A South African guy who lived in China for 14 years and is married to a Chinese woman has had a rather horiffic experiment with the CCP.
    This is rather scary.

Communist China uses Cancel Culture against YOU!

The same guy talks about youtubers (foreigners) who are being financed to promote China and the CCP.
Quite interesting, helps one understand where all the positive youtube videos about China come from:

Here's an article from The Times about how Beijing funds British youtubers to further its propaganda war (it looks like that's one of the reasons why some people still think the Uyghurs are not being treated badly at all). Worth a read.

3 GORGES DAM/ FLOODS/ EARTHQUAKES -- LIVE CHAT WITH JAMES

(This senior gentleman rambles a lot, is "chatty" and is a bit eccentric, but he has contacts in China and has lived there himself.
The source I was using most for 3 Gorges Dam coverage is no longer on youtube, and it's only become more difficult to get any real, uncensored news about China.
But this man is doing his best to fill the gap.)

"From the evening of May 21 to the early morning of May 22, a total of 12 hours, a series of earthquakes occurred in four places in mainland China, namely Yunnan, Sichuan, Qinghai and Shaanxi.
The first earthquake, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake in Yangbi County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province.
The second earthquake, a 3.4 magnitude earthquake in Xuyong County, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province.
The third earthquake, magnitude 7.4 in Mado County, Qinghai Province.
The fourth earthquake, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake in Shangluo, Shaanxi.
Floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, and the coronavirus outbreak that originated from Wuhan - why are there so many disasters in China? In ancient traditional Chinese culture, there is a saying that "heaven and mankind are united" and "connection between heaven and mankind". When there are abnormalities, people, especially the ones in power, have to reflect on it, offer sacrifices to the heavens, and even issue imperial edicts for sins.
Since 2020, the Chinese Communist regime has fallen into a more serious internal and external crisis, with an internal economic downturn and a dark tide of power struggle among various factions; externally, the wolf warrior diplomacy has made the international community more united against the hegemony of the Chinese Communist Party, resulting in a diplomatic defeat and suppressions from the international community. Under the multiple crises, the CCP's regime is shaking like the recent unexplained shaking of the Sage Plaza Building."

"At around 6:30 a.m. on June 13th, a gas explosion occurred at a farm market in Zhangwan District of Shiyan City, Hubei Province.

The authorities said the accident was caused by a natural gas leak from the pipeline after preliminary analysis, but official media said the investigation is still underway.

The incident occurred when the food market was already open for business, and many people were buying and selling fresh food and eating breakfast.

The safety inspection conducted by the official safety supervisory departments is mostly a mere formality. "

In fact, since May 11 this year, the southern part of China has experienced several heavy rainfalls. As reported by Chinese media, due to the high overlap of rainfall areas, some rivers and lakes have risen in water level and caused flooding of different scales in the area."

World’s 2nd Largest Hydropower Station Begins Operation, Bring More Risks to The Three Gorges Dam

"World’s Second Largest 16 GW Mega Hydropower Station Begins Operation, May Bring More Risks to The Three Gorges Dam

On the morning of June 28th, the first turbines of China's Baihetan hydropower station were officially put into operation, with a total installed capacity of 16GW, ranking second in the world after the Three Gorges hydropower station with 22.5GW.

According to mainland media reports, Baihetan hydropower plant is located on the main stream of Jinsha River at the junction of Qiaojia County in Yunnan Province and Ningnan County in Sichuan Province, with a total investment of about 34 billion USD, which is 2.5 billion more than the Three Gorges Project.

The Baihetan Project is the largest and most technically challenging hydropower project in the world. It consists of a dam, flood discharge and energy dissipation facilities, water diversion, power generation system, and more. The normal storage level of the reservoir is 825 meters, with a total storage capacity of 20.6 billion cubic meters. the dam is a concrete double curvature arch dam, with an arc length of 209m, an elevation of 834m and a maximum height of 289m.

The Jinsha River is rich in hydropower resources. The 500 kilometers long downstream section from Panzhihua City to Yibin City in Sichuan, has a drop of 719 meters. On this section of the river alone, China’s Three Gorges Group has built four giant hydroelectric power stations. In addition to Baihetan hydropower station, the other three are Wudongde, Xiluodu, Xiangjiaba stations. The total installed capacity of the four power stations reached 46 GW, accounting for half of the total installed capacity of the Jinsha River hydropower development plan. At present, the first units of Wudongde Hydropower Station started operation in June 2020, while Xiluodu and Xiangjiaba Stations have achieved full power generation in June 2014 and July 2014, respectively.

Xi Jinping's congratulatory letter gave full recognition to the Baihetan project, and said, “this fully demonstrates that socialism is worked for, and the new era is fought for.” Xi's statement is in line with Beijing authorities' massive construction of numerous hydropower plants on the Jinsha River, which is in line with the CCP’s long-time philosophy of "conquering and transforming nature.”

However, the consequences of "conquering and transforming nature” are often the opposite of what’s expected. "

"More than 60 percent of China's population of 1.4 billion currently lives in cities. Within a decade, the share of urban dwellers is expected to increase to 75 percent. Construction is booming and competition for residential land is fierce.

