    Hi:

As Ed’s first and so far only biographer, I have some responsibility to write a little about subjects that Ed did. Ed mentioned Assange a few times in his writings, I mentioned him a few times in Ed’s bio, and I have an Assange thread. So, I need to note that Assange was the beneficiary of a surprise ruling yesterday, to deny the USA’s extradition request. It was denied on the risk of suicide issue, not on any of the substantive legal issues related to his “crime.”

In the cowardly USA’s media, the issues are rarely discussed honestly if at all, which amounts to the USA’s attempt to criminalize investigative journalism. That may be because the media is complicit. Investigative journalism has been endangered in the USA for many years, and the Assange prosecution should make all journalists on Earth quake in their shoes, but I have not seen a mainstream American journalist take on this issue. Most of the mainstream journalists who call the USA’s effort what it is are British, such as Alexander Cockburn and John Pilger. Chris Hedges is one of the few American journalists speaking out, but he has been marginalized. The only member of the public at yesterday’s hearing was a former British politician.

Ed would have had a lot to say about the Assange issue. As Noam said, the invasion of Iraq is the crime of the 21st century so far. It was no different in kind from Hitler’s invasion of Poland, although Hitler had more excuse. Assange’s crime was exposing the facts of our atrocities there and related issues. It is hard to overstate the hypocrisy of the USA on these issues, but that is what empires do.

    Hi:

Today marks ten years at Avalon! What an oasis it has been. When I began here, Brian was still alive, I was working in high-tech, my big essay was little more than a gleam in my eye, and Avalon is the only forum that has really worked for me. The others were either dead or disappearing, infested by trolls, etc. Kudos to Bill and crew, and all who made my experience at Avalon what it has been. We’ll see how the next ten years go. I have high hopes for them.

    Hi:

OK, it is time to call out all of the conspiracist nonsense that I have been bombarded with in recent months, but it really began soon after Trump’s election in 2016. I graduated from college in 1981, and after a misadventure in Seattle, began my career in LA in 1983, just as the Reagan greed years were on the rise. I witnessed firsthand the disaster of Reagan’s deregulation of the Savings and Loan industry. It was a capitalistic raping of the taxpayer, as usual. In the go-go 1980s, Michael Milken, Ivan Boesky, and Donald Trump were the capitalistic heroes that dominated the scene. Mr. “Art of the Deal” Trump soon took his companies into bankruptcy. I vividly remember when the Reagan greed years began going sour, and sunk into scandals such the S&L Scandal, the Iran-Contra Scandal, and the like, that the bankers who so eagerly loaned Trump zillions in the midst of the euphoria belatedly realized that they did not ask for any collateral, and they ended up holding the bag on hundreds of millions of dollars of loans that went bad in Trump’s bankruptcies.

After prison, Milken worked hard to rebuild his “philanthropist” image, and his posing with war criminal Tony Blair, genocidist Paul Kagame, and fellow “philanthropist” Bill Gates is quite the photo op. Trump was able to skate through bankruptcies and the like, with babes on his arm such as Marla Maples, and while I stopped watching TV at age 18, I was at some friends’ house in the early 1990s as they watched the Miss America pageant, Trump put it on, and said hi to the TV audience during the broadcast, similar to how he made movies shot at his properties put him into a scene, where an actor had to say “Hi, Mr. Trump.” Trump’s narcissism was evident from the beginning. On 9/11, he was actually on a phone call with a radio show, and the discussion soon was about how with the collapse of the World Trade Towers, one of Trump’s buildings was the tallest in Manhattan. That was literally a few hours after the towers collapsed, and those around him defended it by calling it “Donald being Donald.”

Again, I try to not pay much attention to retail politics, but it is not easy in the USA, with the meaningless pageantry and spectacle. Hillary is a psychopath, and Trump is a narcissist, and both qualities seem to help make for successful political and capitalist careers. A generation of Wall Street psychopaths treated Gordon Gecko as some kind of hero and role model.

So, Trump’s political ascent was no great surprise, and the far right has worshipped Trump from the beginning. Less than a year after he was elected president, one of the many New Age-conspiracist yarns I have seen over the years began to get spun around Trump, called QAnon. A bunch of the New Age-conspiracist talking heads jumped onboard with the Trump the Hero meme, the Deep State nonsense, and the like. Oh, there is a deep state, and the GCs live beyond that, but I don’t trust anything that that merry band has to say on the subject.

Ever since the election, the Trump faithful have been calling the election rigged, I have seen several magic dates come and go, and each one has passed without incident. The Big Revelation never came. At the end of 2020, a Trump caravan was initiated, to converge on Washington, D.C., as Trump whipped up the MAGA faithful, to come witness the miracle, as Trump’s team overturns the election results, in their final great reveal! Well, they arrived yesterday, and we all know what happened with that MAGA crowd. One man wearing horns yesterday is a QAnon faithful, has attended various events, and is getting his 15 minutes of fame these days. But to the New Age-conspiracist crowd, he has suddenly become a provocateur for the far left, and his appearance yesterday was part of a “false flag” attack. Look at all this crap that I have been bombarded with recently (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). It is all at the tabloid-level of evidence, logic, etc., and is about on par with Flat Earth theory. And it is not going to let up, either. They will just keep making it up as they go, making Trump into a folk hero, etc. At what point do followers of that nonsense begin to wake up? Maybe not in this lifetime.

