I have high hopes and I really hope peaceful protesters will ignore any systematic provocation. So far they are interviewing people who have travelled to Berlin in order to be part of this. It all sounds positive and very peaceful at the moment.

I have just been told by a friend that flights to Berlin have been cancelled and prebooked hotel rooms are suddenly no longer available.

Interesting, the comment function underneath has been deactivated due to "insulting" posts. And the headline of this clip says it's a demonstration of "corona deniers". And they keep showing the numbers of new infections...

UPDATE: Apparently the police are blocking roads, so people from other places can't get in. Looks like it's all up to the people who are already in Berlin.

UPDATE: The police are blocking the area and people are trying to force their way in. It would be interesting to see footage from the air because the police are blocking people from entering the centre in an effort to keep the numbers low.

The police are present with water canons. Let's hope they will not be able to find an excuse to use them.

Bild claims the police are dissolving the demonstration because people don't practise social distancing, at the same time they are not letting people through to the centre, so people are stuck at the fringes, in masses, with no social distancing, either

The highest court in Germany has declared the action of the police (i.e. dissolving the deminstration) unconstitutional!
So now there are peole in front of the Russian embassy (address: Unter den Linden), shouting: Resistance.
They are also asking for a peace treaty for Germany, so this has become much more than just a coronavirus demonstration!