But the right to live in a city in China is conditional. Authorities want their modern cities to be peopled with well-educated, highly-qualified or politically well-connected residents. As a result, certain standards have to be met to be eligible for a modern, urban home. Only members of China's political classes and the financially successful have a hope of qualifying. Yet more than half of the people who live in cities are so-called "migrant workers." They come from rural communities and have no official rights to settle in cities. They are there to work. With no proper rights, they are merely tolerated while they serve as merchants, servants, waitstaff, cleaners, construction workers and tradespeople. But while they are indispensable to daily life in the cities, they are unable to afford their exorbitant rents. This documentary looks at how and where these workers live, and asks whether middle and working class Chinese even figure in the official vision of shiny, high-tech cities. The filmmakers also look at what happens to those who oppose official plans, or stand in the way of the building boom."

"Many people think that "made in China" stands for inferior quality, so let's dig deeper for the causes.

In the five years from 2007 to 2012, a total of 37 bridges collapsed in China, including 13 bridges under construction, which killed 182 people and injured 177, an average of 7.4 "deadly bridges" per year.

In 2008, it was found that many infants were suffering from kidney stones after consuming Sanlu milk powder, which was found to contain melamine and cyanuric acid. According to china’s Ministry of Health, "By the end of December 2008, a cumulative total of 296,000 children with kidney stones caused by consumption of Sanlu milk powder had been reported nationwide, and 52,898 were hospitalized and treated. The Sanlu incident caused an international outcry and 27 countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, and Italy, immediately announced a ban on the import of Chinese dairy products and related products.

Two dams collapsed, 71K are at risk, China severe flood, dam failure
    5,510 views 7/20/21
    China Observer

"The collapse of Two Dams in Inner Mongolia; Worst Fears have Come True
According to the official website of the Ministry of Water Resources of China, between 8:00 p.m. on July 17th and 2:00 p.m. on July 18th, heavy to severe rainfall occurred in Morin Dawa Banner of Hulunbuir City, an Autonomous Region in Inner Mongolia. At 1:48 p.m. on July 18th, a dam collapsed at Yongan Reservoir on a tributary of the Nuomin River in Mo Banner; after the collapse of the dam, a large amount of floodwater rushed into Xinfa Reservoir 13 kilometers downstream, causing another dam to collapse at about 3:30 p.m. at Xinfa Reservoir, which has a capacity of 38 million Cubic Metres.

According to mainland media reports, the people of the four downstream villages have been evacuated, and authorities have yet to announce casualty numbers. On the night of the 18th, the flood has merged into the mainstream of the Nuomin River. Flooding caused the G111 national highway in Mo Banner to collapse, causing road disruptions. Downstream villages and farmlands have been turned into a sea of water.

It is reported that 16,660 people were affected by the dam breach, and 54,000 acres of farmland were flooded. The flood also destroyed 22 bridges, 124 culverts, 15.6 kilometers of highways, and 20 kilometers of road shoulders.

From information on the web, we know that Xinfa Reservoir was built in 1958 and started operation in 1959. No information was found on Yongan Reservoir, but it’s said that the two reservoirs went through reinforcement and maintenance in 1997. It’s estimated that the two reservoirs were built around the same time.

According to 2021 statistics from the Ministry of Water Resources, there are 98,000 reservoirs in China, including 4,700 reservoirs with a capacity of 10 Million to 1 Billion cubic meters, and 94,000 reservoirs with a capacity of 100,000 to 10 million cubic meters. More than 80% of them were built in the 1950s and 1970s, and more than 95% before the 1980s. The information shows that over 95% of China's reservoir dams are earth and rock-fill dams, and their lifespans are usually only about 50 years. Therefore, most of the dams in China have exceeded or are approaching the end of their design life.

According to the statistics of dams from 1954 to 2001, the annual rate of dam failures in China reached 0.088%, while the average annual rate of dam failures overseas since 1900, excluding those caused by war, is 0.02% in the United States, 0.004% in Japan, and 0.02% on average in the world. Therefore, the average annual rate of dam failures in China is more than four times the world average.

In August 2013, flooding across six provinces in China resulted in many deaths and injuries due to dam collapses. In an article titled "China's Dangerous Dams: 179 Cities Facing Dam Collapse," the Chinese media outlet NetEase News said that more than 84,000 small and medium-sized reservoirs in China lack funds for management and maintenance, and that dams would collapse from time to time. As a result of reservoir and dam problems, 179 cities, a quarter of all cities in China, and 285 counties, a sixth of all counties, are facing serious risks.

Last year, China experienced the most severe flooding since 1998, causing damage to 131 large and medium-sized reservoirs and 1991 small reservoirs."

"Collapse convergence: Floods, droughts, famine, biowar and currency implosion

While plenty of people can survive one crisis at a time -- such as a food shortage or short-term flood -- very few people are prepared to survive a multi-layered, engineered cluster of catastrophes that are unleashed on top of each other.

