    Default China

    Just thinking it might be a good idea to start a thread where we can focus on China in the new political arena.

    There are so many theories flying around...it's hard to figure out what is true & what's not.

    Like...Does China own our debt? Has China bought up a large portion of the U.S.? Anyone with real knowledge, please let us know! Thanks!

    America Owes China $1.8 Trillion - And That's Not A Problem For Anyone
    April 2017

    ~~~China purchases TRILLIONS of dollars worth of U.S. Treasury bills and bonds using their gold and silver......... as stated before they have 1.8 trillion of our bonds that's 1/15 of are GDP that's no leverage at all .
    https://www.forbes.com/sites/timwors.../#561e42352302
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The national debt (or government debt) of the People's Republic of China is the total amount of money owed by the government and all state organizations and government branches of China. As of March 2016, it stands at approximately CN¥ 28 trillion (US$ 4.3 trillion), equivalent to about 41% of GDP... Our's is 1/15 th of our GDP to them.
    See where there debt is way larger than our's per GNP, no one talks about this because it doesn't fit into the fear mongering that they want, remember we have to have an enemy don't we. How else could you justify the defense budget. As soon as they can get us scared of an alien invasion China will not be a threat.
    Many decades ago, China sold sovereign bonds worldwide to investors in many nations. They sold tens of thousands of these bonds on U.S. soil to American citizens on the recommendation of our government, indicating it was a solid investment.
    Over the last sixty years, China has refused to pay to these bondholders either the principal or interest on these full faith and credit sovereign bonds. (To say nothing of the hundreds of billions also owed to U.S. artists from unpaid royalties on the more recent sale of pirated CD’s and videos, but that's another story).
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Here is some info on land purchases:
    https://modernfarmer.com/2017/07/the...ennessee-know/
    Foreign entities are snapping up American farmland more quickly than ever, but the precise patterns are hard to keep track of; the USDA compiles raw data, but that data requires someone to analyze and make sense of it. And that’s exactly what the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting has done.
    It’s a tough job, though. As they note, the data itself “has errors and often has incomplete information,” making it difficult to paint a complete picture. But what we can say for for sure is that between 2004 and 2014—the latest decade covered by the USDA data—foreign ownership of American farmland has doubled to 27.3 million acres. That’s slightly larger than the entire state of Tennessee. Of that, 21.5 percent is cropland; the rest, forest and pastureland. While that represents only about two percent of total farmland, the value of the foreign-owned U.S. farmland soared from $17.4 billion (in today’s dollars) to $42.7 billion during that same time period, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture data.
    I saw that China starts small then inches in countries that have trouble paying debt back. There is movement in Fiji, Samoa, New Caledonia and just recently Africa. In Australia here in the Northern Territory they have just paid for a 100 year lease on a port up near darwin and are buying up land here in Australia at an alarming rate. Personally Id rather lease it to them but our government hasn't the balls to say no. Ah well we shall see soon enough i guess.I think its sad actually but thats just me I guess. Glenn.
    When I listened to Luke Rudkowski’s video in post #2 about “Why the China World Order is here on purpose”, I had to think of a picture I made in Shanghai last year of the Chinese Wallstreet Bull.
    It’s called the Bund Bull, because it's located in the Bund, Shanghai's financial district.
    However, the Wall Street's Bull remains #1 despite Shanghai's attempts to make theirs bigger and better.
    A top official has dismissed reports in Zambia which queried the provenance of some 'meat products' being shipped from China to the African continent.
    In the media reports, an unnamed Zambian woman living in China reportedly issued warnings to Africans not to eat corned beef.
    She claimed that dead human bodies were being collected and marinated before being canned and labelled as corned beef for human consumption .
    With thanks to wikipedia:
    Reports of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners and other political prisoners in China have raised increasing concern by some groups within the international community. According to the reports,[1] political prisoners, mainly Falun Gong practitioners, are being executed "on demand" in order to provide organs to recipients. The organ harvesting is said to be taking place both as a result of the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong and because of the financial incentives available to the institutions and individuals involved in the trade.
    Chinese drywall installed as people rebuilt after Katrina, became a major scandal because it would start smelling like rotten eggs and causes a whole host of health problems.
    Who was injured by the product?
    Problem drywall is a problem that isn't going away. As of 2015, over 4,000 homeowners have reported that drywall imported from China has caused health problems and metal corrosion in their homes, according to the CDC. The contaminated drywall has high levels of sulfur, which may be responsible for a rotten egg smell in affected homes, blackened or corroded pipes, failure of air conditioners and other household appliances, and health problems such as asthma, coughing, headaches, sore throats, and irritated eyes.
