This video is from 2022.. Interesting one, regarding on Assange.... and Trump!!! He is talking out of both sides of his mouth... as always... and saying nothing and knows and means nothing!!!

If they extradite Assange in US... I expect that there is only one among the candidates... who would pardon him... also Snowden... and that s RFKj... He already said that!

    Text:
What’s the plea deal the US is reportedly offering Assange?

According to The Wall Street Journal, the US government is contemplating offering a plea deal to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Insiders revealed that the Justice Department might dismiss the 17 charges under the Espionage Act if Assange agreed to plead guilty to a lesser offense of mishandling classified information, which is only a misdemeanor.

Assange could potentially accept this plea deal from his current location at London's HM Prison Belmarsh, where he has been detained since April 2019.

The plea bargain would bring an end to the legal battle the whistleblower has been engaged in over his extradition to the US. In addition, any time spent in prison in London would be considered time served, potentially resulting in Assange being released shortly after the deal is finalized.

In response, one of Assange’s defense attorneys, Barry Pollack, said in a statement: “It is inappropriate for Mr. Assange’s lawyers to comment while his case is before the UK High Court other than to say we have been given no indication that the Department of Justice intends to resolve the case and the United States is continuing with as much determination as ever to seek his extradition on all 18 charges, exposing him to 175 years in prison.”

Britain’s High Court is expected to decide shortly whether to grant Assange a further right to appeal his extradition.

‘INCREDIBLY FRIGHTENING’: JULIAN ASSANGE’S US EXTRADITION WOULD LIKELY LEAD TO HIS DEATH'

    Source: https://www.bitchute.com/video//-vTK-Jj2ltc/
-2.min --25/3/24-Julian Assange’s brother Gabriel Shipton says the possibility of his brother being extradited to the US is “incredibly frightening” because it would most likely lead to his death.

“I’m very, very nervous about the decision coming down,” Mr Shipton told Sky News Australia.

“I think we’re pretty confident that Julian will be given leave to appeal and an appeal hearing date set down the track.

“But they could always rule against him, and that is incredibly frightening.

“Julian being put on a plane to the United States where expert witness testimony has found that him being extradited would likely lead to his death.

“So it’s a very, very frightening scenario if the judges rule against him today.”

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange faces a further wait to see whether he can appeal against his extradition to the US.

Assange has been in a UK prison since 2019 and is wanted by the US for disclosing secret military files in 2010 and 2011.

In 2021, the UK High Court ruled that he should be extradited to the US, dismissing claims that his poor mental health meant he might take his own life in a US jail.

He is now facing a further wait to find out whether he can bring an appeal against his extradition to the US, the UK High Court has ruled.

UK Court hands Assange a partial victory in the Biden DOJ's attempt to extradite him.

US must provide explicit assurances that Assange 1) can raise a 1st Am defense, 2) will have the same rights as US citizens and 3) will never face the death penalty.

    Deadline is April 16.

In the meantime, Assange remains in Belmarsh, the high security UK prison where he has been held for 5 years.

Every press freedom and civil liberties group in the West has urged Biden DOJ to drop this prosecution as a grave threat to press freedom:

The goal is not to bring Assange to the US.

Biden WH doesn't want the sideshow of a trial; daily protests; discovery into CIA; Assange on the stand; Biden as the first-ever president to imprison a publisher.

They want to kill Assange through conviction-free imprisonment.

The fact that any of this is even in question is shocking. Biden is actually considering the death penalty for journalism? Yes, he is. Where are all the “liberals” at CNN, NBC News and the Washington Post? Totally shameful.

The British High Court in London has put the extradition of Julian Assange on hold until the United States provides assurances that he would get a fair trial in the U.S. without facing the death penalty. If those assurances are not met, Assange will be granted the right to a full appeal hearing. Speaking outside the court Tuesday, Stella Assange called for the Biden administration to “drop this shameful case” against her husband. “Julian should never have been imprisoned for a single day,” she said. We speak with MP Jeremy Corbyn, who led the U.K. Labour Party from 2015 to 2020 and who has been calling for all charges against Assange to be dropped. “The pressure needs to now go on to the Biden administration,” Corbyn says. “If Julian goes down for this, every serious journalist around the world is going to be slightly more cautious about exposing war crimes, about exposing corporate greed.”/Democracy Now/