My urgent message for all those who wish to survive is that we need to prepare for simultaneous, engineered collapse events that are timed for maximum destruction. The demonic mass murderers in charge of our planet right now are deliberately trying to eliminate as many human beings as possible, and the depopulation vaccines are just the beginning.

Despite all this doom and gloom, preparedness makes this survivable. Because prepared humans are hard to kill."

(Dr. Joseph Farrell talks about why the CCP is weakening and becoming desperate, in part due to the decades of building faulty dams, and he alludes to possible weather weaponry that may be part of the cause of so much unprecedented flooding. More details about the flooding in the Zero Hedge article he cites here: https://www.zerohedge.com/weather/da...-last-48-hours )

Flooded Tunnel Was Drained, Hundreds of Cars Found, but You Will Never Know the Truth

"Recently, the massive flooding in Henan Province has drawn global attention. The subsequent announcement of the rescue, death and injury toll and disaster conditions shook the hearts of millions of people.

On the afternoon of July 25th, Henan Province held a flood control emergency news conference. The conference stated that according to preliminary statistics, from July 16th to 25th, this round of heavy rainfall affected 139 counties (cities, districts) in Henan province. A total of 1464 townships and 11.45 million people were affected. 63 people died, and 5 people are missing.

According to official information from Zhengzhou, the rescue of Line 5 is now basically over.

Let's take a look at the rescue situation in the Jingguang Road tunnel. In the afternoon of July 20th, the tunnel was flooded in merely 5 minutes, and a large number of people were trapped in their vehicles. The authorities' handling of the situation was even more unacceptable. On the afternoon of July 21st, after most of those trapped have been submerged for nearly a day, authorities finally began pumping out the water. At that time, the depth of water accumulated in the Jingguang North Road Tunnel was about 13 meters.

On July 24th, rescue work for the Jingguang Road tunnel was wrapping up. The previous person in charge also told The Paper that in the Jingguang North Road tunnel, they found 265 cars, and there are only 4-5 cars remaining.

This is significantly different from the death toll reported by netizens on the Internet, and The Paper previously reported that there were thousands of vehicles flooded. The video shared by netizens shows that the tunnel entrance was flooded with a mountain of cars. The number of fatalities is estimated to be in the hundreds or even thousands based on the number of vehicles towed out.

But according to videos taken by netizens online, although the scene has been taken over by the military and put under martial law, a large number of people are still watching at the exit, waiting for news of their families. On the evening of July 23rd, near the Jingguang Road tunnel, the families of many victims mourned their loved ones in the streets.

At present, videos and information about the Jingguang Road tunnel have been banned from social media platforms such as WeChat and Weibo. Even the official Chinese media, CCTV, did not report the specific situation, and news of the flooding in Zhengzhou was buried by news of returning to a normal life. The "truth about the Jingguang Road Tunnel" is no longer available in the Chinese mainstream media.

A video circulating on the Internet shows that a number of foreign media reporters arriving in Zhengzhou, Xinxiang, and Hebi were stopped by "patriotic wolf warriors". Foreign journalists from Deutsche Welle, CNN, BBC, ABC Australia, and other foreign reporters in Henan were met with various so-called "civil" and "self-policing" attacks. In several clips circulating on the Internet, residents accuse foreign journalists of "selective reporting" and "deliberately smearing China '' the moment they see them.

Now that typhoon In-fa has landed in Zhejiang and Shanghai, the public attention will soon be diverted to the east coast, and perhaps the floods in Henan will no longer be a concern. The truth of what caused this major disaster and the real number of deaths may be a permanent state secret, just like many of the other facts covered up by the Chinese Communist Party. "

Forgive me if I’m asking something that has already been addressed. I did not watch al the videos, and have not studied all posts here.
Is there 3 lenses to look at this through?
    1. Naturally occurring disastrous weather which CCP is trying to address
    2. CCP orchestrating this situation
    3. HAARP being used against CCP

Which is most likely? Which is ruled out?
    Is it a combination?

Just trying to understand better. Thank you!

It's a good question. Increasingly, I'm thinking that IF the huge Chinese floods were caused by US weather weapons, that would be a very dangerous gambit. Two things might be triggered, if this was happening:
    1. China would probably be very well aware of this, and might retaliate in kind. (Of course, this could be what's already happening.)
    2. China, faced with catastrophic food shortages and a potentially hungry and desperate population, might be tipped into physically invading the US for its farmland. One might think that the US military would NOT want to provoke that, even if they though they could defend against it.

Thank you for the response Bill. As a follow up, slightly off topic (but it will be my last one&#128578.
...who do you think has the greatest control over the use of HAARP technology/weaponry? Who’s got the biggest stick here?
Implied is the cold willingness to wield it with no compunction.

    Thanks again,

I'd suspect the US — but who knows what the Russians and Chinese may have!

China has been buying land and businesses in the US for quite some time--I think they saw this coming, in part, at least.
Perhaps COVID was their response to HAARP, etc.
They may not have to invade the US militarily to use the US for it's own purposes.
Possibly Bill Gates has been used as a front for some of that, since he is now one of the biggest owners of farmland in the US, if not the biggest.
