    LARRY ROMANOFF • DECEMBER 14, 2020 • 8,600 WORDS

    https://www.unz.com/lromanoff/covid-19-un-explained/[/QUOTE]

It's a fairly lengthy article so I will attempt a Cole's Notes version.

Romanoff starts off by pointing out the bizarreness of the second and third waves we are seeing with Covid-19.
Historically they are virtually unprecedented, yet not only are we witnessing second and third waves all around the
world, but they were forecasted in advance!!!

Most of the rest of the article focuses on the origins of the virus/pandemic.
Romanoff zeros in on two ground-zeros: The U.S. and Italy.
Italy spreading the virus to the rest of Europe.
U.S. possibly/probably the source of the virus.

Instead of pointing the finger at the Wuhan lab or bat soup, he fingers the Military Games in Wuhan in October 2019.
He references a myriad of reported illnesses by athletes during and after the Games that correlate with Covid symptoms.
His theory is that U.S. athletes brought the virus with them to the Games.

He goes on to list multiple instances around the world of Covid symptoms that occurred throughout 2019, way before
    the official outbreak of Covid-19.

He finishes the article with a bleak prognostication for CV and the world:
"Americans need to believe their leaders who tell them life will never return to ‘normal’. It will not."

But strangely, he also mentions that life is pretty much back to normal inside China!

Why is this variant causing concern?

How much faster is it spreading?

    How far has it spread?

    Has this happened before?

What do we know about the new mutations?

    Where has it come from?

Does it make the infection more deadly?

Will the vaccines work against the new variant?

    Ruling Overturning Outdoor Dining Ban
‘TRUTH’ With RFK, Jr. and LA Attorney Ryan Keech
    12/21/20
    https://childrenshealthdefense.org/d...a-84905c9c8919

"Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and attorney Ryan Keech discuss how the California Restaurant Association prevailed in its case to overturn Los Angeles County’s recent ban on outdoor dining.

In the latest episode of our second season of “TRUTH” with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Kennedy interviewed lawyer Ryan Keech about the California Restaurant Association’s case against Los Angeles County over the county’s decision last month to ban outdoor dining.

Kennedy and Keech expressed gratitude to the Honorable James C. Chalfant, who heard the case, referring to him as “courageous” for his decision to overturn the ban.

The ruling is tentative and California’s statewide “stay at home” remains in place. Still, this is a victory against the type of draconian measures being taken by local health authorities around the country, Kennedy said.

Keech said the case could serve as a blueprint for fighting overreaching measures applied not only to restaurants but also other businesses, schools and churches. Kennedy and Keech laid out the following timeline of events leading up to Judge Chalfant’s ruling:

In June, Los Angeles County health officials ordered restaurants to move all operations outdoors and applied other restrictions such as social distancing.
In late November, the county changed the order to a ban on outdoor dining, essentially closing restaurants.
The California Restaurant Association wrote a letter to the Board of Health asking the board to “show us the science.”
Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted to uphold the outdoor dining/restaurant ban.
Keech’s law firm, Browne George Ross O’Brien Annaguey & Ellis, filed affidavits on behalf of the California Restaurant Association emphasizing that there was no science supporting outdoor dining as a significant spreader of COVID-19.
Judge Chalfant issued a strongly worded ruling on Dec. 8, calling the county’s actions an abuse of power."

Congress Passes $900 Billion in COVID-19 Relief as Part of $2.3 Billion Omnibus Package
    BY MIMI NGUYEN LY
    December 21, 2020
    https://www.theepochtimes.com/mkt_ap...l_3628283.html

"The House of Representatives and the Senate on Monday passed a $900 billion COVID-19 relief bill following months of negotiations.

Congress also passed a $1.4 trillion annual federal spending package to keep the federal government funded for another year. Totalling $2.3 billion, the year-end government funding package that includes the COVID-19 relief comes to 5,593 pages (pdf), by far the longest bill ever.

The measure passed the House along a 359-53 vote, and passed the Senate along a 91-7 vote. It now moves to President Donald Trump’s desk to the signed. If the bill is signed, a government shutdown would be averted, because federal funding will expire at midnight.

