This shouldn't even be a discussion anymore.

I wonder how many Avalonians thought face masks are really "good" against viruses that are 1000 times smaller than the holes in the masks ... even when they admit they have NO medical use! (reading the package).
Anything is possible with the proper training.

I was in a hospital regularly at the height of the first lockdown and I wore a mask, even though at that point it was not mandatory to do so and plenty of people weren't. I thought that they offered a chance of protecting others from something you yourself had by reducing the amount, volume and distance of droplets from your own breath. In other words, I didn't think it would stop me from catching covid or any other disease, but if it lessened the chance of me spreading it, particularly to the many people within that had compromised immune systems or co-morbidity factors, then I was happy to do whatever I could to lessen that risk. To be honest, although there are lots of reasons to be wary of anything and everything we are told about this pandemic I'd do the same again.

This is the thing - I remember pointing it out to people early on - "read the package" - it doesn't register in their mind.

If I was in a hospital, I would have probably done the same. If I had a cold and was sneezing or coughing, same. But not just because.

Tucker is actually quite funny, but the virtue signaling mask wearers won't get it. They love being controlled and living in fear and want the rest of us to do the same.

    • "Masks work!" Really...?
The three states below had very different levels of restrictions yet a virus cares not. The idea that states can intervene in a natural process is shown to be a fallacy.

It’s now been over four weeks since Texas removed is mask mandate and absolutely nothing has happened, in fact, Texas is 38th in case rate over the week ending 4/7. The mainstream media is utterly unable to compute such data.

Tell me again that the masks stopped the virus. We dare you.

We’ll say it again: viruses follow seasonality, not mask or quarantine mandates.

The same pattern pertains to TX and NJ, except to note the later progression into the south last year. As with other states and countries, no correlation can be found between lockdowns and/or mask wearing and viral progression.

Japan’s COVID-19 case progression was once held up as the result of model government restrictions and high levels of compliance. We do find it odd how rarely we hear about Japan nowadays.

We know. This is getting boring. When will the mask cult open their eyes to the obvious? Viruses are seasonal and cannot be stopped by face diapers.

Millions of face masks officially declared dangerous
    by Jon Rappoport
    May 28, 2021
    https://blog.nomorefakenews.com/2021...red-dangerous/

"This is not an article about whether face masks work.

As my readers know, for the past year I’ve been demonstrating that the SARS-CoV-2 virus has never been proven to exist. [1] Therefore, face masks are nothing more (or less) than a mind-control ritual. [2] [2a]

However, much has been written about the harm the masks cause.

And now we have an official declaration. On April 2, 2021, Health Canada issued an advisory, warning people not to “use face masks labelled to contain graphene or biomass graphene.”

Andrew Maynard covers this issue in a medium.com article, “Manufacturers have been using nanotechnology-derived graphene in face masks—now there are safety concerns.” [3]

Those concerns? Masks could create lung problems.

Of course, since COVID-19 is claimed to be a lung disease, you can see where that leads: the remedy turns out to cause what it’s supposed to prevent. I could write a book detailing how many times this “coincidence” pops up in the field of medicine.

Maynard’s article traces the safety concerns to a Chinese mask manufacturer, Shandong, but points out that millions of graphene-containing masks are in use around the world, produced by a whole host of companies.

So far, it’s not clear whether the nanoparticles of graphene in the masks also contain metals—which are highly destructive.

The mainstream literature on graphene is ambiguous: yes, it’s probably toxic to the lungs; perhaps not seriously so; perhaps only temporarily; there are more questions than answers.

Since there are more questions, why have these masks been certified anywhere in the world for public use? Why haven’t the CDC and the WHO made definitive statements about safety concerns?

At materialstoday.com, we have, “Is graphene safe?” [4]

“But, it is the very nature of graphene that might be cause for concern: thin and lightweight, yet tough and intractable particles are notoriously worrisome in terms of the detrimental effects they can have on our health, particularly when breathed in…”

“Ken Donaldson is a respiratory toxicologist at the University of Edinburgh and he and his colleagues are among the first to raise the warning flag on graphene, at least for nanoscopic platelets of the material. It is not too great a leap of the imagination to imagine how such tiny flakes of carbon might be transported deep within the lungs similar to asbestos fibres and coal dust. Once lodged within, there is no likely mechanism for the removal or break down of such inert particles and they might reside on these sensitive tissues triggering a chronic inflammatory response or interfering with the normal cellular functions.”

