I've had some conversations over the past few days with a man who has owned and run a vacuum cleaner repair service in my area for over 20 years, a very reputable businessman and skilled repairman.
I was in the market for a new vacuum cleaner, and I knew he would have good recommendations.
He was able to accommodate me, but we also had quite an interesting exchange about China; specifically how China under the CCP has increasingly over the years flooded the market with very shoddy, often brand name "knock-off" merchandise, and how they've bought the brand names of once reputable companies and replaced their good products with bad.
He said that it's become extremely difficult to find a good vacuum cleaner these days, that they simply don't make replacement parts for most of them any longer, so once something goes wrong, they have to be relegated to land fills.
After having seen much evidence from various travelers through China of the incredibly flimsy buildings they construct there (not to mention dams!), this gave me more food for thought as to why such impractical practices seem to be endemic in China.
I wonder if all the pre-Communist centuries of Buddhist thinking, combined with the terrible problems with flooding that China has always experienced have combined to create a negative, hopelessly resigned attitude surrounding the Buddhist concept of Impermanence.
Add to that the apparent lack of any moral compass in the CCP, it's no wonder their insane agendas are spreading like a cancer all over the planet, perhaps even more so than the other branches of the NWO.
But it was very nice to connect with someone so impassioned about such things, and to discover he is also aware of the "social credit system" and other such NWO agendas.

Hi there Rain Forest and an enormously warm welcome to the forum, and thanks too for your contributions
For me, the main bones of contention running through the various narratives aren't really a battle or dispute between the different peoples; it's an ideological clash.

Perspectives from ones own culture compared to another's are certain to differ widely; it's also what keeps the world an endlessly fascinating and rich place to be.

There's actually a lot more that we all have in common than, prima facie, may seem to be the case.

In the 'west' we've seen endless oppression of peoples around the planet by occupation and bullying through invasion and bombardment, often in serious breach of international law and through deceptive propaganda in the media, which benefits, in the long run, only those who've financed and created those enemies (sic). More people, if not nearly all for example in the UK are absolutely opposed to that kind of activity; it's only the political leaders and whoever they may be lobbying for that stand to gain materially from encouraging this - it's a shocker.

And we need to be very wary of propaganda and be able to see it for what it is when it presents itself. The BBC here are culpable; other various better known alphabet agency fronts (CNN etc) the same. The CCP and its media arm, the same.

The psychological manipulation of communities is actually a global problem.

What we call the 'west' represented by the UK - a Common Law jurisdiction -and USA have built their societies around those Common Law principles and a recognition of the sovereignty of the individual that can hold those in power accountable for any misdeeds. Or at least, are able to in principle.(Many European states do still operate more along the lines of the Napoleonic Code).

But what we've seen starting to undermine centuries' of practice in the west, amongst its peoples, is an ideology which has an appalling track record for suppressing peoples' freedoms, fundamental inalienable and universal rights and that is the totalitarian mantra of Communism and its various iterations.

Visions of people being imprisoned in 'education camps' - CCP propaganda terminology - recalls the horrors of National Socialism in Europe in the 1930s and 1940s where their propaganda labelled these as 'labour camps'.

It's bonafide images of this activity taking place in a modern day superpower that serves as a warning - this should never happen again. This will inform much of the opinion shared here particularly on the forum where we welcome all people regardless of their ethnicity into our 'family' where they should feel safe and where no racial prejudice exists, or is tolerated.

Sadly, those in power positions in the world today and arguably now for quite some time, if they are people and not other entities even, operate more as eugenicists be they from the 'east' or the 'west' and any real war is a battle against that kind of ideology.

These are our common enemy, not each other. It's the people who often get conflated with the ideology.

We are all around the world being played, big time.

My own background, which I've shared very little about here, saw me incarnate in a Chinese port some 50 years or so ago, was delivered by a Chinese person, was occasionally taken care of by a kind Chinese woman who remains a very close family friend to this day, have a brother who is half-Chinese who I love dearly, and lived among that Chinese culture for some 6 years of my early life. Personally I have a great affinity with Chinese people, but I do not share any affinity with Communism or any iteration of it.

    [Popcorn moment]

Everyone needs to watch this: I cannot recommend highly enough Adam Curtis' latest most recent production Can't Get You Out of My Head where any western person in particular would be well advised to acquaint themselves with the coverage he gives to China in this, which is historically accurate, fair, and educational.

The whole 6 part series is a must watch. Guess I've emphasised that enough, right

One comes away from watching that with the same sense I've tried to outline above: that the peoples in their own individual ways all around the world do really strive for the very same positive outcomes for all whilst at the same time should be together fighting a bigger enemy. The enemy in this case being the adoption and practice of inhumane ideas.
    A battle against -isms.

That's analogous to what we do here on the forum

Hi ,thank you for the welcoming words.
I wonder if you really watched the video which was made by westners from different countries who have lived in China many years.(Are you really interested in the truth about China? Well ,if that is the case , now that you can not go to China now, to finish watching those videos with patience and then talk responsibly about China will be the only and better choice. )

I often see people comment on china very negatively ...... they demonize china like a monster... cannot wait to turn China into a clown.....What is interesting in those people is that they have have never ever been to China ,not mention to live there , or know any truth there.......

