The Science behind Crystal Healing
I've been searching for scientific studies confirming the validity of this idea. There are quite some on Orgonite, but I found virtually none on crystals, only many studies that "debunked" crystal healing.
I thought I'd find some stuff, where crystals have been put into water and that this water would have been analyzed, like with Emoto's experiments.
Or that people would have stored seeds or plants together with crystals to figure out if there's a difference in plant growth.
I'm personally aware of the effects of crystals on the body and the psyche, and please share your experiences, but what I'm especially searching for is scientific evidence for the power of crystals.
Thank you!

christian--
You might try a book called "The Crystal Connection: A Guidebook for Personal and Planetary Ascension" by Randall N. Baer.
The title sounds woo woo, but I remember it being too scientific for me to understand.

Re: The Science behind Crystal Healing
I dont know if crystals can heal but I can tell you that the one I bought wasn't cheap and it put my workman to sleep -- in fact, only a few hours after being exposed to it he started yawning and finally said he had to go home. After that he didn't come back to work for 3 days -- said he was sleeping a lot and didn't know why (which I knew was true because that's what the guy who sold it to me said it might do). And he stopped swearing. But he did keep getting sleepy for a long while. After a few months he asked me "what did you put in the house that's putting me to sleep". Well, its supposed to calm people down. There's a few restaurants around here that have them to keep out the riff raff.

What type of crystal did you buy?

Re: The Science behind Crystal Healing
I don't know. Its in a cone. Its from Italy. I knew nothing about crystals when I bought it and still don't. But the guy had some other things that I knew worked so I trusted him.
I've gotten to know him quite well over the years and he has a number of amazing devices.
Re: The Science behind Crystal Healing
This is what he said about it: He said he told people to put in the house and expect that there would be turmoil for a few days, even fights. Then things would calm down and the crystal would keep it that way. He said he has them all over his house in Italy and they tend to make people go to sleep. He said it would keep evil people away from the house, that is, that they would actually feel uncomfortable here.
Re: The Science behind Crystal Healing
Dr Marcel Vogel is someone you want to research re crystal science.
He was a research scientist for IBM for 27 years and he left them to research crystal technology.
He was an astute and respected scientist and he recorded his findings with very accurate testing equipment. He developed a Vogel crystal which was cut to a certain geometric shape and found it had the same resonating frequency as water.
He conducted well over 2000 human healings with crystals. He went under conciderable criticism from fellow scientists and friends for having left a career at IBM to study crystals. But he was onto something and developed one of the most amazingly powerful crystals i have ever worked with. Yes i own one and yes its absolutely amazing.
The first time i used this crystal i was met with a vision of Dr Vogel and i have to say what i have been able to do since has been just amazing.

