Kamala Harris’ running mate Tim Walz believes people shouldn’t be afforded First Amendment protections if they say things the government has deemed “misinformation.”
The Democrat Minnesota governor shared his disdain for free speech during an MSNBC discussion in Dec. 2022, where he proclaimed that people expressing that “mail-in ballots aren’t legal” represented voter intimidation.
“Years ago, it was the little things. Telling people to vote the day after the election, and we kind of brushed them off,” Walz said. “Now we know it’s intimidation at the ballot box. It’s undermining the idea that mail-in ballots aren’t legal. I think we need to push back on this.”
Of course, if the COVID pandemic taught us anything, it’s that the establishment cannot be trusted to dictate what is and isn’t “misinformation,” and that their covert power-hungry motives guide their censorship efforts.
Walz’s embrace of a crackdown on free speech rightfully rattled conservatives on X, who feared if he and Kamala take office they would set their targets squarely on the Elon Musk-owned free speech platform, with many labeling him a radical far-left Communist.
Honestly, I can't say it matters how dangerous these candidates are, what they stand for, or what their ideologies are. So Walz wants to dismantle free speech, the Constitution, and instill authoritative communism across the land. Does it matter? His platform may just as well literally support the spontaneous combustion of the planet. In short, I would advance what he and Kamala believe and stand for is irrelevant. People don't seem to care about that. What they care about is how their candidates tug on their feelings and emotions.
It would seem ideology nor platform is not the underlying factor driving politics these days. We sometime think about this as if the people are judging the candidates based on their merits and ideas; but the truth is, Harris and Walz are being coronated as the next administration (and celebrated) not because of their ideas, but because they represent the coronaters; as such they are being presented and introduced to the people, via a massive public relations campaign sponsored by the intelligence agencies, as the next POTUS and Vice POTUS. Their subjects are being cajoled and entranced into loving and beholding their new "so-called" leaders. It is not unlike how the dictator in North Korea instructs the North Korean people via statues, photographs, billboards, and portraits on every corner and building to love and behold the dictator. As far as I can tell, this isn't subtle in the least. This is brainwashing 101. What we are all witnessing is one big orientation ceremony. And if the masters of psyops have their way, the November election will be but a theatrical afterthought underlying this process--and on the outside chance radical activists (we election deniers) who truly believe in democratic representation succeed in reforming the election process by unveiling the sham, and/or somehow pull off an honest election, authoritarians in charge will never
abdicate power or certify the election. In which case the country is thrown into instant civil war.
If the activists fail to secure an honest election, a la 2020 (the more likely outcome), those who cry foul, if not thrown in prison or re-education camps first, will desperately try to convince the people with verifiable facts and evidence the election was rigged. If the evidence is blatant enough--and it will be to those honest with themselves, as this time around people will be more closely
watching--there will be uprisings and unrest.
Either way we have civil war.
Events may not play out exactly such, but as it stands, I don't see any other way of this playing out...
