Incredible! Is that a three-headed cobra? The stuff of nightmares!

Indeed the stuff of nightmares - an unfortunate freak of nature.

Yep, would be a 3-headed cobra and indeed the stuff of nightmares - an unfortunate freak of nature.

In case you thought you were having a bad hair day, there is the Hairy Frog Fish

The frogfish is certainly not a vegan:

Many of the images above come from the Straits of Lembeh in Indonesia. Here are some of the other marvellous creatures that can be found there:

I am not doubting you, but what makes you say it is fake? (of course, a 3 headed cobra is such a common thing )

The things that would convince me that it is real is simply the amount of people standing around looking at a snake. Are cobras themselves becoming rare? Maybe the people themselves are just curious to see if the guy taking the photo up close will get bit.

At the ground it looks real, but the uniformity of the heads is a bit odd and the skin of the open hood/belly area is a bit fuzzy.

I would think that if there was a snake with 3 heads that it would have a difficult time killing prey - unless they are always in perfect unison. How could it have survived to grow to the size it did? But I am not very knowledgable about snakes with one head, let alone one with three.

This photo went viral so not sure of the origin. I have seen many photos of multiple headed animals - cows, goats, etc. so assumed this was just another. So, I can't attest to its authenticity. If you are seeing something not right there, then maybe it is a hoax - don't know.

Well the original image makes sense... it's a large cobra, would draw a crowd..

of course the 3 headed one is fake..

I mean we all know they have 7 heads right?

This dolphin calmly swims up to a diver to have a hook removed from its flipper as well as the fishing line wrapped around. It's magical how the dolphin remains calm as the diver removes the hook.

It wouldn't surprise me if the bluebird of happiness symbolism was based upon something ancient and real.

The more bird species we live near, the happier we are, new study finds
The greater the diversity of birds we are surrounded by, the better our quality of life, a new German study finds.

“All across Europe, the individual enjoyment of life correlates with the number of surrounding bird species,” the study’s authors write.

Living and working near a bio-diverse population of birds is as important to our happiness levels as our income. A 10% increase in bird diversity increases our satisfaction with life as much as a 10% pay raise, the researchers found.

They used data from the “2012 European Quality of Life Survey” to determine whether there was a connection between birds and happiness in more than 26,000 adults from 26 European countries.

“The happiest Europeans are those who can experience numerous different bird species in their daily life, or who live in near-natural surroundings that are home to many species,”says the study’s lead author Joel Methorst, a doctoral researcher at Goethe University in Frankfurt.

As the most visible elements of the animate nature, birds are good indicators of overall biological diversity, particularly in urban areas.
