Historic Air National Guard airlift brings troops to DC

WASHINGTON – Thousands of National Guard troops continued to stream into the nation's capital Saturday to support law enforcement during the presidential inauguration, building to a force of up to 25,000 members. Many of the Soldiers and Airmen are getting there via the Air National Guard in a historic airlift.

Some 125 Air National Guard aircraft flew 134 sorties into Washington Jan. 12-15, bringing more than 7,060 National Guard troops and 2.3 million pounds of cargo from around the nation. The flurry of flights into Joint Base Andrews in Maryland continued Saturday, handled by the 89th Airlift Wing.

“The type of mission that we are involved in right now just demonstrates the nature of the Air National Guard," said Lt. Gen. Mike Loh, director, Air National Guard. "We pride ourselves in being the first to the fight, whether it be responding to natural disasters, COVID-19, civil unrest, or providing support to our local, state, and federal partners for the inauguration.”

"The volume of aircraft, personnel, and equipment that is processing through Andrews is pretty much unprecedented," said Lt. Col. Devin T. Robinson, director, Air National Guard public affairs. "Our Guard Airmen are turning a massive number of aircraft in a very short period of time - it really is amazing!”

On Sunday, the Alaska Air National Guard's 168th Wing will fly about 80 Guardsmen aboard a KC-135 Stratotanker from Eielson Air Force Base on a seven-hour flight to Joint Base Andrews.

Activating volunteers and scheduling aircraft to deploy to the East Coast from Alaska requires extensive planning and coordination. This request to support D.C. was expedited in only two days.

“Our Soldiers and Airmen are ready to come to the state’s or nation’s call,” said Maj. Gen. Torrence Saxe, adjutant general of the Alaska National Guard.

In Puerto Rico, a C-17 Globemaster III cargo plane from the 145th Airlift Wing arrived at Muñiz Air National Guard Base to carry Soldiers with the Puerto Rico National Guard's 92nd Military Police Brigade to Washington. Airmen with the 156th Wing ensured the aircraft was fueled and ready to go on time.

“We’re excited to be here and be able to provide this support to the Soldiers that are heading out for the important mission of defending our nation’s capital,” said Col. Pete Boone, 156th Wing commander.

As of Saturday morning, there were about 9,500 Guard members on the ground in Washington from 46 states, three territories and D.C.

Up to 25,000 National Guard men and women have been approved by the Defense Department to support federal and D.C. agencies for the Jan. 20 presidential inauguration. The Secret Service is in charge.

“Our first priority is to protect people and property – and the safety and well-being of our National Guard personnel,” said Army Gen. Daniel Hokanson, chief of the National Guard Bureau.

In addition, more than 4,000 Guard members are protecting state capitols and other key infrastructure in states. At the same time, 21,671 Guardsmen and women are supporting the COVID-19 pandemic response in every state and territory. With overseas missions, there are nearly 71,000 National Guard members engaged in homeland and overseas missions.

“While the last 12 months have been unprecedented, we continue to respond to every mission, both here at home, and overseas – living true to our motto: “Always Ready, Always There!” Hokanson said.

About half of the Guard Soldiers and Airmen will conduct security-related missions to include crowd control, traffic control, and assisting with entry and exit points. State and local law enforcement agencies remain responsible for security. The D.C. National Guard will also perform ceremonial duties.

Military involvement in presidential inaugurations dates back to April 30, 1789, when members of the U.S. Army, local militias (the modern-day National Guard), and Revolutionary War veterans escorted George Washington to New York City – the seat of government for his inauguration ceremony.

“I want to convey the gratitude the entire administration and the American people have for the Citizen-Soldiers (and -Airmen) who are here in our nation’s capital, and to their families," said Vice President Michael R. Pence. "We’re very proud and grateful for work they have done, and will do, in the historic days ahead.”

I'd like to to address this, because I am tired of being told that Q was an OP to pacify me, when I've done more work in the truth movement for last few years because of Q, than at any other time in my life.

"The plan" always required our participation. It was not about pacification, it was about activation. It was about the Great Awakening.

Q activated an army of digital soldiers to counter the fake news. We did all the research work, created media of all types, and spread it relentlessly across social media all while being deplatformed, ridiculed, banned, censored, hated, and worse. We woke up millions anyway.

We fought in the trenches of the information war, while the naysayers and blackpillers did nothing but attempt to dampen our morale, which is actually worse than nothing. Killing the morale of patriots is useful only to the enemy, so don't do it. It takes a lot of nerve to criticize us about being pacified while sitting on the sidelines.

One more thing - HOPE IS ALWAYS CORRECT, because you never know if it's "false hope" until after the fact. Hopeless people have no fight. Always have hope, always spread hope.

Hopelessness is the real pacification OP.

China ‘Sought to Influence’ 2020 US Election, Director of National Intelligence Assesses
CIA Management Pressured Analysts to Withdraw Assessment

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) John Ratcliffe assessed that China interfered in the 2020 federal elections, according to a letter transmitted to Congress.

In the letter (pdf), Ratcliffe alleges that intelligence about China’s election interference was suppressed by management at the CIA, which pressured analysts to withdraw their support for the view.

