Default Submerged Ruins off the west coast of Cuba

Around the year 2000, underwater scans by Paula Zalitzki and her team discovered what appears to be the ruins of an ancient city at a depth of half a mile. These ruins include megalithic structures made out of apparent granite blocked terraces, pyramids, buildings and avenues. Although this discovery created a mild sensation at the time, the silence about it now is deafening.

The evidence of the anti-deluvian global civilization is mostly fleeting, and this one is almost out of reach.

Ancient City "Built Underwater" Found In Cuba?

Underwater City Off of Cuba Part 1 (The Discovery)

About nine years ago the news went around the world and all over the net. National Geographic published an article on their web site and had plans to cover the whole story and follow up with more investigations. In 2005 they walked out of the deal. Some say it had to do with Cuba/USA relationship and other believe it goes "DEEPER" than that. Paulina says she needs $2,000,000.00 to go back and drill through the pyramids and see what is inside. She wants to recover artifacts. She has now moved over to other projects near Mexico because she needs to make a living.

Underwater City Off of Cuba Part 2 (An Update)

Despite some degree of publicity, these outrageous findings have still not been publicized for the outside world. On this second part you will get to see Zelitskys pyramid, from submersible view, compared with Bent Pyramid of Dashur. You will also see the link to see two short videos of to monoliths or pyramids.

Possible Underwater Ancient Artifacts of Lost Civilization Discovered off coast thanks to Paulina Zelitsky

"The stone blocks have very closely matched the size of the stone blocks in Lake Titicaca. The description of the stone structures in Lake Titicaca apparently are very similar to what we find on the ocean floor. That is why, I think it could be originated from the same roots."

    09. SOUNDBITE: (English) Paulina Zelitsky, Sea Explorer:
"So, according to the chronologists, there were three islands that sank. Three islands. And the people immigrated to Central America and to the Gulf of Mexico - the two main escape routes."

    11. Paulina showing photos of sculptures by the Almecs culture
    12. SOUNDBITE: (English) Paulina Zelitsky, Sea Explorer:
"Now, not only am I more convinced, I have a much clearer vision of what we are dealing with. What we are dealing with is our prehistory. There are very few traces left. They are in very difficult access areas. Lake Titicaca, the ocean bottom off the coast of Cuba and the jungles of the Gulf of Mexico - because that is where Almecs sculptures come from."

    STORY LINE:

Scientific investigators believe that the data they are collecting from the ocean floor off the coast of Cuba is surviving evidence of a previously unknown ancient civilization.

Two years ago, during a search for sunken treasure, explorers first identified giant granite stones laid out in symmetrical patterns off the Guanahacabibies peninsula at the western tip of Cuba.

Their latest research trip, which returned to shore recently with fresh data, has given rise to new theories of a lost civilization and man's earliest conquest of the New World.

Ocean engineer Paulina Zelitsky, of the Canadian company Advanced Digital Communications (ADC), believes the site holds clues to a culture that later left its mark in Central America and as far south as Peru and Bolivia.

But the site's inevitable parallel with the myth of the lost city of Atlantis has drawn skepticism from some scientists around the world.

Cuban geologist Manuel Iturralde, research director of Cuba's Natural History Museum, has said that conclusive proof of man-made structures at the site would reinforce oral traditions still alive in Mexico of an island inhabited by their ancestors that vanished beneath the sea.

Several geological faults and the natural process of plate tectonics would explain the bulk of water that now separates Cuba from mainland Central America.

Early next year, National Geographic plans to take in human submersibles and join ADC on a more extensive research trip to the site.

Iturralde has said any artifact or confirmation of human settlement could revolutionize man's modern understanding of the history of the Americas.

Zelitsky believes the discovery could change scientific understanding of the origins of the American continent.

The importance of this discovery is huge!
Not just the archaeological significance, but the ancient technology that is still there and apparently causing energetic anomalies to this day.

I have read that the US knew about this but kept it secret from the Russians. With the death of Fidel this is coming out.

The real mystery for me is how did that pyramid complex get built? I cannot accept that it was built 1/2 mile under water. Those pyramids are larger than the pyramids on the Giza plateau. So, that leaves the notion that they were built above ground. Which leads to the question - how did that entire complex sink 1/2 mile down without any visible damage to the site?? So pristine.

I don't know but something to think about is how different the water level used to be. I know a bit about this from reading about Florida's Native Americans. When they originally arrived (5 millennia ago) the water level was drastically different. We have several fresh water springs in Florida that are popular campgrounds, it's fun to go swimming in them. They are basically small rivers, you hop in an inner tube and float along with your friends. When the natives arrived they were just small pools of water. I believe they were fought over, not sure.

The coast line extended out much further than it is now.

I know nothing about Cuba, but I think this could be something valuable to think about.

If this is real it's a whole new area of study because folks weren't here yet. At least not in America.

Thanks for this. So very interesting. I'd not actually heard of these ruins, and they were discovered back in 2011.

Half a mile deep (2,500 ft) is very different from just a couple of hundred feet. And yes, because they're still intact it seems to show that either the sea level rose dramatically, or the continental shelf and the low-lying coast fell dramatically. In this case, it surely has to be the latter.

One wonders how much else there is down there. I'd bet a lot, that there's a LOT. And all this suggests that the age of these cities is very old indeed.

This Dec 2017 video references this web page for many more images and videos:
But that's been down for a while, redirecting to a Facebook page which isn't there either.

On archive.org, I tracked down the latest version that was cached: (December 2014)
That's all in Spanish, but it'd be a gold mine for serious researchers.