What is communism in your opinion? I don't think China is communism country at all.
Why? Becuase it is not. The communism party is just a name. It is like Labour party.....Did the Labour party make people work endlessly without any rest? (Because it is called labour party!) The labour Party must have been using their own people as labour and slaves, it must have been squeezing and exploiting the people like crazy ,making use of people's labour to the last breath, turning all the people there in the country into slaves working 24/7 , non-stop...day and night.......

Is that the fact? Doesn't that sound absurd?

I am not interested in the tricks of name. Let's say, a person's name can be "picking-cotton"(peopl can have all kinds of name as they want ,right?) ,this person doesn't need pick cotton in real life, he might work as a BBC journalist or do cleaning in BBC studio.

I am not interested in the name or defination of capitalism or communism at all... because different people have different understanding ,defination about the names and concepts.

What i really care and have interest in is how the peopl live there...... Are the majority of the people in the country satisfied with their life, and government? (Pay attention : not 100%, in any country it is not possible. In any country, there are peopl who are not satisfied with this or that.it is nothing abnormal.)

Look around, when in democratic countries(where always one after another new strain shows up "suddenly‘ ), a lot of people get infected and die from coronavius every day , and in so-called communism country, a demonized(24/7,day and night, all the year roung ) country the coronavirus is put under control....... The name does not really matter here , you know what i mean. PEOPLE'S LIVES MATTER.

Democracy doesn't mean letting the coronavirus spread and telling people no need to wear mask when they are very aware of the fact that China successfully put the coronavirus under control by letting all the people wear mask (as soon as they knew it is respiratory infectious disease) and stay in quarantine for over 2 months. Why they didn't tell their own people(who is obsessed with their government's democracy education and propaganda.) the truth.

Why? That is what the democracy means? (another funny thing is people in the democractic countries stay home in quarantine, suffer from the covid-19......and at the same time enjoy their mainstream media feeding them with all kinds of picking-cotton business about china and miserable life of chinese people ..... while life goes back to normal in China....) I wonder why they don't use this kind of time and energy to question their own governments why they didn't tell them the truth: The masks do work ,and let them wear mask from the start??

Relax, i am not interested in communism at all, my thoughts are not restricted by the defination or all kinds of man-made expaination about it....... either.

What i really care is how people live in this country , are their lives valued by their government??? we are talking about not "the past", not "the future', but "now."

How can people judge that a country is not good ,the peole don't live happily......just because of their notorius(they themselvs know this, too.) media tell them?

Let us see in which country ,the death rate is the highest up to now in the world?

The place with the most Democracy??? WOW , How come? It is unbelievable!

Relax, i am really not interested in any tricks of name or confusing conceptss. Let us put the so-called democracy or so-called communism aside, I already passed the stage when it was so easy for me to believe anybody just because they have clever tongues.

If the people's 3 basic needs (accommodation, medical services, Education)are not guaranteed with affordable/low cost(or for free), it is not good system for me ,no matter what its name is, communism or democracy.

    Did i make it clear?

They are trying to make 90% of us disappear without us realizing that, so they made all kinds of concepts which distract us, divide us, make us stand on the opposite side of each other..... Majority of us have been led to the way they designed for us very obediently ,cooperatively ,actively......provoke hatred further tirelessly by making roumours fly around ......This way the result will be: all disappear together.... While you think you are more smart by trying your best to demonize, fight fearlessly and bravely, to take your imaginary enemy down...

Aren't we cattle or donkeys? Whatelse can we be when we behave like that?

NO ONE KICKS A DEAD DOG. ------That is all the reason why they have been trying to demonize China and Chinese people.

I suggest a book for people who can not go to China and wonder comment on China, the authour was from UK. He has all my respect for his honesty and integrity. The book's name is 《The Genius of China》.

If you read that book ,you know the mordern history of the past 300 years, you still talk negatively about china, then refer to the 1st sentence: you must know deep inside that you are not kicking a dead dog.

Chinese people are not naive, they are just very-kindhearted. This can not be changed, because it is in their blood.

For some people , they can see other people's kindness, they cherish it and do something in return.
For some people, it is a different story. Because they always take other people's kindness as being naive,as something they can make use of and then throw other people's kindness with their owner into the hell without hesitation after making full use of them.

Your eyes is the mirror of Your heart and mind.

    Why the hostility?

It does seem that you come to this site, and assume people here are not aware of the things you speak? The people here joined for one good reason, because they knew these things as well, not because they are part of that group of people who is unaware they are cattle and used as

All you said, it's obvious, nothing we did not already knew, that's why we are here in the first place, see ? I feel like you should spend a bit more time first learning what the people here write or think, instead of jumping directly to lecture them about all the things 'you think they don't know' just because you have found you can see or are aware of them

As a principle to always follow, we should always keep in mind this: "If i can see it, chances are other people can too, i'm not so unique that i'm above every else's awareness levels"

You don't need to be on the defensive so much here at Avalon, instead, if i may suggest, just try talking to people and share without trying to lecture or enforce. Otherwise you may end up doing the same things you claim the westerners are doing, or while trying to tell them they are wrong, ending up confirming authoritarian views in some way

Anyway, hope you have a good time at Avalon

We had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun
Never underestimate my stupidity, i'll take you down on a single sweep

Hi, Thank you for the suggestion. It does make some sense and sound reasonable.