And it can be hard to avoid being cast into that category, as I deal with similar subject matter at times, but my approach could not be more different.

    Enough said for now.

    Best,

    Wade

    Hi:

I plan to let it go soon, but the crazed conspiracism around the election has been something else. From the real left comes this editorial on the real grievances that average Americans have, but how it has been shamelessly manipulated by a demagogue such as Trump. From the mainstream comes this article on how the Trump riot was years in the making.

While some of the QAnon faithful seem to finally be waking up, the conspiracists are dialing it up to 11 (1, 2), and Trump will triumphantly fix it all any day now! The “false flag” stuff is truly insane.

I think that QAnon can finally be put into the Flat Earth bucket, but I doubt that the conspiracists will miss a beat, with more breathless announcements about imminent mass arrests, executions, NESARA, and the rest of those fantasies, and there are people around me who will never stop lapping it all up. I have been seeing this stuff since the mid-1990s, and like Flat Earth theory, some people are able to keep waiting for Santa to come down the chimney until the day they die. We can also drag our delusions with us to the afterlife, so it might be a long “time” indeed before they begin to suspect that anything is awry with their view of reality.

I wrote it long ago, that the conspiracist worldview is fundamentally a victim-oriented one, but the structuralist one can be, too. In a world of scarcity and fear, such ideologies find fertile ground. In the Fifth Epoch, these ideologies of scarcity and fear will become obsolete, as people won’t see in-groups and out-groups, heroes and villains, advocate violence as a solution, etc. Those dark aspects of the human journey will become part of our storied past, but seen like living in caves is today: a primitive part of our journey, which is now in our past. It had a function and relevance at one time, but we moved past it.

    Hi:

Oh, if Ed was alive today, he would have a field day with recent events. George Monbiot called Ed a “genocide denier,” which was just another smear, as Monbiot justified the attack on Serbia.

I have an Assange thread, and I respect his work, but he really made it easy for them by playing rock star with his groupies. Others on the left have also made it easy for their assailants.

Monbiot is supposedly on the left, but not really. He is like the Cruise Missile Left – an imperialist in a liberal costume. His “defense” of Assange has been very tepid, but his employer, The Guardian, has often led the smear attacks on Assange, so Monbiot is being a good boy and licking the hand that feeds him. I corresponded with Monbiot long ago. He might have been kind of left once, but he sold his soul long ago.

From that same ex-Guardian journalist who castigated Monbiot, I discovered that Robert Fisk died last autumn. His “peers” have posthumously smeared him, in cowardly fashion. Fisk was arguably the best journalist in the West on the subject of the Middle East.

The incredible aspect of the smears of Assange is that those journalists are slitting their own throats. The prosecution of Assange is part of a global assault on journalism, and those imperial lapdogs are helping hasten the demise of their profession, so that their work will be indistinguishable from that of those Soviet “journalists” who worked for Pravda. It is kind of surreal to witness these attacks on Assange.

    Hi:

I shouldn’t be surprised that the journalist who castigated Monbiot took him to task for his smears of Ed. I only recently stumbled onto that journalist’s work, but am one of his new fans.

    Hi:

As I write on my essay update, I also constantly read, and have been bearing down to try to only read material that is related to my essay update, but I also cover such a large swath of topics that there is relatively little that is off-limits.

In the past few days, after nearly two months of plunking along on it, I finished Brandon Sanderson’s latest entry in what will surely be his magnum opus, and at this rate, he will finish the series when I am 80. It gives me something to live for.

Seriously, I read fiction and fantasy while I do my primary writing work, to help keep me balanced, mentally and emotionally, and to keep my imagination running at full steam (hiking helps, too). That is all important for being able to do my public writing, especially this essay update, which is going well. As I stated before, I decided, once I decided to take 2021 off and write, to approach the update a little differently, and I have been concentrating on the earliest chapters of the essay. I have been going deep on quite a few scientific subjects to do that section of my essay justice. Of course, I always write at the popularized science level, so it is not as deep as a scientific specialist in those areas, but deep enough to do the subjects justice, and the heavyweight scientists who have weighed in on my work have agreed that I am doing them justice. I write with them in mind, as well as my primary audience, the lay audience. I am a layman, too.

That stated, I just finished The Age of Wood. It was not quite what I expected. I would be a fool to not learn something new in every book like that that I read, and this one provided unexpected horizons for me, such as how wood has played into architecture and engineering over the millennia. The Hidden Life of Trees it definitely was not, as the author of The Age of Wood saw trees in purely utilitarian terms: how they benefit humanity.

