Good catch! The first thing I noticed on that picture were the turn of the 20th century dresses... just like the Maria Orsic photo, take an old photo and photoshop it, and the Orsic one has been caught out too.

• 'Cold gun!' shouted Halls, a veteran assistant director who worked on Fargo and The Matrix Reloaded
• When Baldwin pulled the trigger, a bullet was fired, killing the cinematographer and injuring the director
• Gutierrez-Reed is the daughter of legendary Hollywood armorer Thell Reed who trained her from a young age
• She recently served as head armorer on a film for the first time, on The Old Way, starring Nicolas Cage
• Meanwhile, troubling reports highlight safety concerns on the set of Baldwin's Western film, Rust
• Production crew on the set of Rust walked out on Thursday morning in a row over safety and long hours
• On Thursday, when they arrived to pack up, they found a team of non-union workers waiting to replace them
• Halyna Hutchins decided to stay on the set and film with Alec Baldwin and the film director Joel Souza
• She had been advocating on behalf of her team for better working conditions, but was killed by the bullet

The armorer and assistant director who handed off a fatal prop gun to Alec Baldwin have been identified, after it was revealed that some crew members walked off the set of the movie Rust over safety concerns before the tragic shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

A search warrant released Friday said that armorer Hannah Gutierrez laid out three prop guns on a cart outside the filming location, and first assistant director Dave Halls grabbed the gun from the cart and brought it inside to Baldwin, unaware that it was loaded with live rounds.

Seconds later, filming a scene inside an Old West-style church, Baldwin apparently aimed towards the camera and pulled the trigger, accidentally killing Hutchins as she filmed him, and injuring director Joel Souza, who stood behind her.

The gun that fired the fatal shot was a vintage-style Colt revolver, DailyMail.com has exclusively learned. The movie, set in 1880's Kansas, stars Baldwin as the infamous outlaw Harland Rust, whose grandson is sentenced to hang for an accidental murder.

A call sheet from the set identified the armorer's name as Hannah Gutierrez Reed, according to the Wall Street Journal. Gutierrez-Reed, 24, is the daughter of legendary Hollywood armorer and firearms consultant Thell Reed, who trained her from a young age, she said in a recent podcast interview.

She said in the podcast that she had recently completed her first film as head armorer on The Old Way, starring Nicolas Cage. 'I almost didn’t take the job because I wasn’t sure if I was ready, but doing it, it went really smoothly,' she said in the interview last month.

Halls is a veteran assistant director with scores of credits on productions involving prop guns, including Fargo, The Matrix Reloaded, and the TV cop comedy Reno 911.

In 2000, Halls was the second unit's first assistant director on The Crow: Salvation, the sequel to the film in which Bruce Lee's son Brandon Lee was killed in an on-set firearms mishap in 1993.

Definitely something very rotten about this Baldwin shooting. I'm not in the movie industry, so not an expert, but I think it inconceivable that:

• A live round finds its way on set (by accident)
• A live round finds its way into a prop gun (by accident)
• That prop gun is even able to fire a live round.

From what I've heard so far, they can't. Ergo, Baldwin fired a real gun.

Now ask, how:

• A real gun found its way on set (by accident)
• Star actor aims real gun at chest of a crewmember sitting behind the camera.

Accidents are by definition accidental. Too many extraordinary conditions have been met here for a chance event.

Do we know that the one bullet hit two people, or were two separate shots fired? If the latter, an intentional act becomes even more probable.

You have a point... I had a go at shooting an air pistol when I was a kid, and I was told with great emphasis, "never point a gun at anyone, even if you think it's not loaded".

You have a point... I had a go at shooting an air pistol when I was a kid, and I was told with great emphasis, "never point a gun at anyone, even if you think it's not loaded".

Exactly, who grabs a gun and instantly pulls the trigger? I've been around guns my whole life. The first thing I do is check to see if it's loaded. Checking to see if it's loaded is not by pulling the trigger.

A reminder of this very bizarre picture that's been posted before.

No clue what the the situation is here, or the context. It could be nothing but a harmless joke. But that Hanks has a black eye too makes it even more curious. One theory, one school of thought, claims that a popular method of injecting adrenochrome is (somehow) through the eye cavity, and the procedure results in a black eye. Hence the black eye "club". But that could be just crazy talk, I have no idea.
