'Big Data, Transhumanism and Why the Singularity May Be Faked'

    Analysis by Dr. Joseph Mercola

'BIG DATA, TRANSHUMANISM AND WHY THE SINGULARITY MAY BE FAKED-
    INTERVIEW WITH WHITNEY WEBB'

    'STORY AT-A-GLANCE

Silicon Valley is essentially fused with the national security state. Silicon Valley is now also entering into joint ventures with medical companies, and many of these ventures are financed by groups like In-Q-Tel, which is the CIA's venture capital arm
There’s a concerted effort to frame transhumanism — which is really the new eugenics — as health care. Joint ventures involving Big Tech, Big Pharma and the security state typically focus on products and services that normalize and further the transhumanist agenda
Food and agriculture are also being tossed into the mix. The U.S. government has launched a “Food is Medicine” program, which is yet another way for the government to seize control of the population. Food as medicine will be used to get you into their control system, and keep you there
In 2023 and 2024, watch for the rollout of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). It’s crucial that as many people as possible refuse the system during the initial voluntary phase. Once it becomes mandatory, it cannot be stopped and all freedoms will be lost
If the singularity cannot be achieved, technocrats may end up faking it, because if they can blame eugenics, depopulation and other unethical decisions on artificial intelligence running the government, they can do whatever they want, with no repercussions'

    • The Great Reset: TERRIFYING Future Of Social Control!:

World Economic Forum founder and spot-on James Bond villain impersonator Klaus Schwab has plans for you – all of us, in fact. Climate change and the coronavirus pandemic have provided an excellent opportunity to institute a “Great Reset,” Schwab says, and refashion the way we live practically every aspect of our lives. Doesn’t sound menacing at all, certainly not in that German accent! Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger wonder whether Schwab would be more convincing with a mini mustache and the prospect of a return of fuhrer-inspired whiskers.

    Loneliness Is an Epidemic
    by Dr. Joseph Mercola
    January 26, 2023
    https://articles.mercola.com/sites/a...bid=1704507951

(One of the goals of the NWO is obviously to divide and conquer. Loneliness is one of the deadliest results.)

    "STORY AT-A-GLANCE
Loneliness has been at “epidemic” levels for several years.
In a 2018 survey of Americans aged 18 and older, 46% reported “sometimes” or “always” feeling lonely
A World Health Organization study published in 2021 found loneliness affected up to 34% of older adults in China, Europe, Latin America and the U.S.
Other recent research found loneliness among adolescents ranged from a low of 9.2% in Southeast Asia to a high of 14.4% in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
The highest rate — 21% — was found among elderly Eastern Europeans
Scientists have linked loneliness with a greater risk for obesity, heart disease, anxiety, dementia, stress, inflammation, reduced immune function, poor sleep and premature death
Loneliness is also associated with a greater risk of addiction, and the rate of deaths directly attributed to alcohol rose by more than 25% in 2020, the first year of the pandemic, when many were self-isolating and working from home.
The trend continued into 2021, by then up 34% from prepandemic levels

Loneliness has been at "epidemic" levels for several years now. In a 2018 Cigna insurance health survey1,2,3 of 20,000 Americans aged 18 and older, a whopping 46% reported "sometimes" or "always" feeling lonely. More recent studies cited by El Pais4 include a World Health Organization paper from 2021, which found loneliness affected up to 34% of older adults in China, Europe, Latin America and the U.S.

Other recent research found loneliness among adolescents ranged from a low of 9.2% in Southeast Asia to a high of 14.4% in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The highest rate — 21% — was found among elderly Eastern Europeans.5

Effects of Loneliness on Physical Health
While loneliness statistics can be difficult to pin down, the effects of loneliness are well-recognized at this point. Dr. Facundo Manes, a neurologist, neuroscientist and founder of the Neurological Cognitive Institute in Argentina, likens feelings of loneliness to "a biological alarm bell that reminds us that we are social beings,"6 and when this alarm goes off, disease processes are set into motion. Scientists have linked loneliness with a greater risk for:

    Obesity7

    Heart disease8

    Anxiety9

    Dementia10

    Higher levels of perceived stress11

    Inflammation12

    Reduced immune function13

    Poor sleep14,15

A 2011 study16 found that for each 1-point increase on the UCLA loneliness scale,17 an individual is 8% more likely to experience some sort of sleep disruption. Research18 has also shown that lack of sleep has the effect of triggering feelings of loneliness, so the two problems tend to feed on each other.

Loneliness Raises Your Risk of All-Cause Mortality
Loneliness is also strongly linked to reduced life span.19 One 2015 meta-review20 concluded loneliness can raise your risk of dying by as much as 30%. Older adults are also more likely to die within 30 days of emergency surgery when loneliness is a factor.21

On the other side of the coin, maintaining strong and healthy social connections has been linked to a 50% reduced risk of early death.22,23 As reported by El Pais:24

"María Rosa Fernández, president of the Spanish Society of Cardiology's Vascular Risk and Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation Association, explains that cardiologists are so conscious of the negative impacts of loneliness that they immediately ask patients who have suffered serious heart problems like a heart attack about their psychosocial support.

