    So what?
It's crossed my mind that there might some symbolic or metaphorical meaning behind this whole thing. But it's hard to be casual about it when your sh!t is vanishing from 3D reality
Yes, I know all about it. Same thing happened to a credit card here - I had never moved it from its place, but also never found it again - finally had to report it stolen.

We might have to adapt to things like this...

One of these days, someone I do not know called me because they found my cell No. on their phone (sent me a screenshot of my No. after the call).
I checked my list of dialled numbers... I never called them. Well, we both enjoyed it, means we both have a new contact now. BUT, how the heck?
Everything's for a reason. Seems we're switching between worlds at the moment.

And your alarm clock might be the only thing in the other room; or not.
    The other Mike has it.

I woke up this morning, and my alarm clock was gone. Just gone. Used to be on my desk. No longer there.

As far as I can tell, nothing else is missing.

My apartment door has been locked all night. No one has come or gone.

I can't tell if I'm amused or disturbed. But I am very very confused.
I've had things disappear twice. Last time, I was alone, taking apart a laptop in a conference room, replacing the screen bezel. When I went to find the old bezel to send it back, it was not anywhere in the room I hadn't left... The other time, I had a memory stick on the floor of a server room. I was jarred by a phone call in the middle of the job. When I hung up, the memory stick was gone from the white floor! It's as if there's a part of our attention reserved to keeping the environment intact, and sometimes it fails when we're surprised or interrupted.

Although, some people say that faeries are trying to get your attention.

This may or may not be relevant, but here's an extraordinary story of an Spanish woman who woke up in a different (but similar) timeline (of her own) — in which a number of major things had changed, including the disappearance of her boyfriend. (Not just an alarm clock!) And, as best as anyone knows, she was never able to return.

    Talking about alarm clocks...

I purchased one a few days ago. As I was exiting the store they wanted to mark my receipt and I couldn't find it in my backpack so I dumped it out into the shopping cart and there was the alarm clock with everything else. I zipped it up and headed home. When I arrived, no alarm clock.

Over the years small items have gone missing in this strange way and they usually, but not always, turn up weeks or months later. So watch for it, you never know, it may reappear.

I was talking to a colleague about this years ago, an American Indian who was well immersed in the spiritual side of her culture. She laughed and told me the 'little people' were playing with me.

Are you awake or still dreaming, Mike?

I've never had anything like that happen all of a sudden, but sometimes I've lost small things and then they suddenly appear again after a while. I think many of us have those stories. I'm fairly skeptical about things like these and obviously the logical answer is that we tend to misplace things, but I can amuse the thought of house spirits taking the stuff away for whatever reason. What's the weirdest thing for me is that recently I lost my favorite sneakers, actually it was a bag full of walking shoes and I can't possibly tell where they are. Actually I searched everywhere and for all intentions and purposes they're gone.

Two logical conclusions could be made. Either they were thrown away mistakenly for whatever reason or someone stole them. Neither of those conclusions don't make a lot of sense anyways. It's still a puzzle to me and I'd be quite happy to see someone return my shoes but I really doubt that would happen.

There's a term for this, Disappearing Object Phenomenon (DOP).

Mike, I'm going to ask a facetious question (but in all sincerity)...did you ever give a key to your place to one of that string of girlfriends you've had over time?
(Perhaps one who may have wanted a keepsake or some kind of payback?
Or anyone else, for that matter?)
Perhaps someone had access to your key and had a copy made on the sly and likes to play practical jokes?

My personal experience with what I thought was absent-mindedness is more troubling.
(Though I think the apartment I shared many years ago with 2 other college girls had a poltergeist which kept moving things around in our closets; we were just intrigued by it, but not really frightened.)
BUT when I was living in a growing city about 15 years ago and they started putting up cell phone towers, I began having problems with my short term memory.
At home, I would find myself starting to do something again that I had just recently done, and then I'd have a panic attack because I had forgotten, and thought I was having symptoms of Alzheimer's.
But I was already verging on becoming a conspiracy theorist, so I began to have suspicions about cell phone towers.
I definitely didn't like the look of them, and hated the vibe when I was driving near one.
So I became convinced that my memory loss was being caused by cell phone towers.
Subsequently and as a result, I moved to a very rural area where there were no towers, and my symptoms completely disappeared.

Even though 5G hasn't been fully deployed as yet, they are sending up new 5G satellites all the time.
I hate to think about what's going to happen if that agenda succeeds.
You can bet that lots more very bizarre behaviors are going to be displayed, a lot more people will think they have Alzheimer's and I shouldn't wonder if lots of people don't actually start just dropping dead for no apparent reason.

