With today's Djokovic fiasco, I was waiting for some press release from Daniel Andrews, but not a word

He seems to be missing in action. He disappeared round about the time of the court case against him for treason charges, then he was supposed to be in quarantine for a possible covid exposure at a party. But I have come across no news since. All this happened about a month ago.

    Where is Dan?

Meanwhile in NT, Mr Crazy Eyed Gunner announced lockout in Northern Territory from Thursday 1pm to Monday.. (two weeks to flatten the curve vibes.. remember that one?!)... anyways lockout for unvaxinated. *** Vaccine-Pass system will be introduced ***. I think like many other instances of encroachment will be extended and introduced to the other states once they get to gauge reception by public and what tweaks would be needed etc. Buckle Up Buckaroos!
As I understand it unvaccinated people in Australia's Northern Territory are not allowed to leave their homes even for exercise or work, which is a level-up of bat-s***-crazy oppression.

I decided to tune in to the evening news because I suspected the Djokovic story would be everything being focused on and it was. The Lockout and implementing of vax pass in Northern Territory slips under the radar.

Bat-s**t crazy oppression is right! What a convenient bit of tennis related distraction / drama I'd say. This theatre, although a live production, feels like a rerun. That or I've reached new levels of cynicism.... nah! definitely it's the former

This is quite a big thing, with headlines all over the world. (And yes, eclipsing other arguably more significant developments.) Here's just one of hundreds of articles:
Novak Djokovic to remain in detention during court challenge to Australian visa cancellation

Australian Open champion is challenging his deportation after the Australian prime minister said officials were ‘following the rules’

It's worth mentioning at least twice because it's, as far as I know, unprecedented in Oz and way way out of line. As it is very much not acceptable in other places we've seen it used like France, Austria & Italy just to mention a few. I just hope regardless of vax status all Australians unanimously reject this, should it (and I think it will) become adopted nation wide, even if for 1 day.. All eyes on the top end for now.

Malarndirri McCarthy saying some interesting things here... purely my opinion only and if I'm reaching too hard here to read between the lines I've no problem being told as much, in fact welcome criticism as an opportunity to improve on my ability to look at information more objectively.

Reporter: .."cases expected to rise and how likely is it this lock out will be extended... what living with covid will look like in the future."

Senator McCarthy answers that type future is here and will perhaps need to be extended right across the country. So far the reasons appear to reduce burden on testing line ups and overworked staff, testing kits etc etc.. again as I stated in earlier post to me they will just use this like a small scale test run and work out the fine details before rolling out lockouts to unvaxxed in other states.

Svetlana Kovacevic from the Australian Serbian Chamber of Commerce is inteviewed by Sky News over Djokovic's ordeal.

Novak Djokovic has become a political hot potato between the federal and Victorian governments.

Mr Djokovic has spoken publicly for the first time since being detained by Australian Border Force Officials, posting on social media.

“Novak believed that he had a valid visa and proper medical exemptions that were approved in Australia,” Ms Kovacevic told Sky News Australia.

“This is a bad look for the Australian government.”

Has anyone else noticed that Twitter is full of bots/fake accounts?! Lol... It's actually crazy. Totally transparent, but it really does add some kind of perception that there is a view towards a narrative.

This has made me realise, seriously, wow.... We are winning. These weirdos are so dependent on perception through various media channels that they just hope the majority will "fall" for the story and go along with it.

Well, it's an effective method on everyone in my family (unfortunately for me). It really makes me wonder if I am losing the plot. Hahaha... That's what they want, right? Won't work on me. But it's super weird.

A few years ago I was staying in a hotel and... after waking up from a big night out, I thought I was pissing blood... I was travelling with a friend who is a doctor and I told him afterwards. He said, "did you notice the tiles were red?" I was like .... Ohhhhhhhh... He told me he'd thought the same thing at first, lol... Anyway, the point is... Sometimes you aren't peeing blood, there are just red tiles on the bathroom floor, you know? And... sometimes, people seem crazy but it's just the internet. Hahaha

It seems that while Australians are being distracted by the part played by Novak Djokovic the australian government is using this time to pass a new bill.

This gives additional powers to do what they want whenever they want - passing laws to segregate and have ultimate, all-powerful authority over people.

Public Health Amendment Bill 2021 (No 2)

The Chair of the Assembly’s Health Committee, Mr Johnathan Davis MLA, today announced that the Committee was calling for submissions for its inquiry into the Public Health Amendment Bill 2021 (No 2).

The Bill seeks to establish a regulatory framework to manage health risks around COVID-19.

Why is the military giving a press conference about jabbing the children? Seriously, what on Earth is going on?

I wonder if this is because their pre-booked appointments are lower than expected?.. ( I pray that is the case ). And so cue the ADF big wig to make it all the more intimidating adding another layer of fear and seriousness about the situation. Absolutely gutted to see this... truly shameful and I'm heartbroken & so very angry to see what is happening in my country and around the world.

    EDIT:

These stories are behind paywalls so I don't even know which state the first is referring to but via the link a picture can be seen with a snippet from the article that says thousands children yet to book, less than 1/3 currently booked which totals 148,253... 2nd link eludes to cancellations because of having insufficient stock of jabs or because staff shortages.

...sorry if these are inaccessible.. I'll continue to look for better sources, unless someone else is able to locate and provide some.

Novak Djokovic wins appeal case and is released from detention -

Novak Djokovic wins appeal against deportation from Australia

Haven't mentioned it before but isn't it interesting how Novak is No Vac .... ie No Vax ... there was another clip with Serbian supporters all chanting 'Novak' and it could just as easily be No Vax...

One of life's little (non) 'coincidences'...

Unless any more obstacles are put in his way and he plays in the tournament - I hope he can live with the pressure because his games are going to be of great interest to many many more people than usual - he seems like a cool character and maybe he will play even better because of what happened... ?

No sooner than he wins his case i am getting stories Novak was immediately arrested for something else.. then there were clashes on the street between his supporters and Vic Police, pepper spray was used apparently.