'It's fundamental. A patient who has suffered a serious cardiac episode and lives alone is more likely to experience similar problems again. A person without sufficient family support is also more at risk of developing heart failure,' said Fernández …

Experts acknowledge that we still lack a clear understanding of how loneliness affects disease. But some specialists describe it as a continuous and vicious cycle.

One theory is that loneliness triggers a neuroendocrine response. 'People who feel lonely or who are considered to be socially isolated may show elevated activity of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, an increased response to chronic stress, elevated blood pressure and high blood cortisol levels,' stated a British study published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine.

The elevated levels of these physiological mechanisms are linked to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease and death. It all makes sense, says Fernández. 'The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis is activated in stressful situations and loneliness causes stress.' But she also notes the significant influence of a person's lifestyle.

'All social and psychosocial factors have an impact on cardiovascular health. The exact cause is not known, but not all lifestyles are the same. Someone who lives as a couple or in a family has less cardiovascular risk. Human beings are made to live in groups and in the company of others.'"

Children Harmed by Pandemic Isolation Measures
Not surprisingly, social distancing rules and lockdowns imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic have only worsened already epidemic levels of loneliness, especially among children. School closures have varied in length depending on location, but overall, children as a group have all missed out on socialization to some degree over the past three years.

Loneliness, social isolation and related depression and anxiety have all been cited as likely outcomes of school closures,25 driving some children with preexisting mental health issues "over the edge."26 One-third of U.S. parents surveyed said their child became more sad, depressed or lonely during the pandemic.27

Learning deficits have also skyrocketed. Prior to the pandemic, 57% of 10-year-olds in low and middle-income countries could not read properly. By mid-2022, that number had increased to 70%, thanks to extended school closures. In Latin America, 10-year-olds unable to read rose from 50% to 80%, and the effects could be lifelong, leading to $21 trillion lost due to lower lifetime earnings.28

Meanwhile, data show the suffering health officials and school administrators have put children through was all in vain, as the school closures had no effect on the spread of COVID-19 or COVID mortality.29,30

Effects of Mask Mandates on School Children
Mask mandates have also taken a tragic toll on children, resulting in higher levels of psychological and behavioral issues including irritability, difficulty concentrating and impaired learning. A German study31 published in February 2021 revealed the kinds of issues children were experiencing as a result of wearing face masks for an average of 270 minutes per day.

In all, 24 health issues were associated with wearing masks that fell into the categories of physical, psychological and behavioral issues. As reported by the authors:32

"… an online registry has been set up where parents, doctors, pedagogues and others can enter their observations. On 20 October 2020, 363 doctors were asked to make entries and to make parents and teachers aware of the registry.

By 26 October 2020, a total of 20,353 people had taken part in the survey. The group of parents alone entered data on a total of 25,930 children …

Of the respondents 68% reported that children complained about impairments caused by wearing the mask. Side effects included irritability (60%), headache (53%), difficulty concentrating (50%), less happiness (49%), reluctance to go to school/kindergarten (44%), malaise (42%) impaired learning (38%) and drowsiness/fatigue (37%)."

Loneliness and Isolation Are Tools of Tyrants
Any sensible human being can recognize that isolating children at home for months on end will have dire ramifications for both physical and mental health. Yet school administrators, health officials and government leaders around the world ignored the basics of psychology and threw caution to the wind.

As a result of their decisions, our children may pay a lifelong price, and for all we know, that may have been the intention all along. After all, loneliness and lack of social bonding are two of the foundational parameters needed to induce mass formation in the public sphere.

Mass formation, in turn, is a psychological state that allows tyrants to implement authoritarian control, and we now know this is precisely what the globalist cabal is trying to do. As explained by professor of psychology Mattias Desmet, mass formation is a form of collective hypnosis that make people sacrifice their freedom willingly.

Considering the globalist cabal has been working toward the implementation of a one world government for many decades, and the fact that its plans span even more decades into the future, it's not outside the realm of possibility that they intentionally wanted to make an entire generation psychologically primed to accept totalitarianism.

Loneliness and Addiction Go Hand in Hand
Aside from ill health, mental health problems and a higher mortality risk, loneliness is also associated with a greater risk of addiction to cigarettes, drugs and/or alcohol. As noted in the 1992 scientific review "Loneliness and Alcohol Abuse: A Review of Evidences of an Interplay":33

"… loneliness may be significant at all stages in the course of alcoholism: as a contributing and maintaining factor in the growth of abuse and as an encumbrance in attempts to give it up.

Concordant reports demonstrate that alcoholics do feel more lonely than members of most other groups do. In advanced abusers, loneliness is obviously connected with a number of negative characteristics and, together with several of those, directly linked to a poor prognosis."

Indeed, previous research34 found "feeling of loneliness" was the most important factor influencing the prognosis of advanced alcohol abusers. The American Addiction Centers also stresses that isolation is a barrier to getting and staying sober.35

Loneliness is also associated with a greater risk of addiction, and the rate of deaths directly attributed to alcohol rose by more than 25% in 2020, the first year of the pandemic, when many were self-isolating and working from home.
It's not surprising then that deaths attributed to excessive alcohol consumption in the U.S. started trending upward in tandem with COVID restrictions.