The COVID-19 relief package includes a $600 direct stimulus payment to most Americans making up to $75,000 per year, and $1,200 to couples making up to $150,000, with payments phased out for higher incomes. An additional $600 payment is allotted per dependent child, similar to the last round of relief payments in the spring.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, a key White House negotiator, said on CNBC Monday morning that the direct payments would begin arriving in bank accounts next week if the bill is passed.

The legislation would also provide enhanced unemployment insurance benefits of $300 per week. This is about half the supplemental federal unemployment benefit provided under the $1.8 billion CARES Act in March. The direct $600 stimulus payment was also half the March payment.

The sweeping bill includes $284 billion in Paycheck Protection Program, to cover a second round of small-business loans and grants to especially hard-hit businesses. It would exclude publicly-traded companies from eligibility.

The bill also carves out $25 billion for rental assistance, and extends a ban on evictions that was due to expire by the end of January 2021.

Other subsidies in the bill include about $82 billion for schools, colleges and universities, $10 billion for child care, and $15 billion for theaters and other live venues.

State and local governments, which are struggling to pay for the distribution of newly approved COVID-19 vaccines, would receive $8.75 billion, with $300 million of that targeted at vaccinations in minority and high-risk populations.

“This deal is not everything I want—not by a long shot,” said Rules Committee Chairman Jim McGovern (R-Mass.). “The choice before us is simple. It’s about whether we help families or not. It’s about whether we help small businesses and restaurants or not. It’s about whether we boost (food stamp) benefits and strengthen anti-hunger programs or not. And whether we help those dealing with a job loss or not. To me, this is not a tough call.”

Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) opposed the legislation, saying that he “cannot, in good conscience, vote for this legislation that spends billions of taxpayer dollars on pet projects that have nothing to do with COVID relief or keeping the government funded.”

He said that while Americans are struggling financially amid lockdowns during the pandemic, the $2.3 trillion COVID-omnibus bill includes “language to further Green New Deal policies, millions of dollars to build two new Smithsonian museums, and a provision regarding the reincarnation of the Dalai Lama, just to name a mere fraction of the ridiculous provisions outlined in this bill.”

“I would have supported targeted relief to help small businesses and individuals who need it most, and a plan to distribute the vaccine to the most vulnerable, but this bill clearly misses the mark,” he wrote.

The bill is likely to be the final major piece of legislation for the 116th Congress that expires on Jan. 3.

The Associated Press and Reuters contributed to this report."

(Finally! What a bunch of Scrooges in our Congress. One can only imagine what the reaction would be were the tables turned. )

Trump Threatens to Veto Stimulus Deal, Calls for $2,000 Direct Payments to Americans
BY JACK PHILLIPS December 22, 2020
    https://www.theepochtimes.com/trump-...g-2020-12-22-5

"President Donald Trump said that Congress needs to pass a pandemic stimulus bill that includes $2,000 direct payments to Americans—not the $600 ones—or else he will veto it.

“Congress found plenty of money for foreign countries, lobbyists, and special interests,” Trump said on Tuesday night in a video released on his social media pages. “While sending the bare minimum to the American people who need it.”

“It wasn’t their fault; it was China’s fault.”

The president said that he will veto the bill unless Congress can provide more money in stimulus payments and loans to small businesses in the midst of the pandemic.

“I am asking Congress to amend this bill and increase the ridiculously low $600 to $2,000, or $4,000 for a couple,” he said. “I am also asking Congress to get rid of the unnecessary and wasteful items in this legislation.”

Trump said that lawmakers need to send him a suitable piece of legislation by his standards—or else the next administration will have to sign off on the measure.

“And maybe that administration will be me,” Trump added.

The president pointed to hundreds of millions of dollars tagged for the Egyptian military, Cambodia, Burma, “gender programs” in Pakistan, and numerous other countries. These provisions were also singled out by progressives and conservatives alike as an example of pork-barrel spending.

On Monday night, a number of lawmakers griped that they didn’t have enough time to look through the approximately 5,500-page bill (pdf).

Trump also noted that tens of millions of dollars are going to the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. “which is not even open for business,” as well as the National Gallery of Arts and the Smithsonian.

Other non-pandemic measures were included, such as combatting the spread of Asian carp in the Great Lakes area, construction projects at the FBI, and others.

The president said he would also veto the bill because stimulus payments are being doled out to “illegal aliens” and their families.

