A dedicated 1,000-bed quarantine facility will proceed in Qld on a 30-hectare Army barracks located in Pinkenba, just metres from Brisbane Airport.

The Qld Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Australian Government’s Pinkenba quarantine facility.

Just heard today that the border to qld from nsw is most likely to be closed til December. This hasn't been announced... it was some special forces policeman who said it to a client. Bear in mind that right now we, who live right on the border, say 50,000 people all up, we can only cross for only 5 strictly defined reasons AND YOU MUST BE VACCINATED. How's that for draconian? How's that for madness? At this rate i might never be able to travel 35mins up the road EVER AGAIN. Hard to believe but. possible......