Between 2015 and 2019, 1 in 5 deaths (20.3%) in the 20- to 49-year age group was already related to excessive alcohol intake,36,37 and data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show the rate of deaths directly attributed to alcohol rose by more than 25% (25.4%) in 2020,38,39 the first year of the pandemic, when many were self-isolating and working from home.

The trend continued into 2021, by then up 34% from prepandemic levels.40 Clearly, designating liquor stores as an "essential business" during the pandemic was not in the best interests of public health.

Antidepressant Use Rose Significantly Over Past Three Years
Loneliness often leads to anxiety, depression and other mental health problems, which are then treated with antidepressant drugs, and several studies have confirmed that antidepressant prescriptions have skyrocketed since the pandemic began.

In Italy, monthly antidepressant use during 2020 was on average 20% higher compared to historical averages from 2015 through 2019. During the first four and last two months of 2020, the average use was 30% higher than the previous norm.41

Research from the U.K. found antidepressant prescriptions rose by 5.1% between 2021 and 2022.42 Antidepressant use among children under the age of 17 shot up by 9.2%. In all, 14.7% of Britons, some 56.5 million people, were on antidepressants during those two years.

A study43 that looked at prescription rates among Israelis found the pandemic was "associated with a significant increase in the slope of the incident rate of antidepressant fills."

By comparing actual prescription fills with models that estimated what the antidepressant use would have been, had there been no pandemic, they estimate the pandemic was responsible for a 2% rise in the average monthly prescription rate.

Prescription Drugs Often Make Matters Worse

(See the Rumble video at the end of this article)

Unfortunately, antidepressants often do more harm than good. Not only do they not work in most cases, they also come with a long laundry list of potential side effects. The reason these drugs are so frequently used in lieu of other interventions seems to have more to do with inertia than anything else, meaning psychiatrists are used to prescribing them and slow to embrace other techniques that require more time and effort.

It's certainly not because antidepressants have been proven to work the best. Far from it! On the contrary, studies have repeatedly demonstrated that placebos work as well or better than antidepressants. In the "60 Minutes" segment above, which originally aired in 2012, Dr. Irving Kirsch reviews this evidence.

According to Kirsch, who is the associate director of the Placebo Studies Program at Harvard Medical School, while many do appear to get better when taking an antidepressant, the response is not due to the chemicals in the drug, it's due to the placebo effect — the sheer expectation of healing.

Taking a sugar pill would provide the same effect, and typically does. In fact, the difference between the two is clinically insignificant. And not only that: Kirsch, to his surprise, discovered it didn't matter what drug was given. Virtually any drug tested against antidepressants provided the same amount of relief.

The only time you see a clinical difference, Kirsch says, is in the most extreme levels of depression. In those cases antidepressants outperform placebo, but in mild to moderate depression, which is what afflicts a majority of patients, there's no difference.

But what about all those studies supporting the use of antidepressants? After reviewing the evidence, Kirsch discovered the trick used to skew perception. Drug makers simply buried negative studies and only published those with positive results.

    Drug-Induced Dependence Is Commonplace
Sadly, many have been fooled into thinking they need an antidepressant or other psychiatric drug, and end up struggling with problems that are far worse than the initial complaint. As reported by The Berkshire Eagle:44

"'I was repeatedly told that because I took it as prescribed that I couldn't be dependent and that Ativan was harmless.' Geraldine Burns, of Boston, was prescribed Ativan — one of several pills classified as benzodiazepines or "benzos" (including Xanax, Valium and Klonopin) often prescribed to treat anxiety and insomnia — after the birth of her second child in 1988.

She had complained of a 'heavy feeling' and was given Ativan in the hospital. She was referred to a psychiatrist who prescribed Ativan to be taken regularly. She began to experience anxiety, agoraphobia and panic attacks — all which she had never had before.

Burns would soon stumble upon an article in a magazine that described her initial complaints of a 'heavy feeling' as being symptoms of a uterine infection that commonly happens after childbirth. Antibiotics cleared up the infection and the heavy feeling, but Burns remained on Ativan, as prescribed by her psychiatrist.

Over the next nine years, her prescription dosage would increase and so would her medical issues. She would be prescribed antidepressants and numerous other drugs to treat her growing list of ailments …"

Burns' story is one of several featured in Holly Hardman's film "As Prescribed." Burns became addicted to Ativan and struggled for years to get off it. As a result of her experiences.

Burns became a patient advocate and a driving force behind a new bill in Massachusetts that would require doctors to inform patients about the risks of long-term use of benzodiazepines and non-benzodiazepine hypnotics before prescribing them. The bill also requires the establishment of a protocol to wean patients of these drugs. During a hearing of the bill, Burns said:45

"The people in this room today were all good patients. None of us took more than we were told. None of us abused them. We were told they were safe, harmless and non-addictive and that's not true.