Apologies--I don't mean to be a downer, but the dangers of 5G are my biggest concern right now.
    Each breath a gift...

Some of you may know that I am heavily involved with an order of angels called "Seraphim", and have been for 25 years. The following story tangentially relates to that and also to the possibility of other timelines/dimensions.

About 15 years ago, after the great film "Good Will Hunting" came out in 1998, I had a dream that included Ben Affleck. Now I rarely have dreams about famous people, but knew of him only from that one film which I really liked. Of the two good friends, however, I would have preferred to dream about Matt Damon; but these things cannot be controlled. When before that I dreamt of famous people, it would be a one-off thing. This time was different.
Every three weeks or so, starting around 2004, I would dream about Ben Affleck in a progressive scenario, meaning our friendly relationship was getting stronger with each dream, no longer platonic. This was after his break-up with Jennifer Lopez, but before he married Jennifer Garner. I had no idea where this was going, and thought it ridiculous that it was happening at all. I checked his astrology and found huge correlations between us, but so what!?

Then he married Jennifer Garner, and I might have had one or two dreams with him during his marriage, but basically things had quieted down, and I just forgot about it. Then a few years ago, when I saw an article about Affleck and his three children with Garner, I noted that the middle girl, born in 2009 is named "Seraphina".

    That's all folks.

Mike - it oddly gives me some comfort to read your story.

About 10 years ago I was getting dressed for work one morning and opened a drawer to get out a belt I wanted to wear that had a crescent moon on it that I was quite fond of. It wasn't there. I am notably careful about my stuff, so I was perplexed. I actually took every single thing out of the drawer and placed each item on the floor, looking for it. No belt.

I carefully placed everything back in the drawer one by one and figured I'd look for it when I got home, as I needed to rush off to work. I thought about it all day, off and on, as it was very unusual for me to misplace something - especially something that I enjoy and treasure.

So, guess what? When I got home that evening, the first thing I did was walk into my bedroom and open that drawer, and there was the belt, sitting right on top. I just about jumped out of my skin.

I was living alone at the time, and no one else had a key to my apartment, except my landlady. The likelihood of her playing a prank like that is not even in the realm of possibility. It was far more believable to me that the little people were playing tricks on me.

I considered all possibilities. Had I switched to an alternate universe for 12 hours or so? Were fairies or djinn playing tricks on me? Was the universe nudging me to not take reality-as-I-believe-it-to-be quite so seriously? Or maybe I was just losing my mind.

As far as your clock, a friend of mine's daughter said to him recently, "Time is fake." Wise words from a child. Who needs a clock?
Now you have all the time in the world.

By the way, was it a small battery alarm clock, or a bigger one that plugs in?

Ooh, I've had stuff like this happen before.

Standard issue things disappearing, then reappearing later somewhere you DEFINITELY looked (Missing 411 anyone?).

But some more dramatic ones, too.

A few years back, my family and I were on vacation in Northern California. We were all sharing a 2-bed hotel room to save on expenses, and had a rental car. Only one large suitcase for the whole family, plus a small carry on bag each, as we like to travel light.

I have always been very prone to sweating. It's genetic. Doesn't matter if it's cold, or hot, or if I'm just sitting in an office chair, I will sweat. A lot. My palms are eternally clammy.

As such, I have the habit of always carrying around deodorant. I HATE stick deodorant, so I would always use a roll-on, liquid antiperspirant type. The whole thing is a cylinder about the size of an empty toilet paper roll. I also carry around a small spray bottle, about the same size, of rose water. I find it very refreshing to just spritz on my face on a hot day.

Now, because of my sweat issue, I always keep the deodorant and rose water in whatever purse I'm using, for easy access.

For this particular trip, I chose a rugged, multi-pocket purse, for practicality. I had everything in easy access, very organized (I HATE messes. My purse organization would make Martha Stewart quake with envy). My quadrant of the suitcase is always immaculate, my clothes neatly folded. This is relevant info.

So one morning, we're getting ready to drive into the redwood forest for a hike. Everyone is more or less ready, cleaned and dressed, getting their last bits and pieces together for the drive ahead.

I can't find my deodorant, or my rose water.

Now, this is nothing new. I am NOTORIOUSLY forgetful and scatter-brained. I probably spend 2 hours a week, easy, looking for things I regularly misplace. And I always, always find them.

But I could not find my deodorant/rosewater anywhere.

