So... whats the situation in sweden? Not many reports in this thread, I´ll try to give it a shot
First as mentioned here in an earlier post our much debated chief epidemiologist has had this "let it burn" tactic. Well see how it plays out. I guess he doesnt watch dr campbell or peak prosperity
Many, myself included, is currently complaining about a slight cough or sore throat etc.

No big outbreak as of yet. Only like 10 dead so far all of them very old and fragile. I guess that has instilled some backing for how the government handles this. The country is totally divided (as always) on this.

Im actually more worried for the social and economic consequenses from this than the disease itself. Sweden is balkanized in a way, meaning that we have large groupings that are hostile enough to resort to violence if this heats up. Add to that large caches of immigrants, legal and illegal, that will riot if the benefit cheques stop coming or something like that. They have been hard to reach due to language and cultural issuses regarding how this spreads. Could be a major problem, especially for the healthcare system.

Stockholm where I live is the largest cache of infected and we have already as it is a crumbling healthcare and 1/3 of all personnel is currently on sickleave. The hospitals is understaffed as it is, before the outbreak. No real chaos there yet though.
Another threat is that the police and military are way undersized in Sweden due to reforms. There has been a big push for prepping and owning legal firearms in recent years due to this. Currently Swedes are actually one of europes most armed population (mostly hunting rifles). People know that our safety is at risk and here we are in a true SHTFscenario, so lets hope some of us can assist if society breaks down. I pray for that it never will come to that.

Sweden is now moving towards a lockdown of preschools and up to 9th graders, gymnasiums and higher education are closed since monday. The reasoning has been that up to a third of all nurses, doctors and policeofficers would have to take leave to attend their kids instead of doing their important job. Guess its some kind of logic to that but I think its gonna be just a few days more until it closes anyway.
Small businisses and low income freelancers are the biggest losers, me included, thankfully I have backup options. Some are not so lucky.

i feel that this financial armageddon is a reality here before the disease even got a hold of the fragile system. The ripples of that got here faster than the sickness.
I have a really bad feeling about this. Sweden is not as resilient as it thinks. People will suffer. im ok, but feel sorry for the unprepared. They were way to naive to once again trust our government (Fool me once shame on, you fool me twice shame on me applies here).

As for last i´d like to praise everyone involved in this thread. Of course especially Bill for the patience to ride it through with us. This thread is a goldmine.

My cousins in Sweden update me, one is an emergency call response one does flight for life, one a retired nurse and list goes on.........they are all very frustrated.

A grim call to my friend in a letter agency this morning, she says all federal building have brought in decon in hazmats and they were told to work from home. She says yes this is 100% bioweapon and it all just looks very grim.

Maybe, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if that photo was taken at some other time, and those trucks were sent out for something else entirely.
Expect the fear porn to be ramped up as much as the hype--that's part of the elite's agenda, and that's well known.

Here in Canada, Ontario to be exact, everything is closing. First it was schools then following the professional sports leagues all major entertainment and other gathering places. We are taking our last run to find a few items IF there is anything left anywhere.

To all Avalon sport friends - I am really missing the English Premiere League and the Champions League Play. I was going to be coaching kids' soccer here, so hopefully that will come back for a short season.

If you are searching for stores that might have something you may need, check T & T market - being a Chinese grocery store, many people seemed to have avoided them.

Think out of the box - Staples sells office supplies that include paper towels, toilet paper and other cleaning products. It might be late for the toilet paper though as that seemed to be early gold. (I have actually seen people walking down the street carrying only a large package of toilet paper.)

Our work was halted last week and we are trying to collect our pay. But as office staff are closing without notice it is difficult. Went to our pharmacy for our prescriptions and it had closed. The pharmacy is in a medical building and they said that they are closing the entire building earlier than usual. This building has all medical testing, physio etc. Not sure if other med buildings are closing, but it seems to be getting quieter out there everyday.

The government is opening up unemployment options for all people out of work. Hopefully the banks stay open.

At least the price of gas has dropped so we can afford to drive around a lot.

If things continue to go in the wrong direction, remember that you don't have to watch the bad videos on line to know what's going on. Limit yourself. Keep yourself in check.