I called my psychiatrist and told her my symptoms when I tried to stop taking the Ativan. She told me to keep taking it, that I'd have to take it for the rest of my life and to stop questioning her."

    Overcoming Loneliness
If you struggle with loneliness, you're not alone. Following are several strategies, pulled from a variety of sources, that can help.46,47,48 It's important to realize that there's no pill or potion to cure loneliness, but there are strategies that can minimize the secondary harms it can cause.

Join a club — Proactive approaches to meeting others include joining a club and planning get-togethers with family, friends or neighbors, Meetup.com is an online source where you can locate a vast array of local clubs and get-togethers. Many communities also have community gardens where you can benefit from the outdoors while mingling with your neighbors.

Learn a new skill — Consider enrolling in a class or taking an educational course.

Create rituals of connection — Rituals are a powerful means for reducing loneliness. Examples include having weekly talk sessions with your girlfriends and/or making meal time a special time to connect with your family without rushing.

Consider a digital cleanse — If your digital life has overtaken face-to-face interactions, consider taking a break from social media while taking proactive steps to meet people in person.

Research shows Facebook may be more harmful than helpful to your emotional well-being, raising your risk of depression — especially if your contacts' posts elicit envy. In one study,49 Facebook users who took a one-week break from the site reported significantly higher levels of life satisfaction and a significantly improved emotional life.

Make good use of digital media — For others, a phone call or text message can be a much-needed lifeline. Examples of this include sending encouraging text messages to people who are struggling with loneliness, offering support and help to live healthier lives and follow through on healthy lifestyle changes.

Exercise with others — Joining a gym or signing up with a fitness-directed club or team sport will create opportunities to meet people while improving your physical fitness at the same time.

Shop local — Routinely frequenting local shops, coffee shops or farmers markets will help you develop a sense of community and encourage the formation of relationships.

Talk to strangers — Talking to strangers in the store, in your neighborhood or on your daily commute is often a challenge, but can have many valuable benefits, including alleviating loneliness (your own and others'). Talking to strangers builds bridges between ordinary people who may not otherwise forge a connection.

People of the opposite gender, different walks of life or different cultures hold a key to opening up to new ideas or making connections with old ones. In this short video, reporter for The Atlantic, Dr. James Hamblin, demonstrates techniques for learning how to talk with strangers.

Volunteer — Volunteering is another way to increase your social interactions and pave the way for new relationships.

Adopt a companion pet — A dog or cat can provide unconditional love and comfort, and studies show that owning a pet can help protect against loneliness, depression and anxiety. The bond that forms between a person and a companion pet can be incredibly fulfilling and serves, in many ways, as an important and rewarding relationship. The research on this is really quite profound.

For instance, having a dog as a companion could add years to your life,50 as studies have shown that owning a dog played a significant role on survival rates in heart attack victims. Studies have also revealed that people on Medicaid or Medicare who own a pet make fewer visits to the doctor.51

The unconditional acceptance and love a dog gives to their owner positively impacts their owner's emotional health in ways such as:

    Boosting self-confidence and self-esteem
Helping to meet new friends and promoting communication between elderly residents and neighbors
Helping you cope with illness, loss and depression
    Reducing stress levels
Providing a source of touch and affiliation
If you're looking for a furry friend, check out your local animal shelter. Most are filled with cats and dogs looking for someone to love. Petfinder.com52 is another excellent resource for finding a pet companion.

Move and/or change jobs — While the most drastic of all options, it may be part of the answer for some. To make it worthwhile, be sure to identify the environment or culture that would fit your personality best and consider proximity to longtime friends and family.

Additional ResourcesIf you're feeling depressed or anxious on a regular basis, a strategy that can provide more immediate results is the use of Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT (sometimes called "tapping").

In the video above, Julie Schiffman demonstrates a tapping strategy to relieve anxiety and other challenging emotions. If you aren't familiar with EFT you'll find a library of demonstrations at "Basic Steps to Your Emotional Freedom." Videos addressing a variety of emotional states and conditions can also be found on JulieSchiffman.com.

Another alternative is the Neuro-Emotional Technique's First Aid Stress Tool, or NET FAST, demonstrated in the video above. Firstaidstresstool.com also provides an excellent printable summary with visuals of the technique,53 which even a young child can do. Here is a summary of the FAST procedure:

While thinking about an issue that is bothering you, place your right wrist, palm up, into your left hand. Place three fingers of your left hand onto the area of your right wrist where you can feel your pulse
Place your open right hand on your forehead. Gently breathe in and out several times while concentrating on feeling the issue that bothers you
Switch hands and repeat Steps 1 and 2
    Suicide Prevention Resources
If you feel a sense of creeping despair, please reach out to family, friends or any of the available suicide prevention services:

The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (U.S.) — Call 988 to speak with a crisis counselor
Crisis Text Line — Text HOME to 741741
Alternatively, call 911, or simply go to your nearest Hospital Emergency Department."