Does this make any sane person feel safe about wearing a mask and breathing in those graphene particles all day long?

In fact, you could rightly call the masks graphene-inhalation transporters.

“We have a new idea and a new product. It’s designed to force you to breathe in nanoparticles of graphene. Who knows? There might be health benefits. Try it and see.”

Yes, try it. And if you then develop a lung infection, since that is called a cardinal pandemic symptom, you could hit the jackpot and earn a diagnosis of COVID-19.

At which point the fun really begins, as you try to explain to your doctor that the cause isn’t a virus, but rather nanoparticles of graphene in your mask. If you play your cards right, you could end up in the psych ward with other “conspiracy theorists.”

“Can you believe it, nurse? I had this guy a few hours ago coughing and dripping mucus all over the place. Inflamed lungs. Classic COVID case. But he tells me he’s breathing in NANOPARTICLES. I gave him a sedative and sent him to the Crazy Pen. Where do these people get these stories? Have you ever heard of graphene? That’s what they put in pencils, right?”

“I don’t know, Doc. My cousin thinks she’s breathing in these nanos, too. I told her she needs a Thorazine drip.”

There’s a good chance the masks are COVID-diagnosis promoters. Step one: breathe in nanoparticles of graphene. Step two: therefore develop a so-called major COVID symptom—lung infection. Step three: test false-positive on the PCR test (happens millions of times, as I’ve documented). And boom, you’re a COVID case.

In keeping with local laws, I’ve applied for a license to own a mask as a weapon. If I gain approval, I plan to seal it in a glass box and mount it on the wall next to my grenade launcher and Civil War cannonball."

Yes this video (the original) was posted about a month ago and mentioned here before.
The reactions from the people show just how far gone the normies are. It's hopeless
really to reach them now, they have been so indoctrinated by the 'flood the zone' MSM

It should be noted that Ben Shapiro is a card carrying "normie" as well, lest this clip fool anyone otherwise. Just because from time to time he goes off on things that the majority of this forum may find agreeable, doesn't change that. For instance he's pro U.S. empire, pro U.S. being in Iraq for decades if needed, and has since day one been a fierce critic of Julian Assange and Wikileaks, just to name a couple of examples.

He makes a fine living playing lead blocker on talk radio for a political team, and a very talented lead blocker at that, but he's no independent truth seeker by any means what so ever. If the team's for it he's for it, if the team's against it he's against it.

This is pretty interesting from Chris Martenson, published on 25 May 2021, nearly a month ago.

He sticks like glue to the published science, which concludes (persuasively) that masks do nothing at all when one is outdoors, even in a large, dense, vocal crowd. There was no uptick at all in the Covid cases following major events such as last year's BLM riots, etc.

It seems that most covid cross-infections occur when indoors, in cramped conditions with many others (e.g. in an army barracks, or cruise ships, or schoolrooms(!) ), where there are lots of people and little ventilation. There, Martenson argues, again from the published research, masks can make a difference.

Outdoor transmission seems to account for 0.1% of all covid cases. Go figure.

He suggests, displaying immense common sense, that many potential covid issues in schools would 100% evaporate simply by moving classes outside into the sun.

He also discusses the inoculum, as he did many times last year. This is an important concept, referring to the 'dose' of the virus one might absorb in a cross-infection. This seems to be a useful guideline. The numbers refer to the numbers of virus particles in the 'dose'.

The relevance to masks is that in confined spaces, masks restrict the numbers of virus particles passing through.

They don't stop them. They just lower the numbers.
    • 1,000: Not ill, no symptoms,, no shedding. The possible development of valuable antibodies.
    • 10,000: Minor illness, half the people with some symptoms, no shedding.
    • 100,000: Mild illness, the majority have symptoms, some shedding.
    • 1,000,000: Possible severe illness, the majority have symptoms, half the people shedding.
Martenson argues that deliberately exposing oneself to a LOW dose may be very beneficial in generating natural immunity.

In all his new videos, he's protecting his YouTube account by sticking ONLY to published research, avoiding all mention (by name) of HCQ and Ivermectin, and carefully avoiding all 'political' discussion. e.g. about agendas re 'vaccines'.

One VERY strongly suspects that his true opinions about those, which I'd expect to be pretty strong and clear, are all behind his subscribers paywall.