“Despite all of this wasteful spending, the $900 billion package provides hardworking taxpayers only $600 [to Americans] in relief payments,” he said, arguing that not enough cash is being provided to small business owners who have suffered during the pandemic induced lockdowns.

The CCP virus stimulus package bill isn’t the only measure that Trump has threatened to veto in recent days. Last week, the president said he would veto the recently passed defense spending bill because it doesn’t include a repeal of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which serves as a liability shield for social media companies. The bill, meanwhile, would be a boon for China, Trump wrote on Twitter.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) early on Tuesday morning called on the president not to veto the defense bill but said he would work to override it.

“My intention was and is to ensure the Senate continues fulfilling our obligation to the men and women of our armed forces. I hope the president will not veto this bill,” McConnell said on the floor at around 1 a.m.

McConnell added on the floor, referring to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), that::“The Democratic Leader and I have agreed to unanimous request as follows: the Senate will meet for pro forma sessions only until December 29th when we will return to session.”

Trump rightly called out the billions of dollars earmarked to other countries - sending out that taxpayer money is a disgrace and a slap in the face to so many Americans struggling. Congress is not even trying to hide the fact they are gangsters, intent on enriching themselves and their cronies.

The Corbett Report Podcast - 392 – The Future of Vaccines
    Show notes
If the Gateses and the Faucis and the representatives of the international medical establishment get their way, life will not return to normal until the entire planet is vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2. What many do not yet understand, however, is that the vaccines that are being developed for SARS-Cov-2 are unlike any vaccines that have ever been used on the human population before. And, as radically different as these vaccines appear, they represent only the very beginning of a complete transformation of vaccine technology that is currently taking place in research labs across the planet. This is a study of The Future of Vaccines.

University of Florida researchers find no asymptomatic or presymptomatic spread

    December 22, 2020

    BY LEN CABRERA

Four researchers from the University of Florida Department of Biostatistics co-authored a study published online by the Journal of the American Medical Association. They performed a meta-analysis of 54 studies looking at the household secondary attack rate of SARS-CoV-2. According to the CDC, the secondary attack rate is the number of new cases among contacts divided by the total number of contacts.

The researchers confirmed that SARS-CoV-2 is more contagious than other coronaviruses, with a secondary attack rate of 16.6% (95% CI 14.0%-19.3%) compared to 7.5% (95%CI 4.8%-10.7%) for SARS-CoV and 4.7% (95%CI, 0.9%-10.7%) for MERS-CoV.

Their findings also confirmed the attack rate is higher to adult contacts compared to child contacts and to spouses compared to other family members.

The secondary attack rate for symptomatic index cases was 18.0% (95% CI 14.2%-22.1%), and the rate of asymptomatic and presymptomatic index cases was 0.7% (95% CI 0%-4.9%), “although there were few studies in the latter group.” The asymptomatic/presymptomatic secondary attack rate is not statistically different from zero, and the confidence interval is technically 0.7 ± 4.2, resulting in a range of -3.5%-4.9%, but attack rates cannot be negative, so it is truncated at 0.

Breitbart: anti-lockdown protestors force their way into Oregon capitol
    by Jon Rappoport
    December 23, 2020

"I’m reprinting the Breitbart article here. My one-sentence introduction is: what did lockdown politicians expect was going to happen, sooner or later?

Breitbart, 21 December, by Bob Price: “A group of anti-lockdown, pro-Trump protesters forced their way into the Oregon Capitol Monday. One report shows some of the protesters were armed with rifles, handguns, and even a pitchfork.”

“A large group forced their way into the capitol as the legislature met on the opening day of the state’s third special session. The protesters expressed opposition to the state’s ordering of certain businesses to close.”

“While legislative sessions are normally open to the public, today’s was closed to anyone other than lawmakers, police, some staff, and reporters, the Oregon Statesman-Journal reported. Legislators met to attempt to pass pandemic-relief measures including landlord and tenant assistance.”

“Reports on social media show the group of protesters gathered outside the Oregon Capitol on Monday morning.”

“Salem Reporter journalist Jake Thomas tweeted a video showing a woman urging protesters to enter the capitol. One man reportedly shouted that people should be willing to get maced or arrested.”

“State police pushed the crowd back and at one point deployed blue pepper spray.”