The ending of The Age of Wood was particularly disappointing, and I suppose that any book like that, which cannot even seem to glimpse the Fifth Epoch, is going to disappoint me. One of the limits of a book like that will be its materialism, but that is only part of it. The scientific mindset is so deficient in many ways, not the least of which is the naïveté of scientists, which Bucky remarked on and Brian confessed to. Brian was nearly the epitome of the kind of scientist needed to help usher in the Fifth Epoch, but there are so few of them out there.

The naïveté and blindness of scientists is related to what can be seen with “skeptics,” as McLuhan so brilliantly covered in his masterpiece. Science does not equal materialism, and it is irrational to think so. Science is a process, it has its limits as it is currently conceived, and the greatest scientists knew it well. It is the hacks that turned science into a religion, such as Carl Sagan, who was a kind of charismatic bully/know-it-all, to those who knew him well, and he was a high priest of materialism in his day.

Today, I read a few articles on science, intelligence, and conspiracies, which began with an article on how to read the news like a scientist. One article was on science denial, the one on intelligence argued for stupidity to be a scientific study, and one on conspiracies argued that conspiracy theorists have a screw loose. I’ll take these one at a time.

The how to read the news like a scientist article was from a TED talk. I regard TED as infotainment, and by itself, I never take it seriously. God, they featured the libeler Sophal Ear and banned Rupert Sheldrake. Although the talk is from 2019, it is apropos today, and takes the same tack that I have seen in Scientific American in recent years, as Big Pharma now dominates its editorial stance. If you doubt that vaccines are safe and effective, you are a Flat Earther. There are very good reasons to doubt the safety and effectiveness of vaccinations. Medicine and capitalism make very poor bedfellows, and the conflicts of interest in the vaccine industry are mind-boggling. The vaccine industry is one of the most pernicious aspects of the medical racket. Today, nearly every defense of science that I have seen in recent years calls vaccination skeptics irrational Flat Earther types. I fully agree that the strident anti-vaxxers often don’t know much about the science, but pointing to their admitted political fervor should not take the place of evaluating the evidence.

On reading the news like a scientist, as that article advocated, you can’t do any better than Noam and Ed, but, of course, you will almost never see those articles mention them. Noam and Ed saw capitalism for what it is, and its damaging effects to democratic societies, but those scientific defenders never seem to be able to glimpse it.

The one on science denial was almost charming in its naïveté. Once again, vaccination skeptics are science deniers, in that author’s thinking, and the article linked to JAMA, of all things, to argue that the link between vaccinations and autism has been thoroughly debunked. The author mentioned that climate change deniers are prominently funded by the Hydrocarbon Lobby, but can’t seem to see the awesome conflicts of interest in vaccination science.

I am not into the Discovery Institute’s challenges to evolution, so score another point for the author, but the author does what so many others do, in equating anti-evolutionists and climate-change deniers with vaccination skeptics. It is a kind of guilt by association, as they all get lumped together.

The article on conspiracy theorists and their invalid pattern recognition is rich. The fatal flaw in the logic of authors like that is thinking that conspiracies simply cannot exist, anybody who thinks so has a screw loose, and has invalid pattern recognition. That some people are more prone to seeing conspiracies and believing in paranormal phenomena does not mean that those things don’t exist. My life was wrecked by an international conspiracy, and I don’t have a belief in the paranormal; I have knowledge of it, as did pretty much all of my fellow free energy travelers, and we were almost all scientists, with some from the big time. Beliefs are for people who don’t have the experience of something, and beliefs are a poor substitute for knowledge.

The article on stupidity was refreshing in ways. Bertrand Russell was Noam’s inspiration for his political work. But the article also said that those who oppose GMO foods are scientifically illiterate. God, the conflicts of interest there are once again mind-boggling. I do not trust any genetic “engineering” done by corporations or national security states: they are ethically compromised, as are virtually all organizations on Earth, in our super-Epoch of scarcity and fear.

In the Fifth Epoch, there will not be power structures that are so welcoming to psychopaths and narcissists, science will only vaguely resemble today’s mainstream version of it, and I doubt that the vaccination concept will survive. The irrational and naïve defenses of science that we see today will also go the way of all of our scarcity-based ideologies. It can’t come too soon.

    Best,

    Wade

    Hi:

My wife sent me this link recently, on delusional American exceptionalism, the American Empire, and the USA’s increasing cognitive dissonance. The guy lived in Columbus in the 1990s like I did, so we were neighbors. He lives in Sri Lanka today. His style is a bit more ribald than mine is, but I think that I am a fan. I watched the video at the bottom of his rant, too. It was entertaining.

