    Onawah posted in this thread that Swedish government are urging their citizens to become preppers!

    "Since Russia’s full-scale invasion into Ukraine, Sweden has grown more wary of Russian aggression. The Swedish government wants its citizens to be ready for the worst-case scenario and is encouraging them to become "preppers."

    After Russia illegally annexed the Crimean Peninsula in 2014 and stepped up military exercises along the Baltic states, Sweden responded in 2017 by reintroducing compulsory military service. Sweden is expanding and better equipping its armed forces, while gradually increasing its defense budget. When Sweden requested NATO membership earlier this year, it marked a historic reversal of the nation’s longtime stance of military non-alignment.

    Now, it’s up to Swedish citizens to ready themselves for the unthinkable and actively prepare for disaster. Robin has been prepping for years. The father sees to it that his home in Stockholm always has enough supplies for his family to survive independently for several weeks. He takes regular trips to the forest to spend a few days in the wilderness. His children always come with him, so that they, too, can practice survival skills.

    In Sweden, interest in prepping is at an all-time high. Across all social strata, people are carefully stocking tins, training survival skills, and even learning how to shoot. And the preppers are networking. Pär Plüschke is 38 and offers prepping courses. He says enrollment used to be manageable but now he can hardly keep up with the demand.

    In the wake of intensifying armed conflicts, the disastrous effects of climate change, and a growing threat of cyber attacks, more and more Swedes want to take action. Instead of simply discussing these issues, they feel this is the best way to assume responsibility for themselves and protect their community."

    Crop Scouts Travel to Iowa, Make Horrifying Discovery When They Look at Corn Fields

    Quote As Americans struggle with skyrocketing food prices amid the historic inflation unfolding under Joe Biden’s failed presidency, there’s more pain on tap for consumers, based on crop scouts’ latest observations.

    Iowa, a key corn producer, is expected to experience a shortfall amid the punishing droughts ravaging the Western Corn Belt, according to Bloomberg.

    “After drought shriveled US corn plants in the western crop belt, all eyes have been turning to Iowa to help save the national harvest,” the financial news outlet reported Thursday. “Instead, the fields in that state have been ‘underwhelming,’ ‘disappointing,’ and just ‘not great.’”

    The report continued: “After four days of measuring the yield outlook in Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Minnesota and South Dakota, the scouts are coming back with discouraging news for a world that’s dealing with high grocery bills and rising levels of hunger.”

    The United States is the world’s largest producer of corn, which is one of the most important crops because it’s used for everything from human food to biofuels to sweeteners to animal feed.

    The projected shortage of corn is setting the stage for more food inflation, at a time when Americans are already struggling to keep up with soaring grocery costs and gas prices.

    “Everyone is really concerned with all of the heat stress across the northern hemisphere this summer,” Farm Futures analyst Jacqueline Holland told Bloomberg. “This just keeps supplies tight.”

    Droughts have been searing states throughout the Central Plains up to North Dakota, all the way west to California and south to Texas.

    Indeed, some farmers have been forced to take the extraordinary measure of killing existing crops that won’t grow because of dry weather and selling livestock.

    According to a survey of 652 respondents in 15 states that was reported Aug. 14 by the American Farm Bureau Federation, 33 percent of respondents said they destroyed orchard trees and other multiyear crops because of water shortages.

    “In one case, a California producer mentioned dropping all fruit on five acres of young Cabernet grapes to help them survive with zero applied water over the last two years, removing all revenue-generating potential for the current year,” the AFBF reported.

    Cattle farmers are experiencing a similar crisis due to the ongoing drought. Exacerbating their woes is the runaway inflation that has become the hallmark of the Biden’s disastrous presidency.

    “Trying to help my daughter and her husband build their herd up to take over operations fully but with drought conditions, it is not looking like they will be able to hang on to their cattle either,” the rancher wrote to the bureau.

    In other words, family-owned small businesses (which was once part of the American Dream) are being crushed.

    And meanwhile, Iowa holds a grim lesson.

    “Iowa was disappointing on my route, especially on corn,” Mark Bernard, a crop consultant for Agro-Economics, told Bloomberg after scouting the eastern leg of the Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour.

    “I don’t think eastern production will be enough to compensate for the western losses.”

    This was recently posted in the "Extreme Covid Measures in Canada... as Loony as ever." thread.

    https://rumble.com/v1hd555-anthrax-o...skatchewa.html

    Government employees are sneaking onto farmer's fields to apparently "test the water". If that is all they are doing, why would they have to sneak and trespass?

