Jumping back to Huma Abedin for one second. If she was mandated to wear an ankle bracelet then it would have been mandated by a federal court.

That type of hearing would not go unnoticed by media, who monitor all federal court hearings.

So I believe the cuff is not there.

In addition to Olam's concerns (even if a Federal court did mandate an ankle bracelet in a public hearing, we wouldn't necessarily be told about that), I have a second concern:

Are you saying, mgray, that in the US only Federal courts can mandate ankle bracelets, Federal courts operating in public view no less?

That surprises me.

Courts use them to monitor alchohol consumption for drunks all the time. Used for house arrest from family civil cases, city, county and State.

We were told military Tribunals, which also has nothing to do with Federal courts.

Netanyahu indicted on corruption, Iran rocked by serious protests of unknown meaning or origin. 3 African nations have changed regimes in 3 months. (Kenya, Gambia and ?) Japan's leader has announced his retirement. Pakistan has had their aid pulled, and has been experiencing riots. American families told to leave. NoKo has agreed to talks with SoKo. Soros and his reliable friends have been challenged on their corruption in the EU. Merkel's potential fall has destabillized he already tipsy EU. The powerful UN Human Rights Committee leader has announced his retirement after only 3 years. The president has removed much aid from The UN. Jerusalem has finally officially been recognized as the capital of Israel and a two state solution is closer to reality as a result. 3 nations have announced they are changing their currency to Cryptocurrency (Bangledesh, Venezuela, and Estonia). South Africa has announced it will nationalize its Federal bank taking back control of their economy. A massive number of resignations/early retirements among American politicians and CEO's. Isis, which many said would take 5 years to defeat, has collapsed.

Now 8chan corrupted as well. Q claimed his trip code was decoded. This would take a super computer. Q claimed it was Snow White that did it. SW is code for The CIA and its 7 AI computers which are each named for the 7 Dwarves.

12. Change in response to Trump over Obama: its not about his personality! Something in the World power structure has changed. In Saudi Arabia he participated in a sword dance which is done there before going into battle. In China he was invited into the Forbidden city. Even as he gave speeches saying that trade laws had to be more fair to America he seemed to be treated like a conquering hero. Q posts suggested that the worlds leaders are forming an alliance to take out the Rothschilds network of federal banks.

13. Speculation on Q’s hints about Obama. Early Q posts lead me to believe Obama is also an asset. His relationships and knowledge after 8 years would allow DJT to act quickly with good intel. Obama would have tried to make a deal knowing Trump and the Nation wanted prosecutions. Remember how trump looked when he came out of their first meeting at WH that lasted 3 times as long as scheduled. Obama told him how powerful the Deep State really was and that they needed to work together to overcome them. Q said that politicians were being recruited to help with part of the mission. He asked who was helping and then began asking about Obama. Q often gives the answer to the first question in the second question. He asked who knew where the bodies were Buried. Much later he asked again and answered it saying, The person who put them there. Was that Obama?

14. Number of posts and comments on Q has changed how search engines auto fill queries: Facebook, Twitter, and 4chan are all buzzing. Google auto complete has response to "when is HRC going to"...auto fills to prison auto completes due to all the posting on this topic to least partly b/c of Q.

15. The news programs are having to start retracting fake news. Something behind the scenes has changed for them to do that. Q talked about the fake news and that it would get dealt with. He also said only 20% of what is happening will be seen by the public and the rest would be behind the scenes.

Regarding the ankle bracelet controversy I'm really puzzled that we're supposed to believe that super VIPs such as McCain, Clinton...are forced to wear such devices. I mean we've been hearing and reading so many tales about the capabilities of the deep state to monitor anyone on earth with electronic surveillance devices, remote mind control and all kinds of exotic tech that it beggars belief they would rely on a good old ankle bracelet normally used for common criminals. Difference between Military Tribunal and Federal Court proceedings:

How military and civilian courts would differ:

MILITARY COMMISSION

• CRIMES: Defined by the Defense Department
• PRESIDING OFFICIAL: A military lawyer, called a judge advocate, who is appointed and acts as a member the panel.
• DELIBERATORS: A panel of three to seven military officers.
• DEFENSE: Appointed by the defense secretary or someone he names as the appointing authority.
• RULES OF EVIDENCE: A military lawyer is assigned to represent the accused, who can hire a civilian lawyer as well. The civilian lawyer could be barred from sensitive proceedings and evidence. The presiding officer decides whether admit or exclude evidence. There are rules governing suppression of evidence.