“Police say the pepper spray was used in response to officers being sprayed by the protesters.”

“’At one point we used pepper balls. I don’t know what else,’ Salem Police Lt. Teven Upkes told the Statesman-Journal. ‘When people attempted to come in to the building they actually used pepper spray and other things on officers. In return we used those to separate ourselves and get them to hold that spot. So I don’t know what all was used but I know at least pepper ball was used’.”

“At one point, Oregon State Senator Dallas Heard (R-Roseburg) came out and addressed the protesters.”

“Reports indicate police arrested at least two people during the demonstration.”

“During the session, Senator Heard accused Oregon Governor Kate Brown of carrying out a ‘campaign against the people and children of God.’ He stood for a 30-second moment of silence, one Twitter user posted.”

“’This is yet another illegitimate session in which you, the democratic majority, have declared the people unfit to participate in person in their own Capitol building,’ Heard said on the floor of the Senate, according to KEZI ABC9. ‘Let the record reflect that I am in fierce opposition to any legislation that this illegitimate assembly may pass today. You will be held accountable for this in the coming years’.”

“’I declare my right to protest against your false authority and remove my mask,’ the senator said while taking off his mask. ‘I will stand here for 30 seconds while you decide if you are fascists willing to use the government to force and override my rights or to prove that you are nothing more than bullies and false authorities’.”

“The Daily Beast and the Daily Mail reported some of the protesters gathered outside the capitol were armed with ‘black rifles’ and handguns. Photos in both articles show a woman armed with a U.S. flag on a pitchfork.”

“Another video tweeted by Oregon Statesman reporter Abigail Dollins shows protests trying to force their way through a locked door.”

“Salem Statesman photojournalist Brian Hayes tweeted a video showing some of the protesters who succeeded in gaining entry inside the capitol. At least one of those protesters appears to be armed with a rifle.”

“He also tweeted a video showing protesters tearing down a covering on a vandalized marble relief outside the capitol.”

(The mental image of a protester carrying a pitchfork to the capitol made me )

If the Gateses and the Faucis and the representatives of the international medical establishment get their way, life will not return to normal until the entire planet is vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2. What many do not yet understand, however, is that the vaccines that are being developed for SARS-Cov-2 are unlike any vaccines that have ever been used on the human population before. And, as radically different as these vaccines appear, they represent only the very beginning of a complete transformation of vaccine technology that is currently taking place in research labs across the planet. This is a study of The Future of Vaccines.

No proof whatsoever of that! Proof a-plenty that it will do much harm, however! And proof of the underlying genocidal, population reduction, elitist agenda.

Pelosi to Bring $2,000 Direct Payments to Vote on Monday
BY MASOOMA HAQ December 24, 2020
    https://www.theepochtimes.com/pelosi...g-2020-12-24-2

(Not looking good for any stimulus getting sent until sometime in January, if then.)

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that she will call House members back on Monday to hold a recorded vote on the $2,000 direct payment measure requested by President Donald Trump.

“Monday, I will bring the House back to a session where we will hold a recorded vote on our standalone bill to increase economic impact payments to $2,000,” Pelosi said in a statement. “To vote against this bill is to deny the financial hardship that families face and to deny them the relief they need,” she added.

On Tuesday Trump criticized the omnibus spending package that had been finalized by Congress on Monday, saying that more money was going to foreign countries and lobbyists than to the American people.

He urged Congress to increase direct payments to American families from $600 to $2,000.

On Thursday House Democrats filed a unanimous consent request for $2,000 direct payments, which was blocked by Republicans. They have so far been silent about the reasons for blocking the increased payments, but they did address the portion of the spending package that sends millions overseas to help foreign countries.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) on Wednesday evening told GOP members that they would file a counter unanimous consent request to revisit the foreign aid in the 2021 omnibus, and criticized Democrats for not revisiting that portion of the package.

House Democrats “have conveniently ignored the concerns expressed by the president, and shared by our constituents, that we ought to reexamine how our tax dollars are spent overseas while so many of our neighbors at home are struggling to make ends meet,” a letter by McCarthy said.

“Thus, Republicans will offer a unanimous consent request to revisit the state and foreign operations title of the omnibus so that we can fully address the concerns at hand. It will be up to Speaker Pelosi to decide if she wants to act on behalf of the American people,” McCarthy wrote.