He does not offer solutions, but I do, and one outcome will be the end of nations. I have written plenty on American insanity these days on the right, with the Trump the Hero meme, and Americans have not been my target audience for many years. That guy actually outlined pretty well why that is: Americans are too deluded, as a group, to pull their heads out of the sand. There might be one here and there, but they will be rare. However, they are rare, anyplace on Earth, so Americans are really not very exceptional.

Default Re: WADE FRAZIER : A Healed Planet

    Hi:

As I keep getting conspiracist fantasies dumped into my email, particularly Steele’s, and yesterday’s was a doozy, it hit me in a way that I had not thought about before. Last week’s storming of the Capitol began this line of thought. What those conspiracists are predicting and advocating is a military coup, under the name of democracy! Really, would it be much different than what Hitler did, or any military coup? According to them, this will be the “good coup,” to restore democracy, the White Hats take out the bad guys, with firing squads on the White House lawn, the confiscation of trillions, etc. As I witness this true insanity, many thoughts come up, and one is recalling what Seth said long ago: the means become the ends. This conspiracist fervor is reminiscent of Ed’s writings on good and bad genocide.

While that scenario answers the prayers of the conspiracists, the rest of the world would rightly see it as a military coup and a triumph of the crazies; what happened last week on steroids. The “false flag” fable that conspiracists began promoting immediately after the riot is pure fantasy, as usual. Nearly every mass shooting in the USA in the past several years has been immediately labeled a “false flag” by the gun-toting conspiracists, or called staged or it never even happened, such as the Sandy Hook massacre.

Of course, it is all tabloid-level conspiracism that won’t happen, and the peddlers of that tripe won’t miss a beat (they haven’t so far, for more than three years and running, ever since the QAnon fantasy was cooked up), make up even more tortured scenarios for why it didn’t happen, and the conspiracist faithful will lap it up, never suspecting that something might be awry.

I don’t want to pick on the conspiracists too much, as that dogmatic and unthinking embracement of obviously false beliefs is something that nearly all people do, even scientists and other supposedly rational and free thinkers. Some just looks crazier than others, and in the USA at least, this Trump the Hero meme is one of the craziest. In a way, it is similar to the Sebastião fantasies among the Portuguese peasantry. Steele is simply retreading it, arguing that JFK, Jr., is still alive and will suddenly appear, alive and well, in the midst of setting matters straight with the firing squads, etc.

The conspiracists have literally invoked a Bible-ish “ten days of darkness” to describe yesterday through the 20th, when Biden will be inaugurated. According to Steele, today is supposed to be “epic.” Trump’s trip to the border wall today seems a little less than epic, but we’ll just see about that.

    Best,

    Wade

    Hi:

As I noted yesterday, Steele predicted that yesterday would be “epic,” and the Trump conspiracist faithful was planning on the big announcement yesterday, of Trump’s final victory over the forces of darkness. Well, I watched Trump’s speech, and other than warning against throwing him out of office before the inauguration date, about all that he did was extol the virtues of his border wall. That may have been his last speech as president. I looked at Steele’s publications at Amazon, and if I am going to be charitable, I can call him batsh*t crazy, and not on some spook assignment. His stuff is pretty much the QAnon canon. Maybe he and his buddy Parkes are merely insane, making it up as they go and truly believing it (JFK, Jr., is alive! ). When their predicted events don’t happen (none of significance ever have, to my knowledge), it doesn’t matter, and they make up new rubbish without missing a beat. For me, the incredible part is not that they just make it up as they go, but they have such loyal followings, and like Flat Earthers, nothing will ever shake their faith. Credible evidence and failed predictions are irrelevant.

I have been calling out pro-Trump conspiracists during the past few weeks, for good reason, such as the above, and I need to make a post on distinguishing what I do (or what Brian and Dennis did) from the crazed conspiracists. Conspiracies exist, and can have great ramifications, although the left denies their existence or importance, for ideological reasons. The JFK hit was certainly the result of a conspiracy, and could well have been related to the ET issue. I bore the brunt of the organized suppression of free energy, and had my youth and idealism to thank for surviving the ordeal with my sanity intact, although my life was ruined. The ET and free energy cover-ups are conjoined in history’s greatest cover-up. Brian hosted a UFO conference as he was just getting his feet wet in the free energy milieu, was approached by the military, and had a life-shortening experience immediately afterward. The closest that he ever came to publicly disclosing it was in the prologue of his last book. Greer later named the people involved. To his life’s end, Brian was afraid that going public with it would give the spooks a reason to finish the job. My close friend was kidnapped and given a peek at what is in Godzilla’s Golden Hoard. The technologies are real, as is the organized suppression and cover-up. That is a life-risking milieu to play in, and it was too rich for me.

While I respect Greer’s Disclosure Project work, he has proven himself to be badly out of his depth in the free energy field, with his naïve forays into it, and his pursuit of that “mini-alien” has been embarrassing to witness, as well as his Charles Atlas impressions. Brian had his Lapis Pig, and Dennis will be a fanatical Christian to his grave. These are the personal idiosyncrasies and foibles that attend the milieu, and each of those men played the hero, to one degree or another, and that role comes with plenty of baggage, although their antics were tame compared to free energy inventors who declared themselves the Messiah and Second Coming. These issues are all part of why I am taking the approach that I am.