‘RARE VICTORY’: WHO ‘MONSTERS’ TAKE MAJOR BLOW
    2/13/23
    https://forbiddenknowledgetv.net/rar...ke-major-blow/

"I ran across this excellent bit of news when Gen Michael Flynn posted this video on TRUTHSocial. Australian Senator Malcolm Roberts announces that the latest attempt by the WHO make their International Health Regulations “mandatory” on member states, rather than “guidance” has failed but he warns that we’re not out of the woods, yet.
    https://forbiddenknowledgetv.net/100...to-exitthewho/

The Fascist lockdowns, masking, social distancing, testing and vaccine mandates that we’ve all lived through during the fake pandemic were merely “guidance” from the WHO, which were voluntarily adopted by various jurisdictions. Imagine if they had been “binding” and codified into law!

As Senator Roberts says here, “This would have represented a complete destruction of Australian sovereignty,” and of all other nations’ sovereignty.”

Last year, the previous presidential administration of Australia (and the Biden Regime) had voted in favor of these same changes in the WHO’s the Pandemic Treaty, where they are also present – but thankfully, there were enough other countries that weren’t completely captured (mostly in Africa) who voted against these changes and their votes won the day.

These draconian changes have now been dropped from the International Health Regulations and the WHO will, for now remain an advisory body.

However, the Pandemic Treaty will be voted on again in 2024 and these tyrannical changes will still need to be voted down, yet again!"

Like his globalist counterpart, World Economic Forum leader Klaus Schwab, Jacques Attali is the lesser-known architect shaping the future.

If you have never heard of Jacques Attali, that might be intentional. Among the globalist architects, he is a shadowy figure who not only influences the course of French politics but also shapes our future – globally. Is Jacques Attali merely a spokesman presenting the plans for powerful globalist networks, or could he be the real mastermind behind moving us all toward a Great Reset?

Well I hope these mass mind-control attempts are failing and losing ground - speaking to which, it's time for the US to defund and withdraw from the UN and WHO - with these shrill control attempts only waking more of us up (I sure hope).

U.N. Demands ‘Global Guidelines’ on Internet Speech to Silence ‘Insects Thriving in the Dark’

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), an agency best known for maintaining a list of humanity’s most valuable cultural heritage sites, demanded the establishment of “global guidelines for the regulation of social media” in a conference on Wednesday to address alleged “disinformation.”

Participating in the conference, based in Paris, were Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva – a convicted felon who spuriously referred to his opponent Jair Bolsonaro as a “pedophile” in an online podcast during last year’s presidential race – and Maria Ressa, a Filipino journalist who faced government persecution for allegedly reporting disinformation online under former President Rodrigo Duterte.

UNESCO’s event was titled the “Internet for Trust Conference” and featured speakers demanding a global governance structure to silence “hate speech, misogyny, suppression of free speech, doxxing and conspiracy theories.” The agency emphasized its opposition to sovereign countries taking individual actions they deemed appropriate to address the existence of speech online.

“If these regulatory initiatives are developed in isolation, with each country working in their own corner, they are doomed to fail. Information disruption is by definition a global problem, so our reflections must take place at the global scale,” UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay lamented on Wednesday, noting that “at least 55 countries are working on” suppression of speech online.

In a promotional video to announce the conference, a spokesman for UNESCO referred to users online violating the boundaries of appropriate speech as “insects thriving in the dark.”

In her address on Thursday, Azoulay argued that regulation was necessary online because the truth is allegedly unpopular.

“The blurring of boundaries between true and false, the highly-organized denial of scientific facts, the amplification of disinformation and conspiracies – these did not originate on social networks,” the UNESCO head said. “But, in the absence of regulation, they flourish there much better than the truth.”

“Only by taking the full measure of this technological revolution can we ensure it does not sacrifice human rights, freedom of expression and democracy. For information to remain a common good, we must reflect and act now, together,” she demanded.

Lula da Silva used his address to lament the January 8 Brasilia riot, in which Bolsonaro supporters stormed the Brazilian Congress, the headquarters of the supreme court, and the Planalto presidential palace. While destroying parts of all three facilities, the riots – unlike those in past years by leftists in neighboring Peru, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, and Ecuador, among other countries – did not result in any deaths and only a small number of injuries.

The Brazilian protesters convened in the capital on January 8 to protest Lula’s inauguration into a third term as president. The hardline leftist president had been arrested following the end of his second term in 2011 on charges of corruption while in office. He was convicted on multiple appeals and sentenced to over two decades in prison for using bribe money to buy a luxury property – an investigation that resulted from a much larger police probe known as “Operation Car Wash,” which unveiled a massive corruption apparatus in the government organized under Lula. The nation’s top court, the Supreme Federal Tribunal (STF), overturned Lula’s convictions in 2021 on a technicality, presenting no exonerating evidence but allowing him to run for president.

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” — Revelation 13:16-17

In China, as you have likely heard, the government has been experimenting with a “social credit” system aimed at giving politicians even greater control over people’s behavior. China was, of course, also the country whose authoritarian “lockdown” response to the outbreak of SARS‑CoV‑2—the coronavirus that causes COVID‑19 and was likely engineered in a Chinese lab with US government funding—was pointed to as a model for the rest of the world to follow by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The WHO has since been aiming to acquire even more centralized global authority to issue diktats in the event of another pandemic, such as implementation of “lockdown” measures that might include travel restrictions, prevention of employment, and vaccine mandates or passport systems.