V. THE LAW OF WAR DISTINCTION BETWEEN THE LEGAL CATEGORY OF “ENEMY COMBATANT” AND THAT OF “CIVILIAN”

B. Definitions in the Military Order, the DOD Orders, and the Military Commissions Act

In response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the government has authorized the military detention of both citizens and non-citizens as enemy combatants, but it has defined the term only in relation to non-citizens (aliens). The executive branch did this initially in the Military Order of November 13, 2001,[394] and subsequently for Guantanamo detainees in the DOD Orders of July 7, 2004, and July 14, 2006, creating the Combatant Status Review Tribunal (CSRT).[395] The Military Order extends in part to past and present members of al-Qaeda that engaged in, aided or abetted, or conspired to commit, acts of international terrorism, or acts in preparation therefore” that are intended to cause injury to the United States or its citizens.[396] The Military Order also includes anyone, whether or not a member of al-Qaeda, who has “knowingly harbored” such persons.[397]

The definition contained in both DOD Orders states:

[T]he term “enemy combatant” shall mean an individual who was part of or supporting Taliban or al Qaeda forces, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners. This includes any person who has committed a belligerent act or has directly supported hostilities in aid of enemy armed forces.[Footnote 398]

Footnote 398: Order of July 7, 2004, supra note 26, para. a; Order of July 14, supra note 26, para. b. This definition was referenced by the Court in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld, 126 S. Ct. 2749, 2761 n.1 (2006). The Court in Hamdan, however, did not address the legal sufficiency of the Order because Hamdan did not contest military jurisdiction. 126 S. Ct. at 2759; see also discussion supra notes 45 & 373.

Taken together, these executive branch definitions, at least for the purpose of military tribunal jurisdiction, must be interpreted narrowly in order to avoid exceeding the limitations of the law of war and the Constitution. Even conceding that al-Qaeda and associated forces refers to an armed force associated with the Taliban, under the Military Order’s definition of enemy combatant, a person who “harbors” a member of al-Qaeda may not be a member himself and may not be acting under the command of the Taliban or al-Qaeda. Such a person would not qualify under the law of war as an enemy combatant, and constitutional restrictions on military jurisdiction preclude trial by military tribunal.[399] Likewise, the scope of the “supporting” language in the DOD Orders’ definition of enemy combatant must be limited to direct participation in hostilities unless the person is acting under the command of the Taliban or al-Qaeda.[400] Finally, as noted earlier, persons who directly support hostilities will be treated as combatants if involved in actual fighting on the battlefield, but they retain their civilian status under the law of war for acts in support of the enemy’s cause outside the battlefield.[401]

Although these executive branch definitions of enemy combatant remain in effect, Congress adopted its own definition of the particular enemy combatants who are subject to military-commission trial in the Military Commissions Act of 2006.[402] The MCA characterizes those persons subject to the Act as “alien unlawful enemy combatants,” and exempts from its scope “lawful enemy combatants.”[403] In § 948a(2)(B) the MCA, consistent with the law of war, defines “unlawful enemy combatant” to include members of the enemy army who go in disguise.[404] However, the category of “unlawful enemy combatant” is also defined under § 948a(1)(A)(i) to include “a person who has engaged in hostilities.”[405] Unless the word “person” in (1)(A)(i) is interpreted as limited to members or associates of the enemy’s army, the MCA could be applied to civilians protected from military tribunal jurisdiction under the law of war.[406] Even if the Supreme Court is prepared to approve the treatment of civilians engaged in active hostilities as combatants subject to military-commission trials, that narrow exception is limited by the law of war to direct participation on the battlefield and does not extend to other actions that are hostile to the United States that take place outside the zone of combat.[407] It would also contravene law-of-war and constitutional limitations to interpret the definitional language in the MCA as extending the scope of “unlawful enemy combatant” to aliens who provide financial or other assistance or support to enemy armed forces outside the battlefield.[408] In the final analysis, any effort by the government to use the enemy-combatant definitions contained in the executive branch Orders or the MCA to extend combatant status to non-members of enemy armed forces who are not acting under the command of the enemy army and are not directly participating in hostilities on the battlefield would be inconsistent with the fundamental law-of-war distinction between civilians and combatants.[409] In addition, the executive branch cannot use overbroad definitions of enemy combatant, even if authorized by Congress, to justify military trials of such civilians without encroaching on the jurisdiction of the civilian courts and violating jury trial rights guaranteed by the Sixth Amendment and Article III.[410]
