happening all around us -- like the frog in the gradually simmering saucepan, we'll deserve everything that may come next.

This came up elsewhere a few days ago and was already lampooned. I find it highly irregular to be linked now to ECETI.

What I do find credible, is ECETI's claim that the sightings at the ranch have increased exponentially lately.

I can totally get behind the frustration coming from the old hats in the alternative media, as they witness the old savior "memes" rear their ugly heads and how the alternative community is very much subject to all of the manipulations of human consciousness as any other sound asleep human.

I hope these are just the final death throws of these old memes and the paradigms which support them. Maybe we just need one more absolutely absurd scenario to chase before we finally get it? (myself included) You too Bill with the whole "Charles" thing.

Well, I agree the message is BS, but that doesn't necessarily mean that August 4th isn't a significant day or that the crop circles drawing our attention to that date didn't have a message from ET or ED sources, as I think they often do.
And it may not be obvious what that significance is, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't significant.
Just stating the obvious here, but all that BS is meant to distract us from the significant events, such as authentic crop circles and what their messages are.
And not necessarily saying those crop circles are authentically ET or ED, but they might be....

There is a ton of info on that page. I also thought this was of interest. I don't really know what to think of it all. You can twist numbers and information to prove lots of points, but it was quite an interesting read.

Update 3 June 2012. Yesterday (2 June) was the actual anniversary of the Queen's coronation, a crop circle appeared at Manton Grove near Marlborough. It is thought to be a clock/calendar, and the date it predicts is the 4th August 2012! LINK

It seems to me that the time and date of something to happen is just a waste of time. I was 16 when I sat in my car and realized I was hoping for something great to happen to the world; disclosure of benign Aliens's, Jesus coming back (Catholic Upbringing) Etc etc, fill in the etc with whatever you wish to happen.

In some ways I still feel I am not living my life to the fullest. Still hoping 16 years later. The distractions are HUGE, the discipline needed is more than a want or desire of something. I ask all of you at Avalon reading this post to be honest. Are you doing everything you can to move yourself towards whatever is it is that drives you to become an Avalon member. Or are you waiting for something to happen to you?

I still say we should keep an open mind. The rational, intellectual, egocentric mind easily falls into skepticism, sarcasm and condescension as it fears more than anything else to be wrong and to be fooled. This is why your typical educated follower of the mainstream media refuses to question the status quo, 9-11, paranormal events, UFOs, etc. In the conspiracy/alternative media this state of mind takes a different form, not believing the mainstream paradigm but being skeptical of anything that suggests that TPTB are not all powerful.

What's notable is that people who fall into this group, such as Alex Jones, have no hesitation to jump on a bandwagon with little evidence when it comes to something negative. But if it's something hopeful, they immediately scoff at it. The truth is, so far none of the most pessimistic predictions NOR the most optimistic have yet manifested. For those that believe that we can create, or at least influence reality, it makes sense to at least leave the door open to something positive happening, even if it seems to contradict the laws of logic. After all, that's the definition of a new paradigm.

So I wouldn't go as far as to say I believe that disclosure will happen on August 4 -but I won't rule it out either.

This is exactly why I posted this message, Bill. I spent a lifetime hoping for such a thing to happen and now that I know alittle more, I don't trust this anymore than I did the other channeled messages. I only wished they were true. And I feel stupid for it. This message has all the fluffy good feeling stuff just like the others. Relax.... we'll do the work for you.....And then too, the timing of it is highly suspicious with all the weaponry on rooftops and 30,000 plus soldiers around. Makes you wonder if England's leadership is aware of this so called landing already..... August 4th - isn't that the day of the closing ceremonies? We never know when they´re made by human hands or not.

There are groups specialized in making crop circles, specially in Britain, so we never know which one is the real deal.

The Crop Circles that are authentic are the ones that have the stalk nodes bent but not destroyed. Thus i believe are still able to harvest crops. The man made crop circles blow out the nodes destroying the stalk. This is how you can identify The Real vs. The Fake.

However, complexity is not a problem for professionals. If you can draw it on paper, you can draw it almost anywhere else, it´s just a matter of using the right tools and techniques.

Oregon's Sri Yantra. A gift of the Circle Makers!

In August 1990 a huge 2D Sri Yantra was inscribed overnight on a dry lake bed in USA Oregon and spotted by a National air guard plane from Idaho.

The lines engraved were 13.3 miles long ,10 inches wide and 3 inches deep in soft mud ,when measured. There were no footprints or tyre marks in the soft mud-- unlike the quintessential corn crop circle which cannot record footprints.

Four jokers claimed it - the joke was that they alleged they pulled a 'garden cultivator' like a plow for OVER 13 MILES, in an officially designated Wilderness Area, in the August desert heat - where not even cars are permitted. They concocted the story that they hauled all their gear 3/4-mile to the site each day. (It turned out that that was one of many discrepancies in their story, for they'd allegedly told a sergeant from the Air National Guard that their campsite was actually two miles from the Formation.) A second discrepancy: In their initial 'confession letter' to the newspaper they wrote that all four of them were hitched up simultaneously to pull the cultivator, but the video shows only two of them attempting to pull it. Another one I found of interest is the apparent major exertion seen to be required to gouge a thin 1/2"-deep line into the earth (as seen in the video) Vs that needed to create a trench 10" wide and 3" deep - apparently without effort, according to the same video. (The reason the 'real' line was easy to dig out is because it was already there - they had apparently filled in the trench with the soft dirt, and hoped to give the illusion that they were digging the furrow with their plow.) These 'variations', as well as various others, stretched my own and others' credibility well beyond believability. One can reasonably conclude that the only creativity these four expressed was through their over-active imaginations and not through any grand desert artistry.

Interestingly, the skies above the Sri Yantra are regularly used as part of the Idaho Air National Guard's pilot training area. According to the lieutenant pilot who first spotted the huge Pattern on August 10, no pilots had reported a design-in-progress; the Pattern had simply 'appeared' one day...

Various points in the purported 'documentation' which those who claimed the Sri Yantra offered were easily picked apart by researchers who subsequently visited the site. I, too, have noted non-sequiturs and blatant manipulation in previous fraudulent 'Crop Circle documentaries', manufactured and aired solely to convince an unknowing public that the Circle Phenomenon is not worth serious study. I strongly urge each of you to use critical discernment when evaluating any kind of 'evidence' presented by anyone about anything - perhaps most especially so-called 'expert' testimony - and especially as regards the Circles.

It’s location in the desert of eastern Oregon is now a “sacred place” for UFO watchers worldwide who still make the journey to the Mikey Basin to be near the site where Sri Yantra was first discovered.

13.3 miles long is too big, specially if it´s supposed to be made by two persons, let alone two uninstructed persons with no knowledge on geometry.

I´m really sure the "controllers" want to make real crop circles look as hoaxes, just like they want to make real UFOs look like "swap gas".

However, there are some guys out there who really can make amazingly complex crop circle formations, using just simple tools and geometric knowledge, most probably to discredit the real deal as well.