    Most of the contaminated drywall was installed in 2006 and 2007 following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, when a spike in home construction caused a shortage of drywall made in the United States. The federal Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has received complaints from homeowners in 44 states, although the bulk of reports come from Florida and several other states in the south.
    This article discusses the major complaints associated with China-manufactured drywall, legal claims based on drywall problems, and what you should do if you think you have contaminated drywall in your home.
    Signs of Contaminated Drywall Problems
    Homeowners with contaminated drywall usually notice:
    a rotten egg smell within the home
    corrosion or blackening of metal items within the walls or protruding from the walls, and
    frequent failures of air conditioning units and other appliances and electronics.
    The federal Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued guidelines for identifying contaminated drywall. The guidelines recommend a two-step process: first a threshold inquiry and then, if the threshold is met, a further investigation seeking corroborating evidence.
    Threshold Inspection
    In order to meet the threshold inspection, homeowners must (1) have blackened copper electrical wiring or air conditioning evaporator coils, and (2) have had the drywall installed between 2001 and 2008.
    However, because metal corrosion may be caused by many factors, the presence of blackened wiring in the home does not definitively point to contaminated drywall. For this reason, the CPSC advises homeowners and contractors to look for further evidence that drywall is the likely culprit.
    According to the CPSC, contaminated drywall is indicated if two of the below corroborating conditions are present and drywall was installed between 2005 and 2008 -- or if four of the below corroborating conditions are present and the drywall was installed between 2001 and 2004:
    copper sulfide or sulfur in the home as confirmed by tests
    drywall is marked as coming from China
    high levels of strontium in drywall core
    high levels of sulfur in drywall core
    elevated levels of hydrogen sulfide, carbonyl sulfide, or carbon disulfide emitted from drywall when tested in a chamber, and
    corrosion of copper metal when placed in a test chamber with drywall samples.
    To learn more about the CPSC guidelines -- including details about the tests and results -- visit the CPSC's Drywall Information Center at www.cpsc.gov/info/drywall/. The CPSC will revise the guidelines as more information becomes available.
    Health Problems Associated With Problem Drywall
    Is Chinese drywall making you sick? Health problems that may be caused by contaminated Chinese drywall include:
    irritated and itchy eyes and skin
    difficulty in breathing
    persistent cough
    bloody nose
    runny nose
    recurrent headaches
    sore throats
    sinus infections, and
    asthma attacks.
    Although scientific research has yet to document a definitive link between health risks and contaminated drywall, health advocates suspect a causal link does exist. That's because consumers report that symptoms disappear or lessen when they are away from the home, and then reappear or worsen when they are in the home. In order to establish causality, consumers must prove that their health problems are caused by the drywall and not by other factors. (To learn more about what plaintiffs must prove in a toxic tort case, see Nolo's article Toxic Torts: Legal Theories of Liability.)
    RELATED ADS
    Property Damage Caused by Problem Drywall
    Contaminated drywall may also cause property damage in homes.
    Damage to Electronics and Appliances
    Consumers allege that the contaminated drywall corrodes piping and wiring, which causes electronic devices and household appliances to work intermittently or fail completely. Examples of components and devices that may be affected by contaminated Chinese drywall include:
    central air conditioning evaporator coils
    refrigerators
    dishwashers
    televisions, and
    video game systems.
    Costs of Remediation
    Homeowners affected by contaminated Chinese drywall may find themselves saddled with large remediation costs -- expenses incurred in removing the contaminated drywall and installing new, problem-free drywall. As of yet, there is no standard recommendation for remediation. For example, it is unclear whether removal of sheetrock is necessary to rid the home of problems associated with the contamination.
    Decreased Home Value
    Not surprisingly, the market value often decreases in homes that have -- or are suspected to have -- contaminated Chinese drywall.
    Baby Steps...Ah, yes....the human trafficking. After watching Corbett's report on China( which I'm still trying to process; thanks, Norman),
    hearing all these "top" names connected with The Global Corporate Empire...KNOWING they are all a part of the Pedo Empire as well, is SO sick one can hardly comprehend it all!
    Interesting to hear about the "fake" rice....like I said...who knew?!
    GMB1961....I wondered about Australia being so close to China; appreciate your take on it. The Africa angle shows this does seem to be a world wide phenomenon!
    For anyone needing a "primer" on China, I would HIGHLY recommend Corbett's "China and The New World Order" posted above!! Thanks, Norman!! My head is still spinning from that one!
    I would never buy chinese dry walls to build my home lolll and I bet most American Chinese would not either.
    I would try to avoid their plastic salad too, and the allowed minimum melanine in the feed for their fishes, fishes that we buy here in Canada.
    Their teas are also often tainted, and everything else. Their view of human needs and rights if absolutely terrible. And I speak here of something culturally based.
    I do not see much good to be under Chinese new world order.
