BREAKING NEWS TODAY : Trump and Pence Signal President Won't Resign or Be Removed

Vice President Mike Pence signaled he’ll spurn demands to immediately oust Donald Trump over a deadly riot by the president’s supporters as the two met and agreed to work together for the remainder of the term, according to senior administration official.



The discussion seems inconsistent with intense speculation that Trump plans to resign before Joe Biden’s Jan. 20 inauguration.



It was the first time Trump and Pence have spoken since the president’s supporters stormed the Capitol while Pence was presiding over formal affirmation of his re-election defeat, according to two people familiar with the matter.



The two men, meeting in the Oval Office, agreed that people who broke into the Capitol don’t represent Trump’s “America First” movement and pledged to continue their work on behalf of the country for the remainder of their term, the official said. It was a good conversation in which Trump and Pence discussed the week ahead and reflected on the last four years of the administration’s work, the official added.



House Democrats are seeking to hold Trump accountable for the riot if Pence fails to act against the president. Lawmakers pushed forward on Monday with their plans to impeach Trump for a second time, introducing a resolution accusing Trump of “incitement of an insurrection”



Pence was initially furious at Trump after hundreds of the president’s supporters breached the Capitol last Wednesday, disrupting the count of Electoral College votes and causing the vice president and lawmakers to flee the House and Senate chambers.



The episode raised the prospect that Pence might act to invoke the 25th Amendment to the Constitution, which allows the vice president and a majority of the cabinet to remove the president from office -- a move encouraged by Democratic members of Congress. But Pence has privately dismissed the idea as not feasible, according to one person familiar with the matter.
The senior administration official’s account of their meeting appeared to put the matter to rest, and also rule out a presidential resignation.



The vice president’s office and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows’ team coordinated on the official’s account, according to people familiar with the matter.



The official and the people familiar with the matter asked not to be identified because the meeting between Trump and Pence wasn’t announced.



House Democrats have introduced a resolution that sets up a vote over impeachment later this week -- unless Pence changes his position and ousts Trump.



Impeachment Moves Forward



The chamber will consider the measure Wednesday, according to a schedule released from House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, a Democrat.



A majority of House lawmakers have signed onto the resolution, led by Democratic Reps. David Cicilline of Rhode Island, Jamie Raskin of Maryland, and Ted Lieu of California, charging Trump with inciting the insurrection at the Capitol on Jan. 6.



It seeks to both remove Trump from the presidency and prevent him from ever holding office again. Cicilline said the resolution has enough support for passage, including some Republicans.



The four-page measure includes an article accusing Trump of high crimes and misdemeanors for “Incitement of Insurrection,” and says that he “willfully made statements that, in context, encouraged — and foreseeably resulted in — lawless action at the Capitol” as lawmakers were certifying the Electoral College.



The measure also cites Trump’s phone call to Georgia’s secretary of state, urging him to “find” enough votes to overturn Biden’s win there.

Unfortunately there will be no dignified exist for Trump. I foresee a very tragic ending. I suspect they will still try to impeach, (they have the votes now) and/or indict or try Trump for sedition or treason, and he and family will be made sacrificial lambs. There will be no further resistance against the corrupted PTB, for fear of retaliation, and Trump and supporters will be made an example. In the words of Nancy Pelosi, Trump will be erased from history. If any historians dare utter his name, his legacy will be the POTUS who invoked insurrection against the United States Government.

The country is already split, and the Union will be completely destroyed, regardless. I expect a false flag with pipe bombs, molotov cocktails, etc., and perhaps even a staged armed conflict on January 20; the narrative will blame Trump supporters and provide good reason for Biden and congress to enact even more draconian lock-down laws and policies and perhaps even trigger the abolishment of the 2nd Amendment altogether. If this doesn't occur on January 20, it will eventually occur organically, as militias and organizations like Oath Keepers will take matters into their own hands as vigilantes--which will be disastrous both for the Union and what limited civil rights we have left. At that point every American citizen will be guilty until proven innocent and a suspected domestic terrorist under the NDAA.

In other words, I do not believe Trump's concession will save the country from violence; IMHO it will lead to more chaos and violence.

This has been planned for a long time. I envision check points, ID cards, forced vaccinations that will program DNA (which will allow the next bioweapon strain to breech the cells it attacks--thus rendering it a genuine deadly virus), and limited travel without permission from government. The former Soviet Union comes to mind, but in some ways our new system will be more authoritarian and oppressive.

As they come for the guns, people will resist more, some law officers will be killed in firefights, and draconian responses will become more severe. Any known Trump supporters or 2nd-Amendment supporters will be placed on no-fly lists, their bank accounts usurped, denied employment, and maybe even executed for treason.

There can be no 2022--sorry--elections are now purely ceremonial and any political movement that counters the status quo will be easily crushed. What 2020 showed us is We The People have no voice; how can we possibly enact reform without free and fair elections?

The best advice now is to get good with God and seek inner peace.