Re: The Science behind Crystal Healing
I have a number of books on healing, "Vibrational Medicine" by Richard Gerber, MD is very good. I use 'clean' crystals (left to recharge in the sun) in conjunction with Reiki.
Re: The Science behind Crystal Healing
That's a wonderful experimental idea with water and chrystals. Isn't Tibet sitting on chrystals, and KY and TN in US?
Need to test that theory with vibration in water. Have a nephew about to try the Tesla teleportaion wall experiment, this one appears a little safer to put various meditative musical tone to water w/chrystals, and record my results. Just have to get a hold of some of those chrystals. Perhaps the net can help. Could be lucritive if the same water is used to water a plant to find the results.
Hmmm... you've aroused my curiosity.
Re: The Science behind Crystal Healing
Ah, I found some old emails about the crystal:
"I'd like to inform you that pretty well all mydevices have very little in common with the "Secret Geometries" they work in disguise...the shape of an egg, a cone orwhatever tocamouflage. My calculations are all multiples of "9"...sometimes known as the code of the Gods. The power of the EN Harmonizers are achieved by the activation of crystals beyond the scope and understanding of present knowledge. Corrective measures are introduced via vortexing - to make sure that they are not able to do any harm. Just to let you know and to pass this
info on to your friends...that the shape has nothing to do with the outcome...the power is in the activation and the vortexing of the crystals."
I was doing a little research on it at the time and some friends were working on it; trying to understand the mechanism of its operation.
Re: The Science behind Crystal Healing
Then another email from Guido in response to my asking whether it was quartz.
"Yes, but they are highly "activated"....in the billions. of angstroms. Amethyst - bi-polar -are the best, but they are hard to get. The best crystals come from Tibet, Turkiztan and Kazakhiztan.
Greetings..."
Then an email from another friend about quartz crystals:
"Quartz was the ancient time keeper and action-at-a-distance is
important to
any scientist looking to understand the so-called paranormal. I
integrate
the work of The Primer Project, Rhine, and many others with that of Dr.
Don
Robins and I think I have the template for how many of these things
work.....
"Quartz Mining:
We are told that Moses is associated with the Ark of the Covenant.
I
believe there were many people with the title Moses. It means leader
and
that should be fairly obvious. I am pretty sure some of these Moshe
Rabbenues (including the one named Akhenaten according to Sir Laurence
Gardner) were traveling traders or corporate members of the Hyksos
Phoenicians. Even the Biblical account has him away from his royal
Egyptian
family for a long time and thus he was rusty in his use of Hebrew that
these
priests spoke. He could have gone to watch over the drug trade that
forensics assures us went on between Egypt and Peru or he might have
been
checking on the mines in places like Poverty Point near the present
‘Ark’-ansas where there is a battlefield with unstudied bones or
remains of
60,-100,000 people wearing Horns or called Skulls just as pictured in
the
bas-relief in Lima. The Moshe were enforcers in this drug trade before
the
Ostrogoths came to take command in force as the Incas. Inca is the name
for
these ‘sun-gods’ or Heliopolitan Druids and it is not the name of the
people
they ruled in a fair and equitable manner after centuries of abuse by
the
Moshe and Chavin.
The Ark was an arc transmitter capable of building electrical
charges
that would kill a person who came near the metal wings. It was useful
in
mapping as we have demonstrated in other books. In 2004 we had the
Library
of Congress pay a large sum of money for the Hadji Ahmed map which
traced
earlier maps and has been in museums since the early 16th Century. That
map
shows the Bering Strait as it was 12,500 years ago and more. We did not
know
this until 1958 so how did the ancients map that? They were there when
it
was that way. It was not aliens flying overhead and doing mapping as
some
want to believe. The secrets of electricity and electroplating are
obviously
important to our ability to understand the acts of our noble leaders
and
supranational corporatists in history. It is even possible that the
vitrified rock found all over the world was a part of the same bitumen
and
tars used in the Ark of the Covenant.
The tar pits of the Persian Gulf near present day Jubail and
ancient
Byblos may even have provided the Sodom and Gomorrah story in the
Bible. I
think the addition of phosphorus to these tars and natural gas
(perpetually
burning and yet somehow our academics talk about discovering fire in
recent
years by humans with hunched backs) could make a Greek Fire which would
have
produced the heat necessary to make the Vitrified Rock.
According to Dr. Lee, four of five geologists, and the Director of
the
Natural History Museum in Canada we had quartz mining near Lake
Superior
(The lakes were different then.) going back 125,000 years. Dr. Lee and
Dr.
Rousseau were crucified and the Museum’s name is changed. I have
developed
who did this mining and why there was so much of this pure quartz on
New
Grange and other megaliths in other books too.
Phosphorus was used in quartz crystals to make lights that lasted a
long
time. There are slow-moving lava flows with quartz in many parts of the
world and it would be easy to drop some phosphorus into the lava. It
is
used in tar or bitumen to make Greek Fire. The input of electricity and
phosphorus in a ship at sea could have led them to a major explosive
discovery that made the Ark an even more feared technology.
The quartz lava flows of Central America lead to their use in
making
divinatory tools like skulls and crystal balls. When you add phosphorus
to
the lava it makes it possible for simple brain energy to activate
images and
attune with the elemental energies which shamans communicate with.
Those
energies have consciousness and are attuned to other natural guides and
allies."

Dr mitchell Gaynor is a doctor who works with cancer patients using vibrational medicine.

Like Nanoo Nanoo already mentioned above, Marcel Joseph Vogel is a researcher who has studied the properties of quartz crystals.
Quote:
Marcel Vogel (1917 - 1991) was a research scientist for IBM's San Jose facility for 27 years. He received over 100 patents for his inventions during this time. Among these was the magnetic coating for the hard disc drive systems still in use. His areas of expertise were phosphor technology, liquid crystal systems, luminescence, and magnetics.
In the 1970's Marcel did pioneering work in man-plant communication experiments. This led him to the study of quartz crystals and the creation of a faceted crystal. Marcel's research into the therapeutic application of quartz crystals led him to the investigation of the relationship between crystals and water. He discovered that he could structure water by spinning it around a tuned crystal, altering many of the characteristics of the water and converting it into an information storage system.