    It is said that after 2 days, animals are being found dead from Anthrax.

    I am certain that if Anthrax was found in the water supply by the government's testing, there would be a huge backlash.

    There are currently a number of news stories about animals dying from Anthrax out in the prairie provinces.

    Here's an update from Mike Adams of Natural News. I'll simply copy the summary here, and then anyone who cares to can listen to the video. (Mike's videos tend to be a little too long and unfocused for me personally. )

    I do not know how accurate or serious this is, but it may be a useful post with which to bump this important thread. (There's no real 'wheat export crisis in Ukraine', btw, as 97% of that Ukrainian wheat was ending up in the EU anyway, and Russia has already offered to export its own wheat to developing countries at zero cost... something which you will NOT hear about in the western media.)

    ~~~
    World food supply panic as India bans rice exports
    India exports 40 percent of the world's excess rice supply, providing rice supplies, in part, to billions of people. And India has just banned non-Basmati rice exports, causing a "rice panic" to unfold across Asia.
    Combined with the wheat export crisis in Ukraine (due to malfeasance on the part of the USA and NATO), the world is now facing scarcity and food inflation across TWO food staples: Wheat and rice.
    The full report is in today's broadcast:
    "Exposing Chinese Plan To Starve World Population - US Army Getting Ready To Get China In Line"
    Forty years ago China was in the middle of the world's largest famine: between the spring of 1959 and the end of 1961, following a period of low agricultural production some 30 million Chinese starved to death and about the same number of births were lost or postponed. During the 1990s the worst droughts and floods in China's modern history had only a marginal effect on the country's adequate food supply. Only a return to more rational economic policies after 1961, including imports of grain, ended the famine. China's opening up to the world made a key difference.
    There are currently 8,045,311,447 (8bn) people in the world (including China's current population of almost 1.5bn) . What has to happen to reduce this number to the 500m written on the Georgia Guidestones?
    What has to happen to reduce this number to the 500m written on the Georgia Guidestones?
    Ha. Good question, but just maybe one for another thread.* I'd guess a combo of war, famine, supply chain and energy grid collapse, disease (real pandemics like cholera and tuberculosis caused by a severe breakdown in infrastructure, including lack of clean water and medical facilities), and maybe a major solar event thrown in as well.
    And factored into all of that is the weakening of the human immune system in maybe several billion people, with birth defects and infertility added to the mix.
    If we consider all this as a wildlife biologist might, looking at (e.g.) fluctuating populations of deer or rabbits or mice, it's part of the natural cycle that an apparently thriving population can shrink quickly and significantly once a few of the balancing factors suddenly go right out of whack.
    Humans are just sophisticated animals, subject to the same issues — but in some ways much more vulnerable now than they were even a few hundred years ago. We always need to remember that our current civilization, just one of dozens that have risen and then fallen in the past, has absolutely no divine right to exist forever in its current form.
    Edit to add:
    * I'm going to use that very good question, and my thinking-aloud reply here, to start a new thread on exactly this topic.
    Since that report from 2022, there have many changes in China for the worse.
    Currently there is record flooding there, and farmlands are always impacted when that occurs.
    China is buying up farmlands in other countries, and the CCP is apparently concerned now about the magnetic pole reversal.
    See the Turmoil in China thread starting here:https://projectavalon.net/forum4/sho...=1#post1568841
    Also see:
    A Chinese company has just bought Tyson, which was probably the US's biggest supplier of poultry, and Smithfield, which was the US's largest supplier of pork.
    The Chinese people are not buying milk products now due to financial strains, and so cows are being killed in China for meat.
    The list goes on...
    (The first part of the video is an appeal for funds to finish the documentary that the Epoch Times is making about the NWO's depopulation plan/ plan to enslave the remaining population via food shortages, poisoning humanity via eating insects, forcing people into "smart cities" etc.
    The rest of the video is comprised of talks from various expert forum members who go into more detail exposing the globalists' inhumane agenda and how it is manifesting around the world.
    It ends with a photo of a 2021 news story from Politico about how Washington is taking action to stop China from buying up farm lands in the US: https://www.politico.com/news/2021/0...urchase-499893
    ...so I imagine the Epoch Times documentary will be going into the most recent developments on that score. )
