Re: What's happening in Sweden?
Immigration is one thing
Encouraged sexual depravity, weaponized drone surveillance, textbook terrorism - why isn't this on the news? Engineering continued complacency by the rest of the world. Some of us can see past the fog still.
I had no idea this was still going on in Sweden - and not losing any steam by the sound of it.
Re: What's happening in Sweden?
Here in Sweden, we have many immigrant -especially muslim immigrant. Many Swedes are not happy because want to have pure white country with no diversity and pure Swedish history. But I argue that Sweden has been changing always. We ignore our own history of conquor and conquest and bringing in different peoples to become Swedish. And we forget always Sámi (saam´ or saam´lja) people, first people of Europe from northern Africa. We call them Laplander after history confused https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lapponia_(book). Some People do not even acknowledge Sámi have human rights.
So now new people displaced from Europe and Africa and come to Sweden and we say no, like unto France and Italy and Greece and England and many countries where people have anger toward muslim brothers and sisters. still I always say, one people human kind. Why we hate change? Why we not accept change and welcome new brothers and sisters and give what we can. My charity help to promote freedom for all peoples in Sweden. I will never understand anger towards someone different. What say you in your country? Do you see same or otherwise?
Many people displaced from Africa because of war created by Europeans and Americans with long history of turning muslim against muslim and christian against christian. We must accept, it is not to blame immigrant. They only escape terrible situations. Many I see with my own eyes.
I start charity for my people who forgotten people and immigrant who endure hatred and lost place in society. Go from words to action. Why not more Swedes, more people everywhere try to understand people who escape their own country, rather than fight and persecute.
Too many people in Africa yes but also too many from other countries exploiting, taking resources, giving charity that cause problems and thinking only of commercial gains.
Problems all begin with us. We must choose love not anger. Love all brothers and sisters. This is the way of freedom as taught by Sámi peoples. World Tree and Sacred Stones teach that human kind all one people. So we must live as one people. Not find differences to push away. Raedie make all people equal on Earth to live in peace together. Same message as Jesus and Buddha. Why not take a little from Sámi understanding?
My mothers family Swedish, my fathers family Russian, my mothers great great grandmothers Sámi, my friends muslim, christian, buddhist, Sámi, hindu, athiest, jew, janist, native people. Why choose one only? Like all people. Accept all people. Sweden please drop fear and accept we always change.
Muslims not just radical but also good people. Radicals are also Swedish, who hate everyone not Swedish. We must learn from past wars and worldwide hatreds.
Who the real native people of Sweden? Not who you think!

Mark, with this last post above, and your endorsement of Bill Gates, I have to say, if I may, that I really do think you're vary naive and uninformed about the reality of certain global agendas.

Sami live in their own communities, self-sufficient mostly, right?
In the U. S., it is like this: ok, I am in a supposedly privileged group, white male, which could be described as the only group in history to willingly give away its wealth and power. Half was given to women, another half to blacks, another half to Latinos, another half to the disabled, and another half to the overly-medicated and sexually confused.
So now I work in a place where I am pretty much excluded from the conversation. I don't understand it, and the sound of it gives me a headache. I have worked in other places where we had to practice reverse racism, by specifically excluding white candidates.
It would be bigotry to say something like a Muslim is my enemy or is an animal, and I don't believe that, but I wouldn't want to be swamped in their culture either.
Concerning Italy, during the 19th century, all Italians were admitted as political refugees. When the 20th century hit, they were called morons and cut off. "Moron" was revived from old Greek when the know-alls at Ivy League universities invented modern eugenics, which was the role model for Germany, and Sweden was a heavy player with large amounts of mandatory sterilization. All that basically comes right out of Harvard, same place bringing us the coronavirus vaccine. Someone changed their tune.
I disagree with oppression, but, I don't want to be in a black or Latin culture, it's really annoying. I can no longer find the one I grew up in. If everybody loves me, can I walk in everyone's house and eat their dinner? If there is so much giving, can I take? Of course not. They will just tell me being poor is your problem, and if I look to some other country to grant me some kind of asylum or favored status, it will not be there.
Re: What's happening in Sweden?
No argument Bill with many problems in Sweden but immigration we cannot criticize without understanding all else that happen in the world. We cannot blame this peopel and have so much hatred for them.
Sweden has too much America influence. Too much corruption too. But immigration has become too much like anti-jew.

Elderly Woman Went Hungry at Nursing Home Because Workers Didn't Speak Swedish
22 July 2020
The original article, in Swedish, is here:
https://samnytt.se/aldreboendets-per...fick-ingen-mat
An elderly woman was unable to communicate her need for food to staffers at a nursing home in Sweden because they did not speak Swedish, according to reports.
The female patient called her husband in desperation on Sunday to tell him she was hungry but none of the foreign workers understood her requests for food.
“The woman's good husband then called the staff of the nursing home in Östersund, but it became clear that they did not have anyone who spoke Swedish,” Samhälls Nytt reports.
“The municipality of Östersund, which runs the accommodation, blames high sickness absence during the current pandemic.”
Eventually, the husband phoned a different department at the facility and was informed his wife was in the care of non-Swedish speaking replacement employees due to staffing shortages.
"This is not how it should go. It is not acceptable," the husband told local media.
A municipality official admitted that while foreign nursing home workers are expected to be fluent in Swedish, many are not.
During a recent interview, Professor Johan Giesecke, top epidemiologist and advisor to the Swedish government, revealed that “many of the people working in nursing homes are from other countries. They're refugees or asylum seekers.”