    Default Re: China
    I remember when all this began with Nixon and the fanfare over the diplomatic trip to China (was it during Moa Tse Tung rule?). Soon after the trade began.
    Before then China was a mystery - a secret place unknown to the western world. In the following years all we ever heard about was the trade deficit with China, and how each president was going over there to right the wrong. But it never happened. The trade deficit continued to grow. Then, suddenly, around 1989 (solidified by maybe 2001...) all talk of trade deficits stopped and the era of free trade/cheap money arrived.
    The world-wide market, where all goods cost relatively the same in every country, allowed investors and speculators to leverage all middle class citizens from all countries and reap profits never before dreamed (thus the jobless recovery of '08). This effectively outstripped the ability of the poor to climb the economic ladder, since the bottom third were the ones rendered jobless, had no credit and were also forced to pay the highest for all goods and services because of their inability to bargain on a level playing field (they also pay most of the fines, fees, and surcharges for numerous violations of payment protocols).
    Since then, in Canada, the presence of the dragon has grown exponentially. Their influence is deep and their pockets deeper. All our major cities have seen many Chinese buyers with Vancouver being the hardest hit. The cost of housing there is simply unaffordable. People now live in the outlying cities and towns and only the wealthiest live in the city proper.
    With well over a billion people, China has many problems on the domestic front. Bringing the vast majority of its people into the 21st century is a priority for the government. Judging from our own experience in the west I would say that China will modernize quickly and become nice compliant consumers just like us.
    But as China modernizes its priorities are changing and it finds itself with much to protect. China in a way has had no choice but to militarize and then defend its interests. As its interests broaden so has the might of its military. Since China is a newcomer to the scene it would not be surprising to see new tactics used that could overwhelm the west in a manner never seen before.
    This might also be a reason the US deep state is in such a tizzy these days. They would like to beat the Chinese to the punch with their 'new world order' but Trump has thrown a wrench in the works.
    China is clever, resourceful, and daring. They are formidable opponents and should never be underestimated. Their weakness is in their domestic policies. The Chinese are an autocratic secular society with communist sympathies and a central government that rules with an iron fist. This does not sit well with many of its citizens.
    China's influence will only grow in the coming years. To understand what the Chinese are capable of the fate of Taiwan might be a good indicator, with the South China Sea a further proof.
    China means business. And business means...control, conflict...war.
    It's the same story in Aus. - being in the construction game, I have been involved in the highrise unit explosion where a good part of units are sold off the plan to chinese investors before building commences.
    The deep state knew exactly what would happen when the factories and jobs were shifted off-shore - not only was the middle class manufacturing sector decimated, but also left behind as the next level of inovation and modernisation occured elsewhere.
    That said, the creditors to US Inc. are the American people (not US citizens) and not the Chinese people - no matter how much debt is racked up by US Inc. (based on the full faith and credit of 'we the people'). The same goes for Canada or Australia or any other country managed by a corporation masquerading as government in a backruptcy reorganisation.
    As proof of this - corporations only exist in a bankruptcy.
    In the commercial system we operate under, all title to property resides with the state, then the City of London and ultimately with the Vatican.
    As proof of this check the title certificate to your property where you are listed on the front as tenant or joint tenant (not owner) and see what parish the title is registered under. Why a parish if there is separation of church and state?
    Under bifurcation of title, where allodial title is split into legal title (10% controlling interest) and possessory title (90% usufruct) - all one purchases is a lien position on the legal title, usually at least 3rd in line after the state and the bank, if there is a mortgage involved, and any other parties that may have laid claim to that title.
    If you are the tenant on the title and the state and bank are listed as lien claimants, then what do you 'own'?
    So if a chinaman or a mexican man or whoever, comes into America and purchases property in some 'citizen capacity' subrogating his rights for the benefit/privilege of gaining lien position on title to said property - then short of excavating the dirt and shipping it off shore or getting his countrymen together to invade and take it by force - all he has is the usufruct of said property within the code of the corporation that granted that privilege.
    If, as some suggest, Trump with his expertise in bankruptcy management, has been installed by the military to manage a reset, where the cabal has pillaged the system to the point of collapse - perhaps on the other side we might see the masses of funds stolen by the banksters and co. returned to the original creditors, the people, for a long awaited return to prosperity.
    No proof of this last - just reading between the lines and listening to the opinion of others much smarter than I and, like most on this forum and elsewhere -
    still waiting.
    Just some musings, things picked up over the years.
    Democracy is not naturally a Chinese idea at all. This is a concern for the world- that the new rising hegemon is an authoritarian state with little to no transprency or accountability. My theory is that the magnificent Chinese culture did not really have a communist revolution, rather it swapped emperors. Chinese characteristics, including a 5-10 thousand year old culture continued through the trauma of the 'emperor swap'.