Now, I NEED my deodorant. I can shower twice a day, and after a mere 10 minutes of minor exertion, you will smell me before you see me. So out of respect for my family, I needed that damned deodorant.

I enlist their help to find it. It can't have gone far. We oh have the one hotel room, it's not a suite, there's just a desk, two beds, a side table, and the TV stand.

We look under the bed. We strip the covers off it. We look in every drawer. We empty out the suitcase, open every pocket, dump out the toiletries bag, check the bathroom, check the trash, the mini-fridge, the safe, the closet, even the damned shoes, everything. We spend a good 30 minutes ransacking the hotel room.

I dump out the entirety of my purse, every little pocket, empty every pouch or pencil case, and lay out all the contents on the bed. I then turn my purse and all of its pockets inside-out, and give it a good shake. Nothing but some dust comes out. I return everything back to the purse, where it belongs. Sunglasses in their case with the cleaning cloth in the large front pocket. Phone with it's charger in the other front pocket. Packet of gum and the mini first aid kit in the other other front pocket. You get the idea. Everything has a home. I know where it all goes.

We're starting to run behind schedule, figure I left it in the car the day before, and get going. Before we drive off, I open all the car doors, and with my phone's flashlight, check under and between all the seats. In the trunk. In the glove compartment, the central console, the cup holders, everywhere. Nothing.

We figure I left it somewhere in yet another harebrained moment. Wouldn't be the first time.

I'm already starting to smell bad, even though I showered fully and freshly shaved not 1 hour before. But we need to go. We already lost a good 45 minutes.

About 3 hours into the drive, I have the sudden urge to check my purse. I had already accessed it a few times. To get my kindle, to check my phone, to give out gum.

Suddenly, I open it, and there, right there in the middle of the purse, is my deodorant and my rose water.

    Impossible.

We all looked. We all ransacked the hotel room and car. My whole family witnessed me turn my whole purse and its contents inside out. I emptied every last item from that purse, and ligbed them all up neatly on the bed. There is absolutely no way those items were already in there, or that I had laid them out without noticing. They would have stuck out like a sore thumb; there weren't that many things in the purse, and most of them were quite small (lip balm, a pen, small keychain, etc).

They simply vanished, then reappeared in my purse, miles and miles away from the hotel room in a moving car. They couldn't have slipped in, either. The purse was on my knees the whole time and could zip shut.

Truly mysterious. Where did they go? Who or what took them? Was it just a "glitch" that the universe fixed, or was it some kind of practical joke from some unseen force?

I am so happy to read this many posts about stuff disappearing

We had a lot of trouble with this a while back - the whole house and land was bad. Since moving away things had slowed quite a bit, but still some things do occur.

My son has had his bank card disappear from his dresser drawer 3 times now. It is starting to become embarrassing going to the bank for another one. My son does not go out alone and is very organized with his few possessions, so he gets really upset when this keeps occurring.

I keep telling him that it is ok and to just not worry about it.

We have had su h weird things- one time the tv remote vanished...long story short, I said let's just leave the room and allow it to come back. We did and a moment later we returned to the room and the remote was sitting right in the middle of the bed.

So Mike, sometimes it isn't when something goes missing, but rather when it returns is the real brain melter.

I've generally been cool with things disappearing as there are many reasons for their disappearance.
In this case I have to say it's for the sake of enjoying our lives, sharing the fun. I do enjoy the mischievous when it happens and chills me out, or gives me a joyful perspective.

We all have had the instant awareness that there are so many interesting things in our close personal spaces that we have not paid enough attention to, only to be awakened by the presence of some simple detail, even as a reminder to change up our thoughts and see from a different angle, imagining another unseen dimension telling us that it is here within our sight yet at times unseen in the busy, touching so lightly upon the unused senses we should be accessing more often.

As in the case of things being gone, or even stolen, sometimes someone may need it more than I do, even as things are rarely stolen. Sometimes I am reminded that I don't need those things.

In the very cold of this last winter, seeing a man on a bench outside of a store, his dog and belongings nearby, I reached into my wallet to share. He put his hand on my arm and said he didn't need any money.
I asked him if he needed anything and he said "A hug."
    We hugged. I moved on.
He shared that he was where he should be at that time, without telling me so in words. I doubt from what I sensed that this was a permanent condition of his and that the value was that there is a permanence while sharing in the impermanence that defines most of what living is. Feeling timeless while marking the tic toc of clocks, lost and found again.

I do have duplicates of those important things, like keys and alternative means of income.
In those times I think I may really need to find a thing, I use the search to organize or to reorganize those things in the areas I think the magically misplaced item may be. Either way, found or not, it is time well spent.

