I urge you to take a close look at the photo of Feinstein and Mukowski. Zoom in on their faces. Look at body language. Look at facial expressions. I ask you: who is controlling the conversation? Who has the power?

I see Senator Feinstein (on the left, hand on wall) glowering over Senator Murkowski (on the right, holding something), who in turn is pleading her case.

What do you see?

I see Feinstein cornering and intimidating Mukowski and Mukowski pleading with her to back off and leave her alone. I also see Mukowski viewing Feinstein as the person with the power and she is reluctant to say anything that could cause that power to come down on her.

If a male had a woman pinned against the wall the way Feinstein has Mukowslki pinned that would be considered inappropriate and perhaps an assault. (Legally, assault is the placing of a person in reasonable fear of an injurious or offensive touching. A battery is the actual touching in some manner.)

Thanks, RunningDeer. I removed it from the bookmarks, cleared caches and did a restart -- still there. As far as the X (exit) goes, the Q tab does NOT have one. No worries. I'll try to figure it out. I know I did nothing on my end to make it a permanent tab. Just a little tech strangeness, I suppose.

He has one foot in the door and they seem to think they have to vote yet!? They voted! That doesn't count? They voted before it closed I took that as I know others did, to mean he is all but confirmed already unless the FBI finds something.

My understanding (not carefully researched, so could be wrong) is that the Senate Judiciary committee hearing this nomination voted 10-11 to bring the nomination to the full Senate, but now the full Senate needs to vote. The full senate vote will be very close, and one key vote, Senator Flake (R) of Arizona has insisted on another FBI investigation, time limited to no more than one week, before he will consider voting for Kavanaugh. Trump has ordered that FBI investigation to proceed.

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 11/10 to send the nomination to the full Senate. The full Senate casts the final vote on Kavanaugh's nomination. So, he is not through the Senate process yet, which at its conclusion (if he is successful) will constitutionally allow Trump to appointed Kavanaugh to the USSC.

Q sounds a little like Dan Bongino today. getting a little more forceful in telling us we had better 'do' something, get loud, fight, something... Not the frequent 'enjoy the show' which he is wont to do...