One problem with being pushed to the margins is that with almost no venues anywhere near the mainstream that are not hostile, people such as Brian were reduced to interviewing with Jeff Rense and the Natural News guy, who grind conspiracist axes. Late in his life, Brian noted that the more he pursued the truth, the more ostracized he was. If Noam is never on the American media, except as a punching bag, what chance would Brian have (or me?)? Dennis was smeared by the mainstream media almost since the day I met him, and they never let up, with their parades of lies. It primed me for Noam and Ed’s work.

Basically, the conspiracist mindset sees the world as made of good guys and bad guys, and the (often) imaginary elites are the bad guys, while the good guys fight against them. Oh, there are White Hats and Black Hats – we encountered them – but be very careful in trusting anybody who claims to publicly reveal their identities, and I doubt that anybody in that merry band has ever played at the levels where they would encounter them.

Ralph was the epitome of a CIA whistleblower, while Steele is on the other end of the spectrum, with zero credibility, as he spins his wild yarns. Ed eerily predicted where the Internet was headed back in the 1990s, and he and Noam were very open to critiques of their work and revised the Propaganda Model a little over the years. I have yet to see one of those conspiracists address their failed predictions (in the hundreds, easily), or really test their work against reality, like a scholar or scientist would. It is all secret stuff that they are supposedly privy to, which never has any credible evidence for it, and they are never wrong, at least in the eyes of their followers.

I won’t be the guy to do it, but somebody ought to, if it has not happened yet, chronicle the conspiracist claims of Trump the Hero, taking on the Deep State and the satanic pedophiles, and keep a scorecard of their accuracy, and they have not been vague claims, but very specific claims on sealed indictments, mass arrests that have already been made, and the big ones any day now! ( ), and the like. The boys have likely cried wolf at least a thousand times, collectively, by now. At what point can they be permanently dismissed from the ranks of the credible?

I deal in facts, evidence, logic, believe in the scientific ideal, and stay away from much speculation, while those conspiracists do nothing but that, but it is worse, as they claim to know facts and make breathless predictions that never, ever materialize.

Again, retail politics, particularly the American version of it, is meaningless. All retail politics is merely reshuffling the deck of scarcity, and none of that is going to right our sinking ship. Only abundance can do that.

I am not a fan of Joe Biden, who spent his career as a machine politician, but the sitting president is way down the food chain of power on Earth. With JFK’s murder, the office was permanently demoted. The end of World War II really marked the USA’s imperial ascendance and the peak of its global influence, and it basically took over for Europe, overthrowing governments, erecting fascist regimes, engaging in numerous genocides (it was genocidal from the beginning), and acting on merely a larger scale than Rome did two millennia ago.

As I start a YouTube channel, do interviews, update the big essay and publish a book, I’ll steer very clear of conspiracist circles. They don’t get it, and likely won’t, at least until the Fifth Epoch arrives.

    Best,

    Wade

    Hi:

For the past few days, I have been reading The Fourth Phase of Water. It is filled with highly intriguing experimental results. Here is an article by the professor, but the issue is on the fringes today. A scientific critique was published last year. What I am finding particularly interesting is that for mere water, there are numerous competing hypotheses for its behavior. Scientists who had novel experimental findings regarding water’s properties could see their careers end via inquisition, such as what happened to Benveniste.

In fact, this has inspired me to try to consolidate strands of it in my big essay into its own section. I already have a chapter on the orthodox framework and its limitations. I am going to either expand it significantly, or it will get its own chapter, in which I will discuss how scientific findings are ignored if not actively suppressed, if they threaten cherished theories or economic empires. Of course, free energy is chief among them.

It is a huge myth that scientist are free-thinking seekers of truth. Oh, some are, and many start that way, but the realities of the scientific establishment are not conducive to it. Scientists constantly vie for funding, and while some areas of research are “hot,” others are off-limits. Brian worked with Marcel Vogel on just this area of research, as did legends such as Victor Schauberger (whom Wikipedia naturally calls a “pseudoscientist”).

    Hi:

To my post this morning, I don’t want to pick on scientists too much, or the crazed conspiracists (well, a little, for some who are behaving fraudulently), or all those who fail the tests of their integrity (nobody on Earth scores 100% on that test ), or those who had crazed reactions to the mere idea of free energy. This is just what a world of scarcity and fear looks like. I cannot overemphasize that in the Fifth Epoch, virtually nothing about today’s world will survive, because it is all based on scarcity and fear.

But a world of abundance will necessarily be based on energy abundance. Without energy abundance (which humanity has never really experienced before, other than the brief golden ages before that Epoch’s easy energy was exhausted – the “honeymoon period”), true abundance cannot manifest. It really is that simple.