    Let's Try This......

Yes, it is a mark of being in a strong EM field to lose short term memory. This also is a reminder to use only ethernet cables and not wifi, to use an added blue screen to a laptop or desktop computer and to limit the time in front of a screen each day. Be sure to remove or move electric cords and electric alarms from your sleeping area, even if it is to only move them to another side of the room. The best way I've found is to deliberately turn off all devices for the night.

Though sensitive to EM fields all of my life and much more so the more cell phones were around, the first time I was aware of the feeling of a strong computer emitted electro-magnetic, EM, field was when I was given a newer iMac for a small donation as payment.

I purposely left it on overnight to experience the sensations it created to see if it had an effect on me. The next morning I sensed a well defined weakness in my cognitive brain function and my ability to project my presence into the areas around my body. I now know what the field does and does not do, to me at least.

I would consider that short term memory loss and a cognitive disruption in the linear perception of time is a well known fact when living in all of the intermixed EM soups now present in the lives of many.

On a side note....few know that Lou Gehrig likely did and did not suffer from Lou Gehrig's Disease, unless we redefine its cause. It is more likely that the electrotherapy used on him caused his condition. As the use of electricity to combat and alleviate pain was in its infancy and the doctors likely used a Galvanic current, instead of a Faradic one, his neuro degeneration was most likely due to using a more intense electric current in excess duration, something noted by the therapists treating him at the time. All they did was make it worse.

However it is created, the destruction of the nerve sheath is a potent force, as are many of the currents of shorter duration and stronger intensity. I would call those old units Ten By Tens Machines, denoting their exponential power output, completely unfit for the bio-electric nature of human e.m. field.

I also see a strong parallel today with all of the RF EM threats and with the fight between the promotion of AC and DC electricity at the very beginning of their invention so many years ago, albeit with a deeper, cognitive twist. If the country would have chosen the DC electrical grid we would have had deadly DC transmission stops every 2 miles.

If we allow 5G towers they too will be every 2 miles, or less. The twist is that at every increase in output and the marketing of the unnecessary necessity of consumption, the science debate and the deep data reviews should have been the determining factor for going ahead. This debate is on now, yet the debate is no debate at all and the same greed that had to have known about the debilities, injuries and deaths way back in the late 1800's is now afoot in the deceptive practices of both the scientists involved and the media that promulgates, without research, the same deceptions that cover the threat to our lives.

It is not good that my initial sense of the cause of the death of many race horses was due to the installation and use of 5G nearby and on race track grounds. The disruption of the VGCC, the voltage gated calcium channel, with an incrementally stronger series of 5G emitters would put the already stressed calcium transport mechanism of horses under much greater stress. All race tracks should be required to have the lowest presence of EM field strength while horses are active there. Heck, why not do that for all living beings, insects and plants included.

I just read the article confirming that sense I had, yet it could have been predicted knowing the stress that race horses put on their skeletal systems. Ignorance you'd think wouldn't come from race horse owners who, at the least have invested so much money in them, and at the heart centered most would have developed the perception to see this most dangerous of threats coming. I see race horses as I see many of the living animals and insects in our environs as the canaries in our coal mines.

Though your perception of the missing alarm clock is at times interesting and a bit funny, I would see it not as a matter of a mischievous little one having a go with you. I see this from another way, a way that we should all be aware of because it is not intended by its creators to be perceived, except as an anecdotal bit of fun and diversion. It is a diversion all right, yet not maybe the one you understand or have considered, yet.

It is wise to understand that those who have deliberately induced the excess of EM transmission in our lives have done so knowing full well the variants needed to induce many, many debilities which intrude upon and, with an uncanny precision, diminish our natural ability to perceive and evolve our awareness within and beyond the physical. Hmmm? That is a simplistic definition of microwaves, of intensity, duration and focal frequency.

Ask anyone who owns cattle about how their herds have a greatly reduced milk output if they have to graze in fields under high powered transmission lines. In some states cattle owners have put up intense fights to prohibit the power companies from installing power lines in the grazing fields they own, when those same power companies want to cross their properties in order to run their lines in as straight of a line as possible.

Actually it means "Franks", meaning any European, especially Portuguese.

Now that could be ugly, but, I am not qualified to make that decision.

As for the alarm clock, it is not something we usually move much. I never move mine; I just can't see it, because the sun bleaches out the digits. Only know what time it is at night.

I have been told of objects more or less teleporting from a table top to a kind of shelf underneath it.

And although I can actually lose something that is in my hand, once I put it down, it enters the quantum superposition of exists/does not exist until further notice.