Democrats objected to the GOP’s unanimous consent request.

House rules authorize leaders of either party to object to unanimous consent requests on the floor, but they allow the bill to be voted on by roll call.

Meanwhile, Pelosi called on the president to convince Republican members not to obstruct the increased direct payment measure.

“House Republicans cruelly deprived the American people of the $2,000 that the president agreed to support,” Pelosi wrote. “If the president is serious about the $2,000 direct payments, he must call on House Republicans to end their obstruction.”

Pelosi said that Democrats have been pushing for larger direct payments to families, but “House and Senate Republicans have repeatedly rejected—first, during our negotiations when they said that they would not go above $600 and now, with this act of callousness on the floor.”

She said she hoped that by Monday the president “will have already signed the bipartisan and bicameral legislation to keep the government open and to deliver coronavirus relief.”

Along with the vote on the direct payments, the House will also vote to override Trump’s veto of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

The president vetoed the $740 billion act on Wednesday.

“Unfortunately, the act fails to include critical national security measures, includes provisions that fail to respect our veterans and our military’s history, and contradicts efforts by my administration to put America first in our national security and foreign policy actions,” Trump said in a Dec. 23 statement. “It is a ‘gift’ to China and Russia,” he added. France: Bill to Ban COVID Vaccine Refusers from Public Transport Put on ‘Pause’ Due to Backlash

    France:
A radical new bill could ban people who fail to get a Covid-19 vaccination or provide a negative test from using public transport and other activities. France has imposed some of the strictest lockdown measures in Europe, with citizens having to fill out a form every time they leave their home. A recent poll found that 59% of the population will refuse the new vaccine. French President Emmanuel Macron and the Health Minister promised that coronavirus vaccinations will not be mandatory. Critics say that Macron is planning a health dictatorship and that the government is using ‘vaccine blackmail.’ A law professor pointed out that the bill would curb parliament’s powers because the exceptional measures could all be implemented by decree and would give executive authorities nearly unlimited power.

The government has been forced to delay the legislation for several months after angry protests.

The EU gave the green light for a Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine on Monday, paving the way for the first inoculations to start across 27 countries just after Christmas.
People who fail to get a Covid-19 vaccination could be banned from using public transport in France, according to a draft law sparking angry protests from opposition politicians on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Jean Castex on Monday got his cabinet’s backing for a bill that is designed to provide a legal framework for dealing with health crises, including the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the text, which will now be submitted to parliament, a negative Covid test or proof of a “preventative treatment, including the administration of a vaccine” could be required for people to be granted “access to transport or to some locations, as well as certain activities”.

The government’s vaccination campaign is to start on Sunday, and officials already face widespread resistance to a treatment developed in record time since the outbreak hit Europe early this year.

A recent poll by the Journal du Dimanche newspaper found that 59 percent of respondents said they would not get a Covid shot, one of the highest rates in the European Union.

President Emmanuel Macron has promised that coronavirus vaccinations, though strongly recommended, will not be mandatory, a pledge reiterated by Health Minister Olivier Veran on Tuesday.

“I say it once again, vaccination is not mandatory,” Veran said, while also appearing to leave the door open to modifications of the bill as it “matures” during parliamentary debates.

But opposition politicians condemned the draft law, with Marine Le Pen, leader of the far-right RN party, calling it an “essentially totalitarian” measure.

“In a backhanded way, this bill does not aim to make vaccinations mandatory, but will prevent anybody who doesn’t comply from having a social life,” she said.

    Suspend our freedoms
RN party spokesman Sebastien Chenu said Macron’s government was planning “a health dictatorship”.

Guillaume Peltier, deputy leader of the centre-right LR party, said it was “inconceivable” that the government should be allowed to “get all the power to suspend our freedoms without parliamentary control”.

Centrist senator Nathalie Goulet said the draft was “an attack on public freedoms”, while the far-left deputy Alexis Corbiere said “we could at least have a collective discussion if the idea is to limit our public liberties.”

Laureline Fontaine, a law professor at the Sorbonne Nouvelle university in Paris, told AFP that the draft bill would effectively curb parliament’s powers, “because these exceptional measures could all be implemented by decree.”

“It potentially gives nearly unlimited powers to the executive authorities,” she said.