I saw this article today. Americans might finally be beginning to grow up, awaken, and face our evil past and present, instead of the heroic tales of glory and other lies. I do not have too much expectation of that, but it is refreshing to see that in the quasi-mainstream.

    Hi:

Around midnight on Wednesday morning, I was awakened from a sound sleep by the house’s shaking. Almost nothing can wake me up, but it felt for a moment like the world was ending. The shaking was from tree limbs hitting the house, although I could not see any structural damage in the daylight. It took me a few hours to clean up the yard, cutting up some pretty big limbs, and I have a big pile that will go into the yard waste recycler over the next month.

I went to my favorite local trail the next day, to see what the damage was, and returned yesterday to further investigate the big one. I have been hiking on that mountain, year-round, for more than 20 years, and this treefall was likely in the top three. I won’t hike on my favorite trail again until it is cleared, as so many trees were down. The one that really interested me was a hemlock that was leaned up against another tree, as it had uprooted. Attached are pictures of it from last spring, and what I recorded this week. It collapsed on the trail for its full length, and I paced it off, to estimate its height, which was probably between 150 and 170 feet. Glad that I wasn’t there when it came down.

As you can see in the photos, it looks like it came down when another tree came down on its trunk. That kind of “bowling alley” effect can be regularly seen in the treefalls.

That is a good example of why I avoid hiking when it is windy. I have heard tales of people being killed up here by falling trees, and a relative was nearly killed by one, while somebody with him was killed. It does not happen often up here, that people are killed by falling trees, not compared to the other ways that they die in the mountains, but it is one that it pays to be cautious of. A college roommate who lives here was traveling with his family when a windstorm crashed a huge tree onto his house, which came to rest on his son’s bed. He was kind of grateful when he returned home and saw that.

    Best,

    Wade

    Hi:

I’ll do a current events post or two today. I have written plenty about RFK, Jr., in recent months (1, 2, 3), and his recent articles on the COVID-19 vaccines do not disappoint (1, 2). While he acknowledged that the murders of his father and uncle were related, he is not onboard with the conspiracist fantasies out there.

The vaccination industry is a racket, and woe to humanity, for what is happening today regarding the pandemic. Vaccination is neither safe nor effective, and at best, it trades a short-term acute reaction (which is the healthy response of immune systems) to chronic ones that often lead to autoimmune diseases. The science behind vaccinations today is hidden behind carefully guarded trade secrets, so it is even worse than the snake-oil days of proprietary medicine. Capitalism and medicine make very poor bedfellows. Heck, Noam said that that “capitalist democracy” was a contradiction in terms, as capitalism is antithetical to freedom. Ed and Noam’s Propaganda Model was about the distortions of capitalism on the news process.

RFK, Jr.’s, vaccination articles are all based on peer-reviewed literature, not crazed conspiracist rumors. I am sympathetic to his efforts to distinguish what he is doing from “populist conspiracism.” I am kind of in the same boat, and that will be a subject for the next post.

Default Re: WADE FRAZIER : A Healed Planet

    Hi:

I doubt that there has been even one genuine “lone nut” presidential assassination attempt in American history. The “American Way” seems to be to serve up a lone nut scapegoat each time. The first presidential assassination may have been inflicted on Zachary Taylor, and the only presidential attempt that was officially acknowledged to be the result of a conspiracy was Lincoln’s. It was too obvious to deny, as the assassins tried to kill multiple officials at the same time. JFK’s assassination was definitely the result of a conspiracy, and I have little faith in the integrity of any official American investigation. From what I have seen, they are compromised from the outset, or were intended to be cover-ups from the beginning. The very term “conspiracy theory” was hatched by the CIA to discredit anybody who did not swallow the Warren Commission’s frame job.

So, if officialdom cannot be trusted, who can be? That is not an easy question to answer. I have my pantheon of the heroic, but it is a small one. My life was ruined by an international conspiracy, and I have written on the incredible dishonesty and gullibility around that situation by people in the field and around it. Honest, critical thinkers are very hard to come by in this world, particularly those who can let go of their ideologies. But those are the only people who can help my effort. Ideological allegiance is one of the greatest enemies of enlightenment. In a world of scarcity and fear, people chose the ideologies that feed them, and they will rarely relinquish them in their lifetimes. This is the integrity-and-sentience issue, and it does not seem to have much to do with “intelligence.” In fact, the more “intelligent” seem to get mired the deepest at times, as they defend their delusions.

As Ed showed, in the mainstream media, any conspiracy theory will do, if it is about official enemies, and even when shown to be baseless, the conspiracy theories can live forever in the echo chamber, as they attain mythical status. Most of what I was taught while young was a pack of lies.