I asked her, she didn't know, she tried to send me something via text message (I spoke to her via phone so will have to call her again) and through FB messenger and it wouldn't go through. So I am unsure, she does work counter terror intel, that is all I know but it's very specific (French/Islam connection). Edited to add, she is very shaken up, says some of her friends have packed up to their mountain places but she says she doesn't see situation changing as far as threat level for at least 18 months. She is concerned and really shaken up.

I just got the following forwarded to me, from someone in Chicago. I redacted one name.

A friend just sent this from her uncle in the national guard:


He said that they are preparing to mobilize the national guard. Preparing to dispatch them across the US along with military. Next they will call in 1st responders. He said they are preparing to announce a nationwide 1 week quarantine for all citizens All businesses closed. Everyone at home. They were told to pack and be prepared for up to 30 days deployment which he said means they may extend the quarantine up to 30 days. He told me to notify our family members and have them stock up and be prepared. They will announce this as soon as they have troops in place to help prevent looters and rioters... he said he got the call last night and was told to pack and be prepared for the call today with his dispatch orders. He thinks they will announce before the end of the weekend to keep people home on Monday.
I’ve also heard from our contacts at FEMA the same thing. You’re in the industry so I’m sure you’ve heard but a TSA agent told me they’re closing airports this weekend.

It's not like I have extraordinary contacts, so I am kind of surprised that this has not been confirmed (at least, that they heard it too) by someone else here on this forum. There has to be others that have a US National Guard soldier contact, or contact of a contact...

I guess we'll know if this was BS in the next few days. Having lived in the US all my life and having been aware for the past 40 years, both politically and of a behind the curtain cabal running the US agenda, makes this very easy to believe.

I don't wonder if there will be soldiers in the streets - what I'm wondering is how long they will extend the militarized lockdown: long enough to force the heavily armed civilians to take to the streets and make Kent state a picnic in comparison? Pitting part of society (soldiers, cops) against another part of society (civilian citizens), and the guilty, the planners, the rulers are not in the crossfire. Sounds like it may well be part of their grand plan, to me.

Then the first week of Feb. we came down with what I thought was start of a cold, fever, body aches, chills and a very dry cough. My small son, older daughter and I at same time. The symptoms would shift, for example one of our eyes became swollen and would tear constantly, that lasted quite a while, it was so unusual I tool la picture of it on Feb 14th.

The day prior on Feb 13th I got a text from my daughter telling me she went to the ER because her fever was still there after 9 days but she couldn't breathe. I put a mask on and picked her up. Now here's where it get;s interesting.....my daughter was a healthcare worker but had quit years prior so she's versed , we thought maybe we have pertussis again, she was tested for that and ALL flu strains. ALL NEGATIVE.

We were scheduled to see my mother (actually this week) who kept saying what if you have corona virus to which we didn't take it serious at the time.

My small son's symptoms were fever, he said he was so dizzy he couldn't stand up and the cough. All three of us are still coughing, I have some lung pain, my daughter is still using the inhaler they prescribed for her. Then my 16 year old got it about 10 days or so after us, said he wanted COVID19 testting but it was too early on in the game here in the USA.

Elainie, please consider starting an intensive oil of oregano therapy. It's the strongest known plant-based anti-viral. (Got me out of the worst flu of my life.)

Also, I just saw a video about breathing in hot air, which is supposed to kill covid-19. May also be worth investigating.

Absolutely, will order some now, I have some Ravensara oil coming too. My daughter is also early pregnant and self isolating at her partners house, I will tell her to order some, we use the really good stuff too, Oreganol or however it is spelled. Thanks so much. Yes, I started the hair dryer regime.

Ive currently got Oregano oil mixed with lemon tea tree oil blasting from my industrial diffuser, but curious how you used the oregano oil to cure your flu?

the area in New Rochelle is a small area like a square mile. people are entering, and coming and going freely and the guard are helpful and friendly . we have many extended family in new rochelle . I will guarantee you that my son, living there knows more than Mike who doesn't live there.

how bout this, why not report on the coming alien invasion that we could face , and just say well, someday it will happen.