As of December 2020, around the time of the initial outbreak of the virus in Wuhan, China, social credit laws and regulations had been implemented in an estimated 80 percent of the country.

Naturally, the system is characterized by its proponents as a benevolent means to reward socially responsible people while denying privileges to unsavory and untrustworthy characters and businesses. But you and I both recognize the grave threat posed by politicians wielding this type of power and control over the population. It is an obvious threat to privacy and liberty.

The people of China regrettably but unsurprisingly appear to have welcomed this system, although the perception of public approval might be largely an artifact of people being afraid to publicly criticize the system lest their names be placed on one of the government’s “blacklists”.

As with any law or government policy, we should view it through the lens of how such power could be used as opposed to how politicians say they intend to use it.

A glimpse of how it could be used is the city of Rongcheng’s prohibition on “spreading harmful information”, violations of which could result in subtraction of points of residents’ social credit scores.

Such prohibitions must be seen in light of how governments are in the habit of interpreting “harmful information” as any information that does not align with the adopted political agenda. In the US during the COVID‑19 pandemic, there has been no greater purveyor of misinformation than the US government itself.

According to MIT Technology Review, the central government actually pressed the city to scale back the threat to individual liberty posed by its social credit system, such as enabling residents to opt-out. “The Chinese government did emphasize that all social-credit-related punishment has to adhere to existing laws,” the Review states, “but laws themselves can be unjust in the first place.”

The takeaway from that article is that “the social credit system does not (yet) exemplify abuse of advanced technologies like artificial intelligence”. But that’s no reason for the citizenry to consent to the implementation of systems that are conducive to extreme governmental abuses of authority.

A July 2019 article in Wired magazine related the example of Liu Hu, a journalist who was arrested, fined, and blacklisted, reportedly for writing about censorship and government corruption. He found himself on “a “List of Dishonest Persons Subject to Enforcement by the Supreme People’s Court as ‘not qualified’ to buy a plane ticket, and banned from travelling some train lines, buying property, or taking out a loan.”

A more recent Newsweek article appropriately describes the system this way:

On an individual level, the government seeks to instill in the public an increased sense of morality to discourage everything from fraud and plagiarism to counterfeit goods and petty crime. But a system to make individual actions more transparent would necessitate the creation of tools to monitor all aspects of life. Social control, if not the original aim, could be an inevitable consequence, researchers say.

. . . While China’s vision of the system has yet to emerge as a dystopian tool for control driven by big data, there are real concerns about the way personal information is to be collected and processed to create social credit profiles, which could have lasting implications for individuals.

An untrustworthy government has no place dictating to its citizens what types of behaviors should be regarded as creating or breaking trust.

Human Rights Watch provides the example of lawyer Li Xioaolin, who was denied a plane ticket home while away on a work trip inside China because his name was on a blacklist of “untrustworthy” people in relation to a years-old court-related issue that he thought he had resolved.

According to Human Rights Watch, journalist Liu Hu was punished not for criticizing the government and exposing corruption but for having offered an apology that the government deemed “insincere” after losing a defamation case for publishing an article alleging that someone was an extortionist. Still, the organization notes, in both cases, “penalties were exacted in wildly arbitrary and unaccountable manners.” Additionally, “the courts failed to notify them, leaving them no chance to contest their treatment.”

According to the human rights organization, between 2013 and 2017, the Chinese government imposed more than seven million punishments to people for failing to carry out local court orders, which punishments have included publicly naming and shaming individuals and barring them from flights and trains.

After experiencing the totalitarianism of the disastrously harmful lockdown regimes and the accompanying efforts to coerce the population into accepting COVID‑19 vaccines and to censor truths countering the government’s incessant lies (I was permanently banned from LinkedIn, for example, for accurately reporting that the CDC’s claim that COVID‑19 vaccines provide greater protection against SARS‑CoV‑2 infection than natural immunity was a bald-faced lie), it should not be too difficult to imagine such a system being dangerously used to silence critics and punish dissenters so that whatever ruling regime can continue its crimes against humanity unobstructed.

The idea of a “social credit” score, of course, is inherently tied to the idea of central banking. In the US, the central bank is the Federal Reserve, a government-legislated private monopoly over the supply of currency. Increasingly, there is talk of a central bank digital currency, heightening concerns about the government having the means to exercise power over us and control our behavior.

    “Project Hamilton”
As an example of how the Fed is exploring the idea of adopting a digital currency, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has teamed up with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston under the appropriately named “Project Hamilton”.

Alexander Hamilton, of course, was instrumental in the adoption of central banking by the US government, famously at odds with Thomas Jefferson, who rightly opposed the idea and warned about the dangers inherent in such an institution. Jefferson appeared to hold the view that the means of exchange and interest rates ought to be determined by the market as opposed to being determined by fiat by a roomful of central planners.