But, as I began looking into events that may have been conspiratorial, I gradually became appalled at the circus that attended those situations. Some was intentional, to muddy the waters, but what was more disheartening was the sheer craziness of the theorizing by so many others. Some of it was high-profile, such as Washington Post’s publishing that maybe there were two gunmen who took out JFK, but that they were unrelated and it was pure coincidence that they were both shooting at JFK at the same time. So, the media can act the stupidest, but the public at large is often no better.

On one hand, Noam is right on how rabid conspiracism is highly counterproductive to political-economic progress. On the other, Noam has a kind of aversion to conspiracies, which Mike Parenti remarked on. Ed was less conspiracy-averse, and was onboard with the idea that JFK was taken out in a conspiracy that was covered up.

After 9/11 happened, there were so many hard-to-believe actions by the American government that authors who dabbled in satire had to start putting “satire” at the top of their articles, as they were getting mixed up with truly bizarre but actual events, such as the crazed WMD conspiracy that was the rationale for invading Iraq. There was never any credible evidence for it, but the Bush administration just made it up as it went along. So, again, the official conspiracy theories, and how the media parrots them, are by far the most damaging kind of conspiracism, as the invasion of Iraq is the crime of the 21st century so far.

But the fringes can be crazier. I have been swept up in that crap for many years, and do what I can to extricate myself from it. A few issues have triggered this post, one of which is the surreal “Trump the Hero” meme that has come from the far right, and the QAnon fraud is representative of how this stuff works. Even this past weekend, I was barraged with email from the usual suspects, such as Parkes (and this), that incredibly state that Trump’s triumph is still going to happen by inauguration day. The QAnon people are having their worldviews crumble, picking up the pieces of shattered psyches won’t be pretty, and these people bear some responsibility for this sad state of affairs, as well as the lives lost in the Capitol Riot, which are portrayed by the QAnon crowd today as a “false flag,” when all of the identities and arrests that I am aware of were of Trump-ites. The far right is coming unglued right now (1, 2). We’ll see what happens on inauguration day.

I have seen this conspiracist stuff passed off as “myths,” “entertainment,” and “jokes” over the years, when they were finally exposed as completely baseless, but that is a poor excuse for deceiving the public, alleging “facts” that are pure fantasy, and the like. I was also spurred to write this from reading about how a “joke” on the Internet, among teenagers, it seems, is denying that Hellen Keller was blind and deaf, and even a real person (1, 2, 3). It is reminiscent of the arguments and “evidence” of Holocaust Deniers. These are bizarre days, and we’ll see if we make it as a species. This insanity, aided by those conspiracists, is not helping matters.

    Best,

    Wade

    Hi:

Time for a little pandemic news…

I don’t trust any of the big medical institutions, for good reason, and WHO has long been particularly suspect in my book. Its biggest funder today is Bill Gates, and WHO changed its definitions of pandemic and herd immunity, to play into the “vaccinations for everybody” obsession that Gates has. There is plenty of crazy conspiracism circulating around these issues, but the totalitarian, and increasingly unscientific, nature of what Gates is ramming through is a little scary. As I have mentioned plenty, capitalism and medicine make very poor bedfellows, and don’t trust any billionaire “philanthropists.”

Default Re: WADE FRAZIER : A Healed Planet

    Hi:

I recently came up with a theme for my posts while I work on the essay update, on what has not worked so far and why. Current events have spurred this, particularly the “philanthropy” of Bill Gates. I am not really onboard with the NWO stuff and Gates, as far as him being part of some diabolical plan for world domination. I am not going to give him that much “credit.” But he sure isn’t Saint Bill, either.

The idea that “rich philanthropists” are going to right the ship and help make free energy happen is a beginner’s delusion, and one of the most common that I have seen. That book I am currently reading is about water’s social behavior. The first society of life seems to have been bacterial colonies, which I will be writing a lot about in my essay update. Some of the first animals lived in colonies, such as sponges. Trees have social behaviors, as The Hidden Life of Trees makes clear.

Because animals generally reproduce sexually, it demands some kind of social behavior, and display features in fossils provide mute evidence of it. Hive insects form exemplary societies, and there is a lot of biological specialization. Scientists call the “elites” queens, with soldiers, drones, workers, and the like, as human societies have similar role-playing. Among vertebrates, social behaviors are common, especially among herd animals, and humans are herd animals.

Prosimians are generally solitary (except for lemurs, which did not have simian competition), only coming together to mate, but simians are highly social and have dominance hierarchies. Those who reach the hierarchy tops get the safest sleeping berths, the best food, the best mates, and the like, and that general dynamic has held clear up to today’s industrial societies. It has been called “Machiavellian social organization” in simians, and humans are the apotheosis of it. A prominent hypothesis today is that the human line’s growing brain was about enhancing social navigation.

Bonobos are the only female-dominated great apes, and there has never been a female-dominated human society. Men have always sought to dominate their societies, and their plotting has always been accompanied by violence or the threat of it. The only exception was the matrilineal village. With the rise of machines in the industrial revolution, brute strength has been further deprecated, violence has become increasingly unacceptable, women have been rising to prominence as never before, and that can only be a positive trend.

