I was totally delighted to see Pat Cash speak out. Aussie sportspeople have a reputation (in the sporting world) for being tough, never-back-down, never-say-die warriors.

In particular, Aussie cricketers are famous for their no-holds-barred, beat-the-opponents-to-pulp, win-at-any-cost mentality. Yet so far — as best as I've been able to see — those same 'warriors' have been a bunch of compliant wimps.

Seen from afar, that feels pretty disappointing. I was expecting quite some spine from those people. But again, it's entirely possible that I'm missing things that either haven't been made public, or haven't made it to the media outside of Australia.

I havent heard any any Australian sport professionals speak out. This doesn't mean to say they havent, but the MSM would not publish or broadcast anything against the official line. The other factor is a threat to their sporting career if they do say anything against the agenda

WOW..... if they pull this off it could be a game changer - or start of a new phase of resistance -

in a way their trucks are like tanks... ie there's a big difference between the police battering and abusing individuals on the streets and police being faced with trucks ..... some of them huge....

If car drivers in their cars also came out and joined them in support...... ???


edit to add..... if they took enough water and food and bedding (and some kind of mini toilet facility... ...)...... they could stay in situ for a few days.....

But I'm getting carried away now.... (or am I..)..... if this is war and the future of the country and all the citizens and children are at stake... ????

Keep in mind the new restrictions come into force at 0:01 AEST on the 23-Aug-2021. That's just under 3 hours from the date of this post.

I've just learned from an insider in the NSW Police "force" [emphasis added] that they plan to be very strict with the new directive. I don't believe Alan Hennessy is overplaying the situation at all. He's telling it like it is.

I would not be so quick to write-off a truck blockade. Australia has seen the effectiveness of this kind of protest before (many times). IMO, this type of action (if it goes ahead), will be far more effective than people realise. Australia is a big country, and it relies on the roads and the freight that moves along them. Shut off the access to freight, and you shut off the ability for the nation to function. Without function, the nation will be brought to a standstill very quickly, and very effectively. I'd love to see the bureaucrats try to find a way out of that dilemma.

I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to, but for the Sydney South West where I live can only travel 5km from home and exercise that is walk or run no further than 1km from home no more than 2 people can exercise at a time together almost all businesses are closed except essential services e.g. supermarkets, petrol stations, post office.

Aussie tennis champion speaks out about the clot shots. He tried to appeal to the tennis association he belongs to and they ignored him so he had to bypass them and share everything he knew internationally amongst the young tennis players and coaches themselves.
There has been clot shot injuries amongst the young players but the dominant force in the industry is to get the shot so that people can move on.

His own 89-year-old mother had the shot and experienced a stroke and two heart attacks. However she didn't want to report it because she felt it would go nowhere.