Jefferson accurately foresaw how the government would use the central bank to pay for its spending as an alternative to raising taxes directly, and how the debt that would consequently be incurred by this uncontrolled spending would ultimately be borne by future generations.

In a letter to John Wayles Eppes in 1813, for example, Jefferson wrote:

I have said that the taxes should be continued by annual or biennial re-enactments; because a constant hold, by the nation, of the strings of the public purse, is a salutary restraint, from which an honest government ought not to wish, nor a corrupt one to be permitted, to be free. No tax should ever be yielded for longer than that of the Congress granting it, except when pledged for the reimbursement of a loan.

. . . Bank-paper must be suppressed, and the circulating medium must be restored to the nation to whom it belongs. . . . Treasury bills, bottomed on taxes, bearing, or not bearing interest, as may be found necessary, thrown into circulation, will take the place of so much gold & silver, which last, when crouded, will find an efflux into other countries, and thus keep the quantum of medium at its salutary level.

In a letter to John Taylor in 1816, Jefferson described central banking as rightly “reprobated” and as “a blot left in all our constitutions, which, if not covered, will end in their destruction”. He wrote, “And I sincerely believe with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; & that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale”.

Jefferson viewed the federal government as having no authority to institute a central banking system. As he wrote in 1791, “The incorporation of a bank, and the powers assumed by this bill, have not, in my opinion, been delegated to the United States, by the Constitution.”

The stated aim of Project Hamilton “is to investigate the technical feasibility of a general purpose central bank digital currency (CBDC) that could be used by an economy the size of the United States and to gain a hands-on understanding of a CBDC’s technical challenges, opportunities, risks, and tradeoffs.”

The project is part of MIT’s “Digital Currency Initiative”, which is aimed at bringing minds together “to conduct the research necessary to support the development of digital currency and blockchain technology.”

The aim of the collaboration with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston has been “to develop a hypothetical CBDC.” MIT describes the possibility of a “central-bank-issued digital currency” as “a unique opportunity to address challenges in our existing payments system and design an economy that is more resilient, participatory, and open.”

We can reasonably assume that Thomas Jefferson, were he alive today, would disagree and view the idea as anathema to both a sound economy and a free society.

Noting that it was Alexander Hamilton “who laid the foundation for a U.S. central bank”, a project white paper published in February 2022 concluded that it is “critical” for research to continue for “achieving goals for a CBDC.” That is, it is not a question of whether the Fed should adopt a digital currency but how and when.

Biden’s Executive Order and Project Lithium
In January 2022, the Federal Reserve Board of Governors similarly published a paper titled “Money and Payments: The U.S. Dollar in the Age of Digital Transformation”, the aim of which was “to foster a broad and transparent public dialogue about CBDCs in general, and about the potential benefits and risks of a U.S. CBDC.”

Then in March 2022 President Joe Biden signed an “Executive Order on Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets”, which declares the supposed need for the US government to “regulate” digital assets, including for the purpose of preventing circumvention of its sanctions regimes—in which context we might remember the US government’s criminal sanctions regime against Iraq in the 1990s and how Secretary of State Madeleine Albright insisted that the “price” of half-a-million dead Iraqi children was “worth it”.

The executive order, number 14067, describes how the government has an interest in maintaining the US dollar’s “central role” in “the global financial system”, which refers to the use of the dollar as a reserve currency. To that end, the order states, the Biden administration “places the highest urgency on research and development efforts into the potential design and deployment options of a United States CBDC.”

The White House is intent on determining what actions would be required to launch such a currency “if doing so is deemed to be in the national interest”. Of course, as the example of half a million excess childhood deaths in Iraq due to sanctions once again illustrates, determining just what is in the “national interest” is not a task that government policymakers seem particularly good at.

The lockdown measures, which utterly failed to project those at highest risk from COVID-19 while causing devastating harms globally, are another useful example of the ineptitude of policymakers when it comes to making decision that are in our best interests.

Following Biden’s executive order, in April 2022, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) announced “the development of the first prototype to explore how a CBDC might operate”. This endeavor was given the name “Project Lithium”, on which the DTCC is collaborating with The Digital Dollar Project (DDP), an organization that advocates US leadership “in advancing a CBDC” and encourages the executive branch of government “to support appropriate legislation” to authorize further research and development of such a currency.

The DDP published a white paper in May 2020 concluding that the US government “should, and must, take a leadership role in this new wave of digital innovation” and preserve the dollar’s role as “the world’s primary reserve currency” by working toward “the launch of a tokenized digital dollar”.

    End the Fed!
Naturally, advocates of a central bank digital currency describe the aims of such a development as benign, just as the Federal Reserve system was originally established on the pretext that having a more centrally controlled economy would benefit all.

In truth, the Federal Reserve system serves the interests of the financially and political elite at the expense of the rest of us. Central banking itself, whatever the form of currency issued, is harmful to the economy because central banks essentially exist to effect a transfer of wealth upward. Schools of economic thought like Keynesianism and Modern Monetary Theory (MMT), which I like to refer to as “Keynesianism 2.0”, exist to justify the existence of central banks.

