The price of gold is certainly a major factor in the China/US confrontation. No doubt. However, patents, intellectual property and forced technology transfer are right up there too. To me, gold, manipulaton of the Renminbi and all the financial factors will ultimately have an outsized influence on who comes out on top of the financial pyramid. I congratulate Trump for being the first president since Nixon et all opened China to have the gumption to challenge them.

Unconfirmed word is that a basic agreement has been reached. If it is as reported, the dollar will no longer rule world trading. That seems like something that Trump would not agree to. We shall see - after the 2020 election.

Another important factor in all this is Trump and the team backing him want to take down the old guard, which means the power of the Rosthchilds. No better way to do that than to neuter the FED. So, Trump may be willing to deal on the dollar hegemony and gold in order to severely limit the power of the FED. Interesting strategy.

Also I would think that the Trump team realizes that we now live in a multipolar world but cannot llive in peace with each other until certain international norms are in place. Which means bringing China to the international table as a cooperative member and not a rogue nation.

The US ceased being the republic it was founded as many years. So she's way late on that. Many things Jefferson wrote about state sovereignty would be completely out of place in today's centralized, imperial system.

Besides, the American Revolution, Civil War, WW2, and many other conflicts all involved the emergency suspension of normal government functions as well, including budgeting and how currencies are issued or used by the government. Lincoln issued the first greenback dollars and resorted to other new ways of fundraising in order to finance his war. FDR socialized the US war machine for the duration of WW2. Arguably, both of these acts were completely unconstitutional, and yet because of the traditionally nebulous concept of emergency war powers, they were allowed. The idea of the commander-in-chief having need of emergency powers during a war is not in itself a bad idea, I think, despite how often it has been abused in recent history.

Today, the entire financial system is in the process of being overhauled and we are literally at war. We have technically been at global war at least since 9/11, and probably even before that, but now a new group is (rightfully) on the receiving end of it.

Fitts nailed it on the head as pointed out earlier. As she points out and I said there are no white hats, they are all working toward a goal doing a job. So this goes across the board and everyone should grasp this because it means that guys like Bob Dean were loyal to the job and still working it all the way to the end, and the same with Dolan and any others that were loyal soldiers to the government, many with pensions. It is apparent and talked about that they want us to believe that we are being contacted and they need us to believe this firmly for their plan to work.
So each and every one of these individuals from the ones mentioned to any others that were in the government are all still in the gov. They still do the job, they still present things often times later found to be untrue or disinfo. and we all keep believing them as credible for the very ironic reason that they must know because they....., wait for it, worked for the government! You can't write this stuff. No one would believe it but they fooled the masses once more and when they run the fake alien invasion everyone will think it's real no matter what we do to try to inform them it's always been them/us/our own leaders. The entire thing is just another line of many rich men playing tricks on the 'incompetent masses' their words.