    The Chinese were conducting civil service exams 5000 years ago. They regard the rest of the world as largely uncivilised and not to be trusted. Due to the cultural continuity I mentioned, one can look into history for a guide as to what kind of culture they are.
    To have this fantastic ancient society for so long, based on an elite , and Emperor, with God like status, plus a state civil service (the mandarins) who were powerful, secretive and corruptible is really alien to western society with its roots in Greek philosophy, debate, and democracy.
    Surely this is ancient history and of no relevance today? Not so. State operators there now are very fractious and secretive. In some ways it resembles the warlordism that has existed for millennia and justified a brutal imperium. There are modern accounts of battles between arms of the state that have pledged loyalties to different state functionaries (warlords).
    I was told that the chinese state is not a monolith, and contains the potential for great strife. Therefore the public loves to see a powerful and brutal emperor.
    There is no trace of individualism within that culture. It appears to be about service to this or that power group- and heroic self sacrifice. This slavery mentality fitted with communist ideas, and today fits an authoritarian corporatist state elite. We see the symptoms of this today with only slight pressure for democracy from the public, more in Hong Kong than anywhere else.
    We see schools tracking pupils with face recognition tech, and the likelihood that chinese ai will or is tracking most citizens in this way through a network of cameras, that the ai can access in real time. sinister? certainly authoritarian.
    We see the idea of people being given an on line 'rating' in terms of what they say, think and do. This rating is not a simply scoring system, it is being used to reward and punish - in the real world.
    We are seeing communities of Chinese flourishing around the world, these people are often rich buyers and investors. They mostly operate with ethnic exclusivity, secrecy as to their dealings, and exert disproportional influence over the host states. Good luck to them, but the sounds of dissent within these communities towards the Chinese state are infrequent.
    It is likely that Chinese corporate and state power, which is integrated, will spring from these communities.
    I have been told that a common subject for discussion at Chinese dinner tables is how China is rising back to its natural position of global dominance.
    Their general conduct internationally has not been as bad as the west in recent years. They are aware that most rising powers have historically had to challenge the current hegemon in bloody war. They are keen to avoid this, or I suspect, delay it until they can be certain of the outcome.
    Chinese military spending is a third of us spending. however value for money is important to consider. Instead of the Economist's hamburger index, what about the 'fifth generation fighter jet' index. This would suggest that the Chinese military budget based on purchasing power parity is already greater than the us.
    David Icke would say that all is going according to plan. The plan being to build up to a huge military confrontation that will kill 90% of humans. There is plenty of evidence that this scenario is methodically being built year after year.The Chinese mentality spans millennia, and I would not be surprised if many had already concluded- with good reason- that the western culture they oppose is terminally uncivilised , cannot be changed or controlled, and inevitably must be destroyed.
    How does humanity arrest this process?
    The west could do a lot worse that taking a cold hard look at its own conduct through Chinese eyes. The best achievements of the west- the liberal democratic example- DOES inspire many Chinese. The west must build on this example rather than what it is currently doing which is corrupting and dismantling it.
    Thanks, Ernie & Zanshin! It's wonderful to get everyone's slant & "take" from an individual perspective & area of expertise!
    I have learned much from the Corbett Report above that I never knew! How interesting that back in 1903 there was a Yale-China connection! It was called "Yale in China". Schools & hospitals were set up("missionaries", no doubt).
    It was actually an intel network to destroy the republican movement of Sun Yat-sen to steer things to the advantage of the Anglo-American establishment!
    In 1919 Mao was a 26 year old student. He joined a Marxist study group in Peking. It appears he never would have risen to power without the help of the Yale group.
    There were 40 million deaths from starvation from 1958-1962. The Western PTB downplayed this, giving Mao "cover". In 1954 David Rockefeller & H. Kissinger met.
    In 1971 Chase Bank was into "opening China". Deng Xiaoping came to the U.S. in 1979. Then in 1980 Rong Yiren & David R., along with 300 executives of major U.S. corporations met in NYC.
    Chase, CITIC & Bank of China wanted to "...define areas of the Chinese economy most suseptible to American technology & capital infusion!
    Mao died in 1976 & China's economy was turned on its head by the Eight Immortals into a "hybrid" system. During the 1990's China received $111 billions of contracted foreign direct investment!
    It is interesting to note that every American ambassador to China since Kissinger's first visit there has been a member of the Skull & Bones society...except for the Carter administration. Amazing that the Yale-China tie has been going on since 1903!
    I like how Corbett puts it, "There are super gophers at the top puppeteering a system that can play nation states against each other to create a global governmental system."
    It seems obvious the "elite" global controllers decided it was "China's time". It has helped me to get an historical perspective on all this.
    Thank you, James Corbett!!