This is happening world wide. In for-profit centers, it's due to under staffing. In Sweden, I am not sure. As Sweden did not take the virus seriously, and ended up scrambling at the last minute, for their elderly, it makes sense that this would be a huge concern. This is beyond a mere language issue, as feeding the elderly is basic and shouldn't require speaking Swedish.
Re: What's happening in Sweden?
In Canada--Military report. The military had to basically take over institutional care. This is a partial list of the condition the residents were in.
sedated with narcotics when they are sad or depressed
regular vitals signs or patient turning not followed to avoid waking up the resident
regular wellness checks are not being done on time
poor Foley catheter care and peri-catheterization care
aggressive behavior to residents: during transfers and feeding resulting in choking
very little or no disinfection had been conducted, significant fecal contamination in many resident rooms
insect infestations in the facilities such as ants, flies and cockroaches
changing soiled residents are delayed causing skin breakdown, patients being left in soiled beds instead of being taken to bathrooms
residents crying for help for prolonged periods of time (30 minutes to over 2 hours) with no assistance
residents are not bathed for several weeks
linen shortage led to residents sleeping on beds without linen
staff are often rushed and leave food on the table where patients can not reach or feed themselves
liquid oxygen generators can’t be used because it wasn’t filled
incident reporting policies are not easily accessible
poor or no handover between shifts resulting in miscommunication
delayed or missed meals resulting in residents not receiving three meals a day
hungry residents overnight are told to wait until the morning or are given either a cookie or coffee
leaving food in a resident’s mouth while they’re sleeping
not assisting residents during meals, instead staff write that the resident refused to eat
severely understaffed and new staff haven’t been trained
staff disappear and leave the floor unattended

Since members of the military began providing operational assistance in Ontario, 14 of them have become infected with COVID-19. The patients who can't feed
themselves regularly starve to death...at the best of times. This is happening in good old enlightened, liberal "socialist" Canada...largely due to the "for profit" model.
The care homes that are run by provincial governments fared far better during the Covid outbreak, and do better generally.

Not heard it be that bad here yet but many points do still match quite well to the situations around here. There is still some controls and checks working so when things get bad someone gets a notice "FIX THIS". But controls are often lax or ignored anyway as long as they can.
It's continually getting worse as the workforce gets less and less competent and lazy. Morals are gone.
Laziness and lack of "care". This is Socialism. For profit doesn't matter. Same **** goes on anyway. No money and they cut hours when the thing needed is "hours".
All your "social services" are continually under funded according to everyone. But there is money for everything you can imagine if you look at the amounts. Problem is, the money is put into pits that return little or nothing. They then just hire less people and overwork them instead to balance the budgets.
They basically burn the money on the facilities but leave nothing for anything else.
Socialism needs "work hours" but they continually cut that at all times when budgets aren't in line. They just waste the money on junk projects and pits that will never have enough.
It's mainly a money issue. Under our provincial socialist system, in British Columbia, (Canada) the staff are unionized, well educated and anything but lazy. A higher standard can be demanded and that may have something to do with higher pay being offered. It is still far from perfect, but we have not had near the problem the Ontario extended care facilities have.
In B.C, most infractions in care are well documented, as they show up as bed sores etc...and must be reported to the government. Workers who do not comply can be fired, the care facility can lose its subsidies, if these infractions happen under their watch. Unions can't interfere with that process, as bedsores, for example, are clear physical indications of neglect. No wiggle room there. So lazy workers? Nope. The hardest working people, with few exceptions, you will find anywhere.

Violent riots erupt in Malmo, Sweden after Koran-torching stunt; police say they have ‘no control’ over situation
https://cdni.rt.com/files/2020.08/ar...687b51d4e1.JPGDemonstrators burn tires during a riot in the Rosengard neighborhood of Malmo, Sweden following a public Koran burning, August 28, 2020.
A wave of chaotic unrest broke out in Malmo, Sweden after anti-Islam activists filmed a public Koran burning, sparking protests that soon descended into riots, with unruly demonstrators setting fires and clashing with police.
Some 300 people gathered along a main thoroughfare in Malmo on Friday around 7:30pm local time to protest after members of a far-right political party staged a Koran burning earlier in the day, according to local press reports. As the crowd grew, fires were ignited in the street and several cars were torched, prompting a heavy police response that struggled to bring the situation under control.
“We have ongoing and violent riots right now that we have no control over,” police spokesman Rickard Lundqvist told a local news outlet amid the disorder.