When humans were in their hunter-gatherer phase, men had a genetic predisposition for dominance, but there was no energy surplus to acquire and use to gain societal dominance, so that goal was regularly frustrated, and psychopathic men were often killed by their societies, as societies could not afford them.

When domestication and settled life was invented, then men could pursue dominance again, and they did. The chiefdom put an end to the Neolithic bliss of matrilineal horticultural villages, as men rose to dominance again, through plotting and violence, as they expropriated the energy surplus of horticulture. Herder societies were also male-dominated, as men’s physical strength was needed to manage the herds.

But in a world of scarcity, fear, and ever-present violence, in ways that can be hard for industrial peoples to comprehend, those dominant men had to also create some kind of legitimacy for their rule, as they controlled and distributed the energy surplus. And, of course, their religions justified their dominance. Mystical works such as Michael’s state that those social roles are to an extent baked into our souls. So, this may be deeply ingrained indeed.

When civilization arose, the new professional priesthood wiped out the singing and dancing rituals of hunter-gather societies in favor of urban religions, and the priesthoods entered into Faustian deals with the new urban elites and conferred divine status or sanction to them. That charade was played, in one way or another, in all agrarian civilizations, and polities’ conquering each other and forming empires happened from the beginning.

Marx was right that the “means of production” dictated the social relations, and with the rise of Europe, as it conquered the world and industrialized (they were closely related dynamics), came the nation and corporation, which have been the dominant social institutions in the Fourth Epoch.

And, little different from the “big men” of chiefdoms, who put on displays of their ill-gotten wealth with feasts, potlaches, and the like, the rise of nations and corporations saw the appearance of the “philanthropist.” As I have stated, “rich philanthropist” is an oxymoron, like “capitalist democracy” is. So-called “philanthropy” really took off during the Gilded Age of American industrialization after its Civil War. The most rapacious capitalists, called robber barons, became “philanthropists,” and the most legendary of them was John D. Rockefeller. Humanity has suffered greatly from such “philanthropy.” In coming posts, I will explore that brand of philanthropy, to the current manifestation of it, which is epitomized by Bill Gates, whom you would not want over for dinner. In conjunction with such “philanthropy” has been these new robber barons who assumed the mantle of “visionary,” and it has been something to behold, when I recovered from my dismay and sometimes disgust.

From none of the current billionaire “philanthropists” and “visionaries” have I seen anything that resembles or points to the Fifth Epoch. If Gates, Bezos, Musk, the Google Boys, and others are not aware that free energy and antigravity technologies are already on the planet and likely older than I am, they are naïve indeed. I personally doubt that they are all that ignorant, but have been “persuaded” to keep playing their games of “philanthropy” and “visionary,” knowing their place, which is down the food chain of power on Earth a ways. I call politicians and the new robber barons the “retail elite,” who really have quite limited power. Personally, I doubt that Gates is in on it that much, but is allowed to play his “philanthropic” games, which are no threat at all to the GCs, and actually furthers their plans in ways. I think that if any of them actually engaged in true philanthropy and humanitarian acts, in ways that could lead to the Fifth Epoch, they would get a gentle, or perhaps not so gentle, reorientation toward the standard “philanthropy” and “vision,” which is the safe kind that does not threaten Earth’s power structure. A lot more is coming.

    Best,

    Wade

    Hi:

To provide an example of how I am revising my big essay, attached is my current index for the essay. It is a lot shorter than today’s. All of those chapters still exist, and I added some, but I am trying to make my work easier to digest, and making it easier to navigate is part of that. I am also busting up most of my timelines, and putting them at the beginning of the chapters (probably abbreviated), and I am moving the intact timelines to a different essay entirely. It should make it easier to digest.

What I have noticed is that if people are not scientists or in other intellectual professions, it can be hard for them to digest. If only scientists and geniuses can digest my big essay, I will have failed my intention. I have been trying to make my work easier to digest ever since my first site in 1996.

    Best,

    Wade

    Hi:

Here is a conspiracist twofer, a Salla-Wilcock tag-team post. One of the Rothschilds died recently, and Wilcock assigns responsibility to Mike Pompeo and friends, as they wipe out the GCs. Our experience with the so-called White Hats and Black Hats is that they do not identify themselves. Not only did David Rockefeller call Dennis at home, but the Rothschilds also got involved. The fact that they gave their names means, to me, that they do not play at the GC level, so I take a huge grain of salt with this recent “revelation,” as I do for everything that comes from those people, as they derive deep meaning from a picture of wine bottles. I do my best to ignore them, but I keep being bombarded with stuff like that. Of course, for the 100th time, at least, Wilcock and crew have put a specific date on the grand announcement, which should happen either today or tomorrow. Hold on to your hats!

    Best,

    Wade