I lose everything, except the clock, of course not, it stays in one place, and it is plugged in so it cannot move. So that is impossible. I defy you to prove there is no such thing as your own clock. That cannot be done! It is impossible. The conclusion we must come to is that you are actually wrong. You may be confused, but, that usually happens when you are wrong about something. It's not not there. That is the truth. Any other alternate realities are merely opinions, none of which are held by me.

Go around telling yourself "It's not not there" is much truer than the Evergreen education of nineteen genders.

See what I mean? Presto! Suddenly, you're not confused any more, you are just wrong. It's not there because it is really not not there. That is right. I know, because my alarm clock is still here.

The one you don't have is too big for any Little People to move, and, it could not be a poltergeist, because they would break it. If there was no noise, no noisy ghost. So nothing strange could have happened to it. It just doesn't work like it used to.

Even if you get a replacement, the old one keeps on not being not there. Can't fix it either.

I know there are thieves, and that isn't what they are looking for, whether it is not there or not. So you can't blame anyone else. Have to take full responsibility here as custodian of that item. It could still kill somebody. Doesn't matter if they are trying to steal it at the time. Have to hit them while they're breaking in! If your timing is off, you could get arrested and charged. So I wouldn't play around with this thing.

And then even if you find it, that will just prove it's not not there.

I have an update: I found the alarm clock.

It's still pretty weird, but not quite as weird as before.

The alarm clock was on my bed, kind of half under my pillow and half under my blanket. How it got there is beyond me.

The clock is about 10 feet from my bed, on my desk. That means I would have had to wake up in the middle of the night, walk over to my desk, unplug the alarm clock, and then bring it into bed with me. All while having absolutely no recollection at all of doing any of those things.

I'm happy to have found it. I'd accepted, to the best of my ability, that it had actually disappeared, but it put me on quite a head trip. I was in a weird space all day, and finding the clock has snapped me out of that. So that's good. On the other hand, it's possible that it did disappear and reappear under my pillow and blanket, so the woo woo factor still remains.

Thanks for all the great responses:

Theres a book called Chameleo, where a man named Deon is gangstalked by a bunch of midgets in this cloaking tech. Anyway, you were talking about another phenomena altogether, and I'm prattling on about something else.

Wind: I was hoping I was dreaming. All day long. I kept hoping I'd wake up and my sh!tty alarm clock would be back on my crappy desk next to my old piece of garbage computer. Funny how nostalgic you get for your crap when you think its vanishing into 4D

Of all the places he could have landed, he wound up in the bedroom of a small, modest apartment in central Florida..occupied by a complete nobody. I imagined him returning to his timeline and holding my alarm clock triumphantly over his head, turning a slow circle for all the crowd to see. And then I imagined them all slowly shuffling off in disappointment

    Mike,

I have had several things like this happening to me. Right now, I feel this reality is a simulation. Within a simulation all of this is possible. It might be that the fabric (or code) of this simulation is breaking down. And I believe your (and our) consciousness is playing a role in that. Our reality is not the way the creator intended it to be. We are living of other living beings, whether they are animals or plants, who I believe all have consciousness. In the original reality that is not how it is supposed to be. So the fact this simulation is breaking down might be a good thing.

And yes, sometimes your higher consciousness can send you messages through these ‘magic tricks’. This message might be: “you (we) are nearing the ‘end of time’, and it can also mean a personal thing, like: you have finally mastered being present in the now, and therefore experience timelessness’. Or simply: ‘you have now totally awakened, so there is no need for an alarm clock anymore to wake you up’ 😄

Or you might have been sleep walking, went outside, drove a few miles, and threw the alarm clock in a ditch! In that case, you’ll probably never going to find it.

But I go for option nr. 1 🙂

Theres a book called Chameleo, where a man named Deon is gangstalked by a bunch of midgets in this cloaking tech, and as I was droning on about it she was inching backwards, smiling awkwardly while trying to politely remove herself from the conversation. I had just gotten done telling her about my missing alarm clock, and the gang stalking midgets were just a little too much in the moment. I think she thought I was absolutely nuts. And when I saw that look on her face, I thought ****, it's already happening. Their plan is working.

Arcturian: I read your post with interest. And I felt bad for that hypothetical time traveller.
I either overlooked this, or it just wasn’t there a few minutes ago when I wrote my response...another mystery haha. Anyway, the sleep walking explanation seems to be the correct one, though you never got out of bed in this case, but just put your clock in your bed, while you were dreaming. Still, things like this are messages, most of the time.