Citing a report by the Intelligence Community Analytic Ombudsman Barry Zulauf, the director of national intelligence said some analysts were reluctant to describe China’s actions as election interference because they disagreed with the policies of President Donald Trump.

The Washington Examiner published Ratcliffe’s letter and the ombudsman report on Jan. 17, ten days after publishing an original report on the documents. The ODNI did not respond to requests from The Epoch Times to authenticate the documents.

“Based on all available sources of intelligence, with definitions consistently applied, and reached independent of political considerations or undue pressure—that the People’s Republic of China sought to influence the 2020 U.S. federal elections,” Ratcliffe wrote.

The report by Zulauf, the intelligence community analytic ombudsman, was sent to Congress on Jan. 7 alongside an intelligence community assessment of interference in the 2020 election. In the report (pdf), Zulauf states the analysts working on Russia and China applied different standards to their reporting on election interference. While labeling Russia’s activity as clear election interference, the analysts were reluctant to do the same for China.

“Given analytic differences in the way Russia and China analysts examined their targets, China analysts appeared hesitant to assess Chinese actions as undue influence or interference,” Zulauf wrote. “These analysts appeared reluctant to have their analysis on China brought forward because they tended to disagree with the Administration’s policies, saying in effect, I don’t want our intelligence used to support those policies.”

Neither the ombudsman report nor the letter from Ratcliffe includes details on China’s meddling. Zulauf redirected an interview request to the ODNI, which did not respond to an emailed request.

The analytic ombudsman’s report assesses that politicization occurred in relation to both Russia’s and China’s election interference. Zulauf assessed that neither intelligence community leaders nor analysts are at fault, blaming the hyperpartisan atmosphere in the United States instead.

“In most cases, what we see is the entire system responding to and resisting pressures from outside, rather than attempts to politicize intelligence by our leaders or analysts.”

The report states that the analysts who assessed Russia’s election interference had complained that the intelligence community management was reluctant to deliver their assessments to government clients because the work was not “well received.”

“Analysts saw this as suppression of intelligence, bordering on politicization of intelligence from above,” Zulauf wrote.

The Epoch Times had previously documented a multi-pronged election influence campaign linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

In a Dec. 3 op-ed, Ratcliffe said the CCP “poses the greatest threat to America today, and the greatest threat to democracy and freedom worldwide since World War II.”

“The intelligence is clear: Beijing intends to dominate the U.S. and the rest of the planet economically, militarily and technologically,” he wrote. “Many of China’s major public initiatives and prominent companies offer only a layer of camouflage to the activities of the Chinese Communist Party.”

Congress certified Joe Biden as the president-elect on Jan. 7. In the two months leading up to the certification, Trump challenged the outcome of the election in seven states, citing unconstitutional changes to election laws and potentially illegally cast votes.

Based on these powers, he called out the militia, authorized increases in the size of the regular army and navy, expended funds for military purchases, deployed military forces, blockaded Southern ports, suspended the writ of habeas corpus in certain areas, authorized arbitrary arrests, and empanelled military tribunals to try civilians in occupied or contested areas. Later he authorized conscription and issued the Emancipation Proclamation. Lincoln justified these steps as necessary to save the Union and preserve the Constitution.

Although Lincoln had no formal military education, he learned quickly and proved to be a competent strategist. He intuitively adhered to the old adage that in war, “the main thing is to make sure that the main thing remains the main thing.” The “main thing” for Lincoln was to preserve the Union. But like any good strategist, Lincoln proved willing to adapt his strategy to the circumstances in order to achieve this goal.

Lincoln understood that the key to victory for the Union was the simultaneous application of military force at multiple points, making it difficult for the Confederacy to defend its territory. Although it was not successfully implemented until 1864, Lincoln articulated the principle early in 1862. He also understood that a successful strategy required Union armies to defeat Confederate armies, because they, not territory or the Confederate capital, constituted the Confederacy’s true “center of gravity.”

QAnon and the Great Awakening

I'd like to to address this, because I am tired of being told that Q was an OP to pacify me, when I've done more work in the truth movement for last few years because of Q, than at any other time in my life.

"The plan" always required our participation. It was not about pacification, it was about activation. It was about the Great Awakening.

Q activated an army of digital soldiers to counter the fake news. We did all the research work, created media of all types, and spread it relentlessly across social media all while being deplatformed, ridiculed, banned, censored, hated, and worse. We woke up millions anyway.

We fought in the trenches of the information war, while the naysayers and blackpillers did nothing but attempt to dampen our morale, which is actually worse than nothing. Killing the morale of patriots is useful only to the enemy, so don't do it. It takes a lot of nerve to criticize us about being pacified while sitting on the sidelines.

One more thing - HOPE IS ALWAYS CORRECT, because you never know if it's "false hope" until after the fact. Hopeless people have no fight. Always have hope, always spread hope.

Hopelessness is the real pacification OP.

I'm biased with hope and faith that the next 48hrs will be explosive which is why I read into this passage on Lincoln similar strategies from Trump; evidenced by the overwhelming support he has garnered over the past 4 years.
