So,... with "whom" do you ( and person that is being audited ) communicate using this machine ( E meter ), that brings you to the event that needs to be erased?
The E meter isn't necessary. You are communicating with
yourself. All of our memories are locked
in, auditing helps unlock them. It isn't magic, it isn't religion, it is techniques or tools to access what we already know but can't remember.
P.S. The E meter is a very sensitive device, once you have some experience with it you begin to understand the benefit. A competent and ethical auditor is able to find the hidden buttons, the needle on the meter reads the subconscious pulses through the currents of our body, no more mysterious than acupuncture.
Christine, it might help to define which part of "yourself" is that you are mentioning and memories of which part of "yourself" are locked "in" where.
Also you wrote that "The E meter isn't necessary" and then you continue and write that "A competent and ethical auditor is able to find the hidden buttons, the needle on the meter reads the subconscious pulses through the currents of our body..."
Would you mind clarifying these two seemingly opposing claims?
Sure Voyager, I don't mind answering the best I can.
Of course your questions can take us into some interesting territory, such as where do any memories come from? Are memories universally shared? Did I tap into another beings memory? Am I tapping into the holographic memory of the earth? Cellular memory, body memory? These are all well documented. So I don't think I could possibly answer your question in a simplistic manner.
Your question about what part of me is remembering is a good one, if I consider myself to be an integrating being to ask what part of me is remembering depends on the memory I am looking at. It may be a body memory, perhaps a traumatic incident that “I” could not deal with when it was happening so I “locked” it in a part of myself as an adaptation of survival. There is no mystery there, any good therapist or body worker has observed spontaneous releases of these types of memories.
In an auditing session you review the incident over and over again until you feel the release of any built up charge (emotional or other response). What happens is that the memory is released, ie: perceived, dealt with so from that point forward it would not be affecting your present life on the subconscious level.
I have had other memories return that are from other lives for example. Obviously that memory is not stored in my body but in some other ethereal part of Self. This is still the Me, the integrating being that is remembering. What I find notable and important is that I have had these memories return when I am in full consciousness, no hypnosis or drugs are involved. Indeed at times they return in a spontaneous manner, nothing (no auditor) is involved, they are just there.
What I find I am wanting to explain here is that I am aware of ME in present time and where I am located in space. I think this is what jiminii refers to a Point of View. This location of Self is Me looking at me in some other incarnation, or some incident that has been forgotten or indeed is in the future. I am also aware of another ME that already KNOWS the totality of SELF in relationship to ALL. There is a cord that has been severed with this ME, it is the process of remembering (KNOWLEDGE), knowing thyself that reestablishes this ME.
The journey, as I understand it, is to retrieve these fractured memories and remember who we are, where we came from and to then KNOW where we are going. Without the certainty we have been left guessing and have been easily misled. If you reach the state of KNOWINGNESS (this has nothing to do with arrogance or ego) then you reclaim your power.
The Earth, the animals, and the water all hold memory, really we are immersed in a matrix that depends on “memory” being held in time and space. With the ability to perceive these memories “our” memory is restored and we can effectively penetrate the matrix thereby change it.
In attempting to answer your questions, as often occurs, more doors are opened than closed. :)
I am not advocating the LRH materials, only adding my own experience.
As far as the E-meter is concerned, it is a useful tool. Any spiritually experienced person can audit (listen, hold safe space and guide another to explore themselves.) The E-meter assists that process, if you are a carpenter you can hammer a nail with a rock or you can use a hammer which aids you in being more effective.
Definition of auditor:
One who hears; a listener.
beholder, observer, perceiver, percipient - a person who becomes aware (of things or events) through the senses.
[from Old French auditeur, from Latin audītor a hearer]
I will use acupuncture as an example again, a good acupuncturist doesn’t need any device (though it is now common for a practitioner to use a machine) to know where to place the needles, they are highly trained to observe the body and know where to place the needles thus reestablish the energy flows of the body. This releases built up charge or blockages of chi. If you have experienced a good acupuncturist not only do you find relief from bodily pains but many times there is an accompanying emotional release and cognition of something previously “hidden”.
I am well aware and indeed share the concern and distrust that Scientology is corrupted. I am not a Scientologist to make that clear. I offer a small amount of experiential data only, if this serves anyone so be it, if not equally so.