Sorry if the information i shared make you feel offended. It must be misunderstanding. I was just responding to the fake news demonizing China spread here. I feel pretty surprised to see that happening here , because of the reason you stated: pepople who have been here are very alert, smart, should already have known the Truth(which should include the videos and messages i posted here.I suppose.)

That is why i felt it necessary to share the information i shared here. You already knew the truth, you don't help demonize China,no need to feel offended for no reason.

I am not defensive, i was just stating the truth. Nobody offended me,what should i defend?

    Don't think too much.

Let us learn and grow together with this great forum. Cheers!

This is a forum to hear different voices, instead of only one. Otherwise it would be a dictatorship forum. Right?

I don't have much time to do as the mainstream media do, because their Bull**** is too much. Haha. Believe me, there are are way more stuff to learn on this forum than what i want to share.

For me, the main bones of contention running through the various narratives aren't really a battle or dispute between the different peoples; it's an ideological clash.

Truth is a perspective situation, isn't it? We always 'know' the truth, but from our current point of view, which may change later on in life, then we could even possibly go totally against what we considered "truth" years back

I'm not offended, if you know or have seen how Russians are treated in most places on the western world, then you understand what i've been through while on US/Western based forums and other sites. It's a never ending thing of "go back to the motherland. Why are you even here! Don't you have forums on your country, go talk there!" and so and so on, here on Avalon that has never happened, ever

There may be different opinions, but that's part of what makes it special, because the difference is that is not intolerant, if someone has an opinion and you come and expose your own, you can be listened to, no one is going to say "if you love it so much then why are you here" or such ignorant comments, leave that to Facebook or other forums

People are allowed to have their own views, but through conversation we may find ways to at least meet in the middle. Other sites are completely shutoff about it, they don't allow to even go against the site's views, i have experienced that a lot, getting threads, comments removed, then told "why are you even here" by a forum administrator no less, on a site that said "we are open minds" and stuff

I understand your views very well, i just think you need to soften up a bit and, like you said, relax, because here no one will attack your views, they will give proper educated responses to them, and if you have a thing to say, you can reply back, but always with educated responses as well.

Just saying "I know better than you how China is, so you are wrong because you don't see it how i see it" is authoritarian, instead should be "I understand how China is on daily life, this thing you said is not completely correct, and here's why..." Then conversation is possible, and may even change the views of the other person once they see how and why you see things in a different way

Quote I wonder if you really watched the video which was made by westners from different countries who have lived in China many years.(Are you really interested in the truth about China?
Why, for example, reply like this to Tintin? I mean he probably uploaded that video, and if you had spent some time learning about him, you would know that he is interested in truly learning and understanding your point of view, he was opening conversation, not attacking you or China or in any way trying to say he knows better than you

You replied very confrontational, there was no need

You have not commented on the video yet, what do you think of it? Did you like it? Was there wrong assumptions made? Could you explain them better, since you have first hand experience?

If you could do that then it would improve the views of everyone here, about what China really is about

But instead you just told him he doesn't know anything, without explaining why, or how or nothing at all

    Quote Don't think too much.
I don't, it's plain and obvious as the sky around us

    ---------------------------------------

What is interesting is ---- so many people applauded......and laughed......unscrupulously

So obviously when they spread rumour, they always know what they are doing......
They used a small tube of washing powder as a proof of Iraq's chemical weapons, and launched a war on Iraq......This is only a small tiny bit of the lies-iceberg they made.

No more lies about China. When people spread rumours from mainstream media, they are helping to provoke a war,the 3rd world war...

"I live in the US and I've been hearing so much negative things and hatred about China that I got sick and tired and bought a plane ticket there to see it for myself. Stayed there for a month and found out everything told was complete BS. I even criticized the CCP government and nothing happened. It's all BS about being arrested, human rights abuse, etc...total BS. To my biggest surprise was I found so many American expats living there, and they all say american media is nothing else but BS and bad education. And regarding the policy about having one child, that only applies if you are living in central areas of big main cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, etc. where population is highly congested. If you live in the suburbs or smaller cities you can have as many kids as you want. You are also allowed to protest against the government as long as it's a non violent peaceful demonstration. Seen one when I was there and was inside the crowd with the protesters. Western media is nothing else but complete bullsh*t!"

"We don't hate Chinese people, we just want to destroy their country and way of life"

"Very true Fernando. CPC has become integrated part of China and China modern history. Hating CPC is hating Chinese, no doubt about that."

’History shows how much the West loves the Chinese and why stop with China. The nations that have had colonies have a record of treating their subjects with brutal authority ,and this only stopped when they were driving out .'

"The US regime also said the same thing with Venezuela, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Afganistan, many countries in south america and list goes on and on. This only means that tthey want to destroy these countries."

"What do you mean I'd have to communicate with the Chinese people if I want change in their government, they should just do what I think!"