The Fed, a government-legislated private monopoly over the currency supply, enables the government to spend on whatever, including endless wars (euphemistically called “defense” spending), but the means of paying for it all, the creation of “money” out of thin air, results in upward wealth transfer. The elite classes who receive the newly created dollars first are able to spend it for purchasing assets prior to the resulting devaluation that manifests in the form of higher prices for goods and services.

Monetary inflation robs us of our purchasing power so serves as a hidden tax. It also causes widespread malinvestment and major economic distortions like the housing bubble that burst in 2007 and precipitated the 2008 financial crisis, not to mention the current housing bubble and general asset inflation. (For more on that, see my book Ron Paul vs. Paul Krugman: Austrian vs. Keynesian Economics in the Financial Crisis.)

We are meant to believe we need centralized control over the currency supply for economic growth, but central banks instead serve to impede real economic growth in favor of enabling the government’s endlessly wasteful and harmful spending.

The chief appeal of a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin is that it is a decentralized medium of exchange that serves to compete with central-bank-issued currency and potentially enables people to opt-out of the exploitative dollar system. The idea of a “legal tender” digital currency in the hands of the bankers and politicians is anathema to the whole concept of a peer-to-peer electronic cash system.

One might argue that the replacement of print dollars with a centrally controlled cryptocurrency is just a natural evolution from the current system, in which exchange of actual cash is becoming less frequent and most transactions occur digitally anyway. We should keep up with the times and adapt to advancements in technology, the argument goes.

However, this overlooks the more fundamental issue that we should not have central banks in the first place. The way I see it, the movement towards replacing the US dollar with a Fed-issued cryptocurrency is far from benign. We have seen in the past few years just how far government policymakers are willing to go to exercise authoritarian control over us.

To illustrate, remember how businesses deemed “non-essential” were shut down by clueless bureaucrats under threat of punishment and coercive measures including mandates and travel restrictions were used to get people to accept COVID‑19 vaccinations?

With the World Economic Forum (WEF) having announced its “Great Reset” agenda, which ties directly into the global mass vaccination agenda, the advocates of greater centralized control over society do not deserve the benefit of our doubt about their intentions. It would be naïve to think that if the authoritarians in government had even greater means to penalize citizens for disobedience to the regime that they would not attempt to use it. It is safer to assume that if they can utilize a digital currency to control our behavior, they will.

It seems therefore imperative to oppose a centralized digital currency, but we also need to go further than that and oppose the existence of the Federal Reserve altogether. Whatever the form of currency, centralized economic planning is an abomination and anathema to the principle of a free market.

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” — Revelation 18:4

FBI Facial Recognition Confirms Initial Jan6 Breachers Were Federal Agents
    Forbidden Knowledge TV <newsletter@forbiddenknowledgetv.net>

"Based on his communications with federal whistleblowers internal to the , Pete Santilli corroborates Tucker Carlson’s claim that the J6 footage had been run through Facial Recognition software to identify the individuals who broke into the Capitol Building on January 6th, 2021. It was found that of those who were alongside Ray Epps, at the first breach, who knocked down the barricades at the Capitol steps and who were the first to break into the Capitol, the majority were Federal Agents, who were there as provocateurs, which Pete says this made it difficult for the DOJ to find anyone to prosecute.

There were Special Forces Operatives at the Capitol in uniform, along with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force members in plain clothes. In addition to these Federal Agents, there were also Ukrainian Azov Battalion (Nazi) members associated with John McCain and Lindsey Graham from the 2014 overthrow days and this is why the FBI would not release the facial recognition data to Tucker Carlson.

Pete says there are internal whistleblowers who are prohibited from discussing this openly and would have to do so under oath and in court. Sadly, many of the judges are corrupt and don’t want these facts to come out, so they’re not calling these witnesses – such as US District Court Judge Tim Kelly, who is currently presiding over the Proud Boys case.

Despite the fact that the FBI accidentally revealed data which shows they have been lying and despite the fact that this is now out in the Mainstream Media – and the House has vowed to investigate the matter – Judge Kelly, who had suspended the trial last Wednesday has now resumed the trial, to which Pete says, “I’m going to have to call it what it is: that Judge Kelly, at this point, is now complicit, as part of this Color Revolutionary attempt to overthrow the United States of America by not doing the right thing .”

At the same time that the truth about January 6th is blowing up in the Fifth Column Traitors’ faces, the Silicon Valley Bank crisis is being artificially engineered to change the narrative. It also distracts attention away from the ecological disaster in East Palestine, OH, it distracts away from Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s comment last week that Americans kids will fight the war in Ukraine, it distracts from Russia’s recent victories in Ukraine, it distracts from the Chinese-brokered Saudi-Iran diplomatic deal, it creates an artificial crisis to “solve” that makes Biden look competent, it creates an opportunity to raise the debt ceiling and it creates an opportunity to further the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

Pete says we’re witnessing the controlled demolition of our financial system to usher in Joe Biden’s Executive Order 14067, which outlines the implementation of the CBDC."
